I’m on a ladies of Sandman appreciation kick and currently delving into:

Dream x Lucienne

Morpheus x Calliope

Hob x Eleanor

# 2, 4, and/or 7

And really, I’ll read anything with these characters that isn’t romantic. Feeling like there’s a lack of character studies/gen fics on these ladies. And I’d pair Johanna Constantine or her ancestor with pretty much anyone.

Oh marvellous! I fully support some Sandman ladies loving! You rarely see such a host of amazing female characters in one show/comic. And sadly they do often play second fiddle when it comes to fics and ships.

2.Do you ship them?

So let's see, Dream x Lucienne.

It's not on my personal ship list. But I can easily see the appeal and would happily read fics for it. Nearly every Dream ship is about giving him someone loyal and true, who will love and believe in him no matter what. A stalwart supportive type who will stand up to him for his own good when need be. Well... (pushes Lucienne forward). There she is. You don't have to get creative with Lucienne to prove it either. She is, always has been and always will be that being for Dream. To paraphrase her. When she says Dream is never without his raven. On a whole deeper meaning, he never has been. She has NEVER abandoned him....You know I'm think I'm talking myself into this ship. 😅

Dream x Calliope and Hob x Eleanor.

I've put these two together because my answer is the same for both. Are they my favourite parings for these characters, no. But do I ship them... Absolutely! These canon lady loves deserve their realtionships explored in greater detail! The only women in their long lives, Hob and Dream went so far as to wed and start families with. How spectular these women must be!

I cannot describe what an absolute tower of strength and beauty I find Calliope. And Eleanor, when you consider how much of huge risk it would have been for Hob to settle down to that extent. He must have seen something truly special in her. I'd love to see these two realtionships explored further.

4. Would I consider writing for them?

If the mood takes me, I'm pretty sure I'd have a bash as writing for any ship. 😅 But the history enthusiast in me would love to delve into the two marriages, especially Hob's. To explore the late Tudor/ Elizabethean period.

7. What are some good fics...

Ah now, if I don't ship it, I can usually hand you over to someone who does. 😅 For Dream x Lucienne recs I shall hand you into the capable hands of @lucienne-thee-librarian. I have just read the most beautiful fic here on Tumblr by @two-hands-toward-the-sun about Morpheus and Calliope which is platonic but heart meltingly good. If I ask very nicely they might tag it. 😅 Have Hob and Eleanor ever been explored outside of side notes for other ships? If you find anything, please let me know. I'd love to read them!

And my god you're right! Johanna Constantine has truly missed her calling as the disaster bi, fandom bicycle she was born to be!

You know what fandom trope annoys me for No good reason? When you have to Teenage characters that get shipped and all the aged Up Art is them being married with Kids

Like objectively there's nothing wrong with it and it has a Ton of opportunities for cool stuff Like fun character designs for the adult Versions or their Kids plus asking yourself what their parenting Styles would be what they would Name their Kids and how many they would have

Like there really is some fun to be had there but unfortunately there is a Grinch that lives in my head and gets annoyed that somehow every realtionship needs to end Up with the characters getting married and having children or whatever

Am honestly so tired of crying/stressing over Landon honestly, in the show they treat Landon like shit !!! And am gonna blame the writers, Landon as soo much potential to be a great character (he already is don't get me wrong) but look at how aria played malivore badass malivore so why can't we get a badass Landon too + his phoniex side??.. There is Soo many more instresting plotlines and storylines Landon could get and one that doesn't involve him dieing every second, using him as a meat suit or wrapped up in realtionships all the time ( I love handon Soo much don't get me wrong) but Landon as soo much potential outside of it all...

Nobody cares about Landon both the writers and other characters (expect for hope & raf) and it shows alot through them, if the writers don't like how they write Landon's character or even like Landon at all why not just re adjust his Character (not saying they should change his personality on how he cares about others even if they don't care about him or how he would risk his life for others) but at least write him a little better they fcked up his character from the very beginning and it's even worst in season three they didn't even show what Landon went through in the prison world and he was gone a whole season🤦 but the writers lazy enough to even care🤦..

