When the both of you argued, it was mostly because of his laziness. You knew that he would be exhausted after a game across the globe, but laying in bed for the whole following week? You missed him and wanted to spend time with him, but it seemed like he preferred his sleep over you, since he ignored your pleas.

Then, you thought, he could have his sleep. And the bed. For him alone.

He creeped through the dark and into the living room when he noticed you not next to him, moonlight illuminating your sleeping form, curled up on the couch.

"Y/N. Babe." He lightly shook you, only to be harshly swatted away by the back of your hand. "Leave me alone. You got the bed all for yourself now, screw off." Guilt filled his heart at your words, realizing his selfish acts.

He huffed as he suddenly plopped on top of you, your protest falling to deaf ears. "m' sorry. Don't wanna sleep without you. Anymore." You let out a frustrated groan because he not only stirred you from your sleep, but also put his whole weight on top of you. "I'll take you out for dinner tomorrow. m' sorry."

You sighed in defeat, your arms slowly sneaking around his back. You just couldn't be mad at him for any longer, a soft smile creeping up your lips. "It's alright." The lifted his head lightly at that, relief washing over him. "You can get off of me now."

He just grunted in disapproval, positioning himself comfortably with his arm and leg wrapped around you, laying in the crack of the couch. "Don't wanna. Too much of a pain."

You giggled, snuggling into his touch as you both drifted into sleep.

Seems like the bed would be empty tonight and the both of you would wake up with a cramp.

ISAGI YOICHI.

Sometimes, his personality from the field takes over when the both of you have a dispute.

"Yoichi, don't you think you're overworking yourself?" He looked at you,

"Don't come at me with your fucking nonsense. Your brain doesn't work correctly, does it? This is my job. My dream." he spat at you, words leaving you hurt and confused. He didn't have to look twice to realize what his words did to you, feet walking after you on their own accord as you packed up your bag, leaving the field.

"Wait, I didn't mean to-" You were too quick for his word to even reach your ear, so he began to jog after you at a fast pace, stopping you from walking any further by blocking your path.

You went to your left, not sparing him another glance, but he blocked you again, and as you went to your right he also did. It went back and forth until you eventually snapped, your hand reaching up to push him out of the way, only to be halted half way.

You looked up at him, tears threatening to escape you from his harsh words. "I'm so stupid. You're right, I shouldn't have snapped at you like that. I'm so sorry."

You broke from his grasp, taking his distracted form as a chance to slip right past him, walking off to the car. You cursed under your breath once you noticed that he had the keys, waiting for him to open the car.

Once he did, you stepped in with a frown adoring your darling features, the frown only deepening once he stepped into the driver's seat. He looked at you for a moment before starting the engine, hoping to get right with you.

"Burger or Pizza for tonight?"

It was silent, so silent that it made his heart sink as he stepped onto the gas. But then you broke the silence suddenly, causing him to spare you a quick glance, smiling to himself.

"Sushi."

MICHAEL KAISER.

His naive and overconfident persona really is the last straw for you sometimes. Did you love him? Yes, of course. But did you love how naive and self-centered he sometimes was? No, absolutely not.

"You're being unfair, Micha'. " You earned a pity laugh from him in return, turning on his feet to flee into the living room. "Unfair? It's not my problem that yoz can never read the room."

"Read the room?", you asked in disbelief, "What do you-" "To give me some fucking space. You're glued to my ass like damn gum. God, I hate how clingy you are, it's unbearable." You fell silent at his words, tears stinging your eyes as your lip began to wobble, lashline threatening to let the cascade fall.

His head snapped back into your direction once he heard a sniffle, feet halting with his face still twisted in an irritated expression, soon falling into a fit of worry as he noticed your trembling form.

He was quick to embrace you in a thight hug, your tears straining his clothes as he tried to pacify you, hand stroking your back as his head placed an apologetic kiss to your head. "Didn't mean to make you cry, I'm sorry."

You didn't respond, hand lifting to take his shirt into your fist as you tried to stop your tears from flooding. "I lied." You lifted your tear-strained face up at that to look at him. "I love when you're all over me. Makes me feel loved."

"But you said-" He hushed you with his finger to your lips, blue-rose tattoo visible. "I just say stuff." "Yeah, a lot of nonsense." The both of you giggled at that before his hands lifted your form up to throw you onto the bed, following soon after, cuddling up to your form.

NOEL NOA.

it was a very rare occasion for the both of you to get tangled into in argument, but today seemed to be the day.

