I think it’s just me, but one of the fun parts of Pjo was when the trio would go into each situation and trap, not knowing what was about to happen and tried to find their way out with creative ways and being little shits. It was like solving puzzle and little me liked the book series so much for this.

But now the show is portraying the trio like little know-it-all’s and it’s taking the fun out of the quest, it’s not a puzzle anymore, you don’t have to solve anything and thus there is no suspense. Every situation is solved (before it starts) so there’s nothing exciting to keep you watching. It’s just people talking and giving information.

I want to see more Trafalgar Law with religious trauma in fan fics, those Flevance's scenes of the nun telling him about hope and helping hands, only to be killed in the next scene along with all the children in his classroom in front of the cathedral is strong, carries a lot of meaning and a cruel feeling of being abandoned, if God is there watching everything that happens to me why would he let such a kind soul die in a brutal way like this?

The atrocities that took place in that city would make a skeptic of a saint and Law has always been a science person, can you imagine the guilt that can carry? Had he believed more would they have been saved? But the sister believed and look what happened. If he prayed more would his little sister have escaped too? These doubts coupled with resentment would make a good combination for a fic about religious trauma.

akira is kind of sentimental, so he has a hard time letting things go. anything that was gifted to him, something he got during a memory he likes (a trinket, a shirt, etc) — if it has "sentimentality" value, he will keep it. this had snowballed into a sort of hoarding lifestyle. it is difficult for akira to throw things away.
