You told yourself you weren't a believer. People talked about magic as if they had seen it happen but you were doubtful, even when your weak grandma asked you to get a potion for her. When doctors couldn't help, she always turned to alternative methods even though you thought just taking her pills could have helped her. But no, she insisted, put the money into your hands and told you to ask for Han halmeoni's usual. You gritted your teeth but despite not saying it, you were upset how people out there could take advantage of naive elders with their expensive fake herb drinks. Though, you knew better than anyone that arguing with your grandma wouldn't have led anywhere since she was just as stubborn as you. So you agreed with a smile and promised you would get the potion the next day.
Finding the shop called Magic Island – what an obnoxious name for real – was easier than you thought. Witchcraft wasn't hunted or looked down upon as it used to be but you really didn't expect to find it between a coffee shop and a bookstore. From outside it seemed like any other store with its glass windows though it was more colourful and lively than most due to the flowers by the door and the dreamcatcher on the door. You double checked the name and the address then tentatively pressed down on the handle.
As soon as you crossed the threshold, the smell of herbs and spices, burning candle scents and warmth hit you in waves. The whole place gave off a very soothing and welcoming vibe and while the interior was even more colourful than the outside, nothing stood out as much as the vivid blue hair of the guy behind the counter.
"Hello, how can I help you?" he inquired, voice mellow and smile kind. The thin, light blue sweater he wore showed a bit of one of his collarbones and the dangling earring he had in one ear had small blue stones in it. You felt like you had never seen anybody like him.
"I came to pick up something for my grandma, Han halmeoni's usual potion," you recited the rehearsed speech before you could have blurted out something rude. At the mention of your granny, the cashier boy's eyes lit up and he smiled wider.
"Ah, just a minute," he excused himself and leaned down, opening small cabinets full of folies and cans under the counter until he found the glass of the thick green liquid. "Is halmeoni alright though? Has her knee been acting up again?" he asked while he rang up the product and you shouldn't have been surprised that your grandma probably told him about all her life.
"It's her waist this time," you said curtly, wanting to get over the payment as soon as possible. But even after the machine beeped accepting your credit card, the boy with his crazy hair switched on his employee of the mouth smile and kept you there with his rambling:
"It seems like you're quite stressed and anxious recently. Wouldn't you like some chamomile-lavender tea? Or we have a peppermint-citrus cream for headaches, too or–"
"I'm fine," you cut him off not too nicely. Argh... you hated when cashiers were so noisy and he even acted like he knew you just because you weren't in a good mood today but that had nothing to do with your usual exam stress. He couldn't have known about that anyway. And as if some cream would have helped!
The next time you saw the boy he had yellow locks. The unnatural, bright yellow like the fermented radish you liked so much with your traditional Korean dishes. Of course, you didn't go to his shop out of boredom or happiness but for your grandmother's sake you didn't want her to travel across half the city just to get her favourite tea leaves for better digestion. It had been about two months since you had visited the colourful shop, so the changes shouldn't have taken you so aback – after all every shop was usually decorated according to the season – and yet, for a moment you just stood there in the bright warmth of the sunlit room full of buttercups and sunflowers. It almost seemed like the same cashier guy as last time had a hair colour to fit the enterieur but that sounded a bit too ridiculous. Who would have dyed their hair because of their workplace's new decoration? Though who worked at a witch shop in the first place?
"Hi! How can I help you today?" the boy, Yeonjun according to his name tag, flashed a beaming smile at you. He seemed really giddy all the time, maybe being surrounded by all these herbs all day long did something to his brain… or maybe got him high.
"I would like to have a packet of Island of Calm tea," you told him straight, wanting to make it a real quick in and out.
"Ah, for your grandma? I'm glad it helps her," the boy smiled at you sweetly and started humming an annoyingly cheerful song while preparing the packet neatly. He wrapped it up, put on a sticker with good wishes before he would have turned to the cashier machine.
You had already prepared with your wallet but instead of letting you know the price, this Yeonjun guy decided to play with your nerves.
"Sorry about the other day if I came off too strong. We have amulets too if you prefer…"
You slammed down the money on the counter, grabbed the tea and turned to walk out on him before he could have finished that. But...
"It will rain today. Take an umbrella," he shouted after you which only made you snicker.
Hah, who was this guy? He should have minded his own business! The weather forecast didn't say anything about rain anyways.
"I'm fine," you bit at him and walked out.
It didn't even take 10 minutes though for you to get soaking wet in a sudden summer downpour. Under your breath you kept cursing the guy from the magic shop although he had nothing to do with the rain. He just had a good guess.