My heart hurts Soo much where Landon is concerned and I honestly can't take it, he's gonna be in season 4 he's in 4x06 he anit gonna die for good, Dani said handon is gonna be on a pause and there's gonna be a readjustment period where they might have to find there self out of the relationship but it won't. Be forever. so during that pause I want them to actually grow is character explore him a little bit more give him some storylines etc then both hope and Landon can come back stronger than ever.. Brett said this season is gonna be darker so they need to drop the childish mentally when it comes to Landon because all they doing with is character is Soo fcking childish, it's time for maturity now you understand??.. in 4x06 he's gonna get a supprise visitor only people I can think of from the top of my head is his mom, Clarke or raf whoever it is Landon needs time for himself...

They even doing more for Cleo's character than they did for Landon's the whole show and see they even showing what Cleo is going through in the darkness which we didn't even get to see with Landon and it's sad, it's all obvious there tired of Landon's character so why not just write him off then ( tho that shit would hurt my soul even more ) but am just tired!!.. they bring new characters in like finch and Ethan and when they get them for what they need is like they don't remember there in the show there's no storyline or plotlines there just there🤦.

Landon gets hate outside of the show for stupid reason sometimes it's all because he's in the way of there ship.. So I try my best to stay on the handon side of the nation where there's majority of them some under quit but there's alot of handon's and you all love Landon so you get less negativity there when it comes to Landon...

I only watch the show for both hope and Landon as a couple and as individuals and if they keep treating him like this I don't think am gonna be able to continue watching cause my heart honestly can't take it 😭...

Me too, and seriously, the way they treat Landon is sick. And yeah, I already think Landon is a great character, I don’t need him to be a badass (though I’m not opposed to it), and I would love to see him with his phoenix side again. They really have completely wasted so many opportunities for Landon. And the thing is that they had these incredibly interesting storylines for him all set up that would’ve been amazing to see and they did nothing with them. Landon was in Malivore, which we could’ve seen more of, but they only chose to show him dealing with the Necromancer (which was better than nothing, but still). Then they show him having to do something he’d never do and beating up the Necromancer in order to escape. Then he’s trapped in the prison world and gives this whole speech about how he’s gonna get himself home no matter what it takes. And then they show NONE of it! It was the perfect storyline for Landon for s3, where they could’ve shown him learning how to fight and survive on his own, and who knows what he had to do to escape and how it changed him or affected him mentally and emotionally. There was just SO much, it’s still insane to me that they threw it out the window. And then the fact that he escaped but also somehow got possessed, which we still don’t know exactly how or when that happened. And then he was possessed for weeks, Malivore was hiding doing who knows what, and they don’t go into any of it? And they could’ve been showing Landon inside his mind this whole time too. Why are they not letting Landon participate in the fight against Malivore when he could be fighting him mentally? It’s just... it’s crazy. And they could also be focusing on his trauma as well, which could be another really interesting and important storyline for him and something they definitely need to do once he’s free, but you know they still won’t even address that after all of this. And then of course his phoenix side is a whole other thing they could explore too, actually explaining the details of what he is and what it all means, but once again, they do nothing. You’d think as writers they’d want to explore all these things, but no. So they actually have had amazing storylines for Landon, the issue is the fact that they didn’t actually show any of them. So it’s basically for nothing, at least in regards to Landon himself and his own growth and character arc. He literally had the most interesting and significant storyline in s3 that he might end up having in the entire show but it’s like the writers did everything they could to avoid showing any of it on screen. Because they clearly don’t care about him and have made the characters not care about him as well. And who knows if it’s even about them not liking how they write him, I mean, they’re the ones in control. So it’s their own fault if they don’t like him, it’s their responsibility, but they’ve done this all on purpose and who has a clue why? It feels like they’re just trying to appease all the haters, honestly. I’ve never seen anything like this before in any show, with them treating the male lead this way. But I think Landon as a character is written well, I don’t think they’ve screwed his character up. I think it’s the fact that they’ve neglected him almost entirely, his whole s3 storyline, his trauma, his growth (which we know he surely must have had), everything basically. So, to me, it’s not so much that they have to write Landon as character better, they just need to actually SHOW the story they have written for him and how that’s impacted him as a character.

