finally in bed. opening day went great tho. except for the fact that one part of a prop broke and another disappeared after the show over (it's ok tho, i bought spares just in case)
technically i'm doing only a hospitanz which is when you sit in rehearsal to learn through observation and then maybe do some minor tasks. i'm at a super small theater tho so there's actually a lot of work for me to do. and it's my second year working with this team so now i know my way around too. ngl i feel like i do a lot more than the actual assistant director. the actors handed out little opening day presents with handwritten cards and pretty much all of them mentioned how hard-working and meticulous i am. it feels amazing to see that all my efforts are being seen and appreciated. planning on asking if next year i can be the assistant director right away
#no really tho i feel like people tend to come up to me more when they need something kfjfjfjf#i'm famous for my lists#i have like 10 different lists at the very least#one actress called them my ''phenomenal lists'' in her message to me and said she feels very well taken care of#i'm proud of my work ngl and i'm good at it#this just feels so RIGHT#fingers crossed i'll be able to make a career out of it#airenyah plappert#no but the team is very nice and sweet and everyone takes care of each other very well#loving life rn 😎#though i AM very much looking forward to having the next four days off ngl#the last 2 weeks have been super stressful

HIIII PINK!!! When I heard you were leaving I was so sad I even started crying and started to doubt myself on entering the void. I was like “how tf am I going to get into the void without pink???” I started procrastinating reading some of your post basically stalking ur page staying up til 4 in the morning (I was desperate 😭). I realized that I already read all of ur post, nd I just was surprised on how much time I wasted trying to get into the void. And I always dreamt abt putting a success story in your inbox. I already had all the knowledge i needed so what’s the point of more? I deleted tumblr and thought of anything that could help me get in the void. I did SATS while listening to my subliminal playlist, i daydreamed abt the void and my desires for fun, i affirmed for my void concept randomly throughout the day, feeling of the wish fulfilled, listened to delta waves when I was abt to sleep, and I meditated once a day for 10 mins. Meditation was optional but whateva 🤷♀️. I ONLY DID THAT FOR THREE FREAKING DAYS. And Im still mad at myself for wasting time procrastinating for 9 months. I was going to take a nap and I was in a drowsy state, so might as well affirm for the void right? I started saying affs like “I’m in the void”, etc etc. Once I started affirming, everything was just calm Yk? My body wanted to move but it was like it couldn’t cause the state I was in was calm asf. So I closed my eyes and just repeated the affs in my head over and over and over until I got this feeling like as if my body was floating, then I payed attention to it for a split second then ignored It after. I kept on affirming then I felt like I was being pulled then let go and it was as if I was falling. Everything got darker and quieter. So then I got scared and jumped because that scared me soo bad (I’m a easy person to scare 😔). After that, I felt like I was actually a master at the void, I took a nap again and I had the same feeling but when I felt like I fell I kept my calm. Then I couldn’t hear my fan which was louddd, I opened my eyes to total darkness, I was scared for two seconds and realized I was in the void!! Ngl I had a whole list set up with my desires and I was ready to affirm and goooo!!! But I realized how calm the void is and stayed there for what felt like 5 minutes. I did affirm I had all my desires and that I was able to wake up in the void under 5 seconds. When I woke up from the void it was 9 pm and I took a nap at 2!!! I woke up with all of my desires nd shi. (I would explain in more detail in how I got in and stuff like that but I was in a rush and didn’t want to make this too long 😀)