You really didn't want to go back to the shop. It gave you the chills, like that uneasiness in the stomach that made you want to throw up. You didn't want to go back because you didn't want to hear that crazy hair coloured guy's unwanted preaching about your stress level. You might have been a bit on the edge these days but you were okay, you could handle it. Even if you wished your group partners to Hell sometimes because they couldn't even answer your questions about the schedule and the presentation in your KKT group chat, even if your teacher was a pain in the ass moving the classes as he pleased as if you had nothing better to do. Even if an upcoming family gathering was unnerving you because you didn't want to hear them comparing you to your relatives. It was just a bad time, it would pass, you told yourself, nothing to whine about.
So you took a deep breath, list in hand and you raised your chin before you stepped inside the so-called magic shop. You planned ahead: going to the counter, handing over the list, pretending to get a phone call and leave. Easy and interaction-free. But the moment you stepped inside, the sight this time took your breath away.  You really didn't understand how and why the store changed its interior so drastically and so frequently but this look was even more breathtaking than the ones before.
The whole place had a pink hue, it even smelled like cotton candy and everything had this rosy colour from afar. The ceiling looked like a pink sky with white cloud decorations made of cotton. The dreamcatchers and amulets hanging down all sparkled in the shade of blue hour and you forgot why you came for a moment.
"Pretty, isn't it?" A voice spoke up from beside you and only then you realised that the cashier boy wasn't behind the counter like usual but instead he was walking between the shelves in the book section, holding a few volumes in his arms. You jumped at his sudden closeness, blinking up at him surprised and it took you a moment too long to process what you had been seeing.
The guy had bright pink hair.
And it looked strangely good on him.
"Are you okay?" he asked, concerned and only then you realised that you had been staring. At the way his locks looked against his tanned forehead. At the way he pulled his mouth into a gentle smile and suddenly you felt like the air was getting sucked out of your lungs. What the hell were you doing? Why did he suddenly have such an effect on you?
"Yeah, I'm fine," you muttered, clearing your throat, stepping away.
You walked up to the counter confidently and the boy didn't try to stop you. He didn't say anything, not even as he followed you and took your paper with the list your grandma suddenly needed after you complained to her about the nosy guy in the shop. He prepared the small box with different herbs, creams and lucky charms wordlessly which was a bit unsettling. You only met him twice before yet it seemed like it was out of character for him. But you tried not to think too much into it and just watched him work.
When Yeonjun read your total out loud for you and you handed your card to him there was something knowing in his eyes that you couldn't quite put a finger on.
"You know you should really stop saying you're fine when you aren't," he spoke up finally when he gave you back the plastic but instead of letting it go, he looked down on your hand intently. Not understanding the reason behind it you followed his gaze and saw that you managed to cut your finger earlier with the paper when you got startled. You didn't even feel it up until then even though it drew a bit of blood, a few drops drying on your index finger.
"Let me," the boy muttered as he let go and looked around on a shelf not far from the counter.
"It's nothing really," you protested but you felt bad because he shouldn't have been worried about you just because it was him who got you scared. You should have paid more attention.
"It could get infected," he reasoned as he got back with some lotion in a small capsule. He took your hand, gentle and you realised that his hands were soft despite the calluses on his fingertips. Not to mention, it was endearing how attentive he was, even sticking out his tongue a bit in concentration as he put a plaster over the oil-coated wound.
"Thanks," you breathed not really knowing what else you could say and you couldn't even anymore, not with the way he smiled at you, warm like the Sun and soothing like spring breezes.
As you were leaving you couldn't help but think that the way he said those words about you pretending to be okay was about more than just your scar. Maybe he had a great sense for such things.
It was not until you got home that you noticed the extra object in the packet you bought at the shop. You even double-checked with your grandma's list but a scent bag of herbs for better sleeping weren't on that and you didn't even pay for that, so how?
The answer was ridiculously easy: the cashier guy must have sneaked it into your bag, yet you didn't get his reason and why he always tried to have a say in your life but then you looked down on the cute pink plaster on your finger and decided to accept the gift. Even though you didn't believe in it, you put it under your pillow for the night like you were instructed. You almost forgot about it because by the time it was bedtime for you your head was full of unnecessary drama and thoughts that were driving you crazy. On nights like this it was hard to fall asleep because you had too many what ifs going on inside of your head. But this time, even before you could have realised it, you were already drifting off to sleep, tense shoulders relaxing, head empty. You didn't remember when you last slept so well.
So maybe it was confusion, gratitude or the mix of those two that led you back to the Magic Island only a few days later, this time without your grandma having to make you. This time you were expecting the change of interior, so the universe-like violet colours and planets flying around (must be some kind of trick) didn't take you that aback. Yeonjun was nowhere to be seen even though the bells rang prettily above the door when you arrived.
