hey I love your writing. I’d love if you could do like a James potter x reader where James is smoking and reader finds it really hot and has maybe there in public so she’s just sitting there really turned on and can’t do anything about it ??
hello, love! do you mind if i take a piece of your mind because this idea had me reeling. hehe, thank you for sending in the request!
can't you see, you're meant for me?
pairing- bsfdad!james potter x reader warning(s)-suggestive content, cigarettes. a/n- i'm a sucker for dilf james...sorry not sorry.
ps- this is very short :p. lmk if ya'll would like a part two hehe.
little train
Tumblr media
you shouldn't be thinking about his biceps. not when you're out and about in public. but still, your mind doesn't stop reeling. you watch the sun rays reflect on his brown skin, reflecting the stretch marks he's got on his arms. they're beautiful, you think, as the veins pop from within his skin. he inhales another puff from the cigarette, watching as the smoke ascends into the sky.
'want one, love?' he asks.
'no mr. potter,' he huffs.
'i've asked you so many times to not call me that. you know you can call me james,'
'ah-okay, james, i don't want a cigarette.' he laughs.
'i don't think i'd be able to handle two stoners either ways.'
you're listening to him intently. at least that's what he thinks.
your mind however in occupied in the idea of having his hand wrap around your throat, as he'd push you to the wall, kissing you harsh. you imagine his fingers exploring every bit of your bare skin, with his rough calloused hands. you'd let him, happily. and even if deep down you know it was wrong to be fantasizing about your best friend's dad.
god, you couldn't help yourself.
'love, are you listening?' he asked, apparently caught up on the way you'd zoned out. you'd been practically zoned out, mesmerized by his biceps. he threw the cigarette on the ground, crushing it with the sole of his shoe.
you'd been caught. fuck.
'you seem lost, are you okay?' he said, moving towards you. he was wearing a compression sleeveless shirt paired with gray sweatpants. the ultimate outfit to get you reeling and drooling over him.
'i-ah- i zoned out, james. i'm okay,'
he didn't buy your lie. instead, he offered you a wicked smile.
'you are?'
'totally,' you answered, overly cheerful.
'and i totally believe you.' you blushed, cursing yourself internally.
'now tell me, what is your pretty mind thinking about?' he said, moving closer. you stammered, taking a few steps back.
'i-i'm just thinking about-'
'about?' he knew what you'd been thinking about. you could see it in his eyes. in his soft hazel eyes there was a twinge of malice, a twinge of mischief which you could recognize so well. and god forbid it made you so weak in the knees. you closed your eyes, trying to let your heart stop before you spoke the next words,
'you know what i'm thinking about, james.' he smiled lopsidedly, as if greatly amused, running his tongue over this upper row of teeth.
'do i now, love?'
'i think so, yes.' even if you're faking your confidence, he can right see through your act. he can see you crumbling from within as he towers over you, asking you mundane questions. and god does he love the effect he has on you.
he tests the waters, his palm coming closer to your face. you lean towards it, but just as your face is about to touch the crevice of his palm, your best friend shouts,
'oi! papa! i'm coming,' you jump away from him as harry comes running towards james. in your head, you hate how harry came in and ruined the moment. but you're also grateful because you didn't think you'd be able to control yourself if he held your face. however, it was safe to say the ride back home was more torturous than ever.
he kept tapping his fingers on the passenger's seat while he drove, seemingly nonchalant. but boy both of you knew it drove you fucking crazy.

Hey let me tell y'all this cool psychological trick that I learned when I was three years old: Sometimes people don't know all the same things that you do, and you can avoid a lot of fights by first checking if they know they're wrong.
If you hear someone say something that you know is completely wrong, before you go straight at their throat, pause to consider the possibility that they aren't being mean and lying on purpose out of deliberate malicious intent - they might actually just not know that they are wrong at all! Most people don't deny the existence of things they are aware of just out of pure evil, and most people aren't unaware of things they never interact with out of malice, it's simply hard to see something that isn't in your line of sight.
So instead of opting straight for violence and threatening to kill people on tumblr and on the playground, try first calmly asking them if they're aware of some specific thing that clearly contradicts the thing they just stated as fact. Because there's a chance they just didn't know that they were wrong! And if you bring it up in a nice way, they might learn that they were wrong about something and instead be right, instead of now fighting you in self-defense!
Sometimes people know things you don't know, and sometimes people don't know everything that you know, and this affects their behaviour. This cool trick is called "theory of mind", and it's widely known by most adults, several primates and some birds. Try applying it to your everyday life, and you might find yourself making more allies and less enemies than you would by simply attacking people.

Nyx is a fun sized guy :3
How would he feel if another human was trying to court his s/o? Especially if compared to him, they are big, strong and would be ideal for providing?
AND VICE VERSA
What would happen if another rabbit person tried to yet his attention when he has his s/o??
I love this question cause I get to display Nyx like a peacock the way I haven't yet
The thing about Nyx, is that he's anxiety incarnated when it comes to anything NOT including himself.
When on the topic of himself however? He's so overly confident it's almost arrogance but the way he's confident isn't "you're dating the best partner because I'm me" it's more "of course we're together, the best of humans only deserves the best of inhumans." He'll lift you up in confidence while also praising himself. Package deal.
A big human coming to HIS human with intentions of courting or even flirting??? No. Not allowed. Absolutely not. Stop, turn around, do not pass go do not collect 200$.
To the point he almost seems like a different bun, but really he relies on throwing people off, he knows an actual fight gives him low odds against a human, he would fight another bun though. But mostly he aims to confuse and embarrass or make others nervous as opposed to going straight to an actual fight
More specifically
~
"What is this supposed to be?" Your little bunny boy questions in a surprisingly bold tone, stepping to your side with his eyes fixed on the guy that had asked about going out for drinks.
Nyx, even as small as he was, seemed larger somehow... Oh. He's standing as tall as his hind paws allow, ears perked up, head held high, shoulders back, chest out. What a confident little bun he seemed, and it was certainly enough to catch your fellow human off guard.
"Oh, sorry man, didn't see you there. I'm Jax, I'm a co-worker of-"
"-of my human. Yes I'm aware, we've talked about you over lunch before." Nyx waved Jax off with his hand, turning to look up at you instead. His tone shifting from hinted malice and morphing into the usual softer lovestruck tone. "Speaking of lunch, Honey- you said you wanted to try out that new Yakitori place, right? They have all sorts of cuts of meat and veggies for me too."
There's something about how Nyx is acting, as if Jax isn't even worth the effort of being polite with while simultaneously encouraging you to leave. You'll have to discuss exactly what's up later but don't want to purposely upset anyone, so you turn to Jax to at least say goodbye-
Until Jax steps forward with some gathered nerve that's far too easy for a big guy to have. "Actually, rabbit- I'm going to be taking my coworker here out for a drink."
Nyx doesn't hesitate and doesn't second guess his actions because he springs forward, landing with a quiet thud on the concrete directly in front of Jax, making the grown man stumble back slightly. "Excuse you? I think you actually tried telling this incredible person what to do. No, that's not how you should be speaking to the greatest human you'll ever meet."
To both your confusion and amusement, Jax is stumbling backwards from a bunny half his size just from Nyx's bolstering display, continuing his steps forward, forcing Jax backwards even further. "No, because they're my wonderful partner and I'm theirs. And we are going to have a lovely lunch at the new spot they've been talking about, and we'll maybe go shopping after, and then go home. Alone. Without your nonsensical attitude and demands that honestly don't hold any water."
Jax stumbles back further. Gripping over the curb behind him and landing on his ass with Nyx standing far too close to be a respectful distance, the white and brown fur hybrid glared down, leaning over slightly to make eye contact directly. His eyes hold a challenge to them. "Now where in those plans do you see yourself included? I certainly don't see such a ridiculous notion anywhere." His perked ears twitch back to you, remembering you're there as well, and his tone and demeanor draws back slightly.
When Jax is silent -most likely confused and embarrassed- Nyx turns to walk back to you. He turns with the familiar bright smile and spring in his step as he wanders towards you, raising his hands to take your arm and guide you away, a slight spring in his step. "Come on, honey! I think that's the best pre-meal entertainment we could possibly get."
What a bun, that Nyx.
~
Now, if another bun ever tried, he'd go all out- nvm on explaining you get a two for one scenario here we go!
~
It was certainly a strange situation.
You'd grown accustomed to the burrows being a place where you have to be overly cautious and watch your actions closely as most bunny Hybrid around here were so easily frightened.
But this one seemed... Not.
The dark brown fur ears and tail were fluffier than Nyx's, and she was a larger type of bunny... Were there different species of rabbit-hybrids? There were characteristics in Nyx's family that you didn't see for each bunny out and about... Regardless, the one in front of you had hopped over to the bench Nyx left you on while he darted off to find something he left in his families burrow. So you were alone... Trying not to be too loud or too quick in movements but also trying to get this bunny -Alira- to stop flirting so much.
She had hopped up onto the bench with you at this point, leaning over herself and placing her hands on the bench to prop herself up all while speaking. "Come on, a strong predator like yourself all alone out here? You can't convince me that you're here with some silly bun... I think you're here looking for somebunny to devour" her grin didn't diminish though, apparently she was writing her own narrative in her head despite your many denials.
"I don't know what to tell you, you don't have to believe me but I really just wanna be left alone until my partner comes back."
"Partner?" Her ears perk up as much as they can despite the natural droop to them. "Oh dear, what a flimsy relationship... Not even a mate yet?"
At that you're caught off guard, "A what?" At the feeling of her hand on your arm, you jolt back, almost ironically given your dispositions.
What you're not prepared for, is to have a very familiar white and brown fur bunny boy springing on you out of nowhere and depositing himself onto your lap. Nyx fills your vision, his eyes alert, his smile bright and his ears up. He looks like the epitomy of a parading peacock. "Honey!" His greeting seems overly sugary in tone, his hands pressing into your cheeks and pulling your face down to his for a kiss. One and another and another spanning from your lips to your nose, your cheeks, your forehead, your jaw- "I'm so sorry it took me so long, Grandma bun was just telling me how they wanted me to invite you to celebrate the harvest holidays with us, isn't that sweet?"
After a moment, it's clear he's intentionally ignoring your company but once he sees Alira's hand still on your arm he swats it away, raising your forearm and pressing a kiss where her hand was. "Oh, my poor honey. All of this unwanted attention from strangers that don't know their place must feel so uncomfortable. Why don't we go back to the burrow, hm? I can make us some sweet bread and spiced tea to relax with? And we can talk holiday plans whenever you'd like."
There's something familiar in how he's acting. How any time someone tries to take your attention he purposely acts as if they're not around, as if so unimportant they're not worth noticing...
With that, Nyx hops off the bench, guiding you along with a delighted expression and promises of sweets and soft blankets to cuddle under, promises he would absolutely deliver at that.

