I honestly expected so much more from the live action Monster High movie’s costumes but I guess that was my mistake

Okay, here's some crazy concepts and ideas I've had of Monster High if it were to be included in the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 game! It might not be the best idea since MH isn't really a classic Nickelodeon/Nicktoons icon, but I thought it would be fun to think about now that the show and live-action movies air there. Any of the main trio and any map would be cool: -Clawdeen: She's fast, strong and super athletic, quite balanced for close and ranged combat -Frankie: They have tons of gadgets, electric powers and can disassemble, they'd be heavier but also good at both styles -Draculaura: Can cast various spells like levitation, teleport, etc... and transform into a bat, she'd be more about keeping distance but deals good damage There could also be nice alternative outfits based on the current doll lines or even the classic G1 looks!

Dynamite Comics and Disney Comics Announce Prequel “Gargoyles: Dark Ages” Mini-Series Slated For June 2023.

Dynamite Comics and Disney Comics announced today an exciting new miniseries event that will continue to expand their hit comic, Gargoyles Gargoyles: Dark Ages will feature a journey into the past and the Manhattan Clan’s origin story, thanks to franchise creator Greg Weisman. Weisman is joined by artist Drew Moss (”Vampirella/Red Sonja, Copperhead”) and letterer Jeff Eckleberry. The book also offers a perfect entry point for newcomers to the franchise and comic series.

Dark Ages will have covers featuring younger visions of iconic characters, with a new mix of artists separate from the main series to offer fans and collectors more unique portrayals of the cast. Legendary artist Clayton Crain (Venom, Spider-Man) leads the way, alongside Alan Quah, Mirka Andolfo, Kenya Danino, and Erica Henderson. Unique and limited edition variants feature an action figure-inspired piece, some pitch artwork from the TV show, and covers by both Jae Lee and interior artist Moss.

As Goliath’s narration explained, “One thousand years ago, Superstition and the Sword ruled. It was an Age of Darkness. It was a World of Fear.” For a time, the Gargoyles of that era lived peacefully alongside humans, each species having sworn to protect the other. But that truce didn’t last, and in 994, the Gargoyle Clan was cursed to sleep as stone statues for a millennium – until they eventually awoke in modern Manhattan. Gargoyles: Dark Ages, set in the year 971, depicts the origins of the Gargoyle-Human Alliance – some twenty-plus years before things came to a bad end. In this never-before-explored era, monsters still come in all shapes and sizes, forcing Gargoyles and Humans to work together to repel the forces of evil, which threaten to bring the Alliance down, from both without and within.

“I have ALL these stories that I’ve wanted to tell for decades now, so I pitched a number of ideas to Dynamite and Disney, and this is the one that excited everyone the most,” said Weisman. “This is an exciting era for the Gargoyle Clan (not to mention an exciting time in Scottish History), and I’m thrilled we’ll all have a chance to explore it together.

“I really enjoyed the show back in the ’90s and was super excited to be even considered for this project,” said Moss. “I am trying to do interior art traditionally, so this allows me to do some washes and other things that allow me to get my hands dirty. I hope to stay true to the art from the show while infusing my own art style to it.”

In addition to the first issue having an oversized 24-page story, each issue of Dark Ages will also feature four pages of complementary prose storytelling by Weisman with spot illustrations. This extra material will allow him to tap into corners of the mythos in a way that will amplify the impact of the entire series. The series will also feature high-quality cardstock covers on each variant. At 40 total pages, Gargoyles: Dark Ages #1 will be the next ultimate celebration of Disney’s iconic franchise.

Moørkutlot (Monster)

(One of Kaimere's most unique and infamous monsters, the silent one was teased for a good few years before we finally got to see exactly what it was and what it evolved from! I have to say, while the titanosaurs and megaraptors and sloths of kaimere are the bread and butter of the setting, the moorkutlot is to my eyes one of its most iconic creatures. Here's a link to the youtube vid about it, if you're interested in alien monsters and/or spec evo, I'd reccomend a watch.

All that said, an animal is only as strong as its context, and while the moorkut is a predator so deadly it can scare an entire ecosystem into silence, I imagine it's kinda small beans in a world that has fire breathing magic lizards the size of a city block as an apex predator.)

Moorkutlot are nightmarish predators of icy forests on a faraway planet, distantly related to amphibians but evolved to a far more active, predatory role. Moorkutlot have a number of adaptations that make them terrifying hunters- their metabolism fluctuates between high- and low- energy periods, making them capable of going months without a meal, but capable of long-term chases and bursts of extreme speed and ferocity. They are social hunters, and in regions where they live a single moorkutlot hunting may lead to a half dozen or so ganging up on a target as the sound of a struggle attracts more. Most notoriously, however, is the non-newtonian fluid produced by modified mucus glands in their body; this is both a defensive tool, protecting them from powerful strikes, and an offensive one. Outside the body, the fluid sticks to skin and joints and makes escape a struggle, but inside the body it is truly dangerous; it rapidly clogs blood and joints, making movement nearly impossible and quickly leading to cardiac arrest. This fluid dissolves in salt, however, and this means that moorkutlot universally avoid oceans.

In their homeland, they are integrated into the ecology of their world as much as any other animal- they are dominant predators, yes, but life around them has learned to accommodate for their behavior and deadly weaponry. Not so for other planets- moorkutlot are occasionally used as terrible biological weapons, something that can be dropped on a planet and allowed to run wild, killing sentients and destroying the local ecosystem.