So yeah, I feel you, I really can’t take all that they’ve done to Landon either. It’s definitely painful to see. And yeah, he’s in 4x06, but we also know he’s in 4x05 as well. So we know he won’t be gone for good, but yes, Handon will have a pause for whatever reason. And I agree, I hope they’ll do something to actually focus on Landon during the pause. I think he’s already grown and he’s already had more storylines but again, we just didn’t see any of it. If they were gonna do it right, they’d somehow go back and explore what happened in s3, in flashbacks or something. I think it’s so crucial for Landon’s character and to know what happened to him and what he went through. And then also focus on his mental health and his healing and recovery, while also hopefully exploring his phoenix side eventually as well. But I feel like we’ll be lucky to get any of that tbh. I’m not expecting anything at this point. Maybe his phoenix powers, if anything, but I feel like they’re gonna continue to pretend like nothing happened to him in s3. And it really is childish mentality, they don’t wanna address or explore anything that’s actually important regarding Landon. I seriously wanna know what goes on in that writer’s room... And yes, I guess Landon will get a surprise visitor. I just wanna know where on earth Landon is even gonna be after 4x04? Will be dead again and come back? If not, why would he be away from Hope? But yeah, I think it would make the most sense for the visitor to be Raf or Clarke or Seylah. But this is Legacies, it could be Santa Claus for all we know. 🙄 But I do hope that they’ll give Landon time to heal after all he’s been through, and that they’ll actually acknowledge that he’s been through something.

And ikr? They’ve done more for Cleo in this short period of time than they’ve done for Landon in 3 seasons. And yep, they’re actually showing Cleo in Malivore while completely ignoring Landon, who is literally possessed by Malivore and has been for how many weeks? Not that they’ll acknowledge his suffering at all. I just— it’s truly infuriating. But NO, I would not be able to handle them writing off Landon’s character. I’m tired too, believe me, but that would just make it all tons worse. Then it would just be done and over with no chance of anything good ever happening for Landon. And I get what you mean about other characters they add to the show as well, they just don’t explore other characters well at all and it is as if they’re just there? It feels like the writers don’t know what to do with the characters so much of the time, it’s very odd.

And yes, there’s been so much hate for Landon in the fandom for so long, and for the dumbest reasons, mostly just because of ships. I try and just stay on the Handon side of the fandom as well to avoid the Landon negativity, so that does help.

But same, I only watch the show for Hope and Landon as well. So it just makes it worse when they treat Landon how they do. That, plus where things have been going with Handon, it definitely makes me feel like I can’t watch anymore because it’s so disappointing. But I also feel like I’m always gonna want to at least see Landon, but it might be even more painful, idk. I guess we’ll see how it goes, but I understand where you’re coming from!

First impression

Truth is, I've always been thouroughly spoilered about chritical role, even when wasn't watching it yet, so my first impression was mostly, "Uh, pink cowman!" Followed later when I started by "I'm excited for the fluffy cowman, but also Mollyyyyyyyyyyy".

Impression now

I love him. Just. So much. I want to hug him. I want to drink his tea. I want him to tell me it's gonna be fine. Just. Give me more of him please. Taliesin, how do you keep doing this to me? Caduceus is also literally the only representation of an ace character I have ever seen and it makes it so much better I just can't love him. I don't care if some people think it's word of god. (Though there might be a talk about it some point? Maybe? I don't know I'm only at episode 80 something.) And it's such good rep too! I'm so excitded for his Trent talk.

Also how has no one made art of blowdried Caduceus yet? He is a cowman! Give me a fluffed up Caddy! There is a fic though which very is cute. (Nevermind I found one! I need more though 👀)

Favorite moment

I don't think I can choose, he has so many good lines. "I only have like, three cups." "He'll be dead eventually." "Sleep well with your bad decisions." "I met a ghost who I didn't want to punch. " "I'm always happy when they're here." I'm always a sucker for angst so him getting resurrected was also great. Also the Trent speech of course, but technically I haven't seen that one yet.