Hi Sophie! In light of the genocide in Palestine and the conspiracies around it, do you have any thoughts on how to avoid conspiracy thought?
You pointed out in Conspiracy on the Left that conspiracists will often switch from using language that recognizes incentives and structures, to language that indicates direct malice and intent. I've seen this in real time with Zionism where people will stop using it as a term to describe the ideology and actions of Israel and America (economic and military interests, the historical inertia of the british empire, the interest of capital and western nations using Israel as a base in the Middle East), to using it as a placeholder for jews (people accusing individual people (usually american) of attempting to silence voices with media platforms)
I was gonna say I find this one really straightforward, but at the same time I myself have actually rushed into condemnations of Israel that gave too much leniency to antisemitic ideas, so there probably is a bit more to it. I'll get to it
Firstly, the straightforward part of it is that there are jews all around the world who absolutely fucking despise israel and its genocidal project, so even saying "Israel doesn't represent jews" is too mild. Israel actively denies citizenship to ethiopian jews for instance. I think the main thing is to recognise it for what it is - an outpost of imperialist white supremacy in the Middle East - and to recognise Zionism as a primarily American and imperial core phenomenon rather than a jewish one.
Once you have those ideas down it's pretty easy to separate it out because assuming that any jewish person or org supports Israel just because they're jewish is clearly antisemitic. But here's the rub, Israel uses jewish identity as a shield to justify its actions. At the same time that there are illegal settlers literally giving interviews saying "I describe myself as a fascist" the Israeli state claims that Hamas reads Mein Kampf and that Palestinians are literal Nazis. Not only that but Israeli statesmen use references to things like Amalek to signal their genocidal intentions, basically using the cultural references of Judaism to simultaneously hide behind and also attack.
Where I fell into something antisemitic was when I found out about the IDF cumjacker squad, the guys who go out to get the semen of Israel's fallen dead. the Jizzrael Defence Force if you will. Someone who was talking about it said that the justification had some kind of origin in the hebrew bible and I parroted this without thinking until a jewish friend pulled me up on it. There was no source and there was frankly no reason to repeat it even if it had been true, right? but I got carried away. The reality is that the cumjacker battalion exists for the same reason as sterilisation & organ harvesting programs, because Israel is a Starship-Troopers-Ass fascist nightmare state that sees the bodies of the pure and good as essential to the domination of the future and the bodies of the impure and wrong as wretched at worse and resources at best.
How I think we can avoid the trap of sharing these rhetorical points is by remembering what Israel's relationship to judaism is, which is primarily as a shield. "Shoot and Cry" is the phrase to remember. Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir said "We can forgive them for killing our children but we can never forgive them for making us kill theirs". This bogus remorse over their genocide of palestinians (because they understand genocide because of the holocaust, see?) and constant preemptive counterattack (Amalek attacked Israel first, see) is the place where Israel touches base with jewish identity, but if you can't see any benefit to Israel's strategy in association with jewish identity, it's likely someone is just trying to say The Jews instead of Israel or repeating the talking point of someone who is.

