@bb-enablefreebuild it's true, but asa says it himself, "I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I have everything a person could want and a better family than some could ever imagine - but it’s not enough for me. I don’t know why. I want to be happy, but I don’t know how." it was important for me to include that part in there, because that has nothing to do with finn – well, only a little bit in that he knows he can come across as ungrateful given that his family is incredibly supportive and some people's families, like finn's, are the opposite. otherwise, this is entirely centered around asa's internal feelings. he's had depression nearly his entire life, it's just that when finn is around he's able to find reasons to take care of himself (going outside for long walks, sleeping regularly, paying attention in class because finn tells him to, taking his meds, etc.) and without finn there to ground him, asa is falling apart for more reasons than one. so yes it's the heartbreak of losing your first love, but it's more than that for him. it's losing the primary reason for living in the moment and looking forward to the future :(

he will be soooooooo pissed :( we'll have to wait and see if asa tells him the truth (or the full truth) about how he got to this point... especially after everything asa said in this post; he KNOWS finn wouldn't approve of any of his actions thus far, but he keeps digging his grave deeper and deeper because he's already gone too far, he's already broken finn's trust and he can't leave things like this now :(

that tag is so funny, i wasn't even referring to myself in Sim God terms i was just mad at him as if i'm a powerless reader like the rest of you jfkjsds and YEAH poor casper :( he'll come up in one of the next posts so i don't want to say too much, but the fact that his worst fear is missing out on something important while he's away, to the extent that he's calling constantly to check on his family is so..... :(

Celebratory Sim Dump!! (the sequel)

I am very very late to do this, but, I'm releasing a sim dump to celebrate 100 followers!! 😄

That's so cool!! Thank you so much everyone who follows, likes, comments, or even interacts at all with my posts!! It means so much to me, really, and I'm so grateful for every interaction, big or small 😁😁

But enough of the cheesy thank yous, onward to the sims!!

Here are eight cc free sims, all Young Adults, for download!! All have two skills set to level three as well as set careers (also at level three). Do as you'd like with them, but I did write out little blurbs for them as a starter 😉😉

A little about the sims...

Mara McCoy (she/her) - Friend of the Animals, Cat Lover, Loner, Jealous - Mara ran away from home as a teen and never looked back (was actually a sim I used for a runaway teen challenge that I didn't finish 😅). She prefers plants and cats to people but can occasionally be persuaded to socialize.

Delany Milton (she/her) - Academic Success, Ambitious, Perfectionist, Bookworm - Delany has an intense love of both teaching and learning. She never got the chance to go to college to become a full fledged teacher or professor, but she hopes that one day she'll finally be able to achieve her goals and move beyond her assistant teaching position, or (since it's the sims) work her way up through the ranks.

Jonas Mosher (he/him) - Master Actor, Cheerful, Childish, Glutton - You might recognize him from the teen a day challenge, but now he's a young adult and striving to be an acting superstar! He's still best friends with Courtney.

Courtney Cason (she/her) - Joke Star, Goofball, Unflirty, Erratic - Also from the teen a day challenge! She's on her way to becoming a famous comedian, having started gigs in comedy clubs when she was still a teenager. She's still best friends with Jonas.

Jennifer Nora (they/them) - Archaeology Scholar, Clumsy, Family Oriented, Loves the Outdoors - Jennifer loves archaeology and has dreams of publishing their findings and uncovering ancient artifacts that will cement them in scientific history! They're very close with family and friends (especially their cousin, Blake, who's like a brother to them).

Kellan Stanford (he/him) - Neighborhood Confidant, Gloomy, Outgoing, Lactose Intolerant - Kellan is a very social character. He's always hanging around others, even strangers. There aren't many that can tell you exactly how they met him.. He just sort of appears and is seamlessly integrated into social circles. He's a good sim to know, though, as he's great at giving advice, earning himself the title of neighborhood confidant.

Ernest Porter (he/him) - Master Chef, Good, Foodie, Squeamish - Ernest has big dreams of master chef stardom. However his squeamish and very picky nature tends to lead him more towards baking rather than cooking. One day he hopes to open his own restaurant/bakery combo.

Grant Meade (they/them) - Friend of the World, Loyal, Paranoid, Freegan - A chaotic entity, Grant spends most of their time chilling in whoever's basement they're currently crashing in while crafting conspiracy theories about how the sim world is going to end. Despite their eccentrics, they're a good friend, and will always be the first on the scene should any of their companions need help.

4. What lifespan length do you play with?

I'm one of those weirdos who likes to draw things out as long as possible so I have custom age spans set that are somewhere between the default normal and long settings. But if I'm not ready for a Sim to age either for story or attachment purposes, I have no problem turning off aging for a while either.

16. How do you choose names for your sims?

I do have a list of names I like on my phone, but honestly it more often just comes to me in the moment! Sometimes I'll know based on a Sim's look, or if I'm basing them on someone or something I might choose a name representing that. Sometimes I'll have a loose theme in mind (like nature inspired) and just scroll through baby name lists until one speaks to me.

28. How do you choose your sims’ traits, aspiration, and/or career?

Okay, I'm going to be controversial and say I don't really care about aspirations! They are too few and too broad and too grind-focused for me so I rarely focus on completing them. There are also not enough traits (and I can't get into custom traits), but I usually pick them based on a personality I already have in mind and try to pick at least one "negative" trait in an attempt at complexity. As for careers, honestly, I don't worry too much about money in game and like to actively play my Sims rather than send them off into a rabbithole, so they often have freelance or hobby-based careers. When I do give them a "real" job, it's usually based on what I've learned of their interests either through making them in CAS or watching them grow up in-game.

@morrigan-sims mac absolutely counts :P i forget how long it's been since you guys have seen him, because he's always running around in the background being a nuisance while i'm trying to set up scenes fjskjds but anyway, thank you sooo much for sharing!! the supernatural elements are definitely my favorite too, i try to keep them balanced because i know they're not for everyone, but i find them so interesting to explore.

steviiiie my girl stevie. i don't pick favorites but she does have a special place in my heart (unfortunately for her, that means i pass a lot of my own issues onto her lmao but what else is writing for?) to answer your question: the dream she had as a kid was just a regular "wishful thinking" type dream, nothing prophetic! but if stevie got the chance, she absolutely would go comfort her younger self. she needed the hug :(

godddd this is so sweet, thank you so so much for taking the time to share this with me (it's not too much, it's juuust right haha) 💖 these are some of my favorite scenes i've ever worked on, so i'm really glad you like them!! it's rare that i ever look at one of my own posts and wouldn't change anything, but that's how i feel about jada & alisa's confrontation, like it literally jumped out of my brain and onto the screen exactly how i pictured it. it makes me crazyyy 🥴 i just recently re-read the stevie + truck driver story and the funny thing is, i have no memory of whatever "daddy issues tiktok trend" i was angry about, but i'm glad i wrote it. you're not alone in it being a little too relatable lol. NYC griffin!!! i miss him :( he was probably the happiest version of finn we've seen yet. at the very least, he was the version with the most freedom.