"I'm telling you to stop babying your team Noa. You're not their father. You got your own life and family too, me!" His annoyed sigh didn't got unnoticed by you. "I just got home, can't we discuss this some other time? I'm really not in the mood for your bickering."

Before he could retreat his words you already let out a pity laugh, looking at him in disbelief. "Bickering, huh? Alright." He was right on your trail to the bedroom, trying to explain himself, only to be cut of by the door being slapped right into his face.

"Y/N. Open the door, please." A scoff from you could be heard from the other side. "Why should I? I'm just bickering, right?"

He sighed at your answer, twisting the doorknob, carefully peeking inside. He was met with you, sitting on the bed, with your arms crossed over your chest, expression just like a child that got their favourite candy taken.

Noa had to contain the small smile that threatened to creep up his features."I should've listened to you. I'm sorry." This was all it took for you to rise to your feet, walking up to the pro athlete before wrapping your arms around his neck, placing a kiss soft to his lips.

"You better be."

MICHAEL KAISER

• Kaiser became aware of you for the first time when he bumped into you and didn't even spare you a look. Irritated, you scowled and mentioned how ugly his haircut was

• He only gave you a side glance and went on

• Since then, he began to notice your presence much more on the Bastard München campus

• He saw you when he bought a coffee in the cafeteria, he recognized you standing on the side of the football field while he was warming up; even after his taxing training he noticed you on his way to the dorms

• Kaiser isn't someone who shies away from conversation. When you became the assistant of his physiotherapist he had finally the opportunity to talk with you

• He already forgot about the bumping incident and conversed with you like he did with everybody else, a lot of self-absorbed remarks and snarky comments. And you didn't hesitate to bite back

• He was a bit friendlier with you than with everybody else though because you weren't his opponent on the field

• Eventually you warmed up to each other and the stinginess in your conversations toned down a little. Kaiser found himself looking forward to finding you around campus and agitating you

• He quickly realized that he had formed a crush on you. That's also when every conversation with you took a flirty spin. Kaiser was confident in himself, it would only be a matter of time until you fell for him

• Kaiser addresses you with so many silly pet names like "Süßkartoffel, Schnucki, or Bärchen"* instead of using your name

• He's generally touchy with people, but he became so much more touchy-feely with you after realizing his feelings

• Head resting on your shoulder to look at the document you're reading, hands around your waist just for fun, or even patting your head and messing up your hair :(

• Kaiser tries everything to sweep you off your feet and fluster you. When he's sure that you like him back, he immediately asks you out.

• "You like me right? I caught you staring at me multiple times these last few days," he smiles arrogantly and leans back with his hands behind his head as you stare at him with raised eyebrows. "Good for you that I like you too! Let's go out this weekend."

NOEL NOA

• You were the social media manager of Bastard München and had to talk to Noa multiple times throughout the week since he was the player who got the most likes and views on your posts and videos

• Noa had to do several challenges and Tiktok dances because of you. He thought that most of them were strange, but the rational part of him understood that his cooperation would be good for the team's publicity

• He was so bad at dancing and doing these challenges, you had to teach him every time you shot a new dance video

• Noa was very flustered every time you came up to his side and guided him with your hands on him, but he didn't let it show

• Over time he became used to your ideas and you two grew a little bond. He even developed a little crush on you. The thought of carrying out your ideas wasn't that bad anymore as long as he got to spend time with you

• He tried to reason why he liked you in the first place. Several things came to his mind: His heart beat faster every time you were near him. He had the desire to please you. When he was with you, there was always a slight smile on his lips

• Noa wouldn't say anything and continue like this for a year, to find out if his feelings were fleeting

• He didn't feel the need to be in a romantic relationship right now since his hands were full with football-related things. But if he still decided to pursue one, he wanted to be with the right person

• So when his heart remained unchanged after a year, he tried his luck and asked you out in one of your shootings

• "Let me be frank with you, I caught feelings for you. Could I take you out on a date, if that's okay?"

YOICHI ISAGI

• Isagi fell for you after you interviewed him. You didn't ask him superficial questions like every other reporter, but you understood his plays and asked him about his ambitions

• He was initially stunned by your questions but answered all of them with eagerness in his voice

• He was so giddy when you exchanged your contact info at the end of it

• Also when you texted him, asking him for another interview

• The next one had a more casual vibe to it. You two went out to the park and ate street food while you asked him various questions. You quickly became friends due to his open nature and it almost felt like a date...