ngl still being a kaiser fan after 261 is lame
Omg this ask got me so tight when I got to it I had to hop on mylaptop to type my essay
Ok this is a little Personal and some of yall aren gonna fuck with me after this but it's ok . Kaiser is a character I identify with because he's a good portrayal of someone with NPD so WE WILL GET INTO IT!
So like that being said. What do you mean 'Still liking Kaiser after the leaks is lame' like genuinely what do you mean. I just woke up but are you guys like SURPRISED by this. I liked him when he was introduced and this is what he was acting like. There have been A HUNDRED more chapters of him acting the same way past introduction. And now he's still acting like it. I understand if you just hate him right off the bat that makes sense but this doesn't really. Even if you're one of those people who just liked him for the backstory reveal because you have a I Can Treat You Better hero complex re:abuse victims that behavior WAS shown EVEN IN 260. "I hit the ball but it doesn't hit back" - the author has a very specific way of writing and this was VERY much intentional
Also like I understand there might be an initial shock when reading such words. Like it's Unpleasant it's Ugly. But also it boils down to a State of mind which personally I've observed as common among victims of severe trauma. "These people are born 'humans'. Different from me, they were born 'wanted humans'." = I hate people who weren't hurt the same way I was because I am jealous and bitter, I'm so jealous and bitter it feels good to me to make others feel like shit. And I'm not trying to get on some Hurt People Hurt People bullshit because that shit is annoying and apologia but what I'm trying to say is that sometimes Trauma makes you unpleasant and ugly and erratic and I appreciate that Kaneshiro actually wrote it out. Also like that feeling by itself isn't inherently evil. I think it's a very natural response! In this case Kaiser goes too far not by experiencing this emotion but by acting on it.
So now with THAT out of the way too, I think we need to sit down and think more into the Ness situation. So first he says, "I can't accept kindness because all I know is malice. If anything I think malice makes life easier." Then he goes to say he is specifically looking for someone to make a "dog to his malice" and reads a psychology book to achieve that. Like first of all I'm sorry but that is so comically evil it's hilarious to me. He read a textbook to be a more efficient male manipulator. But anyway the way I understand that isn't a deep underlying evil within him but a need for control. I think he believes everyone will hurt and disorient him unless he feels like he's Controlling them. From an abusive household the only relationship dynamic he knows is person of authority - inferior party. His only friend is Ness and the only person he feels safe around being Ness is because of he tells himself Ness is his "dog" and therefore won't ever raise a hand to him. And that's because he thinks anyone who isn't his dog/under his control will do exactly that.
And so... If we go from there, from the parallel we understand Kaiser didn't see his meeting with Ness the same way Ness sees it. However, that doesn't mean Kaiser's view is the objective truth. I think they're both UNRELIABLE and EMOTIONALLY UNSTABLE. So what that means is that Ness sees his time together with Kaiser through a more glorified lens, while Kaiser denies himself thinking of Ness as a companion because that puts him in a vulnerable spot, so to maintain his feeling of being in control he exerts distance and tells himself Heh we aren't actually friends because he doesn't even know that one time I giggled at him in the showers I was actually just manipulating him all along because I am sooo evil and untouchable 😏. Like do we actually take this perception at face value here because to me it just seems like a Scared and Cowardly person trying to act out his idea of a strong person because the ONLY other time he's been in any meaningful proximity to someone he got beat up and degraded.
With that I also think Kaiser is very much narcissist posturing. He'slying to himself to make himself seem invulnerable and self-aggrandizing himself through his malice (I think pretending we are 100% evil and irredeemable makes a lot of us feel safe because it seems inhuman and people are easily hurt so you don't Ever want to be a multidimensional person with layered personality traits). Because like if you think about it without the emotional reaction of "I hope Ness kills you you stupid whore" that we all have... He actually isn't doing anything that big. Like in his head he's like Heh I'm soooo Patrick Bateman I have all the control 😏 but all he did was like find a guy to play football with.
Like he's trying to say to himself that he's all that. Sure he does insult Ness and that's not good! But he didn't pull off some Complicated deeply horrific scheme. I do not believe Kaiser has an objective view of himself. It really takes away the power from all of that when you realize what he's doing is just Very Pathetic and Paranoid and Intimacy Averse. "I can't have normal friends let me get this guy in on my master servant roleplay and I'll act like he's not enjoying it too because it'll make me feel more powerful" Men will do anything but go to counseling
Addendum: This is also not Kaiser. Now I don't know what kind of person Kaiser is but considering I read it as him suffering from NPD/a disordered personality that means he doesn't have a "real" identity most of the time, this is a shell we're seeing. He just has a mask maybe there's something underneath maybe there isn't and he's empty inside, but the point is he is the kind of character who has a specific way they want to portray themselves and will lie to both themselves and the audience to achieve it. Yes I believe that includes the I'm a male manipulator evilest person alive 😏 shtick too (I think the actual truth is probably somewhere in the middle of his and Ness's view. Most likely they're both incorrect).
Notice how Barou and Rin overcame things? That is because they have a real ego. Kaiser doesn't have a "real ego"/sense of self right now, all he has is his selfish act. I believe that is intentional because I think the Blue Lock mangaka shows a good grasp and understanding of psychology. The development is pointing towards him actually getting one during this match we'll see. Hey he might even change and grow as a person if that happens but I wouldn't get too overly optimistic!
Also we need to understand that we only see these people playing football we don't know what the fuck he's like outside of that. I currently don't have any reason to believe he's anything beyond rude and insufferable when like talking to people who aren't his football rivals and in Blue Lock on principle I believe everyone is at least 30% a better more bearable person off the field.
And to finish off my demented rant some of yall are fucking HYPOCRITICAL. So when Isagi takes joy in ruining people's dreams it's fine but when Kaiser does it he needs to kill himself? Let's be very serious.
TL;DR Kaiser's behavior makes total sense, his 261 characterization falls in line with everything we've seen of him before so there's no need for shock, and he looked good being dysfunctional and messed up too

The Arcana HCs: How the M6 lose their temper
Julian
There's a reason the developers said his cardinal sin would be wrath
The only kind of thing that would make him lose his handle on his anger like that would be someone who doesn't value human life
He's not the most physically strong dude, but he didn't survive pirate ships on sheer luck
He's using every weapon at his disposal and that's not limited to whatever swords, scalpels, or leeches he has on hand
Nobody knows how to sway a crowd to his side like he does and he will use that
He'll be bellowing at the top of his lungs, listing every infuriating thing there is to know about this person and exactly what consequences he thinks they should suffer
And because he's good at getting people to listen to him, you can bet he'll drum up a mob of rioters in no time
People aren't afraid of what Julian personally will do to them if he's properly angry, they're afraid of what he'll unleash in the form of every person in earshot
Assuming you spend the rest of your life with him, you'll only see this happen a few times, and each time is easily justifiable
He is one of the most forgiving people by nature. Once justice is done, he'll be right back to his usual self like nothing happened
Asra
It's no secret that they can hold a grudge
He's not the type to harbor ill intent either, malice isn't really his thing, he's got other stuff to focus on
What sets them off is when someone acts selfishly, casting disproportionate harm on other people either for one's own gain or to escape earned consequences
You won't know the moment his temper snaps by his actions, you'll know it by his face
They will be completely closed off. Their only interest will be doing right by the people who were harmed, and making sure the person harming them is incapable of continuing that behavior
He will pursue that end by the most efficient means. If that involves great harm to the person who has angered him, he'll do it. If it involves no harm to the person who has angered him, he'll do it
They lose their temper when they lose any care for the person who crossed their line
This kind of reaction takes a long time to build and a long time to resolve
If you see it coming, you can ask him to talk about it and express his frustration, which will make it easier for him to forgive the wrongdoer if a good opportunity arises
If not, they will never view that person as a worthy human being again
Nadia
She is the definition of feminine rage, you do not want to make her angry
Thankfully, that is a very difficult thing to do
She is one of the most open minded people you'll ever speak to, if there is a set of actions or beliefs that she doesn't vibe with, she'll still seek out the reasoning behind them before she passes judgment
She loses her temper when she sees someone target another person for purely petty and malicious reasons
Someone at the palace kept making vicious remarks about her loved ones because they felt insecure around them? It's over
You could try to insult her ego by calling her petty, but it goes far beyond that if she's truly angry
Every ounce of intellect, drive, and influence she has will be painstakingly strategized into the most effective way to tear someone apart piece by tiny piece
First it's the rumor she influenced Portia to plant. Then it's a missed pay raise. Then it's an increase in rent. It's a never ending stream of situations in which the quality that person was insecure about is on full display. None of it can be traced back to her but she's the only one you know capable of it
She will stop when she either sees her target truly remorseful for their sins, or recognizes the viciousness of her own actions
Muriel
It is highly unlikely that you'll ever see his anger become so dominating that he succumbs to it
He is much more complex and introspective guy than a lot of people give him credit for. His anger is always tied to something more intricate
He's angry about his time in the Coliseum, but he's also betrayed and deeply ashamed and regretful. He's angry about the fate of his parents, but he's also grieving bittersweetly for a community and an identity he thought he'd never have
As a result, you're more likely to see him focusing on the nuance and complexity of the situation and reacting to that instead
It's easiest to tell when he's angry at someone because it's one of the only times he won't try to avoid somebody for a reason that's not positive
If he's hurt or frustrated by someone, he'll avoid them because that's how most people tended to make him feel anyway (before half the city designated him their hero)
But if he's truly, deeply infuriated, he'll come out of whatever space he likes to keep to to ensure that the wrongdoer faces justice
Which requires a wrongdoer causing injustice to more people than just himself
You rarely see him act in anger but it's justifiable each time
He doesn't like confrontation at all, as soon as he is capable of focusing on a different emotional element he's doing that
Portia
She's less of a schemer and more of a "talk with your fists" type of woman
She probably has the healthiest relationship with her own anger of anyone you know, mainly because she doesn't hide or avoid or bottle it up
Her brother crossed a line? Punch to the gut. Someone kept snarking at work when there wasn't time for that? Whack upside the head. A creep was rude or intrusive? Slap across the face
One of the wonderful things about being with her is that you'll never be in the dark about how she feels
Because she's so in tune with expressing her own rage, it's extremely uncommon for it to get the best of her to the point that she's actually lost her temper
That would only happen if the thing that made her so angry was also something she had no solution for and was at the mercy of
Then her response isn't about expressing an emotion, it's a fury-driven obsession with proving that thing wrong or taking back control from it, and everything she is and has will be poured into it nonstop with ferocious intensity
And she won't stop until she's either achieved that goal or until you or someone else has shown her why the initial challenge was baseless
She'll be tired afterwards, but she'll also be herself again and that's what really matters
Lucio
Tantrums. It's canon.
He had tantrums over the things that upset him so often that Vesuvians were putting on plays about it years after his death
Walking through his past with him resolved a lot of that behavior because it became clear that most of his anger was a defensive response to overwhelming fear
Now most of the time he feels one brewing, he knows to talk about it with you or someone he trusts so the fear that causes it can be dealt with
He still indulges every now and then if it's trivial, you know well enough not to be bothered and it's cathartic to let it all out
You'll know he's really, truly angry when he goes silent
This is only likely to happen when someone infringes on something he values very deeply
This is the Lucio that took a fiendish delight in the most violent parts of battle, who abused emotional connections to see more blood in the sand, whose best form of thanks was lifelong imprisonment and isolation, who didn't think twice before sacrificing countless lives for his own gain, who made deals with the Devil
You're the only one who can snap him out of it
He will feel bitter remorse for his reaction, and will take appropriate steps to forgive and to ask for forgiveness

