I think the reason lwj is so quiet around wwx is because he goes completely fucking stupid when wwx is around. Like full on no thoughts head empty (except for gay thoughts). He can’t open his mouth because he cannot predict what kind of garbled disaster of syllables will spill out if he does. I was rewatching Good Omens earlier today and I noticed something thats probably been analyzed before, but I'm a film studies minor thats losing their marbles over this I need to talk about it.

SO I've taken a ton of classes about filming and story telling. And one aspect of story telling I love so much is cinematography (you'll see the cinematographer credited as Director of photography) the purpose of this job to direct lighting, color, and framing during shoots. So whenever you see changes in a shot to any of those things, the cinematographer is the one directing that in order to create a certain feeling for the scene and audience.

why am i telling you all that? Because the director of photography on Good Omens (Gavin Finney) achieved something that has me climbing the walls. In the first season when Crowley and Aziraphale are having a "breakdown" in their relationship under the band stand in the park each time it cuts between them something changes in the framing. When we are looking at Crowley from Aziraphales POV, Crowley seems farther away in the shot. And when we are looking at Aziraphale from Crowley's POV Azi is closer. Then we see this framing again in season 2 during the confession scene. Azi looks much closer from Crowleys POV and Crowley is much farther to Azi.

The number one thing I've learned through out my film classes is when you are framing someone in your shot you have to show what's most important to your character, show don't tell. The purpose of that is a great story should be able to be told without sound, so showing emotion and feeling in the way you frame shots is important.

So what are the feelings in these frames? Crowley wants Aziraphale to be close, for Azi to just accept their love, to stop pushing him away, and be together. Each time they've had these confrontations Crowley is always the one wanting to be closer. While Crowley in Aziraphales eyes need to be farther away, stop getting closer, and only sees them as an Angel and Demon who are on opposite sides (lets be honest Azi you are fckn SMITTEN with Crowley). In the second season the feelings have changed but in the end it still hurts the same. They are important to each other but have different ideas of what their love/relationship should be. I think in order for the framing in each others eyes to be balanced they'll need to stop talking AT each other and start talking TO each other.

Anyway there are my two cents I could add more but it hurts to think about. (I'll think about it the more I watch honestly so more might be added.)

thinking about ed’s “apology” being a series of minimizations — “perhaps some of my actions, maybe all of my actions, maybe me, myself, maybe I, me made some of you feel somewhat — whatever that nasty, dark stuff was that brought us here, it’s in the past. all i wanted to say at the end of the day is that we’re trying to move the culture forward”

how haltingly he admits to the blame, how he still moves the blame onto “dark nasty stuff” that “brought us here” instead of “my actions. what i did” and then immediately moving onto “it’s about just moving on and not thinking about it anymore” essentially.

thinking about how ed could say “hello Mr. Latch, it’s not your fault you’re broken, no. you didn’t break you. you were just trying to do your job, weren’t you?” to a door but cant say it to izzy. ed “i didn’t apologize for jack shit” teach, izzy already rewriting his trauma to excuse ed and place blame onto himself. Ed, going around to fang and allowing lucius to push him off the ship. he tried to make up with lucius and fang (who had already forgiven him) but noticeably hasnt been alone w izzy

thinking about ed saying “let’s move past it into the future” and izzy later saying “not moving on is worse” instead of/than acknowledging the actual trauma. idk idk

i dunno why i keep thinking about these scenes together. I think it has to do with the repeated word, but could be about how Izzy is blaming himself for his actions and Ed is being very gentle and understanding to a door latch he’s fixing, and not the man who he shot.

(ultimately, i do think he’s working on it, he’s getting there. but he isn’t there yet. it’s still early days, though.)

I noticed in 10th house Synastry house person could feel like planet person is shallow if you know them irl or it could be difficult to build a deeper connection w them but if it’s a celeb/far distance person you feel like you know them better than most people 💀 esp if it’s in a water sign notice me jungkook 💜

I’ve noticed people with outer planets in the 1st have shocking resemblance to their ancestors

Capricorn placements don’t get enough recognition for how many hidden gifts/ talented they are. I feel like people forget that they’re half goat/fish so their creativity can go overlooked(wow what a surprise). Wherever Capricorn/ Saturn is in you chart is where your hidden talents are, where you tend to feel shunned from/your biggest obstacles in life, where people try to belittle you because they see your potential. But once you realize your potential and work on it consistently you can become oh so powerful.

6th:their work ethic, natural healers, could be accused of being lazy, having haters at work, animals love them but they could’ve have bad experiences with them in the past, having good health/nice body if you’re persistent

3rd: being discouraged by your peers/teachers/family because of your communication skills, could do really well in later school years and also could be popular, feeling like your pov is never taken into thought, they could have been the child that was the most problematic but also the one that holds the family together like glue

Alright so in honour of the second episode finally coming out this is something I've noticed that's kinda interesting to me

Okay so when I was watching the pilot for the first time I realized that not only were worker drones and murder drones very different in height but that their legs in particular were really different

The legs of worker drones are slim and seem to have feet so they're fit to wear shoes/boots

While Murder drones have no feet (probably to make hunting the workers easier or smth)

so i was like "oh that's a cool lil detail" but then when I was watching ep 2 (from now on there will definitely be spoilers so go watch the ep if you haven't already) I noticed something

At the beginning when N is having that flashback dream thing I was paying rlly close attention to every detail because i love analyzing designs (especially for animated stuff)

And we see the gang (N, J, V + some1 unknown) and i noticed they have worker legs

When watching the episode it's rlly easy to guess that they weren't originally meant to be murder drones, and were made more to serve humans but this rlly drives home the point of them being physically modified to hunt their own kind not just robots but workers

I'm super excited for where this series is going to lead so I'm hoping we're gonna get more murder drones backstory (which is most likely the case) but yeah that's all from me

Things I Noticed About Mikoto’s Trial 2 Album Cover:

Here’s the album cover in its entirety for context

1.) There are 2 prominent ahoges

As opposed to only having one in Mikoto’s default sprites

2. The side of Mikoto’s face with a terrified expression kinda has crooked teeth

While the side of Mikoto’s face with an angry expression has a fang

3. Mikoto’s door seems similar to the doors in subway trains

Not 100% sure though since it looks a bit different

But if that really is a door for subway trains, then it’s concerning that it’s opened like that in Mikoto’s album cover since

The doors for subway trains are supposed to open sideways

Well, I acknowledge that all doors in Trial 2 albums are opened like that, but it’s still curious that they chose this type of door for Mikoto because it’s one of those that you don’t open via manually pushing/pulling it, or is usually the case anyway

4. The door that aligns with the half of Mikoto’s face with a terrified expression looks bloodier at 1st glance

Possibly because Mikoto’s figure conceals most of the blood on the door that’s aligned with the angry half of their expression

Almost as if telling Es to focus on the Mikoto with a terrified expression, on the severity of [mental] wounds that they caused him. All the while downplaying his own [mental] wounds, the ones that are carried by the Mikoto with an angry expression

It would play into how the angry Mikoto painted himself as the perpetrator, the terrified Mikoto only a victim in all of this (haha Cat reference yes):

I included “Double” because one definition of it is:

Which raises the possibility of there being not only 1 ‘double’ but several

(That said, it’s possible that Milgram will only focus on 2 Mikotos, which are the ones featured on this album cover)
