A bit of information about me & my interests.
I was born in Devon and moved to the West Midlands in my teens.
I have many skills, including traditional countryside things like foraging, preserving food, crochet as well as creatively re-using items before it became fashionable.
I have social media accounts, including TikTok, although some may think it's for those younger people than me.
My interests include:
Vintage fashion.
Music.
TV, including quiz shows, comedy, cooking, and documentaries to "real life" shows such MAFS.
Movies from "Hollywood's Golden Age," e.g, Gold Diggers of 1933, up to current films such as to AJ and the Queen.
Musicals including Calamity Jane, Mary Poppins, Sound of Music, Funny Girl, and Hello Dolly.
Fan fiction, including Xena Warrior Princess and Rizzoli & Isles and others.
History. This can be on television, radio, social media, or going to visit somewhere historic.
Reading books covering a range of topics from autobiographies to cooking.
I also like playing games on my phone from the Candy Crush range of games to Solitaire and Best Fiends, etc.

Sometimes all it takes is a stranger on the internet telling you not to listen to the impulsive self destructive thoughts to help you push thru. I’m over here crying ugly tears bc a “pen/knife” was being advertised and a tiktoker “mommacusses” stitched the video to remind anyone who immediately thought about self harm to get that product out of ur cart, it’s not for you. Idk I really wish I could’ve been told that when I was younger, but hearing it now still hits the same. I feel silly for crying, I just didn’t realize how much I needed to hear that.

Okay, this mom on youtube and tiktok, Mommacusses, is amazing, say what you will about gentle or responsive parenting, she gives what I want to be able to do when and if I have kids in the future, and for now with just my digital kids, I want to reflect that amazing information I have just learned from her onto my sweet-hell babies, I wish I was as good as her, but I’m not and that’s okay, I’m still learning how to be a parent, and these are just people I know online, I’m a child and I want my children to be able to know I am a figure they are safe around. I am their parent and they should be able to be comfortable. Go look her up, Pleasant Peasant Media on YouTube, even if you aren’t wanting to be a parent I still encourage watching her videos, it could give you a better understanding on kids,