do koltin and kilton fit in your extended demonology lorebuilding? interested what youd classify em as
THEY SURE DO, ANON, THANKS FOR ASKING!
Right so like, BotW/TotK is so incredibly far from the events of my AU, but I have definitely overthought about how the Demon Tribe stuff would fit Kilton and Koltin in.
Firstly though, some Boko Tribe stuff reminders
1) Their advantage is having very plastic physical adaptability <- to account for their wide variety of body types in the different games, encompass all the various subtypes (Moblin, Bokoblin, Miniblin, etc), and explain why they're the only demon tribe that has persisted in any noticeable numbers through the ages. They're just really pro at adapting to new things.
2) They're easily affected/warped by Magicka <- to account for the game's evil Bokos. In this way, they're a result of Malice being overused to control and resurrect them, rather than evil behavior being their norm. Basically they are on the same level of sentience as humans, but exposure to uncontrolled Malice degrades their minds much faster than it would others. It's essentially the flipside to the above plasticity advantage. They're malleable in ways that are both good and bad.
Man, what does this have to do with Kilton and Koltin, Shea?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
✨They have mixed Hylian/Boko heritage ✨
(I always thought the silhouettes here were really similar and wondered if it was intentional, but anyways)
So the headcanon here is that Kilton and Koltin's parents are a non-corrupted blue Boko and a particularly adventurous Hylian. I imagine they're a very sweet couple!!!! Here they are when they were younger.
Tumblr media
I never thought of names for them, they just exist somewhere and probably don't hang out much in towns. (We love a power couple, but this sort of thing is likely to freak out the Hylian locals.)
I like to draw the two brothers with tiny little horn nubs as a nod to this. They don't have full horns and never will, but they probably were very excited for their lil skull bumps to grow like 0.05mm over the years.
Tumblr media
The family would very much be aware of the whole Malice corruption thing. That's why Kilton is so passionate about "monster education" - he knows the corrupt Bokos were once normal people and often just mind their own business in the wilderness, but also knows that it's dangerous for humans to try and approach. So his ventures with his traveling stall and presentations in Tarrey Town are his way of trying to bridge that gap safely.
Additionally, I imagine Kilton and Koltin can travel pretty easily amongst corrupted Bokos, but not bands of Lizal or Lynel. Kilton would have attempted creating masks because of this issue, then afterwards added the various Boko masks for humans to use. (The Magicka is extremely rudimentary, like, barely a Glamour if you're familiar with my magic systems, which is why they fail frequently). And sidenote for monster extract, I think it would be funny if it's just like, a normal ingredient his mom uses and he just puts purple food coloring in it for the Exotic Flair. Like it's just vanilla extract or something lmao.
That was the rambliest possible answer, but tldr they're half-Bokoblin teehee

Yknow, on a retrospective, it is interesting how the COTL fandom puts Narilamb as a devoted and hateful relationship.
In other words, I would actually love to know why we love this ship so much.
I’d love to know your point of view!
I finally have time to answer this!! I am SO GLAD that you asked.
I was extremely interested about the dynamic of this ship, you could watch it from all angles and it would still be a lovable duo; whether it be comedic, overly toxic, unrequited love/devotion, requited romance/devotion, it would still be enjoyable for everyone in the fandom. I believe that there's no bad version on how anyone portrays their relationship!
It's kinda difficult for me to see them in a light-hearted angle. Other people in the fandom have shown this kind of dynamic very well and they have all my applause.
How I portray my vision of narilamb, I still haven't fully fleshed out their story, but basically when Narinder was still a god, Lamb's devotion is for him entirely because they truly thought that The One Who Waits was their saviour and shining grace, handing them down a chance to live once more and avenge their kind. Narinder didn't pay this no mind, then plays the lamb around like a tool, speaking of honeyed words to keep the lamb up on their feet.
And by the time when Narinder told the lamb that he was just using them for his freedom and they'd just die once they surrender the crown to him, everything just came crumbling down to them. The dawning realization that there will be no hope for lamb kind, and that filled them with so much intense emotions they ended up killing Narinder along with his disciples.
Time has passed, Lamb became the new god of Death and continued to serve for their cult. Though they still pray as if there's still any other god be because that's kinda how they cope with all the change. Unaware of the forces that were trying to come back up. Narinder has used up every last drop of his divine magic to resurrect himself with the intention of killing the lamb by his hand and take the crown, but that ended up being a fail so...
Now that Narinder was in the lamb's cult, they feel obligated to watch over him. They think it's really pathetic that the former god is ultimately struggling in the mortal life. One time Narinder tried to run away from the cult and got himself in danger during it so Lamb has to swoop in to save his ass.
“It seems like that you are still in need of me." They said, but there's no smugness in the tone, it's pure disgust and malice. “You don't get to pull the strings anymore, my lord, you're under my domain now.”
I'll make this one very quick bc this is becoming long 😭 So anyway, Narinder (begrudgingly) stayed in the cult because he didn't know how to stay alive in a mortal body, and the more Lamb took care of him, the more dependent he became of them(albeit extremely pissed about that realization and acted aggressively at first then came acceptance that he's hopeless without them), the lamb was aware of this, however thought that this was just another tactic of him to get their guard down, so they pulled the strings so they wouldn't get attached again.
Soon the lamb decided to let themselves get close to him while still being wary, then suddenly became "lovers". Narinder had thought that it was the right course considering how much time they spent with eachother, though hadn't acted on romantic actions. However Lamb thinks that this is just another one of their lovers they have to deal with, so it was still very unrequited.
Then by time it became a requited relationship, unknowingly truly falling for eachother in the process. They somehow know that they're terrible for eachother, but they still work on it. Their devotion for eachother became a devotee to genuine lovers.

I followed you for you game, not to see antisemitic propaganda.
I did not see you condemn hamas in any of your post.
if i've reblogged anything or said anything antisemitic, please tell me. i read the articles before i share them here and do my best to keep an eye out for any potential bias or bigotry, but it's possible i may have missed it. i do also understand anyone that may have been upset by my initial comment about dual citizenship; i regret being as dismissive as i was and i understand the potential malice behind such a comment regardless of my intent, and i appreciate the people that pointed it out to me.
but i'm not sure what me not condemning Hamas has to do with any of that.
you are trying to imply that me not condemning Hamas = me supporting violence = me supporting violent antisemitism, all of which are incorrect assumptions.
i support the Palestinian resistance. yes, this includes Hamas, as well as many other groups. i can think whatever i want about Hamas and still choose to support the resistance, because i understand the bigger picture, which is that Palestinians have been living under a violent occupation for decades, and now 9,000+ people are dead, including 3,000 children, all while Israel continues to block food and water and medical aid and telecommunications, all while Israel continues to bomb refugee camps and schools and hospitals and churches and mosques, all while people on the West Bank are being tortured and murdered - the West Bank, which Hamas does not control. and for some reason you really expect me to condemn the resistance that is actively fighting against the apartheid state that is committing this genocide? have you no shame?
when you ask me to condemn Hamas, what i hear is you asking me to reassure you that, yes, Israeli lives are actually worth far more than Palestinian lives. i hear you asking me to reassure you that the 9,000 dead Palestinians are worth it because at least you will be safe (you will not be, because Israel is a fascist, genocidal state and does not care about you or any Jewish person). i hear you asking me to reassure you that this retaliation is justified because, really, it's Hamas' fault, and they're "bad." this is what you're asking & i will not entertain it.
if you want Hamas gone, the actual answer is to end the genocide and to end the apartheid state. full stop.

