A loud entrance fitting for a loud fellow... Be still, for there is a strange individual.

The spaces of Diasomnia, although eerie, can be quite welcoming to its visitors. However, this doesn't come across easily due to its dark, uninviting atmosphere. Thus, it's necessary for the presence of comic relief to lighten it all up.

Hailing from the warm waters of the Indo-Pacific and Red Sea, the cleaner shrimp has a very important role in the coral reef community. Also known as the scarlet skunk cleaner, this crustacean sensation uses its bright coloration to advertise its services to large fish.

The shrimp sets up shop on the reef at a “cleaning station” where other shrimp and fish cleaners gather. When a “client” fish arrives, the tiny shrimp can slide in and out of gill slits, inside the mouth, and roam all about the fish’s body, removing dead skin and parasites.

This cleaning arrangement is symbiotic—the shrimp gets to pick tasty treats off the fish, and the fish gets groomed. Shrimp come in handy when you don’t have hands 🤷

I know there's a lot of people out there that think Dark and Light should have a romantic relationship, but, hear me out...

Twin siblings. Make 'em twin brothers. Yin and yang, what have you, but they're basically total opposites in some very key ways. One example, Dark is easily flustered and takes things to heart a lot. Light is more unflappable and clearly settled into his own skin. Makes arguments the most frustrating things ever for Dark given that he'll be all ready to bleed off the resentment he has from being thought of as 'the bad one' and Light just, doesn't match his energy. Doesn't get mad. Absolutely sees the projection for what it is, and Dark is just no no no no I wanna be pissed off at something LET ME BE PISSED OFF!

And meanwhile Light's like sure, man, you can be pissed, but not at me because my existence isn't what's wrong here. We both know you're not mad because of ME specifically.

And Dark gets huffy because he's not gonna be able to correct all instances of nyctophobia on planet Earth. Though Light lets him rant a bit anyway because, hey, better than the guy stewing in private.

But yeah, sibling snarkiness and in-jokes. Silliness. 'Oh remember that time when you-' quickly followed by 'WE SAID WE WERE NEVER SPEAKING OF THIS AGAIN AND HERE YOU ARE SPEAKING OF IT'. Occasional moments of Twins being Twins.

once again i am begging everyone to reconsider ‘the batkids hate/mock/generally disagree with bruce adopting more kids’ trope for the far, far superior and far more hilarious option of the batkids not realizing that ‘average single dad adopts 0 kids per year. Bruce Wayne, who’s children keep dragging home their sad and in-need-of-dad friends, is an outlier and should not be counted’

How do you draw Ashley so well? He's invisible and just a bandage, yet I can really imagine where he is.

I sketch him out in full in every panel so I can keep track of where he is, only erasing him after everything in the panel is completed, like so:

Telegraphing his actions with only a few visible reference points is tricky; I have to plan ahead some to make sure there's enough stuff in the scene for him to interact with. I will be so glad when we get to a point where he's wearing actual clothes.

Love the idea of them finally finding some peace with themself and settling into a nice healthy routine with work

Part of me thinks BD would be out there finding themself, trying different pronouns, finding their colours (since they dyed their hair alot)

My personal bugbear is the phrases "triggering content" and "triggering themes." I know what people mean, but it drives me a little spare because a) while there are some more common triggers, anything can be a trigger, b) I'm not... sure... all of the "triggering content" people know that.

I just want to go "say what you mean, damn it!"

While I’m on my horror kick (sorry it’s finals week and I need smth to obsess over) thinking about how I would LOVE to draw horror/macabre themed tutu art. I mean fucking hell if we assume the main characters of the prince and the raven are around mytho’s age, princess tutu is about a bunch of dead kids and the next group of children doomed to relive their fates!! Then you’ve got all the raven stuff + things going weird because of the heart shards. THEN you’ve got the horror of complete loss of autonomy (fakir physically being forced to write Duck’s death, duck being forced to dance). Idk I’m sleepy but there is a horror take on princess tutu out there and I want to see it.