For once, you decided to take a look around, so tentatively you wandered deeper into the store, into parts you hadn't been before. You had seen tarot cards in one corner and Ouija boards in another, there were books about ghosts and other dimensions. There was a whole section about curses and a closed off one for potions. You were reading some of the ridiculously long tea names (and why does The night when the world has burned, we are… has chilli in it anyways?) when you heard someone clear their throat. You turned around to face them but your hello died on the tip of your tongue.
Now Yeonjun's hair was purple, that dark but warm kind, like nights on which the sky seemed to embrace you.
"Does halmeoni need something else?" he looked up at you with a genuine, kind smile.
"No, I... Actually I just wanted to thank you for the scent bag," you muttered under your nose, a bit embarrassed but determined to be a bigger person and not act petty over an act of kindness.
"Did it help?" Yeonjun's eyes lit up immediately, straight up happily when you nodded. The smile on his face widened. "Then you're welcome."
You just stood there, uncertain, not knowing what to say or do because apparently he was well aware that he gifted you that and it seemed like he didn't expect anything in return. Not to mention that he figured out that you barely had any sleep lately and cinnamon was one of your favourite scents. Was it just a coincidence? Or did the bags under your eyes betray you like that? Was cinnamon just a lucky guess?
"How did you know?" you blurted out eventually, not getting over your internal struggle. For a moment Yeonjun just looked at you, really looked as if he tried to figure you out and he was rather tentative when he spoke up:
"You don't believe in magic, do you?"
You raised an eyebrow as if asking: seriously? at which he let out a chuckle. His laughter made such a pleasant sound!
"Well, then you could say it was just a good hunch," he shrugged and his carefree attitude made you even more curious, throwing you more recklessly into the unknown.
"And if I said I believe in it?" you wondered out loud and the cashier guy looked back at you as if it was a challenge. Maybe it was since you were interested in how he would try to convince you about magic being real.
"It's your aura," he said simply, looking at you and at the same time around you and started explaining:  "It has a different energy based on your mood and well-being. It wasn't that hard to figure out based on that."
You hummed, trying to see whether your rational mind could take it as an answer but even auras and halos and such seemed too... intangible for you. Yeonjun must have sensed your hesitance because a moment later he straightened his back and tilted his head.
"It's easier to show you," he offered, waiting, patient. He must have learned that being pushy with you didn't work because the more he insisted, the more you resisted. But putting it this way: him offering a chance for you to see and believe but with no pressure, it made you halt. Because all your life you had liked certain things. You liked plans, schedules, believing in things you saw or experienced. Maybe that's why magic had always been obnoxious for you: you had met with too many liars and fakes.
You slowly, tentatively nodded.
"Close your eyes," Yeonjun smiled at you encouragingly and albeit not liking the idea of becoming vulnerable even this much, you obeyed.  About five seconds passed before the boy called your name. "You can open them."
Not expecting any big change, you were at a loss of words when Yeonjun stood in front of you with silver grey hair. And not just that! The shop's interior changed in a blink of a minute, too. It was no longer purple but rather monochrome, serious, angular.
"How?" you gasped in awe.
"Magic," Yeonjun smiled and laughed at you before explaining that his mother was a witch, so he's partly one too and that the shop is enchanted, changing based on his mood or will, similarly as his hair colour. It was still unbelievable but you couldn't deny the obvious, so instead of protesting against it anymore, you threw your dozen questions at the boy to which he answered very enthusiastically.
After that afternoon, you slowly started to become a regular at Magic Island. Not only when your grandma had an errand to run but you visited the shop even when you got tired of your scent bag's type or due to another excuse. It was easy to come up with those when you had so many questions. With Yeonjun by your side guiding you through a whole new world opened up in front of you. After your uni classes, you sometimes dropped by to read a book between the shelves about auras and the harmony with nature or potions that actually worked until Yeonjun found you there. Sometimes he called you out on never buying the books but it was only a friendly, teasing banter that ended up with him inviting you over for some herb tea matching your mood (a lot of sweet strawberry and rose mint lately). On other occasions, he joined you on the floor, leaning his back onto the bookshelf too, his arm almost brushing yours as he asked about what you were currently reading about.
He also told you a lot of fun stories and while chuckling over his jokes your stomach didn't ache only due to laughter. You hated to call this feeling as 'butterflies in your stomach' but you had no better word for it and being so good at reading your aura, Yeonjun must have known, too. Yet, he didn't say anything, so you decided to take matters into your hands.