• He became a nervous wreck every time before you met up and he asked his mom for advice on how to treat you like a gentleman

• Even when you two texted he probably would delete and rewrite his messages for like five minutes before actually sending them. His friends tease him because of that

• He definitely practiced his whole confession at home in front of the mirror and when the time to confess came, he quickly rattled his whole speech off before he started second-guessing himself

• "Look, I immediately thought there was a connection between us the moment we met. You understand all my plays, but you're not only engrossed in my football journey, you're interested in the real me too! So, yeah it's actually no wonder that I developed a crush on you... Do you think you could accept my feelings?"

Simply hugs you

They moment they see you, they're pulling you into their embrace. However, don't underestimate the force and resolve that was put behind it.

Through the way they'd hug you, it said a lot. The way he held you so close and so tightly that you could feel his heart beating out of his chest said, "I'm not letting you go again". And indeed, he wouldn't be letting you out of his embrace anytime soon.

Kisses your lips immediately

Sae, Kunigami, Aiku, Kaiser, Raichi, Karasu

They wouldn't care who was looking, he was going to give you the deepest kiss you've ever had when you two reunite. An uncharacteristically desperate kiss from him, one that claimed you his, and reclaimed you, over and over again. Lord, he missed your taste so much. He missed you so much.

Picks you up and spins you around

BACHIRA, Shidou, Hiori, Nanase, Aryu

He'd be too overwhelmed with excitement to stay still. If you don't come running up to him, he'll be the one running up to you. He'll swoop you into his arms and spin you around, and the long-awaited laugh he had yearned to hear for so long would bless his ears at last.

He'd want this moment to last forever if only it didn't make either of you so dizzy, hehe

Leans their forehead against yours and gazes deeply into your eyes

Nagi, Barou, RIN, Noa, Niko, Eita, Gagamaru

These would be the type of people who wouldn't express much affection, especially in public. Their affection is rather quiet, more subtle, and intimate, meant to be shown only to you.

And when you're finally right there in front of him, he's finding himself cupping the sides of your face and leaning his forehead against yours, so close that your noses were barely touching.

"...I've missed you", he'd whisper, and if that wasn't evident from the intensity of his tone, then it was evident in his eyes, full of longing and adoration.

He'll leave a kiss on your forehead if he's quick enough ♡

a/n: imma be honest, I still haven't gotten so far in the manga, so I actually don't know much about characters like Kaiser, Ness, and Oliver. Though, based on the previews I've been seeing of them on my dash, I feel like this would suit them? but again, they might be ooc, idk 🥲 Maybe I'll update this post once I've read and gotten to know more about em 😭

I’ve been seeing some discourse around twitter about the blue lock boys and whether they’d be a loyal bf or not 😭 Curious to know who do you think would be more inclined to cheat or who just wouldn’t at all!!!

I saw someone say sae would 100% cheat like whattt I feel like he wouldn’t even bother looking at anyone else if he already has someone (Cuz I mean dating him would likely mean you actually mean something to him) but I digress

ok anon you had me pulling up a whole argumentative essay here cus WHO TF SAID SAE WOULD 100% CHEAT??? 😔 that mischaracterization is so painfully inaccurate. twitter really took the whole emotionally unavailable itoshi archetype and ran with it. let me just clear the air here because my man deserves some explanation.

sae itoshi would not cheat. as in capital N and capital O. he took nearly an entire decade off his life just to work on his own issues and finally form a functional and healthy relationship with another human being. and you're telling me he's just going to let all that wash down the drain for someone else? 😒 twitter logic really be showing its illogical side here. apparently a man can be loyal to a professional sports career for eighteen years, but he can't be loyal to his significant other.

i think this misunderstanding probably happened cus of shidou. people read the manga and saw that sae dropped rin for a bug-eyed freak and automatically assumed he was disloyal. 😑 let me just say two things here:

(1) sae and shidou's relationship is strictly professional. imagine being stuck in an god awful corporate office with coworkers who bore you with their weaponized incompetence and a boss who annoys the living shit out of you. and then one day, the company hires a new recruit who is probably the most unhinged and debauched creature known to man. you're probably left wondering how he even got hired in the first place. but then you find out...he's useful. he takes risks and gets a high return on what he invests. it's impulsive and stupid, really. but at least it's unconventional and outside-the-box. he has your interest piqued. that's basically sae and shidou in a nutshell.

