I gotta make one thing absolutely clear - I would never harass anyone for creating content for this fandom. I love reading fanfiction, it got me through some dark times in my life, and I'm immensely grateful to anyone who spends their time and energy on giving us art in any form they like. Writers, gif creators, cosplayers, artists... the talent this fandom amassed is crazy to me.
If I see something that is not personally appealing to me, I do the healthy thing. I scroll past it. I do not engage. I stop reading and choose a different fanfiction that is more to my liking. As a content creator myself, I've experienced harassment over dozen times and I'd never wish that on anyone else, let alone harass anyone myself!!
And as to your question about the ships I enjoy! There's so many characters I love. So. Many. Why would I want to constrict myself to only one pairing when there's hundreds and hundreds of amazing ship dynamics to explore? Liking one ship does not mean I automatically hate all others, rest assured. My heart is big enough to hold them all 💕😌
