After 6 years of having no access to this blog, I have finally returned.
As thepurpletomato, I last checked in to Tumblr around early 2016, and I almost forgot this blog. So much has happened since.
I guess you can call this a "six-year lockdown", which hopefully we won't be seeing after 2022, knowing many of the Earth's citizens have received all three doses of their chosen vaccine.
On a personal level, I have changed so much, from 2016 to 2022: depression, weight loss and gain, made a few people hate me (somehow a good thing), realizing that religions are nothing but oppressive organizations (hence going the agnostic way), this freaking pandemic, and changing priorities.
In the meantime, I'd like to thank those actual humans at @staff who understood my request to regain access to my preteen blog (12 years this 2022). The last time I contacted regarding my login request was pretty disappointing. I somehow hope you won't rely on too much automated stuff - I work on answering emails too, and I love doing it.
As soon as I logged back in successfully earlier today, November 16th 2022, quickly I had to do overhauls of some of my sideblogs, and deleted a few of them as well.
About social media platforms... I've been on Instagram around August 2015, and that sort of distracted me from here. And now that the likes of IG and Facebook are going too "botty", as well as Twitter becoming a ridiculous mess not too long ago, I feel that there should be social media platforms for those who seek quiet from the cacophonic socialization of fandoms, keyboard trolls, scammers with obvious grammatical errors, and influencers and vloggers who are not really famous.
Culture, art, chaos - these words that describe Tumblr on Google Play/App Store, accurately describe the three aforementioned social media platforms, rather than Tumblr itself. In my perspective, at least.
Then again, the serotonin level I had from logging in again as thepurpletomato, is now unforgettable for me.
Welcome back to this blog.