(2) just because sae gave shidou his number after the u-20 game does NOT mean he would do the same to any other person who would try to encroach on your relationship. and let's be real here. sae would get one text from shidou and block his contact.

anyways, here is my analysis on the bllk boys in general. introducing the anti-cheating to pro-cheating spectrum:

(A) cannot cheat under any circumstance (as in they already hate the fact that they live on a planet with 8.1 billion other people who are not you):

itoshi brothers (atp they don't even have the physical or mental capacity to entertain a third party), ness, reo

(B) cannot cheat due to physical incapability (literally cannot pull anyone within a five-meter radius to cheat with):

ego, igarashi, raichi, bachira (not that he's in any way unattractive...it's just...i feel like he would purposefully act weird to drive off people who aren't you)

(C) could not cheat (basically option A and B but less problematic version)

yukimiya, barou, kunigami, noa, loki, gagamaru, chigiri, niko, hiori, karasu (baby boy literally felt inferior cus his crush was the cutest in his class), kurona (head empty, just you)

(D) would not cheat (on you but everyone else is not included)

isagi (unintentionally a homewrecker to others but would never let anyone homewreck his relationship with you), leonardo (idk why but i just don't trust him entirely)

(E) could cheat (depends on what they get out of it):

kaiser, shidou (honestly what did you expect when you willingly dated a blonde man...)

(F) would cheat (either proven by canon or they accidentally fucked up somehow):

A GLIMPSE INTO THE LIFE OF NOA FAMILY – noel noa

a little glimpse into the nao family. wherein you get to see a few of their daily antics.

It’s evident in the eyes of your son that he is quite not found of his father’s affections for you. The three-year-old cannot for the fact digest that his mother is loved by his ugly father – it is his view of his dear dad. Aimé is quite literally the biggest hater of his dad. The best striker in the world – Noel Noa.

Noel kisses your cheek? Aimé is probably out and about to find tissues, dip them in sanitiser and run off to you to clean it. Noel has his head in your lap? Aimé is on his way to plop himself in that very special place. The young boy tries his all to throw his father of the edge, but the older man doesn’t budge, he seems to always shrug it off, finding a better place to hold you close and not bat an eye to his son’s intentions.

It only makes Aimé adamant on doing much more to gain your attention away from his father, and that he gets when he slides into your shared bed. Yes, that’s right. Aimé Noa slides right in the middle of the bed between Noel and you with the shit eating grin on his face, and that is the only time he irks the father of his. The veins protruding from his neck are visible but you seem to not notice that because you are too focused on your little son.

That’s right, stay focused on sweet little, Aimé.

“I’ll sleep with you and papa tonight!” The three-year-old cheers, a cheeky smile on his face. You being a mother take the ruse, for in your eyes he is but a little angel, and oh, how you love your sweet innocent angel. But that words to the opposite to Noel. They do not set well with him, nuh-uh, he ain’t letting his son get in the time he has with his wife – no, not at all.

Noel is smart. He knows of the glint in his son’s eyes, it was pretty much evident with the way he always washes you in sanitiser whenever Noel’s hands or lips land on you. It makes him annoyed to no end, but he indulges in his son’s antics, not minding much because he gets you to himself, all at night. That’s fine with him, he gets you at night so his son could get you in the day.

But oh, oh, oh, such a wolf he is in sheep’s clothing. He has started to become the bane of Noel’s existence. It feels as if his wife is not his anymore but belongs to his son. He knows you love him and Aimé the same, but that look Aimé is giving to Noel in the moment, makes Noel boil with annoyance and jealousy. Because at times he doesn’t like sharing his wife.

So when the lights are out, the young lad stuck in the middle of you and your husband. Your husband gets the most amazing ideas of all times, when he hears the little twat snoring to his comfort, Noel picks the boy up gently, and places him right at the corner of the bed – not too to the side for the boy to fall, he is loving father after all – and shifting in the middle to hold you in his arms.

Ah, such satisfaction his heart gets as he finally pulls you close. A blissful smile sets upon Noel’s lips as he feels you nuzzle in his clothes, as he himself wraps you in his arms, as he himself snuggles with you and falls into a deep slumber, not caring of what the morning brings for him.

And when the sun rises from the east, it also awaken the little boy too quick as well. Aimé rubbing the sleep away as he sits straight in bed expecting to jump into his mother’s arms, but what he sees is his father’s giant back and nothing else. Uh-oh, looks like Amié is down one point now and like father like son, he is not going to accept defeat so easily.

