I’ve been feeling like living in the mountains lately. All alone somewhere in the lanes of Mussoorie surrounded by those long trees I don’t know the name of. Living in a small house made of wood with a small fireplace in it and flooded with books and a lot more books. I think how good would that be. Living and breathing literature in the lanes of Mussoorie. Writing stories and forgetting about them and leaving them for the world to read. How would it feel like to escape this constant chaotic life in the city and run away. Oh, I can already smell the cold breeze flowing through my window. Oh what a life it would be.

I'm once again at your shrine
My feet had a mind of their own. They jerked to a stop as I entered the living room (we must only walk in with naked feet) only to find you turning it to a shrine.
You sat on the sofa, fingers strumming the strings of your guitar.
I caught you in your prayer. Once again, I'm at your shrine.
Bowed down, murmuring, to your instrument and instead of rosary beads, the strings become ceremonial. They hum with you in your prayer.
I'm at your shrine, hiding in the shadow of the room. The soft glow of sunset falls over you. How did I end up here?
Here you stay, and here I hold the lost memory of an ache.
I'm at your shrine and you pray.

Lal Tibba's Winter Line: sky creates a 'second horizon.'
Hey folks!
This is the magical Winter Line; it can be seen from only two places in the whole wide world – the Swiss Alps and our very own Mussoorie. Winter line is the phenomenon of the formation of a line as a secondary horizon during the time of sunset.
The coolest time to visit is at 5 in the evening during winters. Picture this – the sky turning into a canvas of yellow, red, and orange above a beautiful line in the air that looks like a painting.
📍Location: Lal Tibba, Highest viewpoint on Landour Hill, Mussoorie.

Mussoorie Day-2
We went out to see the different attractions in the area. It was road trip time!
The sky was so blue and there was not a single cloud in sight except for those covering the mountain peaks.
First up was Kempty Fall. We had to take a ropeway there because the hike uphill was no joke. It was interesting how the waterfall itself was sectioned into various levels. Collected some herbarium specimen from around this area.
Look at him! So happy to be here!
The flow of water was so strong, we were constantly being hit with the mist.
Next, we went on a small hike to the Santura Devi Temple. The hike was really pleasant and not tiring at all. Was able to collect some more herbarium specimen from here!
Next stop was the monastery near Dalai Hill. We didn't go to the Buddha Temple but we took pictures from the monastery instead.
There was another dog basking in the sun so obviously I had to take a picture.
The same day we went to the Company Bagaan. Apparently it was built in 1868. It was really pretty and a few degrees colder because of all the trees there.
Also there was this cool car near the nursery.
That's all for today! Hope you have a good day/night!
