oops, ponies
these are some concepts for a new oc, her name is Whispered Secrets and she was originally in charge of keeping, caring for, and otherwise knowing all the secrets of equestria. originally it started out small, she was like a therapist with an interest in the general pursuit of knowledge, but being a unicorn with a strong aspect for magic she caught the attention of the princesses.
she began working in the castle, she basically had a big library where she studied the mysteries of the world, she would unearth forgotten pasts, preserve quiet presents, and keep everything safe for a brighter future. her and Luna were good friends, and she was friendly enough with Celestia, acting almost as a stand in advisor because of her extensive less-than-common-common knowledge. she recognized that at the time of her employment the princess were still very young and inexperienced.
after Luna's imprisonment, she and celestia were on very... shaky standings. Celestia was still reeling from the rather unplanned banishment and general loss of her sister. Secrets, on the other hand was furious at the unfair treatment of her dear friend and had trouble not being angry with the eldest because of it. as celestia started to form plans to get her sister back and otherwise taking on the rising of the moon, her and Secrets' relationship continued to strain. Whisper wanted to do her job and make the incident public knowledge, but celestia saw how it could backfire and started seeing her as more of a threat.
it got to the point where Celestia's paranoia and guilt got the best of her and she put a curse on Whisper. it caused the loss of her horn and therefore her ability to control her magic in any traditional manner. for some reason it also stopped her aging. regardless, she was sealed in her library along with her work with the door built over and left to be forgotten in what should have been her grave.
over the millennia of Luna's banishment her story was twisted under the name of Silver Tongue Secrets, a manipulative mare who would find out a pony's wrong doings and expose them to everyone. although no one knows who started the tale, some say it could have been Celestia's doing to cover up Whisper's memory.

One of the things that's always fascinated me abt Vivzie as an artist is how her artstyle has almost “regressed” over the past like 10 years.
Like lets take Helluva Boss for example. Every character, be they imp, demon, hellhound or otherwise, all follows the same basic template for their specific race.
this is made painfully obvious with the introduction of this design in the most recent episode, which is supposed to be Beelzebub, a deity usually associated with flies/insects (I bold “usually” because while yes people usually associate Beelzebub with flies, this is because their title/description is being the “Lord of the Flyers”, which people usually see as “Lord of the Flies” So technically Bee doesn't even need to be a fly, she just needs to fly)
Now normally that wouldn't really matter, creative freedom in stories with inspiration from mythology/religion is what makes them interesting. But what FASCINATES me about HBs depiction of Beelzebub specifically is that Viv already went through the trouble of designing the Gluttony layer to have a hive/bee aesthetic, which makes the whiplash of seeing Bees design so much more severe, because you see the hive designs and honeycombs and go “Oh! they’re gonna make her a bee, yknow like BEElzebub, that's interesting” but then nope, just a 4 armed hellhound
And the fact that the layer seems to have been specially designed with insects in mind begs the question of why the fuck even bother making her just a 4 armed hellhound, you already were halfway there because you had enough foresight to give her 4 arms why not just, yk, make her a fucking bee, or a wasp, anything that ISNT just a 4 armed hellhound is my point
And like...have yall seen Vivs old artstyle?? That shit lowkey oozed character. Like just look at this comparison here, the ones on the left are from before Hazbin (to give a specific date, you're looking at around the range of 2013-2017, Proto-Charlie and Proto-Vaggie I know are from at LEAST 2013), the ones on the right are from the recent redesigns for the A24 pilot
Now am I saying that ALL of the old designs are better than the new ones? No, I still prefer the new Cherri and Pentious over their old designs. the point I’m trying to illustrate here is how interesting it is to me how much Vivs style as gotten noticeably less “unique” over the past few years

Some expansion on my LF redesign
Both her back and head fins are flexible, so she turns better.
Her head is the same length as an NF's but flatter and more rounded front.
Her tail fin is longer + thinner and connects into one at the end of her tail, so it reduces drag without losing surface area.
Her wings are the same as an NF's
Her two middle ear nubs are much smaller for space for much wider main ear nubs.
Less blubber than NF's. As in Homecoming, it's shown the Nightlights don't know what snow is, so I think seasons in the hidden world are a lot less dramatic. So the NF's blubber used to handle winters is unnecessary.
Plus here are some quick doodles I did of my baby. Ik her proportions aren't consistent between drawings but god I'm too lazy to fix it.
(Note: I LOVE MY GIRL, BUT OMG DID THE DESIGNERS DID HER SO WRONG UGH. IF ONLY SHE DIDN'T LOOK SQIUDHED. I wish they went for a sharp & strong kinda elegance rather than a circular/rounded femininity yk..? or at least unsquished her.)