So, he does what he does best, he jumps with all his might on the both of you, jerking you out of your sleeping states, as you scream in shock while you husband wakes up frazzled, and for you son to be laughing to his heart’s content. It’s quite the sight for you, when you see your husband push him deeper into the quilts and tickle the boy to no end as he laughs and laughs and laughs.

You like it. The sight feels warm for Noel is out and about most of the times. But the times he spends with you like these become deeper and well cherished memories. You are well aware of the little war going on between these two, but you don’t mind, for it gives you moments like these to wake up too.

Your son’s loud laughter bounces of the walls while Noel speaks to him in french of how hurt you could have been, without stopping his tickle attack on his son. It’s funny. So, you laugh at the view set before you, and as you do, it’s your turn to be tickled by the two. They share the same brain cell at times, for Aimé is just like Noel, there is not the slightest difference between the two.

It’s fun. It’s family. So you cherish what you have been blessed with.

This is but a little glimpse in the daily life of the Noas. They are but together. They are unique in quite the amusing ways and well that is who they are.

noel is a bit ooc i think 😭 but i feel like he is a super good dad 🗣️

A very romantic dance on the beach, the sunset illuminating both of your silouhettes. Barefoot in the sand and your laughter echoing. He isn't laughing as much, but you can tell he's having fun. Your hair is messy and the warm sand almost burning your feets but who cares, you're having one of the best moment with your boyfriend. The final move is a long and romantic kiss, embracing eachothers...

drops practice and promises to make up for it to his coach and drops by the pharmacy to grab medication for you

when he sees you sick in bed, his heart aches so badly cause he knows how overworked you’ve been feeling and wished you didn’t push yourself so hard

cleans you up and makes porridge for you to eat before you take the medication

he’d quickly wash up and lay down in bed with you, cuddling you with your head on his chest and his arms around you like a bear

“you’d get sick too, silly,” you’d say and he will shake his head, pull you closer and say, “i don’t care unless you’d feel better.”

but instead, he would drop by the grocery to get ingredients to cook you his homemade recipe his mother taught him back in france

he quickly checks in on you, and starts cooking in the kitchen, occasionally walking back into your bedroom to see if you’re comfortable

you’re barely awake as he sits you up, and feeds you his remedy

“tastes good,”you mutter in between spoonfuls,”you made it?”

he smiles and cleans the side of your mouth if his thumb,”yeah i did, my mother taught me how to cook this when she was sick.”

you smile, looking at how soft his face turns when he talks about his mother back in france

once you’re done with your soup, he gives you your medication, tucks you in, and kisses you on your forehead before he heads back into the kitchen to clean up

sae itoshi

this boy PANICS when he hears that you’re sick

he panics cause he doesn’t know what to do

he’s tempted to call his mother to ask him what to do but he scowls, choosing to google instead

he grabs all the medication needed and made his way to your home immediately and starts fussing over you

“are you okay y/n? does that work? is it comfortable?” he asks as he puts a cool gel sticker on your forehead, hoping the fever would subside

“it is, thank you sae,” you smile at him as you watch his scrunched eyebrows relaxed.

at least you are still conscious to speak to him if not he’d consider carrying you to the hospital since he doesn’t trust himself

“alright, get some sleep now, i’ll get some food for you to eat when you wake up,” he brushes your hair away from your face as you lie down, leaning up to give him a peck on the cheek before he leaves your room.

isagi yoichi—

is so understanding and sharp that you will never feel uncared for. most probably also got a list of your favorite things & important dates in his notes & calendar. even noel noa doesn't get that privilege. he is so downbad that everyone just accepts everything is second to you (and soccer).

is the type that gets so into you once you get his heart. do you worry that you might be #2 soccer? stay still babe, at some point you kind of mix in with 'the soccer' too honestly. every first goal? dedicated in your name. first person to call after a match? you—no matter how short or long it will be, it has to be you. he is away for a match overseas? you better be the one who gets a sleep call schedule ready because when yoichi wants something yoichi will somehow do it. and if you try to praise him—despite all the years of growing confidence—he still gets flustered like a boy with his first crush when it's you. it's as endearing as it is embarrassing to him. if someone points it out he will state it with pride though—after all, his feelings for you are one of his pride.