This is really going to show my Season 3 bias ngl.
#5. 2.12 "Don't make me twist your arm."/"Please do."
Their chemistry is insane when they're teasing each other downstairs and then they kiss each other so softly once they get upstairs. I'm a sucker for a good soundtrack moment and there's something iconic about having their house literally light up on fire under them while obliviously making out as Fever by Elvis Presley plays in the background. Peak cinema tbh.
#4. 3.04 "Hey, baby. Breathe."/"Welcome home, TK."
We can all agree to have these two can count as one scene, right? they go back to back. The way TK reached for Carlos as soon as he woke up and immediately noticed that Carlos wasn't breathing right even though he just woke up from a coma, is still groggy, and barely has his eyes open? soulmate shit right there. If you haven't watched this without the music. my god. do it now. & then add in how happy they both look as Carlos leads TK into the loft with his hands over his eyes, and then when TK looks around and you can see on his face when he realizes he still gets to have this despite everything? Beautiful.
#3. 3.18 "For the first time in my life, the love that I feel is infinitely more powerful than the fear of losing it."/"A thousand times yes."
I mean can I even say more about the proposal that hasn't already been said? the urgency TK felt that prompted him to wake Carlos up in the middle of the night. His speech to Carlos. All the little touches throughout. The way they both were crying by the end. It was beautiful and it was perfect for them. (the only way it could have been better is if they maybe stopped to turn on a fucking lamp)
#2. 3.08 "Hey, look at me."/"I love you."
This was their first mutual "I love you" shown on screen and while the context was heartbreaking, it was still so so sweet. Carlos being the loving caregiver, kissing TK's forehead, rubbing his knee, wanting to make sure he eats. The way Carlos tells TK to look at him and he does immediately, even though TK has been basically avoiding eye contact with everyone the entire scene will live rent free in mind for all of time, I'm sure.
#1. 3.13 "Do you have any idea how proud of you I am?"/"You're just so sweet."
Can I put the entirety of 3.13 on the list at number one? Because it's my favorite episode for them. It has so many things. It has them being domestic and flirtatious. TK being distracted by Carlos in yoga clothes. It has them fighting a bit, overcoming those obstacles, and communicating. It showed Carlos as a multidimensional character with flaws like jealousy and pettiness, but then growing through it to come to the realization that he can't be everything that TK needs at the end of the day.
But if I absolutely had to pick just one scene from it, I would chose the opening scene. TK sharing with Carlos about his meeting, finding a sponsor, & the realization of not having Gwyn around affecting his mindset. Carlos waiting up with his adorable glasses, reading articles to educate himself, telling TK how proud of him he is. TK calling him sweet and flirting with him. I just-- 🥰🥰

8 so far. It's not a lot, but I make up for it in length.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

3. What fandoms do you write for?
Exclusively tmbs so far, but I plan on doing some Wolf359 fics when I (finally) finish the podcast. Sadly all my ideas are long. I'm sorry.

He might be a disaster, but he's my kid and I'm proud. This fic is ridiculous, but it makes me laugh anyway. I don't know how burnt out finals Bods came up with this, but by golly...she did.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Of course! I think I've responded to every comment I've ever gotten (if not I'm so sorry please let me know). I appreciate every one of them, and I love talking about the ideas in my idea and the fics I write, so please know that every comment you leave totally brightens my day! 🥰
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Hm. Right now "The Boys Who Waited" probably has the angstiest and most ominous ending, but we'll see what happens.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Probably "A Joy To Obey" since it's my main fluff fic with a nice ending. A great read if you like lighter stuff.
8. Do you get hate on your fic?
Not yet. If I did, I'm not even sure what I'd do. Depends on the hate. I might cry. I might laugh, honestly. I don't think I'm nearly important, good, or noticeable enough for that so I might be a little flattered ngl (unless it was something vulgar or hateful towards a certain group of people then I'd delete and block the person). I'm sure people have read my writing and not liked it, but I think they just click away.
9. Do you write smut?
No, that's not for me. Especially because I'm writing for a children's fandom, I just don't think that's appropriate.
10. Do you write crossovers?
No, but I've done some AU's on tumblr.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of. Also this is a small fandom so if a fic of mine DID get stolen, it would be pretty awkward and obvious. Don't plagiarize kids.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, but I'd be honored if anyone wanted to do that!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic?
No, but that could be fun!
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
Why the MV Shortcut, of course! /jk
I don't really have a lot of ships I get super invested in, I prefer platonic relationships. If I think of one I'll let you guys know.
15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
You'll find out. (Don't worry about SOS. I promised I'd finish it and I intend to keep my word).