Idea for a story

Not really any to be honest. You'd think I'd jump to write fics about him but I don't really have any inpiration for that. Maybe once I'm done with the show I'll get to filling eventual needs I still have.

Unpopular opinion

I'm not really in fandom so to speak, so I don't really know what's popular and what not, I just personally wish people wouldn't write romantic ships with him. And no, I don't care if you try to justify why this aroace character is now in a relationship or having sex or whatever, you have so many characters to ship, you can leave this one alone. I'm not gonna start any fights with someone or anything, and Ao3 let's you filter tags for a reason but I do want to put it out there. Also, I want these people really think about how they would react to someone writing straight fics for a gay character. Just really think about it. Yeah, taking away rep suddenly doesn't seem so nice, does it? So please leave mine alone.

Okay my rant is over now, I just had to get this out of my sytem. I haven't a lot ship fics anyway, but there are a few and I'm dissapointed every time.

And I guess I'd also wish for more fics of him? Just without shipping. And there are some good ones, don't get me wrong! But it really seems that some people have decided if they can't ship him they're just not gonna write him. I'm not judging anyone in perticular here and nobody has to feel called out or anything! Nobody has an obligation to write a character or anything they have no interest in writing. It's just a larger trend that makes me personally kind of sad.

Favorite relationship

I love his realtionship with every one really! I feel like Fjord would be the basic answer, but if I really have to choose I'll say Melora. I'm always a sucker for cleric relationships and there are so many lovely takes and art out there. Also "Mom, put it back!" is one of the greatest comics I've ever seen. xD

Favorite headcanon

Not sure I really have one. Aside from the fact that he definitely gets fluffy when properly dried. That is fact though, no one can deny me this. Fluffy cowman for the win!

(As a side note for anyone reading this, if you have some angsty comfort fics for Caduceus, please feel free to send me the link, I need some more therapy for this man. He alwas tries so hard for everyone else, he deserves some attention too.)

disclaimer - euphoria s2 spoilers! so please don't read if you haven't watched the first 3 episodes. Talk about violence, trauma suicide, addiction and nudity.

thoughts below cut !!

okay so i was thinking of doing these for the first four episodes but decided that three was better because there is a lot going on!

Jules / Rue / Elliot :

As much as I love them (rue/jules), they really shouldn't be in a relationship, they need a lot of work on themselves because they bring out things in each other that are not good.

I don't really know how to feel about elliot, I don't necessarily think he is bad, but he definitely is not a good influence in rue. We don't have a lot to say about him, so I just don't have my mind made up about him. (Felt some vibes with him and jules at the end of ep3).

I HATE rue at the moment, am sorry, but you are really gonna gaslight your sister into thinking you're going to kill yourself just so you can do drugs, lie to your girlfriend about your addiction, bring a suitcase full of drugs to an NA meeting where people are vulnerable to that and insult and offend Ali with something private he shared with you about his addiction and expect me to be okay with you ?? nah. I know she is sick (because being an addiction is a disease) but they way she is acting is horrid and she is going to hurt a lot of people.

Jules deserves everything, and am so sad for her because she knows something's up with rue but is being lied to. On another note am loving her style this season she looks beautiful !!

Maddy / Cassie / Nate :

The whole maddy/cassie/nate thing is messy and i hate every second of it because I think my girls deserve better than nate fucking jacobs.

With that said I am so upset with cassie, i get that she has trauma and seeks validation from men, but that doesn't excuse her actions (only explains them), out of all the men your going to fuck your best friends ex ??? like that doesn't make sense to me and yeah in the first episode she was drunk and easily persuaded but the fact that she carried on doing it behind maddy when she had the opportunity to end it is just awful, and she knows it in the back of her mind. And am not in any way gonna defend nate because he is just awful all around and has zero loyalty to anyone but himself but I didnt expect the betrayal from her. Like she saw the abuse first hand that maddy was going through and she still went and put herself in that situation, am just so angry at her.