however, is also the type of guy who would rather shoulder as much as possible. he does it out of love, sure, but having him trying to swallow some problem under the guise of "forcing you to change something is a big no" is just asking for a bigger problem in the long run. so, you do have to be the one who gets the serious talks starting—and he sometimes could get really stubborn even though he is one of the most communicative ones so get ready for that. the thing with yoichi is that he really has to get it to accept it.

chigiri hyoma—

is a beautiful ikemen who walks with the charm of a shoujo manga lead maxed out. as in if this guy falls for you he just naturally acts like a shoujo lead who came to life. and he is also one of the most fashionable guys who puts attention and care on his and your appearance. try to aim for the cutest couple award and high chance you will win.

is also a very dedicated man. he will make sure you know how much he treasures you and it shows. he is not the tidiest person, he is also a pretty demanding guy, but with you? "fine, okay. i'm doing this just for you, you know," he says and hyoma doesn't lie. he will do anything for you. the amount of trust he puts on you is really evident too and he is not one to shy away from saying it. also, trust that this guy will gladly run across tokyo on a lazy monday morning during his rare break just to deliver you anything if you ask. he will demand kisses, yes, but that's also a benefit in its own way.

but, he is also very moody and, admittedly, impatient. so when he gets into this sort of mood you have to keep your head clear and deal with him until his head cools down. he won't hurt you—he will never—but without a doubt his attitude and wording could definitely drag your anger out. he also tends to focus on one thing and one thing only when he gets like this, while it has its benefits, during these times you have to be really patient when trying to talk to him.

itoshi rin—

is the type of guy who truly embodies "it's the small things". also, he is so attentive and combining this with the fact he is more into action than words—you honestly get yourself a gold mine of top-tier 'act of service' bf.

is actually very affectionate once you can translate his silent languages. he is always close to you at every chance he gets. it's not even funny. some people could translate this as some guard dog behavior, some braver souls translate this like a kid following the elder around, but honestly rin just likes being close to you. it calms him down in a way that also somehow manages to keep him awake—which is a nicer way to put 'this guy sometimes barely blinks when he is staring at you'. your happiness is one of his top priorities and he will bite someone literally if he has to just for that. this is how bad it is. but all in all, all of this is a way for him to keep an eye for you and be ready to assist you in anything—you need to take something? you need him to carry something? you want to buy something? just leave it to him, it will make him happy too. if you get overwhelmed? tell him, this guy is actually really quick to adjust things the moment he gets it. and for you? he will somehow do it even faster.

with all that being said though, this guy could get confusing at times. when he gets into a particularly negative thought, his first response would be to bark out his emotions and afterward distance himself. clearly, communication with him is hard. but despite all the silent treatment you get, he still wants to have you close—while being the one who keeps his distance from you. dealing with rin when he is being like this truly requires maturity and delicacy that probably rivals an esper skills.

i actually don’t know why it’s taken me this long to write about kaiser, i fucking love this man *moans*

love was a concept kaiser could not understand nor wished to get involved with. he believed love clashed with his ideals to escape from noel noa's shadow therefore dissociating from the norm that he is second best where noa is concerned. in other words;

love would only hold him back.

well, at least that's what he thought before you came along.

it all started when he was out shopping with ness, picking out over expensive items he did not necessarily need but bought anyways to feed into his swelling ego as well as affirming within himself that if 'he can he will'.

he had chanced upon a clothing shop with a shirt that caught his eye, wanting to look at it briefly at a closer angle. while the shirt wasn't over appealing to him, he had no reason to not buy it, considering how rich he is. he started filtering through, selecting the right size, giving it to ness to hold and heading towards the counter. just as they was approaching the queue, he lightly clashed into something in front of him, looking down with increasing displeasure at whoever weren't looking at where the fuck they were going, seeing an extremely beautiful woman rubbing her shoulder. he didn't speak at first, allowing his anger to simmer. he didn't need to anyways, not when ness was present and apparently feeling more offended than kaiser himself who was actually hit.

"oi, watch where you're going you idiot. you just hit the Michael Kaiser!"

what they didn't anticipate however was you having the ability to stand up for yourself.

you took an airpod out of your ear, giving the most aggravated side eye both football players had ever seen.

"first off, i would watch who the fuck you're talking to. i don't care if his name is michael or fucking joey, i will not be disrespected by a pair of strangers when i clearly bumped into you by accident. you didn't even give me time to breathe, let alone apologise, which i won't be doing now for the record."

although stunned, kaiser was somewhat intrigued at your reaction. although he likes annoying people and baiting reactions, this was truly one of the few times he had actually been knocked down a peg in retaliation. he wanted to know more about you.