According to my readers, dialogue, characterization, themes, weaving multiple storylines together, and plot twists.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I can't write a short fic to save my life, and I can't edit to save my life. I also just publish my first drafts because I have no impulse control (sorry).
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
Funny enough I’ve done this, but only canon MBS dialogue where I've translated it directly from the show's subtitles. If I made an error, please let me know.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Mbs, and so far just mbs. Hoping to expand someday when I magically have more time (and finish Wolf359).

ngl i was really debating on who to use this prompt for, but ultimately decided on wanderer, the murderous meow meow.
notes: the reader isn't the traveler, they have a vision, but I didn't specify details about the element/weapon so go crazy ig, i’m trying not to like, give wanderer a specific name bc he's got like 8 at least and then there’s the customizable names, the prompt is from the enemies to lovers midpoint list, so ofc, yall aren't gonna be besties (or possibly more) 100%, but it’s a start

When the Traveler asked for your help in occasionally joining them as they moved across Teyvat, you did not think that you would be actively fighting life-sized mushrooms on top of that.
The creatures, while cute from afar, were far more dangerous up close, especially for someone who either did not have a vision or did not have any sort of combat training. Although you can't help but almost feel bad as one of the many mushrooms you had fought squeaked in pain, coming into contact with your own attacks.
You feel a strong wind coming nearby and you scowl. Because not only do mushrooms move past you, you have to dig your feet into the ground, lest you be blown away by the wind's strength. Your surprised expression immediately morphs into a scowl, of course, of fucking course.
Laughter is heard before you see him, "Ah, hello to you too."
You're tempted at making an obscene gesture, but instead, smile tightly, because you know that he'll like the attention.
"Well, I'm glad that what you lack in height is made up for in your strength."
But your enjoyment the anger on his face is short lived. As you hear the angry squeaks coming from the fungi, you grab his sleeve, and with some force (maybe a little bit exaggerated, since he easily stumbles, although that could be since he was taken off guard).
Despite his protests, at least he thanks you.
The Traveler and Paimon watching this, look silently towards one another with a shared look that is of purely pained understanding, back to you both now sharing friendly banter, then turning back to share the same look again. The pair mutually agreed on one thing: you both were hopeless.
The afternoon continues as normal, or at least as normal as it can be whilst hunting mushrooms and other beasts that made Sumeru their abode. You were currently enjoying one of the pita sandwiches that the Traveler had brought along. Using the giant tree behind you as a way to shade yourself. The rustle of grass beside you has you peering from the wanderer at the corner of your eye.
“I didn’t think you’d deign yourself to sitting among the rest of us,” You say thoughtfully after swallowing your food. (Seeing as how he would usually head off on his own, even with the breaks that everyone else took.)
He sniffs derisively, “Seeing you laze about reminded me that taking breaks is good too. Can’t have you working too hard.”
You make a face at his expression, far too pleased with himself for your liking.
“Oh why thank you, honorable wanderer. Are you sure it’s not because you missed my presence that much you wanted to sit next to me?”
He doesn’t answer, and for a moment you think you possibly could have gone too far, before you take a closer look at this wanderer.
Oh my... He was smiling! A part of yourself feels giddy yet proud at this new reaction. For the amount of time you had joined the traveler’s expeditions, this was the first time you saw anything close to a real smile. Most of the time you had shared disdain for one another.
“...I suppose, you are not the most intolerable.” He shrugs, making a point to observe the giant tree above you both.
You grin, akin to a cat that caught the canary, “I think we’re friends now.”
“God, don’t say that,” He says, yet continues to move to sit next to you.
Still, you laugh quietly to yourself.