When you opened the door of the magic store on that chilly December afternoon after finally finishing with your exams before winter break, the first thing that hit you was the cinnamon and plum scent. You inhaled deeply and smiled at the Christmassy atmosphere inside the store with the festive decoration. Yeonjun must have had the holiday spirit these days, you thought and it seemed like right because the boy walked out of the storage room in a cute snowman sweater and with faded lavender coloured hair.
"Heya, how was the exam?" he turned to you with a bright smile which you couldn't help but mimic as you walked up to the other side of the counter.
"Manageable," you shrugged, happy that you were finally done with it. Then before you could have chickened out during your conversation, you blurted out: "Do you perhaps have the opposite of love potions?"
"Like an antiserum? Did someone give you a love potion?" Yeonjun wiggled his eyebrows but his tone was kind of worried. Cute, you noted.
"No but I'd like this stupid crush gone," you sighed and even grimaced for impact, watching the boy's reaction closely but he seemed more curious and a bit confused than anything.
"Why?"
"I just..." You vaguely threw your hands up and pouted which Yeonjun must have found endearing because the mischievousness was back in his glittering dark eyes and the smirk was on his lips again as he leaned provocatively closer.
"And if I like you back?" he raised an eyebrow and the confidence in his voice made your jaw drop.
The audacity!
"I'm not talking about you!" you retorted right away but more out of pride and teasing than honesty. You couldn't hide that too well from the witch boy either as his grin only widened seeing your blushed cheeks.
"Too bad," he snickered playfully, his lower lip jutting out in a sulky pout. Then he pulled back in an instant, brushing his lavender hair out of his eyes with an overdramatic sigh. "And I was about to suggest a hot chocolate date..."
"A date you say?" you breathed with a hopeful smile and rested your palms on the counter while this time it was you who leaned closer. Not that it meant a lot because with Yeonjun's height, you just had to angle your neck even more sharply. At least until he decided to scrunch down to your level, dark orbs glimmering in the colourful lights of the shop.
"That I say," he nodded and briefly looked up prompting you to do the same only to see a white mistletoe slowly growing and hanging down above you.
"Don't get too ahead of yourself, mister," you flicked his forehead but giggled anyway knowing all too well that your aura must have been just as pink as your cheeks. But you didn't mind one bit, not until it was Yeonjun who made your world so colourful.

Kim Seokjin: Siblings
Your best friend invited you to his house for a sleepover, you were excited but when you knocked on the door bag in hand it opened to a young man a couple of years older than you. He was handsome. And you didn’t know what to say.
“Jin your friend is here” “Y/n come in”  “Who is that?” “That’s my older brother” Jin led you inside and to his room, “why do you ask?” “He is hot obvs”
“Oh” Jin felt kind of disappointed, another person had fallen in love with his brother and here he was in love with his clueless best friend.  “I’m just going to pee, don’t play the movie without me” you ran off ducking past Jin’s brother and you paused in the hall wanting to see what he thought about you?”
“Hey did you tell her?” “Tell her what?” “That you are madly in love with her and have been for years” “I can’t she just met you?” “What does that mean?”
“It means she is in love with you now everyone loves my handsome brother” you went to the bathroom and tried to ignore what you heard, your best friend loves you they were just joking maybe they weren’t talking about you you realised they didn’t even use your name. Yeah, you had just met his brother but maybe they had a visitor earlier today.
You sighed you had taken the floor for sleeping, you couldn’t sleep with all those thoughts but with the uncertainty that they were actually talking about you, you felt a wave of relaxation.
You climbed into the bed next to Jin and laid your head on his wide shoulder. It was in his sleep he said ‘I love you y/n’ it was as clear as day. Heart racing you turned burying your face into his chest and hugging him tightly. Who were you kidding you loved him and you hoped like hell he had meant you.
Min Yoongi: Barbershop
Yoongi worked at a barbershop, it wasn’t a hard job. He liked it because he never had to speak to women. Unless of course, a mother was bringing her son in which case he wouldn’t make eye contact and would request another staff member would take over. Yoongi had nothing against women but he got nervous around him his cheeks would burn the brightest red and he would stutter his way through the conversation. Then he would continue with his day beating himself up about what he should have said.
He was just finishing up some guy’s hair cut and his coworker grinned, “Hey I am going to get some coffee and lunch what do you want and I will bring it back?” “Uh coffee and something good” he shrugged “Alright, you think you will be okay?” “I am an adult, I can deal with it, I am not going to burn the place down”
He had spoken too soon, a girl came in. Long legs in a beautiful dress that fell so pretty over your hips curvaceous hips. Yoongi felt warm already focusing on the mirror and talking to his current client about booking in again. The client new Yoongi well enough to know his condition around women.