I do have a soft spot for maddy I relate to her (and kat&lexi) the most, she has mistakes and wrongs as well don't get me wrong but i can understand her better in a way. I really really hope she doesn't get back together with nate and go back to the cycle of abuse because is really easy when is all you know, so am just hoping my girl finds a way out of it. Also like the bits of friendship we are getting with her jules and kat <3 and the babysitting scenes are really wholesome and gives us other side to her.

Fez / Lexi :

love them love them. think they are really cute together even though i don't really know how that relationship would work but so far am ship them so hard and are the two characters that haven't pissed me off at some point during the whole show (s1&2).

Fez doing the lords work and beating nate was cheffs kiss apart from that he is all around very nice tbh pretty chill just minding his business.

Lexi, i was longing for more of her character and with ep3 i fell they are really giving more of her by separating her from only being cassies sister or rues friend

So pure so amazing hopefully her play goes well and fez comes to see it :)

Kat :

kat is struggling to understand who she is and same tbh, the scene of "self-love" was an amazing way to portray how social media and society makes you feel.

the whole realtionship with ethan is shaky , I liked them in s1 and still do but I also understand how kat is feeling which inevitably affects her relation (kinda fell bad for ethan because kat is not communicating her problems so he is kinda clueless)

also the effect of fan fiction, writing and reading it at a young age and how it affects her expectations of sex and love are definitely a big issue because she is imaging an unattainable version of what her relationship should look like based on fantasy, and it's never gonna look like that especially in highschool.

want to see more of her i feel like the been cutting her time in the show and i dont like it ! read it was because of a discussion between barbie and sam which i find foolish

Okay so I just got back from a carnival, and the second I got home I thought “Vamp1rate definitely sent me an ask” and you did!! We’re linked!! And I’m psychic!!! Season 4 of Angel really went “lets give the fans the WORST love triangle possible. Racism and incest, definitely what the people want.” But you are SO right, Angel is at his best when he’s just some dumb pretty boy doing whatever it is he does. I do like it when Cordy bosses Angel around and think they have a really nice dynamic friendship wise, but the way Cordy’s character and personality is completely diminished in Season 4 is too linked with her realtionship with Angel for me to every fully ship them. Cordy can do better tol. Like a prince, or a Rockefeller, or any woman. As for the love triangle, is does get worse. I know you might thing it impossible, but it does become more incestous. Big Shocker, but my favorite Hitchcock movie is Rear Window, closely followed by Strangers on a Train.

If Mcfcker really believed Melwood was getting divorced / are divorced, he wouldn’t need to comb through every pic and video, analyzing them for “signs.” I think it’s time we stopped indulging him and the other smelties when it comes to the divorce narrative. If Mel and Chris are separated, we’ll find out in due time. But I really doubt they are. In the meantime, let the psychos live in their smeltie dreamworld that will never exist in real life. I’m tired of speculating about a celebrity couple’s personal lives and I’m tired of letting a handful of truly pathetic scs make people think they know any effing thing about Mel and Chris’ lives. Seriously imagine: you hate someone and spent x hours every day on social media to find "evidences" that confirm your headcanons taken out of your ass. Also, you need time to think about that headcanons. The time to find the pics (going to KM/MW's accounts to look for them). Writing it down. Posting. Commenting with equally disgusting people. Like....?

I don't like Dj0kovic and what do I do? I avoid looking at him and searching for him :))) I always thought this is a normal behavior :) And here we have smelties :)

I mean, of course we don't know a SHIT about the celebs lives, their private lives especially, it's like what, 1%? But the point is, we as a fans are positive about them, we are happy they are happy and wish them all the best. And we are ok with their life decisions (don't get me wrong, we have no rights to say a shit about their life decisions, but I mean we simply flow with them and simply accept them as a facts).

Of course, there are lines that should be not crossed and there are idiots here too.