Neville Longbottom :
He is a good listener. He will listen and let his kids speak and give the best advice.
He is reliable. You can count on him for anything and everything.
He loves gardening and tends your huge garden and probably has a greenhouse too.
Helps his kids with school work especially Herbology.
He reads story books to his kids during bedtime.
He is generous. Too generous. Many people can attest to this.
He's probably very affectionate toward his kids like hugs and pats on the back.
Draco Malfoy :
Probably spoil his kids and buys them anything they want no matter the price.
Become a better dad than his dad, because he wants his kids to feel loved and appreciated.
He tries to be as honest as he can toward his kids no matter what.
One of those dads that are fun to shop with because he has style and is actually helpful at giving fashion tips.
The type to enjoy a glass of wine for dinner.
Strict, but in the best way because he wants what's best for his kids.

Reads the daily prophet like every morning with a cup of hot black coffee in hand.
Probably the most patient dad out of all the boys in here.
He probably cries at his kid's wedding, like an ugly cry out of happiness.
He's the type to like singing/karaoke.
He is not a quitter and he won't let you quit either.
He sends letters quite frequently to his kids while they're away in Hogwarts to keep in touch with them.
He's probably the type to be a good cook and knows what his kids love to eat.
He forgives easily and never holds grudges.

My passion/enthusiasm - when I get into something, I kind of just throw my whole being into it
My smile/my giggle
My math skills - I haven't used them in a while, but I got a 5 on the AP Calculus exam and I'm very, very proud of that
My strength - I mean this both figuratively and literally. My arms are pretty damn strong from pushing my wheelchair around all day, and I've been through a bunch of medical shit and I'm still going strong, so I'm pretty proud of that
My love for people - ngl, people are pretty damn exhausting for me to be around, but I just have such a love for humanity in general and I really like that about myself

2. What’s your total AO3 word count? LOL if you think I'm going to add up the word count of 101 total fics, you're crazy! So instead, I'll just say my longest fic on my primary page is 96,771, my trash page is 34,787, and my catch-all is 11,722, for a total of 143,280. So with that being for just three fics, I shudder to think what my actual word count is for 101 fics lol.

^^The funny thing is, none of these were fandoms I was overly into/participated in much, but they're way more popular than my favored fandoms, which is why none of what I'm TRULY proud of is listed in my top kudos ranking. Ah well.
5. Do you respond to comments? I do! In the past, I've always made friends through reviews/reviewing, so I always respond to comments and leave comments on works I've enjoyed. :) I really wish engagement/fic friendships were more encouraged these days.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Uhh, probably Folie a Deux (H.annibal) or To K.iss, to Consume (Turn). OH, and Let the Weary Rest (Turn), where I killed off Ben lol.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? After 2020, pretty much all of my fics had happy endings. The World is Made Wrong made me happiest though, I'd say.
8. Do you get hate on fics? I'd rather not jinx myself, but I haven't since I was a kiddo! And that hate was deserved tbh, cuz they were just telling me I wrote xyz wrong since I was a child/didn't bother to research.
9. Do you write s.mut? *gestures vaguely at my trash page* Uh. Yeah. lol I don't really have a specific type I write, beyond M/F, if that's what you're asking -- the specific scenarios are typically a case-by-case basis.
10. Do you write crossovers? I used to write quite a few! Nowadays, I save that more for things like RP and edits, though I do still enjoy them. Sometimes, crossovers work better than canon, I said what I said.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? I have! But I was like 13 at the time, and the person posted it in the same ship/fandom, so Idk what their plan was lol. Fortunately, they deleted it the day I reviewed.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Yes! A few times, actually (all for the H.annibal fandom).
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Sure have! They're all RP-turned-fics though, cuz I've never actually asked someone to write something who wasn't an RPer themselves.
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship? Probably David/Maddie from Moonlighting. They're timeless! <3
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I suppose my time travel romcom. It's basically me rewriting a book I've already created, but altering it for the Turn universe. Even though it's fun, it's kind of boring repurposing my old work, and most especially when there's so little engagement. I flourish on comments, alas. Other than that, I mostly tend to finish my works!
16. What are your writing strengths? An editor once told me my strengths are my dialogue and humor. She equated the first 20 pages of my book (a recent work) to a Shakespearean comedy, which really tickled me, ngl.
17. What are your writing weaknesses? World-building! I've improved with this by a lot, but I genuinely do think fic writers are conditioned to stop describing settings/appearance thanks to our audiences already KNOWING, and thus, our OG works suffer for it. Mine certainly do!
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I wouldn't do it personally, since I doubt it'd translate well, but I encourage others to do it! I'll still read!
19. First fandom you wrote for? C.owboy B.ebop.
20. Favorite fic you’ve written? Probably The World is Made Wrong, since I've since reworked it and I'm still very proud of how that second run-through turned out (not the one available on AO3 -- that version is in all its heinous first draft glory lol).