This horse-sized creature has a face that opens like a flower to reveal snapping jaws, and craggy gray skin covered in strange slime.

This fluid cannot be removed without a DC16 Strength check, universal solvent, or at least a ¼ pound of salt. Metabolic Surge (Ex)- Three times a day, a moorkutlot can push its metabolism into overdrive, giving it an additional move action. It cannot use this ability if it has used it since the start of its last round. Every single TMNT 2012 AU I have (so far):

Turtles In The Roaring 20s - In 1923, Splinter is the proud owner of the most popular underground jazz club in New York, with his four sons being the stars. However there’s family drama going on backstage.

Mission Failed - The Turtles and friends failed their 6 month mission to save the Earth from the Triceratons. 10 years later, the team as split up going their separate ways but are all still haunted by their biggest failure.

Mistress Millennium - I don’t really know if this counts as an AU, it’s just a “what if Renet became a villain?” story.

Salamandrian April AU - April gets captured by the Kraang as a child but it rescued by Sal Commander. To hide her from the Kraang, April grows up on Salamandria along side Mona Lisa where they train together and become like sisters.

Future AU - The Turtles and their friends are now all grown up. Some are married, some have kids of their own and others have successful careers/lives. The story follows their adulthood while also preparing the next generation of the Hamato Clan.

Princess Bride AU - When Kintaro is stuck in bed sick his friend Usagil decides to visit and read him a story about adventure, action, miracles, and true love between a turtle and a lizard.

Actor AU - It’s all a TV show in their world and everyone are just actors. Fun stuff happens behind the scenes when filming TMNT.

Medieval AU - Splinter is the King of the Hamato Kingdom. The Turtles and Miwa are the prince/princess of the kingdom. After Splinter mysteriously dies and Miwa missing, Leo must find a wife and prepare to become king within a year.

Mazes & Mutants - The roleplaying game is now real! A world of fantasy and adventure as the Turtles and friends travel the land, exploring and fighting evil beasts.

Teenage Mutant Monster Turtles - Everyone is a monster (Leo a mummy, Raph a vampire, Mikey a werewolf, Donnie Frankenstein’s Monster etc), hijinx ensue.

Robin Hood AU - Raphael and Slash are the iconic duo of Robin Hood and Little John, robbing from the rich and giving to the poor, rebelling against the wick Sharif, Tiger Claw, and the greedy Prince Newtrailzer.

Human/High School AU - The title is self explanatory. Leo is class president and Mr Popular, Raph is a troublemaking jock, Donnie is a straight A student and tutors his classmates, and Mikey is a class clown.

Childhood AU - The Turtles and all their friends are kids having a big playdate together.

Greek Gods AU - Everyone is their own take on the Greek Gods, but with their own twists. (Ex: Splinter is Zeus but he is NOT a chatting scumbag)

Just like a promise I made my version Monster High characters Gaia Online edition part 2

1. Abbey Bominable

I have two things in mind that I want for Abbey's design.

Snow and Fluff

I found Abominable Cutie items for fur, arms, face and little horns. her hair and clothing colors its mostly white with pink and baby blue details.

I have this headcannon that yetis uses white clothes as camouflauge. Once that Abbey enrolls at Monster High she starts adding more colours in her outfits

I added snowflake hair pin. A snow googles who act as glasses and fanny pack (tribute to MH Live Action)

2. Spectra Vondergeist

For Spectra I thought added indigo and blue in her color scheme instead just purple and black

I found this cute black veil with purple skulls, blue dress, and indigo sandals give impression of floating, black and blue bag and lock hairpin

I keep her iconic chains, her hair and gossiping nature

3. Operetta

For Operetta. I decided keep her original hairstyle buts its black and red ombre hair

While searching scars or deformity items for idea. I came across @cherryfemm post about Operetta's shouldn't wear a mask. And she is right because that whole MH premise its embrace their freak flaws. And I thought why not keep half mask and covers her perfect face. So keeps her dad iconic mask and delivers the message: you shouldn't be shame about your scars and/or deformity

What I love about Operetta is she doesn't care about her deformity. She's not insecure or shame about her appearance.

Also I give her semi-translucent skin so that keep her status as phantom

Her outfit is simple top white and black shirt, red shorts with suspenders, black and white shoes, golden spider earrings and of course her guitar

4 Toralei Stripe

Its combination of G1 and G3 Toralei. A torned black jacket with kitty face printed shirt, pink black and white stripes pants, black and pink boots heeled, and guitar

Headcanon: There's rumor that Toralei's guitar strings are made of her werecats enemies back her criminal days. In reality catguts are not made from cat intestines.

5. Robecca Steam

As for Robecca I didn't do drastic changes to G1 Robecca. I just made her hair little shorter, give her gloves, brown and gold belt and blue and golden boots.

Also I found skin mod to give her shiny robotic skin

6. Venus McFlytrap

As for Venus. I give her blue and pink hair instead green and pink. Pink and black shirt and shorts. a missing pink stocking, mismatched sneakers and black gloves useful for picking up garbage

Still rockin and saving the earth

Oh added green vines and leafy thing in her head

7. Rochelle Goyle

As for Rochelle. I decided more softer pink and lilac color palette. I give her granite skin tone and I found this dress that fits Rochelle's aesthetic.

Its quite expensive but good thing I been saving alot all these years of playing Gaia Online

Added jewelry for her head, black stockings and boots. Lastly this amazing horns and wings the tail was included and I have no idea how to remove tail