“Yes I will book again for a month” he teased the two went to the counter to pay subtly watching you scan the service price list. “You have a great day Yoongi” “Yeah see you round Hobi”  “Maybe you could ask her on a date?” Hoseok whispered earning a sprit from the spray bottle of Yoongi’s hip.
You approached and he starred at the computer cheeks pinked as he asked you politely questions, “I am just wanting to reshave the sides of my head”
He looked up shocked from his nervousness you lifted both sides of your hair to reveal that they were indeed shorter than the rest. He thought that was pretty badass and yet you still looked unbelievably cute with it.
“Right this way?” he began and you started asking him questions and his heart was thumping loudly and his cheeks were darkening some more. “Sorry, I am not good at talking well to others” “More specifically pretty women?” a regular stepped in and sat right next to you in the chair “The prettier the girl is the darker his cheeks get, I have never seen him this flustered”
“that’s enough” you scolded the man “My hair is on the line here don’t embarrass him further. “Tell me about her she must have been really pretty”
Jung Hoseok: Grilled cheese
You had been in Korea for two years now and working with the BigHit company as a backup dancer for concerts and things. Working alongside the TXT boys and one afternoon you stayed in the dance studio practising choreography when your phone started ringing. It was your sister back in your home country. She wanted to check on how you were doing and tell you about news from home, but all you could focus on was that she was eating a grilled cheese sandwich and your mouth watered.
After talking for a little too long, you hung up and went to go through the choreography one last time before you had to leave back to your apartment. You didn’t realise you were crying homesick until the music stopped. The door opened and you didn’t bother turning from your hunched position on the floor openly sobbing into your hands. “Hey, are you okay?”
Looking up you saw him Jung Hoseok better known as Jhope was standing their dressed ready for practice and you realised you had definitely stayed too long. Scrambling to your feet you wiped at your eyes, apologizing and packing up your things. He grabbed your arm and stopped you from running off, you looked at his shoes unable to look him in the eyes. He was handsome and way out of your league.
“Tell me what has you so upset?” No coherent words escaped your mouth as you sobbed into your hands, Jhope pulled you into his chest and wrapped his arms around you. The only word you had gotten out clearly in your whines was ‘Grilled cheese’ he didn’t mean to laugh but it just burst out of him. “Grilled cheese? I am so sorry that’s just really funny to hear someone cry over”
Understanding what he meant you were reduced to fits of giggles as well and you wiped your eyes, looking up at him. The tip of your nose was red. “I am sorry I miss home and I just wanted comfort food” He pulled out his phone and grinned down at you as he ordered some grilled cheese sandwiches and told you to show him what you had been practising.
Kim Namjoon: Scrabble
“Quixotic” Namjoon smiled at his wife, this was not how you expected to start your honeymoon but you could tell he was nervous. “Okay, Yeet” You made a throwing action with your arm and Namjoon looked up at you he wasn’t amused.
“That’s not a word baby” “We pretended yours was a word” “It is a word it means not sensible about practical matters; idealistic and unrealistic and I think you are being a bit quixotic with your supposed words” He laughed at you and you wanted to through the board.
“I think you are being a bit quixotic if you think we are going to do anything tonight, you just took your rights to see what is under my dress and yeet them out the window” “Baby, no don’t be like that” He frowned “You can have yeet, we can add slang words if you want”
“What I want is to stop playing and spend some time with my husband who I married today, goddamn it Joon, I am still in my wedding dress, I wanted you to take it off me” “Oh, Let me just yeet this game out of the way” scrabble tiles were sent flying.
Park Jimin: High
Jimin came home after a long day at work his best friend Taehyung on the floor with his roommate. The two of giggling and eating snacks while watching a documentary about a carpet company. He could smell the funky smell that was weed.
“That looks so freaking soft” Taehyung snickered slapping the tv screen. “It’s trapped behind some forcefield but it looks like I could just touch it” “That one looks like your hair” you pointed to the back of his head as he was in front of the tv, he jumped back as the screen changed to a machine cutting and rolling carpet and you looked amazed, “Why is everything moving so slow?”
“It’s spinning carpet”  “Tae there is carpet on your head and it feels so shaggy?” you were both now playing in each others hair.
“What the hell are you doing!” Pausing you both looked at each other “Tae I think I just heard god?” “God sounds like Jimin” “That’s because I am Jimin” you both turned and your eyes lit up happily
“Jimin is god, and his hair is made of the softest carpet!” You both tackled Jimin and ran your hands all over him, “Jimin god can I kiss you?” “Oh me too me too” Tae shouted and he rolled his eyes at the two of you.