@jilymicro-oops March Prompts Day 14: Enthralled
A continuation of yesterday's micro. This will one day make it to AO3 once my internet company decides the website isn't trying to steal my banking information.
The word enthralled is in here somewhere I promise
Here's where we left off:
"Please," he says, "come to my place. You'll be safer there." Lily softens and takes his hand in hers, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "James," she begins soothingly, but her friend interrupts her. "Please." Lily stares at him, registering the real fear and terror in his eyes, and she opens her mouth. "I-" But she doesn't finish, because several loud cracks break through the air around them.
And the continuation is below the cut!!
James counts five Death Eaters surrounding them, three of which he recognizes. Lucius Malfoy is one of them, standing with an air of superiority, his aristocratic features contorted in surprise as he takes in the sight in front of him.
“Didn’t expect to see you here, Potter.” Mulciber says, voice dripping with contempt. James meets his eyes, feeling a surge of revulsion at the look of triumph on the seventh year Slytherin’s face.
“What do you want?” Lily asks loudly, and James has to give her credit for not sounding the least bit scared.
A feminine laugh echoes behind them, and James doesn’t need to turn to recognize it as Bellatrix Lestrange's. "We're here to take care of a problem," she says lightly, her voice dripping with malice. Anger surges through James' veins at her words. He casts a quick glance around, noting the five wands pointed at him and Lily, and his mind races for a solution.
"We have to disapparate," Lily breathes urgently. "I don't have my license, but—" James understands. They can't afford to engage in combat. They’ll lose, and do so spectacularly. There seems to be no way out, not when they're surrounded by so many adversaries. Here they are, two sixth-year Hogwarts students pitted against five Death Eaters, all of whom seem intent on their destruction.
But when he turns to disapparate, grasping Lily's hand tightly, nothing happens.
Laughter surrounds them, and Bellatrix gives a disappointed sigh.
“You didn’t think we’d give Miss Evans an escape route, did you?” She sounds almost bored. “The wards went up the second we arrived.”
James’ heart sinks right to the ground, and he exchanges a glance with Lily. They’re well and truly trapped, then.
“You can go, Potter,” Malfoy drawls suddenly. “We aren’t here for you. Leave the girl to us and you’ll be unharmed.”
“Go to hell,” James snarls at once, and Malfoy shrugs.
“Pity,” he says. “We could have used you on our side. But if you have a death wish like Miss Evans here, who am I to stop you?”
James and Lily have only a moment to spare before the first curse erupts from Malfoy’s wand. The green light misses Lily by mere inches, making contact with Lily’s house instead. The building bursts into hot flames, melting the snow around them. Lily shrieks as glass rains around them from the broken windows, and James casts a shield charm as another beam of light flies towards them.
“Your family!” James yells over the roaring flames, and Lily calls back, firing a jet of red light that hits one of the unrecognizable Death Eaters in the face.
“They’re out! Tuney’s moved in with Vernon and Mum and Dad are in– Expulso!” Lily cries, and the pavement underneath Mulciber explodes, sending him flying through the air. James and Lily stand back to back, spells erupting from their wands, but they’re outmatched. So outmatched. And out of nowhere, Lily screams in pain, crumples to the ground, and James whirls, sees the red light surrounding her and then to Bellatrix’s wand sourcing the cruciatus curse. The woman looks at Lily, enthralled, fascinated and elated at the pain she’s causing her.
His other targets forgotten, James whips his wand to Bellatrix and cries out the first spell that comes to his mind.
"Expelliarmus!" It flies from his wand with a fierce determination, aiming to knock Bellatrix's wand out of her hand. The Death Eater is caught off guard by James's sudden attack, her focus momentarily diverted from torturing Lily. Miraculously, the spell connects, sending Bellatrix and her wand flying across the snowy landscape, the cruciatus curse abruptly stopping. Lily lies on the ground, trembling from the residual pain of the curse, but now free from its grasp.
“Are you alright?” James cries, casting another shield charm as more streaks of light overwhelm them.
“Fine,” Lily grits out, forcing herself upward onto her knees. “I’m fine.”
She’s not fine, James can tell, but at least she’s conscious. She uses him to help her stand, and while she’s shaking, she holds her wand determinedly.
“We can’t fight them like this!” Lily shouts over the roaring of the burning house behind them and the cacophony of spells as they continue to fight. The two of them duck and whirl around each other, firing curse after curse, but there’s still three Death Eaters on their feet, and Lily’s weakened. “We’ve got to break through their– move!”
James reacts a second too late, and a searing pain makes him double over. When he pulls his hand away from his side, it’s coated in scarlet blood.
“Brilliant,” he mutters. “Just brilliant.” Despite the searing pain coursing through his body, James grits his teeth and forces himself to stand upright. "We need to find a way out of here," James says, his voice strained but determined.
“Do you have any ideas?” Lily asks, forcing them both down behind the stone wall surrounding the porch as three green bursts of light streak towards them. James racks his brains, and the idea comes to him through a haze of pain.
“I do,” he says. “But it involves your house being completely destroyed.”
“More so than it already is?”
“I’m sorry about your valuables,” James just says, and when he meets Lily’s green eyes, they’re full of determination. Something about that look sends his will into overdrive and before he can stop himself, he says. “I really do love you, you know. Like, actually.” Lily blinks several times before she responds.
“I love you too,” she says, “but I don’t think now is the best time for a love confession.” James shrugs.
 “Might be the only time.”
“Don’t say that,” Lily snaps, firing a curse between the stone they’re cowering behind. “We’re getting out of this.”
“Right. Okay.” James swallows. “I really am sorry about destroying your house though.”
As James and Lily huddle behind the stone wall, spells continue to rain down around them, each explosion sending debris flying in all directions. James feels the weight of his injuries pressing down on him. Blood still pours from the gash in his side, but he pushes through the pain, his mind focused on their escape.
“Now?” Lily asks, and her eyes shine with unshed tears.
“Now,” James agrees, and points his wand at the building. Lily does the same, and in seconds, the building shakes and moans in the night air and begins to collapse, sending flames in the air. The Death Eaters, momentarily distracted by the sudden chaos, falter in their attack, giving James and Lily the opening they need. Without a moment's hesitation, they break cover and sprint away from the crumbling remains of the house.
James guesses they have about five seconds to get as far as they can before the Death Eaters recover from the sudden act of destruction, and he’s right. Behind them, they hear shouts and curses as the Death Eaters recover,
"We need to find somewhere to disapparate," James gasps as they run, his breath coming in ragged bursts.
“The trees,” Lily wheezes, pointing just ahead of them. “The ones at the park.”
The Death Eaters are only a few meters behind them now, James can hear them, and his fears are confirmed as a sudden burst of purple light streaks through the air, hitting Lily squarely in the back. She cries out in agony, her body convulsing as waves of pain wash over her. James skids to a halt, horror flooding through him as he watches Lily struggle to remain standing.
"Lily!" James shouts, his voice raw with fear and desperation. He rushes to her side, keeps her from falling to the ground, wrapping his arms around her trembling form as if he can shield her from further harm.
But then another spell comes hurtling towards them, this time aimed at James. He barely has time to react as the curse strikes his arm, tearing through flesh and bone with vicious force. Agony shoots through him, and he staggers, his arm going numb as blood pours from the wound.
“We’ve got to get moving,” He says, using his good arm to steady Lily as she stumbles.
“My legs, James,” she says breathlessly. “I can’t–”
“I know,” James replies. “We’re almost there.” They can see the trees. They’re close. “Come on!” James encourages, half carrying Lily as they make for the other side of the street into the park.
They aren’t fast enough, James thinks desperately as the voices of the Death Eaters get closer. What with his mangled arm and Lily being able to barely walk, they won’t reach the grove of trees in time. Curses fly over and around them, bouncing off the shield charm Lily’s holding fast and strong, despite her near inability to walk.
“Just a little farther, Evans,” James says. “Just–” He can tell the second they’ve moved past the wards’ boundaries. It’s like a fog is lifted, like he can finally breathe again.
“Now, James,” Lily croaks, and James doesn’t waste a second. As he falls from sheer exhaustion, James spins on his heel, and the two of them turn into darkness.
They materialize in the quiet, peaceful garden behindJames' home, but there's nothing peaceful about their arrival. They collapse to the ground immediately, the pristine snow around them rapidly staining crimson. Gasping for breath, they kneel in front of each other amidst the chilling air. Lily coughs, her face a mask of soot, blood, and snow, features contorted in pain and exhaustion. Each exhale is a struggle, and the gravity of what has just happened to them settles over the two of them like a weight.
“I think you’ll p–pass your apparition test,” Lily wheezes finally.
James laughs, and it’s the last thing he does before he blacks out.