"damn. feisty."

"i'll show you fucking feisty if you want."

ness stood there, solemnly humbled and out of commission to spout any other bullshit from his mouth, while kaiser was stunned into temporal silence.

"whatever, leave me alone you freaks."

you turned to walk up to the cashier desk, letting the sales assistant scan your clothes items. they gave you the price and you reached into your purse to take your card. a hand beat you to it however, a beep resounding from the card machine. you looked up to see a tattooed hand retracing back to the owner's side, holding a black card. he looked to you with a sly grin.

"what, am i supposed to be impressed?" you quizzed with a raised brow.

well damn.

it was clear to kaiser that you were different from other women, who were always easily impressed by money.

"just an apology for how my friend acted towards you, meine liebe."

you ignored him and took the now bagged clothes from the sales assistant, muttering a word of thanks while turning back to the duo, opening your wallet.

"i don't wanna owe you anything, so how much was it? i didn't see the price."

"aht, aht, that's between me and my bank account now. although if you truly must repay me, how about dinner tonight?"

ness' eyes nearly popped out of his head with seething jealousy that kaiser was diverting his attention elsewhere. he wouldn't say that to him though, he valued his life and would prefer to not be embarrassingly degraded in public again.

you gave a calculated stare at kaiser in slight shock, not expecting the once hostile environment to transition towards one of romance.

you pinched the bridge of your nose, slowly inhaling before opening your eyes.

"if it'll get you to leave me alone then fine."

you held your hand out for his phone, which he placed in your palm, quickly typing in your number and saving a name. you promptly returned it back to him, to which he looked at the details.

he looked back up, only seeing where you previously stood, now vacated. he smirked to himself in amusement.

• six months later •

it's safe to say in the time he had gotten to know you, he swiftly became enamoured. although you protested countless of times, he would make sure to take you to upscale restaurants, don you with high end clothing. jewels, diamonds, shoes, dresses, you name it, he bought it. you only had to be remotely interested in the item you were looking at to find it at your doorstep the next day. and don't get you started on the way he loved you during the night. he always made sure you were satisfied before he was.

it's safe to say you had him wrapped around your finger. don't think that's it's a bad thing, but what really had kaiser keening for you was the interest you had for him as a person, not for who he was. you were probably the only person who treated him as a human being and not just a notorious football player. you allowed him to be himself around you. and he valued you immensely for that.

in the six months you had been dating each of you treated the other equally as well. although you requested for the relationship to stay secret for the meantime, he never gave you less of his love. it got to the stage where he couldn't imagine doing anything without you.

it just so happened that one night while watching a movie on his couch he couldn't hold himself back anymore.

you head was laid on his lap, stroking his thigh while he stroked your hip. your face was illuminated by the soft glow emanating from the tv and you just looked so damn beautiful.

he didn't intend for it to happen, but he couldn't stop the words from slipping out.

"i love you."

your head rose slightly, making sure you weren't tweaking and he actually professed his love to you.

his face was alarmingly red and he was looking anywhere but you in the moment, having grown shy. you sat up from his lap opting to sit on him instead, wrapping your legs and arms around him, placing your head in the crook of his neck and giving a light peck, moving to whisper in his ear.

"i love you too handsome."

he turned his head catching your lips in a heated passionate kiss, quickly incorporating his tongue into the mix, tasting the salt from the chips you were eating during the movie. it quickly escalated, your hands threading into his blonde and blue locks, gripping them and pulling slightly, to which he moaned into your mouth.

he reached his limit, and so did you . he lifted your body and lay you down on the couch, taking off his shirt and caging you in with his arms.

"i'm about to show you how much i love you meine schönheit."

notes | made this once i realized that it’s isagi’s bday today. he’s my favorite character in blue lock, so why not celebrate with my first fic on this account?

Having lost the chance to go to nationals, Isagi was more down than usual. Despite his best efforts, the disappointment weighed heavily on him. After having dinner with his parents, he retreated to his room, feeling the need to cool down and collect himself. He put the letter he received on his nightstand before sitting alone on his bed.

Not long after, Isagi heard the doorbell ring downstairs. He looked over at his clock confused. Did his parents expect someone over this late? Some talking could be heard downstairs, which he chalked up to nothing, before he heard your voice. It was slightly muffled due to the walls, but he can recognize it from a mile away.