I figured there's a really big pull for Yeji to be the best in the business when it comes to eyes, but me personally, there's nobody's gaze stronger than Minnie's. Like, you just know those eyes screams lust and I think it just gives her a really strong feeling from her when you're staring into her eyes. Not to mention how her eyes literally fit any type of contact lenses which makes her look very versatile and her eye colors really fun to watch every comeback cuz you know she'll rock each and every one of them.
MOUTH
I'm a big mouth/lips enjoyer so there's so many I would choose ngl. So some honorable mentions are Wonyoung, Nayeon and Yeri. But Yunjin, oh Yunjin, my pookie bear, my sunshine....okay I'll stop my bad. Yunjin's lips and how she likes to show off her expression with her plump lips is just pure ecstasy. Now I will say this, not the biggest feet guy, I honestly like thighs as the best feature in legs. So I was blanking here. OVERALL BODY
Another bias pick, yes I know. but it's fucking JIHYO! I can't say there's any flaws in this woman, absolute zero. From top to bottom, there's just nothing bad about her looks. If you combine every good feature to be looking like an idol, Jihyo has them all (tbf I think most, if not all idols has the perfect body in beauty standards) but Jihyo's is to me, the best built kpop idol. Any part of her is just cummable 100/10 she's a go to lewd, especially if you just met someone online and was like trying to lewd them an idol, Jihyo is probably one of your picks!

ANYWAY, since we're sadly unable to list fics that are WIP/just snippets/still exist entirely in our own heads, this is really a 'favorite microfics in no particular order' list, but oh well!
this universe of you and me (we'll make ourselves inevitable)
The only non-microfic I've published (so far), I have Big Ideas for this one but actually getting it on the page is proving... difficult. So for now it's a oneshot, but I like a lot of the writing and it manages to fit in a lot of how I see these two, in small ways. There's also a lot of things that are technically foreshadowing, again dependent on if I ever get this finished, but I liked being able to write a bit of baby!Prongsfoot as well as how James as his parents' spoiled 'miracle baby' affected his view of himself in the world.
10. Hope
More tiny James! I love writing him and his parents and the little glimpse into how I see their home, and I find the idea of a six-year-old James trying to walk to London to see Sirius pretty damn adorable, and I like to think I conveyed the cuteness pretty well. <3
11. Justice
I'm kind of proud that I was able to fit all four Marauders into 500 words! I also like how I got a little characterization in there for each of the boys in how they approach the idea of Unforgivables, and of course I'm happy whenever I get to write Prongsfoot cuddles and Sirius talking to a sleeping or otherwise oblivious James!
15. Role
One of my attempts to figure out the Lily-James-Sirius dynamic, which I'm pretty fond of because it gets close to how I see their school-era dynamic. Unpopular opinion: I don't think Sirius and Lily would have been friends at Hogwarts because it would have taken more than a year or two for Sirius to accept anyone else having any influence over James, and Lily would be rightfully exasperated by James' ongoing prioritization of Sirius. I think this would be the case even if James and Sirius were completely platonic, never mind in a non-platonic context as in this microfic.