i've had this thought for a while that the internet has evolved into trying to prevent all conflict or getting upset ever, so the preventative measures completely overtake any thought of how to manage conflict and how to react to getting upset.
other than tone indicators, you can see this with the way people treat content warnings. in some spaces (not just small spaces for friends i'm talking discord servers with hundreds if not thousands of members), their content blacklist for stuff that cannot be posted about at all or has to be censored and tagged with warnings include things like: dogs, pictures of the sky, whistling, loud rap music.
you see this on people's caards with their DNI lists and demands on how to interact with them. i saw a minor with a demand to not talk about friends or people you're close to because it makes them furiously jealous.
that thing you said about tone indicators making it so people assume the default is that you're evil and disingenuous really hits the nail on the head. it's a very cruel way to look at people, thinking the worst of them on a flinch instinct if they don't behave in predictable, acceptable ways that you understand at a glance.
people are so avoidant and afraid of conflict or getting upset that they can't sit with discomfort and will make it other people's problems. it's like people forget that they can walk away from a conversation that's making them upset, or work to manage intense reactions when triggered.
Yeah, absolutely. I don't want to be cruel here, either- I think a lot of these attitudes come from trauma and emotional abuse, and I think a lot of these people are hurting and looking for ways to make themselves hurt less.
And I think what's telling is that these methods that are often being employed in an effort to deal with or avoid emotional abuse, are also simultaneously being employed by emotional abusers, or in emotionally abusive ways.
The cycle of abuse isn't just, like, when someone decides to lash out because they got hurt and now they want a turn, too. It's about the strategies you learn for handling your emotions and relationships- the tools you're given by your environment, and the norms you've been taught. Oftentimes, well-intentioned people who are actively trying to establish a healthier way of being will still buy into emotionally abusive norms and ideas; they're just doing their best with the tools they have, after all.
The ideas behind a lot of these patterns, in my opinion, stem from (what I'm gonna call here) "abuse logic": the flawed system of "logic" used to justify abuse. ex:
If you misunderstand me, it means you don't care, don't "get me", or are otherwise failing me in some way.
If I misunderstand you, it means you are failing to communicate properly.
If you make me uncomfortable, you are doing it maliciously and with intent to hurt me, and you must do everything possible to stop and never let it happen again.
If I make you uncomfortable, no I didn't.
If I feel upset by anything you say or do, it's your fault, and you're probably doing it on purpose, and/or you need to do everything possible to never let it happen again.
If you feel upset by anything I say or do, it's your problem. If you tell me about it, you're trying to hurt me on purpose.
I fundamentally cannot trust you to be acting with good intent.
You MUST trust me in all ways at all times.
The nature of "abuse logic" is that it applies to both parties differently, but the core of the logic will be essentially the same: misunderstandings are a moral failing on someone's part, and discomfort is someone's fault and/or a sign of malice, and must be avoided at all costs.
A lot of these are also coping mechanisms, or become coping mechanisms. You might avoid conflict because it has only ever lead to a fight, you might assume everyone is trying to hurt you because it's safer than trusting people, or you might over-enforce your boundaries because it prevents people from taking advantage of you.
The problem is that because these still rely on "abuse logic" (discomfort as violence, someone is always to blame, assumption of ill intent), abusive behavior can still arise from them. Sometimes it's intentional, but sometimes it's just a product of faulty logic.
Tell me if you've ever seen this happen:
A friend of yours has grown up in an environment that normalized this kind of flawed, unhealthy logic (or an outright emotionally abusive one). They eventually realize that they aren't a bad person who deserves this treatment, and begin to see the hypocrisy: why is it that they're always at fault for misunderstandings, regardless of reason? Why is it that they're the only one who needs to change? Why is it that they can be made to feel guilty, but when they bring up problems with someone else, guilt is violence?
They start to feel more and more empowered as they pick apart these issues, and eventually they're establishing boundaries, trusting their own good intentions, and holding others accountable for their mistakes and mistreatment.
And then it keeps going.
Challenging unreasonable boundaries, or even asking for compromise on conflicting boundaries, becomes a sign of malice. Not only are their intentions good, but they can literally do no wrong. Not only are they holding others accountable, but they are actively looking for mistakes, flaws, and malice in everything everyone else does.
They're genuinely trying to protect themselves (and likely others!) in the only way they know how, it's just that this way is rooted in the same logic that caused their own mistreatment. They don't know another way.
I do really think that what we need to be doing is providing alternative solutions. Sometimes they seem obvious enough that we assume people are doing this out of malice- but that's part of the problem!
So if you're feeling like some of this is a little too familiar: "Conflict" is not always an argument. If you run into a problem (misunderstanding, discomfort, hurting someone or being hurt, etc.) your goal is not to assign blame and guilt. Your goal is to work together, as a team, to find a solution that's reasonable for everyone involved- and then move on.

S from Shadow here. First of all, I want to apologize for my part in the thread killer list. I know the list did damage to the entire UMA community and I think everyone in it deserves an apology for my idiocy. I also want to clarify some things about my role in the thread killer list, because there's some misinformation about me being spread around that I want to clarify.
I did not end up helping with the list. That was all D. I pushed for a longer time for skins to be considered thread killers. 2-3 hours was ridiculous at the time and I pushed for longer. The only thing I did was suggest a spreadsheet and offer to code it.
The reason I did in the first place is because I genuinely thought I was helping the community. I know it sounds dumb, but at the time I thought it was the right thing. I didn't stop to consider the effect it would have on the artists and if I had thought about it for even one second, we wouldn't be here today.
I understand now that what I said and offered to do was stupid and harmful. I'm sorry for all the damage I caused to the UMA community as a whole. I have edited that post where I offered to code the spreadsheet with an apology. I don't expect everyone to forgive me, I just want people to understand there was no malice.
I don't stand for art elitism. I think it's made the art community a toxic place and I try to go out of my way to encourage other artists. I feel like people have been assuming I was trying to be elitist when that wasn't my intent. I understand how what I said could be interpreted that I was and I want to work on that.
I am not friends with S, D, or RW. I don't think I'd really talked with any of them before this and I haven't talked to them since. Please stop calling us buddies. I don't know about the relationship between S, D and RW but I don't know them. I would really like if people would stop acting like I'm as bad as them. They all doubled down on the thread killer list being right, I didn't. They're full ass adults, I'm a minor. If the minor in the situation can admit they were wrong, the adults in the situation sure as hell can. Instead they've chosen to double down and I don't think they'll change their minds.
I've asked SMR to pause posts containing me. You're allowed to hold me accountable and be upset with me for my actions, I get it. However, it's messing with my mental health and that's why I've asked SMR to delete posts mentioning me. As horrible as you may think I am, I don't think what I did was egregious enough to justify severely messing with my mental health.
The idea of the thread itself is flawed. It's fundamentally "I hate this art, so I'm gonna go get another artist's art I like more!" This was inevitable. This thread was always going to be a clusterfuck and Aeq should have just locked it when this issue started. Something similar is probably going to happen again in this thread. The entire idea of this thread is doomed to fail.
Once again, I'm sorry for the damage I caused the UMA community and I understand I'm going to have to face the consequences of encouraging the thread killer list to grow. I just want people to understand my side and understand I didn't do it with malicious intent. I don't speak for S, D or RW. I don't know what their intentions were. I just wanted a chance to apologize and explain my intentions. I feel judged without the chance to explain myself. Thank you for taking the time to hear me out