But the point is, all what they do is wishing the actrors harm (yes, HARM - speculating about Mel being in an another abusive realtionship and wishing her going through another divorce is wishing her to be hurt and upset for MONTHS and that's a fact), because of something what they WANT. And it's all based on another fact they don't like a fictional ship and fictional character and they moved their hate on people who were/are innvolved with that FICTION. They would have never ever spared Chris a thought if he hadn't played Mon-El. Maybe if MW had met under different circumstances and married they would have hated him but not that much. He would have been an obstacle for smeltie, but that's it. Now he is obstacle for smeltie and sc and that's the crime against humanity for them.

It's so fucked up I seriously can't sometimes.

I appreciate you for assuming that because i do love reading fanfictions i just wish i could read more because i currently don’t have too much time in between school and writing myself which is sad hm

My opinion on platonic realtionships that’s an interesting ask!! I really do love romantic fics but every once in a while i love me some good ass brotp and I think the last one i read was ‘I think you’re my best friend’ by Emmybazy on Ao3 (can recommend it was really really amazing to read just an unexpected ending but the whole fic makes up for it i thought about that fic for like three weeks afterwards :’) ) i haven’t really read a fic about a purely platonic ship i think? It’s rather rare ig

Well if you’re talking about platonic relationships in genereal in fics then i’d say that they can really add to a fic because they make it all more authentic and takes the focus from the main couple so that it’s not always full-on the whole time yk what i mean? Also makes the characters more authentic because you have romantic and platonic interactions which shows different sides of the character (i’m not sure if this is what you asked if not feel free to ask again) but yeah

When did you join the IT fandom? And what got you into fandom, to begin with?

Actually 23 years ago (haha I am old XD) When I was eleven I saw the miniseries with my cousins for the first time. The horror factor wasn't that important to me or maybe I didn't see it that way. It was more like an adventure story with an unfunny and nasty clown. A group of friends who had to endure an adventure. In any case, it entertained me well, even if I was not aware of some elements like that it’s a story about growing up, friendship, love and all these issues around becoming an adult XDD Then with 13 I read the book. It was a new experience, and I loved every single word. Over the years I talked with friends and Kingsianer (XD) about it and read it for a second and a third time. At this point I could start a list with things I don’t like about the movies, but I’d rather mention on thing I really appreciate about them: they are a good opportunity for a new generation to explore this universe. Every adaption like the book itself is a reflection of a specific decade and what is more yeah… immortal, universal and diverse than a story about growing up. It was a discussion with a dear friend about book to movie adaptions some weeks ago that probably brought me back to this fandom

Nevertheless there are things from the book I would have loved to see in the movies. Let’s be honest at this point if you want to adapt such a brick of a book you simply have to cut some elements. You can’t please everyone

What are your favorite ships, or characters, if any, and why? What do they mean to you?

Ships:

Stanpat - orz q__q they are such a sweet couple and it is so heartbreaking, they never ever had a real chance to become parents. They would have been excellent parents. Imagine them on a beautiful summer day. They have a picnic with their children and Stan would watch birds with them. He would tell them all about the birds and keeps a journal about their observations with his kids

Reddie - Despite the constant teasing their realtionship seems like a natural, casual und easy thing from the start. And Eddie likes the nicknames. These secret names are like another identity. He can be someone else. They take care of each other. Their relationship is a deeper friendship that runs mostly on an emotional level and is sometimes expressed through small, physical gestures. The chemistry between them is indescribable. It is cute when 90s Eddie immediately starts to giggle as soon as Richie makes a dumb joke at their reunion. And thing about the little moments when Richie pokes Eddie and calls him cute. I am won’t quoting this one passage in the book that leaves much room for speculations, but there is no doubt their special bond is official. In any case, the decision to make Richie gay in the movies gave the ship another push. I don’t complain. I love it. Though I still think Eddie would have been a better option. There are already some scenes in the book which are like an invitation to speculate about his sexualityTheir chemistry is very obvious and believe me, there is nothing I would more appreciate than a happy end for them Q__Q

This is one of sweetest things I have ever read in a book and that is all I need to explain why I love this ship.

