My "My Inner Demons" overhaul

alright, since I'm bored- here's what I got so far.

I renamed Asch's kingdom to Phobos, in reference to the original term of Daemos (probably an aphmau 'sound it out' name like Ein and whatnot.) With Mars' moons. Phobos and Deimos. While the general species of Asch's kingdom are referred to as Daemos.

Appropriately, I gave the kingdom a family name. Dacite, a type of Volcanic rock. Asch Dacite, Rhal Dacite. ectect.

Backstory time:

Noi Barter. I gave him the backstory of "sole survivor" from a long dead and fallen land, the story of a late bloomer/ someone whose actually more powerful than the rest. He just has amnesia. The key item being the locket around his neck, changed from a lightning bolt. To a sun shape. Spending most of his days fighting for his food, he found strength in stealth and being quiet. Due to having little muscle mass compared to his future companions made it easy for him to sneak into Phobos. Being caught and eventually set up for Execution, Asch recruited him. Being the last addition and stuff. (Similar to the original story, but I put a bigger spin on it since we know very little of a majority of them.))

Leif and Pierce now come from very different kingdoms. Since.. an entire universe dedicated to one kingdom is weird.

Feng Leif, or just Leif appropriately is from a Chinese-inspired kingdom, exiled for assassination crimes, later hired by Asch the same way in canon. And leaning into another horned creature from the same culture, the Dragon. While his name was chosen by himself after seeing it somewhere. While knowing it correlates to wind, which I HC him being rather proficient in using it with magic. And instead of.. entirely insane maniac, he's definitely smarter than he appears. Not book smart, but very street smart and survival wise. The insanity is a choice for him. Instead of being soothed/ calmed by an E-girl over time. (/lh j)

(The rest of the designs are being worked on. I'll make full body posts later. )) Pierce Stone, making him originate from a Japanese-inspired kingdom. Y'know, with his kimono and whatnot, I'm leaning into my other culture fixation! Youkai. I made Pierce an Oni. A wanderer that eventually got hired like the rest, by Asch himself. How? I'm toying with the idea Pierce signed up for a tournament/ exhibition kind of event in Phobos. Recognized by Asch and eventually hired.

Rhys Wynn, (It's pronounced Reese, Aphmau.) is a scholar from Phobos. Someone finally from the same Kingdom as Asch. Designated by Lady Grandma to be an assistant to Asch. It's.. pretty straight forward with him, I'd say.

Okay, so I was watching one of Aphmaus more recent video, (yes I watch her current content, it is how I discovered her) , and in the video, The grim reaper showed up, but in the form of Noi, and he looked like this:

So, thinking this design was cool, I decided to draw my own interpretation of this design, which looks like this:

I decided to make him more skeletal and in general make him more spooky. (He’s saying “Your Time Is Up!” Btw)

Oops! Got a major hyperfixation! It's time for some My Inner Demons character designs! I intend to draw these hunks much more often, so I made references based off of official art and models for them (also, so I don't have to keep frickin' digging for art to have references lmao). I've also put the five together 'cause I'd think it's useful to show the height differences. Is Noi still a Daemos or no? You said daemos are born in the abyss to become shadow paladins yet noi is at the bottom

Oh well thats easy to answer really, Noi is a hybrid daemos, a much rarer evolution effect than most hybrids, which also hybrids come from how magic is seeping into the modern dimension, thats the worlds own explanation for why characters in Padian can use magic and for characters like aaron or nana and many others to also have their animal like features, but to cut it short...

Noi is a daemos, he just was never born in the abyss naturally, he was a padian born daemos, just like travis actually, so making him somewhat weaker than normal daemos, which shows how he needs to go through each rank like any other shadow squire would, no matter if hes daemos or not.

(By the way, Noi isnt bullied by his fellow daemos, they actually help him adjust to the abyss and teach him some daemos fighting styles since noi needs to know some fighting strategy if he really wants to move up the ranks and speak to shad, leif is still alittle shit tho, just more in an annoying older brother kinda way i suppose)

A/N: Asch dating headcannons YIPPEEE! Finally someone requested M.I.D which is fun to write since Asch in art is AWOOGA! But he isn’t my favourite nehehehe…

- Okay Asch has anger issues and what’s even more annoying is how he was suppose to be choosing an future partner for him - He stood infront of all the people that were chosen and each one appearing he grew more aggravated it was useless to have an partner with this magic crisis going on

- If you were human and he arrived to earth with his knights it would be this whole thing - Asch wouldn’t notice first about how he feels about you… It may seem like how he felt with Ava just for a moment then he saw you

- He had his breath taken away and he couldn’t help but be pulled in

- You were more obedient yes but yet you had this spark that made him question himself - Rhys noticed this and was quite confused and so was Rhys both agreeing that you may have casted an spell... but you didn't cast one that's the thing you just existed - Asch's personality is demanding, rude, and harsh. He likes to do everything his way. Most of the time he acts tough and has an interest in intimidating people... but with you he has an soft side which made him feel weak and pissed him off - Though when you told him he could have an weak side he was confused yet calm not wanting to be pissed off - He has his ups and downs so it's hard for him yet you try help him the best you could. - He burnt you by accident once and he panicked checking your burn... he showed weakness and he grew even more annoyed at himself - He would 'Command' you to or allow himself to just wrap his arms around your waist - Asch command you to stay beside his side which was confusing to you but you stood beside him - Asch was waving dismissively to his knights who stared at you with absolute confusion as Asch threatened their heads if they questioned him - One day you asked him if he ever felt love - He didn't know what to say and told you how daemos call it weak and you couldn't help but feel pity for him and all other daemos - One day he asked to court you... you were confused but when the other Daemos gasped the explained it was well... even more confusing till Ava was laughing and told you Asch wanted to date you - You took an page out of Ava's book and fainted - Asch would court you doing grand gestures as you stare at him with confusion - I have been convince asch would have Asthma! - Asch should has asthma because of his fire's smoke because he uses his fire very often !! - He holds your hand and looks away as you stare confusingly at him while he tells you not to question him - He does dumb things to impress you which always works - You kissing him on the cheek makes him blush - One time you accidentally touched his horns out of pure curiosity and he froze blushing telling you not to do that - Another time of you being very questionable and weird was when you slept in his room the next day he see’s you trying to sneak away with his red cape… - He chased you around as you screamed for help - Pierce had protected you as Lief join in with Asch to chase you down out of pure entertainment - Random kisses secretly and gets pretty jealous easily

- Even if your Human and He is daemos he will try his best…. - He holds you close and tries hard not to let them wise you as a magic source… he had grown fond of you and won’t let others try to take you from his grasps.

Hi Aphblr. I just did a marathon of My Inner Demons: it's perfect. The guys are perfect, the jokes are perfect.

It's ending is not perfect.

I need people to tell me what they would have wanted from a season 2 or even just for a finale. I need to cope and my coping mechanism is altering reality to fit the needs of the universe.

Also Pierce is still the best character after 4 years