Okay im sure people have done this before, but its time to mash together the hyperfixations, here's my take on stp Princesses x tma Fears
Title explains it ig, but i just got through the episode where gerry explains the fears to jon, so i dont feel too spoiled to reference the wiki, so here's the fears i think each of the slay the princess routes align with/are avatars of
(for the sake of post length and potential spoilers, pairings are under the cut. also ive color coded them for fun and bc its easier for me to read, i apologize if its straining, i can remove it)
Chapter 2 Princesses:
Damsel - The Stranger - She seems normal, until you dig deeper into who "she" is, and she devolves into a more and more uncanny version of herself until she gets yoinked
Prisoner - The Lonely - This one is weird, because the Princess is pretty resigned in her fate, regardless of what route you take. Having said that, I was torn between Buried and Lonely, but ultimately chose Lonely since Prisoner isn't exactly worried about being trapped (she's okay with both being decapitated and with waiting it out). She feels more Lonely, since her instance is self-inflicted, she had to kill Quiet so they could move on, which in turn trapped her even more than Chapter 1.
Witch - The Desolation - This one is more emotional than Desolation is usually thought of, but the Witch is convinced that after Quiet's actions in Chapter 1 his only intention is to break her down further. Additionally, she's fine with killing him regardless of what that means for her because then it will feel like revenge (unless you guilt trip her lol)
Beast - The Hunt - This one's easy, her entire goal is to eat Quiet lol
Adversary - The Slaughter - This one was also difficult, since many of the Fears are tied to "senseless" killing, and Adversary just wants a good fight. She's more of a mma fighter than a murderer, but her main motivation is still murder, though definitely in more of a human way than an animalistic way, so she went to Slaughter.
Tower - The Web - Her entire thing is manipulation, she doesn't even want to bloody her own hands if she can help it.
Razor - The Slaughter - Unlike Adversary, Razor does find joy in senseless killing, so she fits right in with Slaughter (I did also consider Hunt, but her goal isn't it work down the player, just to stab him) (also this is applied to "No Way Out" and "The Empty Cup" since they're just continuations of Razor and not their own Princesses)
Stranger - The Spiral - i know, it seems like she would go to the Stranger, but she actually knows exactly who she is, just not why. In Chapter 1, she acts more like fractions of herself, her world descending into madness. Her madness leads her to not know who she is, not the other way around (if it was that would lend closer to Stranger).
Spectre - The Lonely - Spectre is one of the least aggressive, and doesn't really align with many of the other fears, but her personal fear is being trapped again after getting so close to getting out.
Nightmare - The Lonely - Like Spectre, her entire motivation is centered in being left behind after being teased with being released, her pre-death monologue is an increasingly more desperate "Let me out," scared of being left behind again (though her outward motivation aligns more with Slaughter, with wanting to spread fear and terror for fun).
Chapter 3 Princesses:
Grey (Burned) - The Desolation - Both for the fire aspect, and the bodily destruction. Burned Grey doesn't really have much malice, but the only thing that she knows is to destroy to try to get what she wants
Grey (Drowned) - The Vast - Unfortunately there isn't really a Fear connected to revenge, so Vast works best with Drowned Grey since its connected to deep ocean. Ironically, it's one of the shallower connections, but Drowned Grey is made up of layers of frustration, betrayal, and anger, which is more like sadness than fear (although she is more unsettling than Burned Grey).
Thorn - The Buried - Thorn is also tricky, since at this point she's basically just tired, not scared or threatening. I've given her to Buried since she is physically trapped, and wants to get out but doesn't trust the Quiet to actually let her out because of their rocky past.
Wild - The Eye - Wild is really the only one that doesn't quite align with a Fear. I was going to assign her to Vast, since Shifty describes her as endless, but I settled on Eye since she is inherently non-aggressive, knows more because she's one with Quiet, and can locate the Narrator when the others aren't aware of him. I guess she also aligns with Slaughter since the only thing she expresses fear of is pain, but a few others get Slaughter, so I've given her to the Eye.
Den - The Hunt - Just like the Beast, but even more. She's only an animal at this point, and her only goal is to kill and eat.
The Eye of the Needle - The Slaughter - Like the Den, (and Razor, to a more direct extent), Needle is an expansion of Adversary, so her goal doesn't change, she's just more focused. This form fits Slaughter a bit more though, since there are some routes where she'll attack you outright.
Fury - The Desolation - Though Fury is also an extension of Adversary, she's more concerned with the means of death than the actual killing (I'm also not keeping her under Web, since she is now going for Quiet directly instead of trying to manipulate him). She doesn't just want to kill Quiet, she wants it to hurt.
Apotheosis - The Web - Unlike Fury, Apotheosis gets to keep Web since she isn't concerned about killing Quiet, but she does now have infinite power. Also potentially The Vast, but that's purely because of her physical size.
Wraith - The Web - While Adversary has the emotional manipulation, Wraith has the physical manipulation. (I also considered The End because I hadn't assigned any Princesses to The End, but this was purely because she's a skeleton, so if you want a Princess a Fear, feel free to associate her with The End).
The Moment of Clarity - The Lonely - Like her prior counterparts, Clarity just craves companionship so inherently that her fear leads her to violence.
Well, that's all of them! To anyone that read through this, thanks! Might end up doing this with the Voices as well, though they would likely end up just aligning with whatever Fear is assigned to the Princess that causes them.
Of the Princesses (to me), none align with The Corruption (though the devs did say that the Stranger started as a bug princess, so i guess she's Corruption in spirit), The Dark, The End, or The Flesh.

Note
Lindsay Ellis actively disavows and dislikes radfems. Re-evaluate yourself.
Any female public figure who cares about her physical safety will disavow radfems (with few very brave exceptions! you know who they are and what they're going thru), if I picked who I like based on who is approving of radical feminism, I'd be left with 3 women I'm allowed to like. I would absolutely hate for all female public figures to be harassed, doxxed, threatened and smear campaigned because they let out they're accepting of a group who puts women before m*n.
That being said, being a radfem is not why I love Lindsay Ellis, I loved her way before I started up my radfem beliefs. I love her because she is incredibly intelligent, witty, insightful, brave, reckless and passionate, I love her because she made media that was so iconic and educative, I watched her videos in awe even without being specifically interested in the subject! She made me interested in things I would never even bother to learn about, because she spoke of them with so much insight and knowledge, it was invigorating and irresistible! She taught me about storytelling, about how movies are made, about 3 act structure of an animated film, why film and musical directors make the kind of choices they do and what they're trying to convey. These are things I would otherwise never seek out in my life!
The thing about Lindsay is that she speaks about these subject with so much confidence and knowledge, it was easily observable that she is better equipped and better fit to speak on it than any m*n who was also trying to speak on the subject. She also has better sense of humor than any m*n on youtube. I sometimes still think of some of her one-liners in real life and burst out laughing.
She is one of the very rare women who dared to speak confidently, passionately, on a topic that is male-dominated, that is highly valued and supports a rich industry that m*n usually bank on - she dared to out-do them in every aspect of it, and be a woman online, who makes jokes, has fun, and doesn't back down when being stepped on. She presented not only a strong inspiration to any other woman wanting to speak on academic, Hollywood, movie-producing and video-essay making topic, but a threat to any m*n she proved to do it better than. For the crime of doing that, she had to be erased from youtube, and it's a loss for women above all. This does not happen to prominent m*n who make jokes on the internet - not even if they go as far as admit they're rapists and pedophiles, not even if there's a recorded history of racism, fascism, bestiality, violence. She got cancelled for a tweet that compared one movie to another, with zero ill intent or malice. The same sentence made by any m*n, would be supported and extremely well liked - and she found this to be the case too, when m*n made the same comparison, they were very well liked for it.
Cancelling Lindsay Ellis was a message to all of us, to what will happen if we relax a little and speak confidently and make money while making jokes and educative, incredible useful and passionate content online. She was one of the best on youtube and they're showing us what will happen to rest of us if we dare to be so good we pose a threat to them, and inspiration to other women.
I miss her so much. One final reason I love her is her hair. Her hair looks like a normal human hair and every single time I saw her, I felt so much better about my hair looking exactly the same. I wish every woman just came online on video with hair like that!!!! That is how it should be.
Lindsay Ellis did not deserve what she was put thru, and no woman who was put thru any of that deserved it either. I don't care if those women are in support or opposed to radical feminism, I love all women. Lindsay made me laugh and made me learn and get interested and inspired like few other women did. Her way of storytelling and putting together an essay was unique and so highly enjoyable, she was the first to do it! With her segments she did like news reports, it made me think of the old times and television and it felt so good. I am already seeing it stolen by the male youtubers. They're the only ones that benefited from the situation.
I don't want to lose any more prominent women, I want us all to defend them with all our might when they're attacked by the mob. Let's make cancelling women prohibited. Only m*n should be cancelled - and all of them should be.