Fav, Characters: Hmm when I read „IT“ for the first time I had a crush on Bill. He ist the born leader and in my childish, pre-teen way found his stuttering cute. There is something about him that cast a spell on you. It is perfectly understandable that he was a role model and an inspiration for his friends – especially for Eddie. In my personal opinion book!Bill ist the best Bill.

Richie - I love this chaotic megane dude. He is this silly type who use jokes, pranks to protect himself. His voices are like safe heaven (the same goes for Bill, whose stuttering almost disappears, when he pretends tob e someone else). He hides himself and his insecurities behind them. It is a shame that he doesn’t know what an impact he had on his friends. Richie seems to never ever shut up and sometimes his trashmouth is still talking, when he better should be quite. And I am famous to fall for funny characters. He can lights up the mood immediately ( and OMG…. I love Harry Anderson in the miniseries. A real entertainer, BUT BILL HADER…. Bill Hader…just to make it clear BILL HADER did such an amazing job. He rocked the movie and I still think, not just because I love this dude since over a decade, without him… the movie wouldn’t have been so entertaining)

Eddie - He is in these abusive relationships. First with his mother, who keeps him small and makes him believe that he is weak. At the end her own fears of beeing left behind prevented her son from becoming a self-confident adult. Eddie always thought he is weak and fragile. Although he knows that he doesn’t need all this medication, his childhood experience were the reason for his coping-behavior as an adult – he still uses his inhaler. He married a woman who is like his mother. Mike's call was something of a turning point. Until this call Eddie could not overcome his fears and had to face them again as an adult. I can remember. While reading the book there were several moments of silence and I stopped reading and thought: poor Eddie.

Ultimately, his story is about a hero who surpasses himself, overcomes his fears and by sacrifice himself he protects what is most important to him - his friends. It just touched me. Eddie gave his life for his friends and I think you can say he's my favorite character. His death may be a tragedy, but it was necessary for his character arc. My theory is that Eddie represents someone who has lost track in his life and prefer to stick on old but unhealthy patterns.It is almost like Eddie stands for missed opportunities, but at the same time it is never to late to change something. He is a hero. There are so many things I would like to talk about, therefore I should start an own thread XDDD

Oh and Bev - I could always identify with her (not bc of abuse or domestic violence. My childhood was amazing). She is the only girl around the losers and I was the only girl in my favourite clique too. We spent most of our time outside - it was great. Of course I had other friends (female) as well, but with my boys… it was always special).. As you know as an adult she falls back in old patterns. Her husband is tyrannical man like her father. Again Mike’s call is a turning point. Maybe the Benverly arc is the most satisfying. I was… I am very happy that Bev got her happy end.

Last but no least - I like Ben, Mike and Stan too. They have all there unique character treats and you sympathize with all of them. The Loser’s club is bunch of adorable idiots who just doing their best to become adults. I think it is normal that their friendship feels more intimate in the book – I highly recommand the book.

Oh… unfortunately I am not feelin‘ very confident about my own artworks. Sometims I have the feeling I am not creative enough and that my ideas are more or less boring. Nothing special ID Totally dumb – I know. As I mentioned before I came back lately to the fandom… I guess I missed many amazing IT weeks. I participated in some weeks/mainly shipweeks in other fandoms (Yakuza/Ryu ga Gotoku, FFXV) If I find an interesting annoucement I can imagine to participate in the future ; )

Without any form of bashing or lashing out, what is something you feel this fandom is missing?

In general… the fandom is really friendly – I hope so. Lately I have seen some salty comments on different stuff, topics… and well.. I have just an advice: life can be exhausting enough and time is always running. Don’t spend time on things you don’t like. Discussions can esclate quickly and worde can hurt too. So, just thing about before you jump in.