Kim Taehyung: The Law
How the hell did you get here? One moment you were jokingly trying on a wedding dresses with your best friend who was soon to be married when a guy in a fancy suit asked if you would help him get out of an arranged marriage by pretending you were married. He said he just needed a few photos and your name and number encase he needed to follow up with anything. You agreed but here you were having dinner with his family who said they wanted to invite you home for Christmas and you really couldn’t refuse.
Except here you were on a farm super confused. You were led to his room and you blushed to unpack into the spare drawers and he kept throwing you guilty looks. His parents and siblings were super nice and they taught you how to cook and clean it was a good time. It was raining heavily and a long way to walk back across the farm so you laid a blanket over the bales of straw and got comfy. He sang some strange songs and told funny stories and the rain didn’t let up. Falling asleep you woke to his coat around you both and his arms tightly around you. Your marriage wasn’t binding by law but for now, you wished it was.
Jeon Jungkook: Sky (I am making into a social media story) [Read me]
You were in a car accident you couldn’t feel your legs they were pinned and some part of the engine had broken through into the cabin and pierced straight into your lung. You felt tired and it was hard to breathe.
Waking with a start you realized it was all a dream, a memory from the past, you were alive and healthy, the rain outside was strong and caused an ache in your old wounds. Flattening your palm to your rib cage you took a shaky breath. There was a sound on your balcony and your dog cloudy was barking. You walked over to the balcony to see a man standing on the railing like he was going to jump.
You froze for a moment before throwing the door open. “Excuse me, sir” He turned to face you, he had a handsome face and his hair slicked back. His eyes brushed over your form and he smirked.
“If only you were the poor soul I was taking tonight, cause damn girl” he turned back away and touched his earpiece, “Yoongi where is this guy I am collecting” “I am sorry who are you taking and where? Are you a kidnapper? What’s with the outfit? And why my balcony?” You were seriously confused running a hand through your hair. He froze shoulders tensing up and he turned jumping long black wings thrown out as he landed inches from your face. “Oh”
“Can you see me?” “Ahhh no?” you said looking away from him, he was tall towering over you, he grabbed your cheeks in his hand pulling your face back to his. “When you lie you should try to be more believable love, can you see me?” “What am I supposed to say?” he looked at your figure up and down with glowing eyes and you slapped tried to cover yourself, he lifted your little nightgown and looked at your ribcage he touched the large scar.
“You were supposed to die that day, I wonder wha-” You slapped him across the face, pulling your nightdress back down and he smirked leaning back on the railing. “I have seen worse, then your lace knickers love”
He caught your wrist before you could slap him again and he turned. You followed his gaze and saw something big fall behind him, it was like everything went slow motion and you saw a face horrified falling from the sky.
“We will continue this conversation later, I have a soul to collect”

TxT Reaction: Comfort
Prompts #11("Sometimes it gets too hard to keep pretending) and #22(I can't stand the thought of losing you"). Requested for all members. If you go to my Wattpad, Jeonkook02, my chapter of this has pictures with texts, and since I couldn't figure out how to add them on her, I change it up a littel bit when it got to the texts. Soobin: Y/n laid awake, not wanting to sleep, for every time she closed her e/c eyes, the fight her and Soobin had earlier that day kept playing over and over again like someone kept hitting the rewind button. Words were said, but Y/n didn't mean anything and prayed that Soobin felt the same. Y/n knew it was stupid, there really wasn't a cause, it just happened, not to mention it was their first fight as a couple. It also didn't help that every free time Soobin got, he spent it with his bandmates, of whom he already spends a lot of time with, so Y/n felt a little neglected. She felt tears starting to fall, tickling her cheeks. Is this the end of us, she thought, every relationship has fights, but what are the chances of breaking up after the first one. Y/n heard a ding on her phone. It was Soobin. "I really am sorry about earlier," Soobin started after Y/n answered his call, "I should be spending time with you, and not taking it for granted "I really am sorry about earlier," Soobin started after Y/n answered his call, "I should be spending time with you, and not taking it for granted." "It's okay." Y/n's voice was shaky, along with her hands as she sat up in bed, looking out her window. "Are you crying?" Soobin's voice broke. Y/n was silent before she spoke, knowing that if she said no that he'll know she's lying, but then she didn't want to admit it, always keeping up strong walls, she sighed, "yeah." "Please don't," Soobin begged, "I can't stand to hear you cry or even see it." "I can't stand the thought of losing you." Y/n cried. "Who said you were losing me?" Soobin asked, "tell me and I'll bet them up for making you think like that." "So you don't want to break up?" Y/n asked through tears. "No, of