Angels pov
Angel woke up with a killer headache. Groaning as they opened their eyes. To say they felt like shit would be an understatement. They drank more than they would like to admit. Yesterday was the exact date Angel and David broke up. Three months ago.
Their memory hazy. Fog filling their mind. Deciding to get out of bed and get a glass of water. Angel looked to their side. Seeing the bed David less. It still felt weird. After 3 months they thought they would get used to the feeling of always missing him. But they hadn't.
Angel needed to here David's voice. Deciding they would call him. Desperate. They were desperate to talk to him.
They held the phone to their ear waiting for him to pick up. Angel looked at the time realizing he was probably asleep. But unable to just hang up they left a message.
Angel dragged in a deep breath before starting.
"picture perfect memories scattered all around the floor...'' they had gotten mostly used to always seeing memories of them with David. They never left. The memories always ran in their mind unable to stop.
''reaching for the phone cause, I can't fight it anymore..''
They let out a shaky breath. ''and I wonder if I ever cross your mind." chuckling they whispered. "for me it happens all the time.''
They were going to let it out. Everything that Angel had been bottling up for the past few months. They were going to say it.
"It's a quarter after one... I'm all alone and I-'' they sniffed "I need you.. now. I need you now Davey. I told myself I wouldn't call but I lost all control and.... I really, really need you." Angel sobbed.
David's pov
David laid on his bed. staring at the ceiling unable to sleep. Last night Did not go as planned. He had a whole speech he was going to say. He was going to win his Angel back. And then everything would be fixed and his heart would be put back together. But he had that fucking meeting to attend and by the time it finished they would have already been asleep.
He sighed when his phone started ringing. Deciding to just leave it to ring. Who would call him at-
"Hi Davey-''
No. No. No. There was no possibility that Angel would be calling him. But fuck he couldn't forget that voice. He sat up straight. Staring at his phone like it was holding an axe.
He heard their shaky breathing. His heart galloping at the sound. They sounded like they were about to cry.

What?
"reaching for the phone cause I can't fight it anymore.."
I'm always here Angel, always.
"and I wonder if I ever cross your mind..."
All the damn time baby.
He heard them chuckle. But not of humor.

Why were they calling? Were they in trouble? Were they hurt?
The thought alone had his breathing shallow.
"It's a quarter after one... I'm all alone and I-" he heard them sniff "I need you-''
That was all it took. 3 simple words and David was on his feet frantic searching for his clothes. If they needed him he was there no questions asked.
Sprinting toward his car. Phone in hand. Call unanswered. As they went on about needing him. And he knew. Right then. He would always be there. With whatever they needed.
He was driving like a maniac. But desperation filled his soul with the need to get back to Angel.
"I can't stop looking at the door. I keep waiting for you to burst through and hold me. God, I want to be back in your arms..."
I want you back in them.
"I need you... Please, please. Come here please-" they sobbed.
No. Don't cry baby. Not over me. Never over me.
''I'm sorry, that I'm a burden to you... But I really fucking need you, Davey please."
Never. You could never be a burden.

I love you more than you can imagine Angel.
The car came to an abrupt halt as David reached Babe and Asher's apartment. Sprinting. Taking two steps at a time he was beyond desperate to get to angel. Nothing could stop him.
Angels pov
They dropped their phone at the sudden sound of banging against the apartment door. They slowly made their way over to the door. Who would be here at one-forty five in the morning.
They gasped at the realization. No. It couldn't be David. He didn't answer their call so he had to be asleep. There was no way. Still there was a little spark of hope brewing inside them.
Angel opened the door with hesitation. Gasping as they saw David standing there. His chest heaving. Like he had just been running.
"Come here.'' He whispered. Pulling them tightly to his chest. He buried his face in their hair.
Angel reveled in the feeling of David's arms around their waist. Their face pressed up against his chest. It felt good. They felt good. They felt.... Home.
David took their face in his hands. Wiping away the tears that escaped.
Angel whispered. Lost in the moment. "Davey-"
"No. wait.... Let me-" he took a deep breath in a desperate attempt to calm his nerves. "Let me say this first.... It has been a long 3 months... I'm sorry, Angel..." he swallowed the lump in his throat.
"Fuck, you have no idea how sorry. I never should, I-"
"I know... It's okay-''
His voice hoarse and raspy as he whispered "It's not. I don't know what happened to me.... But baby I'm back. Your David is back... He's not going anywhere. I promise. And I vow to you never to break that promise again..''
Angel nodded gripping David's t-shirt pulling him closer. His arms sinking to their waist pulling them closer.
"Can I kiss you?" he asked aching to join their lips.
Angel nodded. "Do you really have to ask?''
The shifter chuckled. "I suppose not...''
David slowly tipped his head down. bringing Angel in for a soft and slow kiss. Sparks flying between them as He pressed their body against his deepening the kiss.
They broke apart gasping for air.
"I want you angel for worse or for better... And I know after everything you might not be ready... But I would wait... For you I would wait forever...."
Angel grinned "where did 'David no mushy bullshit Shaw' go?" pulling out their best mimicking of David's voice.
He let out a hefty chuckle. "Just let me do this you little snot.... I lost my mind and I hurt you. I'm beyond sorry.... But I am better now, Angel. Give me another chance. Please, baby, I can be the man you want me to be..."