Yes, the show could do better with representation, but the show is doing a hell of a lot better than most mainstream shows

WE HAVE MUSICIAL EPISODES each season that make sense ! liek the musical numbers actually happen in canon ! they straight up actually break out into song and know they are doing it and there is an explanation for why ! we got a number to one day more from les mis and under pressure so far

every single character is interesting ! and you actually see how characters grow and change based on circumstances !

the most realistic portrayal of nerds

characters are canonly mentally ill ! confirmed by dialogue in the show ! these characters don’t forget and will mention this character’s depression and it’s diagnosed depression

the show does not shy away from trauma and trigger themes, but they do their best to portray it in an accurate light and make sure not to treat it as a joke or belittle their characters for it ; we have touch on suicide, depression, rape, sexual assault, child sexual assault, alcoholism, drug addiction, other mental illnesses, bullying, trauma, ptsd, self hate !

the cast and writers love each other ! they are all beautiful and they love each other !

the disabled character is played a disabled actress !

I always liked the unlikely story of Tommy Merlyn actually conquering Laurel Lances heart.

9. Overarcher (KaraX/Oliver QueenX)

While I don’t think our Kara would ever really give Oliver a shot, this one was undoubtly True Love, well at least for Oliver X, Kara X did love him, yes, but she was much more in line with duty than he ever was. Which is what actually makes this dynamic this interesting.

8. GreenAtom (Oliver Queen/Ray Palmer)

A very underapprecaited Ship that I love dearly. Ray und Oliver together have so much potential.

7. SmoakDetective (Donna Smoak/Quentin Lance)

Quentin needs love, and while Donna is not the first person you would think of when you would think of a potential partner for him, she is the best fit for the role. She challenges him and makes his day brighter. And he treats her well.

6. Olivarry (Oliver Queen/Barry Allen)

As unlucky as Olivers Love Live is, maybe that’s the case because the actual love of his live happens to be a man which he is not willing to admit to himself.

5. Raylicity (Ray Palmer/Felicity Smoak)

Cute and entertraining those two are actually a much better fit than Oliver and Felcitiy, maybe only a little bit too simelar as Oliver has pointed out.

4. Nysara (Nyssa al Ghul/Sara Lance)

We love Sara and we love Nyssa, why shouldn’t we love them together?

3. Throy (Thea Queen/Roy Harper)

This is the one ship that everyone agreed on was to be endgame.

What’s your OTP for your Muse(s)?

Ivakir and Ivakir. Yes, seriously. One of the main topics on my blog is love for yourself and that there is nothing wrong if you live for yourself and don't want a relatiosnhip. I think, it's needed to be shown more, because lonely people (I mean, those who don't want any kind of relationship) have some kind of social stigma. Especially, women. We know how lonely women are seen in society. If a woman lives alone or with her pets, then something is wrong with her, she is abnormal. She definitely needs a man at her side, even if he is a complete shit. I am tired of this shit.

Another OTP is Ivakir and Ryzhiy, though, their relationship is very hard to call even friendly.

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

No ships with those who are younger than 18. Ivakir's preference is people of her age, a little bit younger or older. I am alright to ship her even with non-human characters, but everyone should be adult.

Are you selective when shipping?

Yeah, but the whole point is that not so many people want to ship with me, so I don't even need to be that selective.

Reading the thing above, you may think that I make Ivakir hard to ship and that's a part of being selective. When it's not. Her personality makes it hard to be in the relationship with her.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?

I mean, like, it's seen very clearly by the mood in the thread. Like, I won't miss it.

Who are other muses you ship your muse with?

Ivakir and Ivakir is a good couple, I really like watching their dynamic. Iv and her reflection in the mirror is also not bad.

I would mention other muses, which are not mine, but I don’t want to make other people uncomfortable.

Does one have to ask to ship with you?

They don't need to ask, but simply tell me about it, because they will give a green light for writing certain things. Not nsfw, but Ivakir's thoughts, how she sees the other character and etc. The thing everyone should remember is that I am not going to ship our characters right away.

I am not obsessed. I follow people to write with them, not to ship with them. It would be nice to have a ship, but most of the time I don't care. I just love to write.

Since I am my own fandom, Ivakir/Ivakir has been really trendy these days.

Finally, how does one ship with you?

It's very easy to ship with me:

1) don't drop every thread we have (it's okay if we reached some point in the thread, or it was not very serious); 2) write something more than two characters kissing and hugging. I am here to create stories, even if they are about two people hunting for a dragon. The stories come first. Realtionships are built in the stories.