course not, I love you too much," Soobin cried out, "I'm coming over, get a sweater on it's cold." "But it's late," Y/n argued, "you need rest." "But my girl needs me more, besides, I don't have anything going on tomorrow," Soobin insisted, "and I'm coming over with McDonald's so be ready" Yeonjun: This one isn't really a comfort one, but the prompt worked for this It was date night. Yeonjun and Y/n decided to lay on the rooftop, watching the city lights sparkle in the night sky. Yeonjun felt peace as he had Y/n in his arms and a silent night to spend with her. He felt incredibly grateful that he met Y/n, she made him see the beauty of the world and the goodness of life. In a way, she made him a better man without even noticing. Yeonjun looked over at her, beaming. He ran his fingers through her soft hair, he cupped her cheek and kissed her delicately. "I can't stand the thought of losing you," he confessed. Y/n turned around, now facing him and grabbed his hand in hers, "neither can I". "I'm going to marry you someday," Yeonjun held her cheek, smiling wildly, his eyes burned with the flames of love. "And I'll be delighted," Y/n gave him the same smile. They were madly in love and weren't going to let anyone take that away from them. Every promise they kept. They stood by each other through thick and thin, never went to bed angry. A perfect fairytale that Y/n dreamed about when she was a little girl. And though to most people they were "too young" that didn't matter to Y/n and Yeonjun. They were old enough, both had careers and a stable income, a house over their heads, a life that they made together. Yeonjun grabbed her hand as he stood up, motioning for Y/n to stand as well, and then knelt down: "As I already said, I can't stand the thought of losing you. I want to wake up next to you for the rest of my life, I want to grow more as a person with you by my side. I promise to love you, to cherish you, to always take care of you, and treat you the way a queen should be treated. Y/n l/n will you marry me?" Y/n was not expecting this, but she didn't care, neither did she care about the tears that were falling from her soft e/c eyes, she nodded, not being able to form the right words. Yeonjun smiled as he took out the ring from his pocket and put it on her finger before kissing her knuckle. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." they both managed to say at the same time, giggling as they leaned in for their first kiss as fiancee's. Beomgyu: Beomgyu had gone over to Y/n's house to hang out with her and her parents. Playing games and maybe later watching a couple of movies. He had gone over early after lunch that day, not wanting to be a bother since he was having dinner with them. With him, he brought a couple of board games that he and the members play once in a while and small bouquet of flowers each for his girlfriend and her mother, wanting to be the perfect gentlemen. However, when he got there, Y/n was waiting by the door, walking him to the backyard. Worry overcame him, Y/n looked upset, like she was going to punch something. "Jagi, what's wrong?" He asked wrapping her up in a hug and rubbing her back. "Sometimes it gets too hard to keep pretending," Y/n spoke up, "no one in my house is happy, my dad's a jerk and acts as the world revolves around, my mom doesn't say anything because he'll yell more, and then ten minutes later he acts as nothing happened, and we have to pretend like we're a happy family and he'll keep acting as if the man is better." "I'm sorry you go through this," Beomgyu apologized, not knowing what to say. "When my mom walked outside during the fight, just to get away for a few minutes, he started to yell at me, saying that he's leaving my mom, basically for talking to a guy friend she hasn't seen since high school, and asking for a little bit of money to go get something nice for me, he also started saying it was my attitude I had a couple of days ago when I was on my period and wanting to shut out the whole world" "I know how your dad can be, so when he starts to act like that, call me and I'll come and get you, I'm sure that the boys and our manager wouldn't mind if you spend the night in a separate room to get away from things, they love you and trust us." "Can I tonight? I don't want to deal with them, I'll tell them I'm going to f/n later" Y/n looked at him, tears in her eyes, slightly breaking his heart. "Yeah, I'll give my manager a call, go get your things packed," Beomgyu kissed the top of her head, "I'll lie for you and tell them that I'll take you to f/n's house." "Thank you, Beomie," Y/n hugged him tightly. "You're welcome, honey." Beomgyu hugged her back. Taehyun: Panic erupted throughout Taehyun's body. Him and Y/n were handing out in the park when he said that he'd go get them some ice cream, Y/n said that she'd wait for him on the bench. And when he came back from the shop with the ice creams in his hands, he almost dropped them when he didn't see Y/n sitting on the bench where he left her waiting, nor did he see her anywhere. Maybe she came in or went to the car when it started to rain, Taehyun told himself, wanting it to be true, not being able to stand the idea of her missing. "Y/n," he called out when he ran back inside the shop, sitting the ice cream down on one of the tables. He started to look around the shop, started to text her, asking those around him if they saw a girl with Y/n's description. He took a breath of relief when an elder