HAZBIN HOTEL CAST REDESIGN
PART 1 - LUCIFER MORNINGSTAR
I've had so much fun with redesigning Lucifer, cuz I felt I need to give him this ROYAL VIBE. His design in the show is cool, but it's to much like a circuscore to me.. He's a freaking KING OF HELL, and Bro is looking worse than Stolas? Nuh uh, I couldn't let that happen.
I gave him type of snake face feature. Also I have him this fancy hair horns and goat's hooves. Also with his wings. As he's a fallen angel, I thought about giving him broken wings! Isn't that cool? I left only one of the wings working so he could still fly. Also I added more gold, cuz yk - he needs to still look pretty divine.
And I think that's it.

If you could give Dethklok a redesign, how would you envision it?
Here’s my version:
Nathan: I wouldn’t change much on Nathan. I would just give him gauges/ spiked earrings, a lip piercing, a cool tattoo that’s related to metal with a band t shirt and spiked boots. I think I should make him look tanned because he’s part Native.
Pickles: piercings! Piercings galore! Nipple piercings, collarbone piercings, snake bites, you name it! And tattoos on his arms. And more freckles on his body. I would make him chubbier in my opinion cuz of all the beer. My ideal redesign of Pickles is that he’s a short chubby alt metal gremlin.
Murderface: like Nathan, not much. I think Muderface is perfect just the way he is. I guess I would add more accessories like chained belts, more tattoos, spiked bracelets or maybe a more ‘metal’ version of his outfit.
Skwisgaar: for me, I would design Skeisgaar to look more feminine and elvish as a stark contrast to his death metal look. I think I could add some white to his clothes because that’s his signature colour.
Toki: like murderface and Nathan, I don’t think I would change Toki much. I think I would make him appear more muscular than he already is. Give him a softer face and rounder eyes to give him this childlike look. I think I could give him a belt with a bunny rabbit as a bonus.
I think the only thing about ANY of the boys is change would be:
Making toki MORE buff. Make his arms more defined!! he deserves it. Platform boots n such, more skin fit shirts,,for reasons
Pickles with more Piercings and some tattoos, give that man a mf lip ring!! and also maybe he has jewelry he wears off stage. rings n such,,
Nathan also needs some piercings and make his model design tan! Tattoos as well,,
Skwisgaar? he’s perfect i wouldn’t change much about him at all.
Murderface! He also is perfect just the way he is! i love his design and i think its fitting for his personality. Maybe make his hair more curl defined, yk?

Hey can you tell me who Proferror and circuit are is I don’t know a lot about is are they from lucidia?
proferror and circuit are other errors CQ has made!
proferror was made as CQ was trying to redesign error (hence his similar trench coat and overall outfit). circuit i havent looked as much into but she’s just a little error. here’s a picture of them together! (credits to CQ for this drawing)
what i know about proferror is this:
- he’s self destructive rather than outwardly destructive. because of this, cq describes him as “safe” to be around.
- he’s an alcoholic. like. really bad
- he has one night stands??? all the time?? because he hates himself??
- he is actually a very good father? he’s very good with kids
- never elaborated on, but he has a suuuper tragic backstory that was only ever hinted at
- he loves to ramble and yap on and on about literally nothing and he does NOT shut the fuck up.
- he’s a literal asshole. he is an asshole to anyone he meets. sometimes, he spews sexual dialogue, but only to make people go away.
- he’s like. really tall. i’m pretty sure he’s 6’9 on the dot (haha funny 69) but i could be wrong
and here’s what i know about circuit:
- she is outwardly destructive! she has explosive abilities. im not sure why or how they work, but yk they’re there.
- she has an obsession with family. i’m pretty sure she forces people to play family with her and throws a fit if anything goes wrong
- she has adopted proferror as her father
now, i’m not sure if they are in lucidia, but someone did ask CQ if they were going to be. she said they might be alongside error, and if they are i’d love that very much. i have more bias toward proferror because he’s so handsome and funny but … yeah. this is all i know about either of them since proferror’s ask window was so short and I haven’t even tried to look into circuit. i haven’t heard anything about them from CQ in awhile

