Remember the 6 year old girl who was surrounded by Israeli tanks and the red crescent couldn't reach her? Her name is Hind Hamadeh. Here you can hear the phone call her 15 year old sister, Layan Hamadeh, made with the medics. She was killed exactly a moment later including all people in the car, except for 6 year old Hind who was stuck in the car with the dead bodies of her family, Israeli tanks and IDF surrounding her, shooting, preventing anybody to reach her.
That was last night (29.1.24). Today, still nothing. The fate of Hind remains unknown.
palestine red crescent ambulance team went to rescue her yesterday evening, but they have not returned as of now. We lost contact with them about 18 hours ago, and we still remain unaware of their fate and whether they succeeded in evacuating her or not.
Please, share Hind's story as much as you can on any platform. We need to know what happened to her. Put yourself in her place, how terrified she must be. Don't scroll past this.
This is Hind.

Every recipient is on Epstein’s flight log … including Barack Obama.
Was this some sort of back door sicko “Island participation” award?

"Listen guys, there is no sound of planes (Israel military drones), there is a truce now guys and when I heard about it i was so happy. But it's a temporary truce, only for four days. I pray that during those four days things will get solved and it becomes a forever truce. I swear life is beautiful without the sound of those planes, i'm really happy guys, i swear I'm so happy."
i had to share this here because i can't imagine how Palestinians must feel. to know that there is nowhere to hide, nowhere is safe. not hospitals, nor schools, nor refugee camps, nor mosques, nor churches, nor ambulances, nowhere. every building, every street is a bombing target. the feeling of dread knowing that the killings will resume after four days and yet they hold on to the silver linings.

whenever you see stuff which is like "edgy kirby" or something along those lines you can really tell if someone has played the games because that "kirby kills gods over cake thing" This doesn't happen.
So here's the thing kirby does go after cake in 1 game. Thats squeak squad. Where kirby's cake gets stolen by... a gang of theives... hmm that doesn't seem godlike to me hmm...
look the story ends up with kirby and daroach accidentally opening the evil chest containing dark nebula who, literally has no lore, you can hardly call them a god at all. And also the reason kirby attacks dark nebula isn't about the cake??? Dark Nebula POSSESSES A GUY IN FRONT OF HIM WHO ATTACKS HIM!!! i cant even, please do your research before you say stuff... smh

am i watching the winter embrace on repeat and staring at joels hand so gently on her cheek as she looks up at him in such an unbelieving manner because he shouldn’t be there because he’s half dead in that basement except he is there and he’s holding her and his touch is soft and comforting and protective and gentle and it brings her back to the present and helps her realize that she’s safe now because he’s here bur also that he is alive and here with her and she doesn’t have to worry about her worst fear coming true anymore because she can feel his hand on her cheek and his arms wrapped around her and hear the sound of his voice and see the alive look in his eyes? yeah.

i genuinely don't think a story's worldbuilding and lore has ever drawn me in the way that check please did. it's been years and i still think about it every day. the characters and plot were always superb but i think what has stuck with me the most is the depth of the settings and how everything feels so lived in and tangible. everyone wants to make a fake world and town and university but no one else has EVER done it that well

I cannot breathe. These are the children of gaza, utterly obliterated by Israeli bombs.
I remember when a father said on live tv last month that if his son died may he rest in peace, but he shouldn't have to witness him dying that way, with his brain spilling out and his little tiny arm missing. That was a month ago. Now, israel is dropping more brutal missiles, using Palestine as a testing ground for all kinds of horrible weapons.
Under the cut, a video. Massive trigger warning. Remember that there are more than 7000 kids killed by Israel, not very different from this child here.

Transmisogyny is very real, very targeted, and very awful, but I think where ppl are coming from in criticism of the TMA/TME labels, is that it may seem like inventing and reinforcing a different kind of binary in a way when the human experience is very complex. And re: the outing part, I think people sometimes forget even amongst our peers in the queer community, no one is actually entitled to information about someone else's transition, or assigned sex at birth
Tumblr media
i dont personally see it as a cut and dry binary when i mentioned that the terms arent perfect bc obviously they dont always include intersex trans peoples experiences And racialized views towards womanhood/what is seen masculine or "man like". its not meant to really be one when these experiences can overlap so often, plus it lumps in cis men / trans men / cis women / afab nonbinary people in one so thats a Hell of a "binary". our experiences Are complex and we dont all live in the us/western world, so we can all have different experiences and still have it be a trans and queer experience that trans and intersex people share! and thats a really good point too! intersex women Do have shared experiences with transfems as people who are degendered and seen as lesser bc of cagab. but we can share experiences and still be transphobic or transmisogynistic to other people. the problem lies with how pervasive and universal transmisogyny is, and how it affects transfems everywhere regardless of where they live. its inescapable!
and i feel like saying that it outs us queer people when the question the terms are asking is, do you experience transmisogyny... is a bit disingenuous. when we are discussing transmisogyny, our cagab and axes of oppression does very much matter. its not a top-down, "im more oppressed than You" kind of thing, but we perpetuate it! even if we share experiences, that doesnt mean we cant still put each other down and be transmisogynistic towards transfems, thats the whole point!
simply put, its language to describe often unique lived experiences that a transfem person has in a patriarchal society where they are subjugated, punished, and killed for being "failed men", and degendered and denied trans womanhood as a result. how transfems are expected to be meek doormats and shoulder our collective societal abuse lest we see them as inherent abusers and rapists bc of their cagab, and how every single thing a transfem does is under scrutiny bc of them being """male-adjacent""" (made a face typing that shit out but its how its seen.) and having to shrink themselves down to a shell of themselves for the Chance to be treated as a person.
its obviously not a cure all term to neatly describe every single experience we as queer people have in a nice little box, but its a Start! we cannot ignore how insanely transmisogynistic society and our online spaces are, so having language to talk about it is important as we expand our understanding of it and critique it along the way! bloomfilters on twitter describes this much better than i can with this thread, i follow her and their transfeminine oppression analyses are super well written and easy to understand and shes super smart and cool :]