man told him that he thinks he saw a girl that looks like her walk into the bathroom in a rush. Taehyun hurriedly walked over to the bathroom and waited outside the door, calling her. When she declined it, Taehyun was about to scream until she texted him saying she started her period and just went to the bathroom to put on a pad. When she came out, Taehyun took her into a hug, his face in her neck. Y/n could feel the wet tears fall against her skin, so she dragged him to the back of the ice cream shop. "I can't stand the thought of losing you," Taehyun wiped away his tears with the back of his hand, "that really scared me." "I'm sorry, I started to feel like I started my period, and when I realized I didn't have anything with me, I had to ask around," Y/n hugged him again, running her hand up and down his back. "I was so scared, I couldn't find you," Taehyun mumbled. "It's okay, I would be too." Y/n cupped his cheek lovingly before kissing his lips softly, " I love you so much. I'm okay, I promise." "I love you too," Taehyun whispered against her lips as he kissed her back, "now let's get our ice cream and go home so you can get into some comfy clothes, and we'll cuddle if you want to." "I'd like that," Y/n smiled as she grabbed her boyfriend's hand. She's okay, Taehyun whispered to himself, she's safe. Huening Kai: "Sometimes it gets too hard to keep pretending, that I have to be nice," Y/n said into the phone, "he just keeps on getting more annoying by the second, always having to talk to me or be by me, like what even?" Huening Kai froze, was Y/n talking about him? he's always by her and always wants to talk to her, besides, they're dating, isn't he supposed to want to talk to her and be by her. Huening Kai got confused, even so, don't I give her space? "Sometimes I just want to scream at him to leave me alone." Y/n groaned at whoever she was talking to. Huening knows that he shouldn't be taking it the wrong way, but his insecurities were getting in his way of making himself know, and see if he was the one she was talking about. However, he didn't want to stay and listen, in case he was the one his girlfriend was complaining about. So he left as quietly as he came. Originally going to scare his girlfriend, and that's why Y/n didn't know he was there. What does it matter anyway, he thought. "I keep telling him that I have a boyfriend, but now the creep keeps bothering me, I'm about to tell Huening Kai, and the creep can deal with him," Y/n rolled over checking the time, knowing that her boyfriend was coming over soon, "he may look sweet and loving, but you don't want to get him mad." After a couple more minutes, Y/n hung up, confused as to why he isn't there yet, maybe he let himself in quietly and is in the living room waiting for me to get done talking, Y/n thought. But he wasn't there or in the bathroom or kitchen. Maybe he just forgot or got held back somewhere, Y/n told herself. And after texting and calling her boyfriend multiple times, she called one of his bandmates. Y/n took a worried breath as she dialed Beomgyu's number who sounded worried when he answered Y/n took a worried breath as she dialed Beomgyu's number who sounded worried when he answered. "Beomgyu, is Huening Kai there?" Y/n asked, "he was supposed to come here and he didn't, he's not answering my calls or texts." "He's here, don't worry." Beomgyu stated, "but he came back here looking upset and won't talk to any of us. Can you come over and talk to him?" "I'm on my way." Y/n sighed a breath of relief as she got her shoes on and ran out of the door. Since the dorms weren't that far from where she lived, Y/n walked, wondering the whole time of what was wrong with her happy go lucky boyfriend. She reached the door and knocked anxiously. Beomgyu answered: "You know you don't have to knock, right?" "I am in a dorm full of boys, of course, I have to knock," Y/n joked "where is he?" "His bed." Beomgyu pointed, "please figure it out, we're worried, he isn't normally like this." Y/n hurridly made her way to her boyfriend, when she entered the room, his back was turned to the door. Hearing someone walk in, Huening Kai told whoever it was to go away." "It's me Y/n," she told him walking closer, "what's wrong?" She now sat on his bed, rubbing his back, knowing it always soothed him. "Do you find me annoying, and wishing you could tell me to go away?" he asked turning around to face her. "Of course not," Y/n assured, "funny? yes, handsome? yes, the love of my life? yes." "But I heard you on the phone," Huening Kai confessed, "but my insecurities could have been making me hear something I didn't want to hear" "Huening, that wasn't about you," Y/n explained, "it's about a weird creep at school that won't leave me alone, and I didn't want to worry you." "There's someone bothering you?" Huening Kai sat up, "what's he doing? who is he? what does he look like?" "The new kid in my Chemistry class, he keeps getting close to me and trying to get me to date him, even when I tell him that I have a boyfriend that I love." Y/n explained. "Him? He did seem a little off in one of my classes, I'll talk to him, don't worry," Huening Kai got protective. "And you'll tell me if you're feeling insecure, especially when it has to deal with us?" Y/n begged. "Yeah." Huening Kai pinky promised. "I love you." Y/n smiled. "I love you too," Huening Kai smiled as he kissed her, "now let's go out in the living room so the boys and I can discuss how to handle this guy."