!THE SILLY GANG!
(Re-imagine)
Originally it just gonna be simple redesign but then i was like screw it, Im revamping them as whole and making more or less into ocs. In addition a gave them a theme being country side/farm. I made the silly gang have different body type than the average Freddy Fazbear’s animatronic; bended legs, longer ears/tail, slender legs, overall different head shape, just more animalistic looking in general. I understand they’re supposed to rip off or something but come on now gotta give a bit differences… especially with Pete hes the main mascot yet the other two robots there out shine him with their more colorful coats and friendly looks, it feels like Q. made him that way cuz “ha ha ha funny chucky cheese mouse parody”.
(It sounds like i hate pete , i don’t, i really like him actually, especially people’s interpretations of him, i love what others do with his character making him more than the embodiment of “i hate it here” yk)
Anyways they got new names:
•Pete Lucas
•Dottie Amelia Dots
(Might change, idk, if yall got any better suggestions tell me)
•Finn Tucker
Some extra info (mostly about their relationships with one other):
•they have a sibling dynamic between one another. (Oldest- Lucas, middle - Amelia & youngest- Tunker)
•Lucas tries damn hardest to be a good older brother figure to the both of them, he feels like its he’s responsible for their happiness and well being
•Amelia is tallest of three despite not being the oldest.
• Lucas and Amelia tend to get into arguments about him overworking & him not being open.
•Tucker has “dad just a little cranky today and i just got in the way”
•Amelia and Lucas help maintain Tucker’s fur (it tangles really easily)
•Tunker and Amelia have matching bandanas

More shit for my dpxdc merfolk au!
No I’m not censoring boobs. I have Opinions TM on this matter, don’t get me started. Basically: If mermen don’t get their nipples censored by unnecessary clothing, neither do mermaids.
I’m trying to have some diversity with body types in these designs, for no reason other than wanting some variety.
For Cass [Sting Ray] I can’t really decide on a body type I like for her. I’ve drawn her before with the “conventionally attractive girl body type” (bc that was my reference pic and I turned it into Cass lol) and I liked it bc she’s fine like that. But I also love her being more bulky/muscular like she is in WFA. But for this design, I am spreading my Chubby Cass Propaganda TM. Okay, she’s not that chubby, but I like the idea of her moving past her whole living-weapon thing and gaining some weight bc she’s not training 24/7 anymore. Obviously she’s still very physically fit ofc; she’s the best fighter in the world.
Steph I kept exactly how she is in canon bc she’s already perfect just the way she is. Though I am considering making her a bit more muscular.
Dick’s also pretty similar to canon, but I made him a bit slimmer. I always imagined him as more of a lean muscle kind of guy but dc loves giving all of it’s characters of the same gender the same exact body type.
Duke I made more square. He’s based on an eel so the rectangle body just made sense to me.
Jason’s just huge and Damian’s just small.
Next up is Babs. Then comes Bruce and Tim. Danny’s last bc I haven’t figured out what fish he’s gonna be yet lol. The rest of the fentons are human so I don’t really need to redesign them so much besides maybe different clothes.
FURTHER RAMBLING UNDER THE CUT bc i put a lot of thought into these
Steph is a betta fish. Ik that doesn’t make much sense bc they’re tropical (i think?) and domestic and like super aggressive and only the male ones have those pretty fins— but suspend your disbelief! She a mermaid. I’m using some real science but some of it’s just me playing with fish like dolls. ANYWAY! The reason she got fired in this au was bc her long, beautiful fins were way too fragile and Bruce stopped it bc she got hurt too easily. Nowadays she binds her fins close to her body and attaches fake ones for swimming as Spoiler. Either that or they’re not vigilantes at all in this au, I’m still deciding. I also based her hair on her Robin look.
Dick is a flying fish, bc of COURSE he’s a flying fish. What else would he be, huh? I have visions about him jumping out of the water and sailing over or onto the Fentons’ boat. The transition on his waist is supposed to mimic the nightwing symbol if you can’t tell. That’s another design element I’m trying to vary— fish to flesh transitions.
Cass is a Sting Ray. She was originally gonna be a manta ray, but when i looked it up, sting rays were the ones with the more round shape i wanted. Mantas had much bigger wings, which were absolutely not gonna fit on this paper. But sting rays are cool! They’re super friendly, some aquariums have little “petting zoos” where you can pet the sting rays! And also, yk, stinging. I’m betting the ones at the aquarium didn’t have stingers that can affect humans tho. I may have to do further sting ray research. Yes that bigass thing is attached to her back everywhere except for her neck and the base of here head (bc i love drawing hair too much). Her arms are, ofc, not attached to it. I made her a ray in the first place bc they have very good camouflage at the bottom of the ocean. I saw this picture of a ray blending in but it was ominous af. It felt perfect for her.