He was taken aback at you coming over so late. That suprisement turned into a sense of unease as to why you showed up. The fact that he lost the match by 0-2 only added to his anxiety. He was embarrassed of the possibility that you knew he lost such a big game. His first instinct was to pray that you just came over to pick something up, no matter how unlikely. He didn’t want you to see him in this state, especially since you were his long-time crush aka his best friend.

Downstairs however, Isagi’s parents expected you arrival. “Sorry for any inconvenience coming over here.”

"Don’t worry, it’s okay,” you said, taking your shoes off before entering. “Is Yoichi in his room?"

Mrs. Isagi nods. “He went up after dinner. He’ll listen to you. I’m sure of it.”

The reason why you were over so late, was because Isagi’s mother had called you. She was the one to contact you and tell you if you could come over to cheer him up. You knew that he had an important match but you didn’t get any text from him after it, so you didn't bother him. It was sweet of her to do such things, so your heart melted and you said yes.

As she granted you permission, you made your way up the stairs, feeling a mix of nostalgia. You didn't need any directions to locate his room; you had been there several times before.

You pause for a moment outside his door, taking a deep breath to steady yourself. You raise your hand and knock gently, waiting for a response. "Yoichi?" you call out. "It's me, [First]. Can I come in?"

"Yes, come in."

You entered his room and took in the usual layout that you’ve been accustomed to. His Noel Noa poster and soccer players figurines that you always liked to look at. His room is neat, definitely cleaner than yours after a long week. "I heard about what happened," you say slowly so as to not cause any pressure.

Either way, he seemed to tense up at your words. It’s clear you struck a cord. “Yeah, we lost,” he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. You sat down next to him on the edge of his bed, giving him a moment to collect himself. You glanced down at your feet, trying to think of something comforting to say.

After a moment of silence, you turned to him and asked, “Did you at least give it your all?”

Isagi would’ve said yes, you’ve asked this question before, but his last play in the match wasn’t exactly ‘100%’. He passed the ball when he could’ve gone for it himself and part of him was regretting it. He could dream about the what-ifs, but he knew better than to do that.

Isagi hesitated, his eyes downcast. He knew he hadn't given it his all, not really. But he didn't want to disappoint you. You were always so hopeful, so supportive. He didn't have the heart to tell you the truth. Instead, he nodded slowly and said, "You can say that."

You could see the sadness in his eyes, and you knew he was holding back. But you didn't want to push him. You just sat there quietly, offering your presence and support.

You found yourself at a loss for words. You always has been good at giving compliments and sharing bits of wisdom, but in the moment, you just didn’t know what to say without making Isagi’s already low mood worse.

You know one thing, that with him, it didn’t feel like you were walking on eggshells. Your interactions have always been natural and effortless with him. You could let your heart do the talking, confident that he would understand and appreciate your words.

Despite your hesitation, you knew that deep down, you had the ability to lift Isagi's spirits and make him feel better. You just needed to find the right words to do so.

"You know what I think?" you abruptly say. "You should see this loss as a way to improve. I know that you can still get better. Just please don't let this discourage you from getting out on that field again."

Hesitantly your hand moved on top of his as you continued, "Never forget your love for soccer. It's what I most admire about you." Your face is slightly flushed from your own words, but you would repeat them over again if he asked.

Isagi was dumbfounded when he asked you, "You like my love for soccer?"

You couldn't help but chuckle at his cluelessness. "I like how passionate you are," you explained. "You just go.”

As soon as the words left your mouth, you couldn't help but wonder if you had made things awkward between the two of you. After all, you had been good friends for so long. But then, Isagi looked at you with his big blue eyes, and you found yourself getting lost in them.

Despite your reservations, you couldn't help but admit that there was something about Isagi that drew you in. Maybe it was his contagious energy, or the way he always seemed to be chasing after his dreams. Whatever it was, you couldn't deny that you were drawn to him in a way that you couldn't quite explain.

"[First]?"

"Yes?"

His mind was working overdrive as he thought this would be the moment to confess, but there’s a sense of hesitation in his eyes. He’s always wanted to be your boyfriend, but the letter on his desk is holding him back. How good of a boyfriend can he be if he's away to focus on his soccer career? You don’t deserve that.

Isagi sighs. "Thank you, I won't give up," he promises, giving you a reassuring smile. You can sense that he wants to say more and he seems to be holding back. You don’t want to force him into saying things he doesn’t want to, but you can’t help but speculate… what does he really want to say?