Passage:
When you get held captive for 2 months, lines get blurry.
"Did you think you could get rid of me that easy?" Slade chuckled. “Ah, kiddo. It’s going to take a lot more than a little push to kill me” He dragged his sword against the floor. "Normal people don't survive that"
He climbed out from under the desk, and made his way to the middle of the room to have the most space to fight back. “Weird flex but okay”
Just the whole Slade and Robin thing-
AYO MY SLADE AND ROBIN FIC???? Ngl that was a jumpscare lmaooooo
Okay so this fic started because I just really really wanted to write a renegade fic and I had pieces of it written in my draft but never like a full thing and I still have some in my drafts- but I decided to flesh it out and boom the renegade fic was born
I wanted a fun banter between them (actually lemme see the drafts I can find) on second thought let’s not- (I found them but it’s kinda like not the best) okay wait timeout I kinda ate with this-
Here’s some of the other drafts that inspired it but didn’t make the cut:
Scene:
No no no this wasn't supposed to happen. Robin stared down at his team mates, not really processing anything at all, all crying out in pain on the ground while he held the knife. None of this was supposed to happen, they had an agreement.
His friends. The people he grew close with and called them a second family. They laughed together, cried together, worked together. They were supposed to grow up together. He wasn't supposed to be the source of their pain.
"Slade stop it" he begged. "SLADE I AGREED TO DO EVERYTHING YOU WANTED ME TO DO. STOP IT"
"You didn't do everything"
"I don't kill"
"Well, face the consequences"
Dick had a moral crisis. He couldn't block out his friends screams. At that moment he made a split second decision. He grabbed the knife and held it to his throat.
"Stop it or I'll cut" Dick gave an ultimatum. He didn't have a death wish but if it was his friends or himself? He'd sacrifice himself in a heartbeat.
"Don't do it" Wally managed to get out through the blur of pain.
"I'm sorry"
Tense seconds went by, and Dick drove the knife deeper into his skin. He cut through a thin layer of skin, he could feel the blood drip down his throat.
After a minute the screams stopped
"Well-played" Claps echoed from his com. "It'll only work once Grayson. You aren't as valuable as you think. Return to base or I'll start it again" As a final note, Dick was shocked by his own bodysuit. Wasting no time, he gave a two-fingered salute and retreated.
He doesn't know when he'll see his friends again, or his dad. But until it's over he hopes to never see them again. He can't afford to hurt them. So what if it costs him his life? They'll be safe and that's all that mattered.

I have other scenes but this one of my favorites. The others were uh not the best written but I don’t mind cause I just wrote them to get the idea out
But for the specific scene in the ask, it didn’t change too much I really did want the “weird flex but okay” bit to stay the stuff that changed in the fic was how slade was introduced and the timeline of it all like deciding if I wanted to be an aftermath fic or a during the arc, and all that jazz
Slade being creepy with the dragging the swords was also intentional I wanted him to have that mysterious vibe and I think I showed that pretty well
By far one of the fics I’m most proud of and my most popular one!