Viv does add some emotional depth but not in the right spots. This is a problem with Helluva Boss more than Hazbin Hotel tho
With Hazbin, you can fit the emotional bits in there without it feeling forced in a way because the characters are supposed to be developed and this is supposed to be a series with a plot and a goal. My only complaint about Hazbin is the pacing of the plot (and the fact that it’s made by. Yk. Vivziepop.)
With Helluva, its alternating between a comedy series where three silly assassin imps go on adventures every day, and an in-depth episodical story with drama and romance and whatnot; and who’s to say it can’t be both? It can be, but it has to be done correctly 😭😭 but we all knew that writing was never one of Viv’s strengths…
(I got some of these points from @callimara go check her out she’s amazing and her art, redesigns and critiques are incredible)

I don't remember their name but I had a mechanic for the animatronic based on who was controlling it. If it was the girl, it was mostly passive and her eyes glowed white, if it was the boy, it was more aggressive

So how does UT/DR affect that world ? Well... Timeline monster corrupting everything and there is this one desert in a timeline that exist to protect everyone. It has a giant shield too, I don't have the plan but I know I had made one so in case I find it I'll let y'all know

(Not really set in stone but just a few ideas for what I think would happen in my version of sonic ig?? I made a few ocs and yee, few redesigns. I might make more but I have Gerald’s kid’s rn, I gotta redesign Eggman soon maybe? idk might just make him jimbotnik yk shsh)
Dr Gerald Robotnik loved his work very dearly. He would hold it up above all of his other achievements and let it be seen in all of it’s glory. He only loved one thing other than his inventions, and that was his family.
He was most definitely a family man, all of his co-workers could attest to that. Mostly everything Gerald went for was in pursuit of his family.
When his son’s daughter Maria, his granddaughter got sick he immediately dropped everything and got to work. He took care of Maria while doing his work as best as he could, while his son went and worked his own job to help them.
Gerald was almost relieved when he was contacted by the government to help with a project, opting to use any free time at the facility to help try aid Maria.
His son understood, continuing his work while his father and daughter left to an undisclosed location with minimal contact.
Maria honestly just wants to get better and get back to school. Her and her small group of friends were preparing for middle school soon and they were just all ecstatic.
She probably also really enjoys some pop music, it makes her want to jump up and down and just dance with her hair bouncing around.
She also loves to paint her nails, and sometimes one of her friend’s at school would bring a bottle of polish in and they’d paint each other’s nails in haste during recess while they tried not to get caught.
She owns quite a lot of head bands as well, telling her dad and grandpa that “they were essential to the growing girl”, but she just liked how some of them were sparkly while others were bright colours.
Gerald’s daughter was also given a contract to sign as she was brought aboard. She loved working with computers and was skilled at it, some official having taken interest in her work and offered her a position.
She would have to leave her young boy at home with his father while she worked on site, writing him letters and calling him whenever she could.
All of them just kind of understood that they had an underlying condition to deal with during the duration, but they never spoke much on it lest the walls could hear. Workers in the building helped whenever they could, swearing some secrecy regarding the reason they brought Maria.
They also started spewing the same nonsense to the government that Maria struggled a bit with earth’s atmosphere, or something. All of the workers all said something slightly different, and it was clear only a few had matching stories. None paid it much mind though since it was kinda clear she was going through something(especially later on)
(They’re either in space or some area 51 type place idk tho)

What do you think of the new monster high designs?
I suppose it depends on which ones specifically, but I actually have a lot of thoughts on them!! If you don’t know I love LOVE fashion, and character design, so this is up my ally lololol! I think most of the newer designs are actually really cool and I like the change in giving each doll more diversity mold wise!!
I think if there was a main gripe, it would be the changes in a few of the characters main features, such as hair, or lagoon as a whole. I LOVE lagoona, and think her new design is super cute but doesn’t really!! Look like the same character a ton!! If you put them all in together, I would assume they are both sea monster students for sure, maybe sisters? But not twins with different styles, yk? Redesigns can only stray so far before they kinda start to lose the relativity to being the same character as before and that’s really tough to nail down. Especially since I heard they make the dolls FIRST then ask their box artists to get to work on details.
I also miss draculas hair! It gave off a more alternative look to me I suppose, and the aesthetic of her lace clothing would be nice to see again!! The newer dolls seem more adept for playtime rather than fashion, which is a given for toys, but still. We have Barbie for fun colorful stuff (which you know I’m all about if you’re here). I just hope in future designs they give us some more gothic/alternative style!
I’ve seen some dolls in my local store for a character who’s the boogeyman’s daughter and she looks AWESOME. I don’t think I recognize her from the old series and I do forget her name, but her colors and vibe were VERY pleasing, so I’m excited to see more!