Fell verse
I apologize for not making any art before this. I had to take a few mental health days because I had a bad day. So here. I believe there's more to Underfell than just making everyone evil. It's somewhat also a swap AU. Instead of Flowey having the "Kill or be killed" attitude it's everyone else. So that's what I'm going to do. I will be swapping details of the story instead of characters. I won't be doing that with all of them. Some will just be the character but more aggressive, but when I can I will. I'll try to make this as detailed as possible.
Fell Nightmare is Malik. Name inspired by the name that means king (I considered Rex but it was taken). Dreamtale, but what if Nightmare's bully wasn't the villagers, but instead his own brother. The villagers still don't like him but they've never physically done anything to him. Dream is the bully that will actually hurt Nightmare. In private. Fell Dream doesn't do anything to Nightmare in front of the villagers and Nightmare doesn't say anything because he doesn't want the villagers to hate him too. One day Nightmare has enough and it all comes out. But surprise surprise no one believes that the "innocent Dream" can do any harm. So Nightmare just snaps. Unlike Nightmare where you can sort of argue that he cares about his gang and maybe has some remourse for Dream, Malik is not like that. He sees Fell Dream for who he is and only keeps his members around because they're a source of negativity. His Salt equivalent is Malice. Name inspired by the word that means ill intent.
Fell Error is Malware. Name inspired by malicious software. His Salt equivalent is Macabre. Name inspired by the word that means horrifying arts (How ironic).
Fell Cross is Xavier. Name inspired by X. His Salt equivalent is Xanthic. Name inspired by X.
Fell Dust is Ash. Name inspired by the residue. His Salt equivalent is Axe. Name inspired by the weapon.
Fell Killer is Slayer. Name inspired by the word that basically means the same thing. His Salt equivalent is Slasher. Name inspired by the word that basically means the same thing.
Fell Horror is Butcher. Name inspired by the profession. His Salt equivalent is Burden. Name inspired by the fact it also starts with "Bu".
Fell Dream is Shangria. Name inspired by the word Shangri-La. Dreamtale, but instead of the villagers being a bully, it's Shangria. Shangria is a huge a-hole to everyone around him, but everyone still loves him for some reason. His Salt equivalent is Soprano. Name inspired by the form of song.
Fell Ink is Ichor. Name inspired by the word that means blood. His Salt equivalent is Indigo. I don't know.
Fell Blue is Huckle. Name inspired by the berry. His Salt equivalent is Hollow. Name inspired by the fact it's similar to Huckle.
Fell Swap is Vassal. Name inspired by the word that means a subordinate. Stretch is the one that orders Swap around and treats him like a slave. Vassal is a weakling. His Salt equivalent is Vanilla... I don't know.
Fell Ccino is Garita. Name inspired by margarita, the cocktail. Ccino, but if he was a bartender instead of a barista. He has pet dogs and a wolf hoodie. His Salt equivalent is Garnet. Name inspired by the stone.
Fell Geno is Mass. Name inspired by massacre. His Salt equivalent is Mania. Name inspired by the word that means mental illness.
Fell Reaper is Hades. Name inspired by the god of death. His Salt equivalent is Harpy. Name inspired by the mythical creature.
Fell Fresh is Punk. Name inspired by Punk subculture. Punk is very similar to a punk rockstar. His Salt equivalent is Probe.
Fell Science is Biology. Name inspired by the study of living things. Biology is like a mad scientist. His Salt equivalent is Bionic. Name inspired by the word that means electromechanical.
Fell Ivan is Mongrel. Name inspired by the term for mutt. Ivan but if he wasn't feral.
Fell Midnight is Nebula. Name inspired by the galaxy. Midnight but if she wasn't shy.
Fell Chip is Static. Name inspired by the radio noise.
Fell Zany is Bane. Name inspired by the word that means distress. Zany but if he actually was evil.
Fell Domino is Casino. Name inspired by the place.
Fell Pitaya is Pomegranite. Name inspired by the fruit.
Fell Honeydew is Apricot. Name inspired by the fruit.
Fell Constellation is Eclipse. Name inspired by the event. Constellation but if she actually was nice.
Fell Casper is Shikari. Name inspired by the word that means hunter.
Fell Desire is Risque. Name inspired by the word that means suggestive.
Fell Dread is Miasma. Name inspired by unpleasant vapor. Dread but if she wasn't devoid of emotion.
Fell Scarlet is Crimson. Name inspired by the shade of red. Scarlet but if she wasn't nice.
Fell Abstract is Acrilyc. Name inspired by the material. Abstract but if he liked to destroy stuff instead.

I know I haven't played a pokemon game in a while but god DAMN is the Scarlet/Violet final boss cool.
Like, you've known since like minute two that something is up with Professor Sada / Turo, but you get down to the bottom of this huge canyon expecting oh, the professor made a robot clone of their mind but it went cRaZy and the real professor is tied up somewhere. No.
The robot professor, it turns out, was the rational one of the two of them, watching as the person in whose image it was created slips further and further into obsession. It turns out that everything good you've seen in the AI Professor, THAT was the machine. The real Professor has been deeply bitter and increasingly misanthropic, extending way, way back into Arven's childhood, and maybe even before.
Said real professor is dead. Like, dead-dead. Real human dead. Not only that, they were murdered trying to protect one -raidon from another, one that attacked with full intent to kill. Was this a last, selfless act? Or was the professor so devoted to their work that they would die to protect it? We never get that context. It's gone. Have fun in therapy, Arven.
So then the AI Professor leads you to the time machine, looks you straight in the eye, and says, "Can I say 'you have to kill me' in a pokemon game? No? Aight, cool, so to shut down the time machine, I need you to 'not' kill me. Because I'm gonna try to 'not kill' you first."
And then they get lifted 200 feet into the air on a spire of glowing onyx beneath what I can only describe as a technological halo of malice, and they just start breaking the rules of pokemon. Like, they don't get down there and challenge you, ooh, I'm gonna fight ya for the future of poketmans. They stand on the prow of a pitch black heaven and drop living paradoxes on you. You typically get 1, maybe 2 master balls per game; Sada/Turo has an unending supply, perpetually pouring from the godseye above them. They don't even throw them. They just open their hand and let this rain of high-level pokemon fall out.
This is not a pokemon battle. This is you, an insect, being crushed by an uncaring god.
You get the feeling that, were it not hardcoded in by some earlier version of the professor who still had some respect for pokemon tradition, there's no way the possessed AI Professor would respect the 'only 6 pokemon' rule. And they don't! You somehow beat the odds, and you get all of five seconds to think you did something before the Paradise Protection Protocol kicks in and starts the battle right back up again.
And locks your pokeballs shut.
And sends out the -raidon that, as was previously established, has killed a human being before.
This is my favorite part of this fight, because up until now, we've been acclimating to the twist that the real Professor was deeply selfish, to the point of all but abandoning their own child.
Right before the fight, the AI Professor explains that they're going to get overpowered by the security system when you try to shut down the machine. Given the real Professor's obsessive nature, you're led to associate the security system with some remnant of the real professor, and once it takes over, the game starts getting fucky about the identity of the mind in the robot. Is this AI Turo/Sada, but with their free will turned off? Turo/Sada's mind imprinted over the robot's? Some weird emergent mind from the main computer?
Right after you beat the first fight, the 'fair' fight, you get this moment where the roboprofessor is glitching out hard, and its name changes from "AI Sada / AI Turo" to "Professor Sada / Turo?" RIGHT as it starts to express feelings, real feelings toward Arven, look how tall he's gotten, how proud of him they are. We can't know how the real professor felt about their son, but its all the things Arven always wanted to hear. Is it the robot, trying to be kind? Confused? Or is this a fragment of the real professor's mind bleeding through?
But at the same time, the Paradise Protection Protocol kicks in, which is also implied to be some sort of mind-imprint from the Professor, and tries to kill all four of the main kids to ensure the safety of the Professor's machine.
So, we've got two machines, both of incomprehensible power, fighting over the fate of time itself, and each one set up to be a reflection of a person we will never meet.
Which one do you think the professor was most like?
