me personally i have a pref for fem!chigiri going through middle school with a badass short wolfcut then growing it out to hide (like in canon) BUT ALSO fem!chigiri who had long hair that she was v proud of and cutting it off after her injury leaving her more or less unrecognizable and keeping it short and being known as prince rather than princess

fem!karasu who still has a wackass haircut that she somehow manages to pull off

Welcome everyone!

This is the official blog of the Cardfight!! Vanguard prompt week! Made by us, a team of CFV fans who want to bring together the fandom and celebrate a franchise we love.

But who is “we”? Let’s meet the mods!

Heyho, I’m Reo (they/them)! This whole thing was my idea, so I guess I’m the head of this operation. This fandom means a lot to me and I wanted to do my part to contribute to it and keep it alive. I’m grateful for every contribution and I really look forward to seeing some cool artworks and fics emerge from this.

Hi! I’m Aeon, but you can also call me Blue, and I use they/them, it/its pronouns. You can find me on Tumblr as @/crossroadofinterests and on AO3 as BlueSkies_BrokenStars. When I heard of the possibility to give life to a Cardfight!! Vanguard week I was positively ecstatic: the original series is my comfort show, and taking part in the organization of such an event is my way to thank both the characters that we all love and the wonderful people of this fandom. I’ll do my best to make this a pleasant experience, so let’s all have fun together!!

How does it work?

In case you’ve never seen a prompt week in action, the concept is simple:

We will provide you with a curated list of prompts with set dates, as well as a specific hashtag.

Anyone who wants to can create fanworks for these specific prompts, be it fanart, fanfiction, edits, headcanon lists, playlists etc. whatever you want! Just post your contributions to tumblr on the date for the prompt with the corresponding hashtag, and maybe tag this blog to if you like!

We’ll reblog every single contribution to this blog.

Everyone gets to enjoy new fanworks!

When will it happen?

We don’t have a set date yet, but definitely soon! We are currently aiming for August 22nd to August 28th (because of Kai’s b-day).

Before that though, we need to decide on the prompts. And that’s where YOU come into play!

Note(s): Hopefully there's some patch in the future or expansion that adds more races and subclasses to the game. I mean, there's goblins, Shadar-Kai, and Deva NPCS. Why can't we play as those too 😖

Also, while I love the idea of Aasimar, I can just imagine the angst/comfort with a Fallen Aasimar. Maybe that's just cause I'm a SadoMasochist tho

Astarion

Oh he is so fascinated when he meets you. Thinks your wings are a bit much (if reader is a fallen Aasimar with the featherless wings then Astarion will probably comment about "There's enough brooding without you one upping me").

Debates rather to ask you for a feather. The only reason he debates it is because he doesn't want to take a piece of you away, he's had that happen to himself enough times that he doesn't want to do it to others.

I will say that Astarion probably would either get along the most or avoid a Fallen Aasimar the most just because the darkness those Aasimar carry reminds him too much of himself and his past. While it would be good to talk to someone that might have an idea of the level of trauma he has, he also would rather repress it all and act like he's fine instead.

Gale

He finds you fascinating. Of course he knows what Aasimars are and it does make him feel a bit bittersweet. I mean, here you are, a champion of the gods. And yet he can't even get a message from his own.

If you are an Aasimar with feathered wings then he'd love to have a few (maybe after you've molted or if you're willing to just part with some) to add some new quills to help him with his writing and transcribing spell scrolls in his book.

Now if you're a fallen Aasimar, that just makes him more curious. He's probably heard an unreliable telling of the fallen ones from Mystra so he'd want to hear more about your story. Maybe you both can both lament about losing your connections to your deities as well as help build each other back up because who needs those asshole gods anyway.

Halsin

Halsin has probably heard of Aasimar but has never had the pleasure of meeting one before. He finds you to be beyond beautiful. Might chuckle and make a comment about being under-dressed while in your presence.

He would love to sit down with you and learn more about what it's like to be a champion of the gods. Of course, if you're a fallen Aasimar then he can only imagine the weight and burdens you must carry, ones that he'd gladly help you carry so you don't feel so alone.

Should your wings need grooming and you trust Halsin enough, then he'd like to help. He's befriended (and sometimes bedded) quite a few winged friends that he'd be gentle and delicate with helping you take care of your wings.

Isagi had no idea what he was going to do with Nagi,honestly he’s still wondering why Nagi decided to move in after graduation. It wasn’t like he was in dire need of a place to stay,Reo was open arms for him all the time.

Isagi sighed as he began to take clothes out of the dryer,it was a chore day and as always,he’s the one doing all of them. Every single one. Sure,Nagi does move around the house sometimes…Emphasizing on the sometimes.

Isagi began folding the clothes,majority of them being Nagi’s. Isagi knew Nagi wasn’t going to come get them so he walked to his room and opened the door,before inviting himself in to put Nagi’s clothes on his bed.

“Can you get me some chips and soda?”

Isagi didn’t know what he expected,of course Nagi wanted him to get something so he can stay attached to that gaming chair of his.

WOW okay THANK YOU ALL FOR 100 FOLLOWERS 🤧🥹

I was really expecting to lose followers when I announced I was leaving sims 4 (temporarily now), I don't really know what to say I'm really bad at expressing gratitude for things so this is kind of hard but genuinely thank you, thank you all :)

As a side note, I'm really excited to start posting We're all Sick, there is an unfortunate chance it won't start getting posted for another week or two just because I'm reallllllyyyyy trying to let my Sims 4 burnout fester and dissipate, that being said, I can always just start doing things the hard way, which is making scenes in blender myself if I REALLY cannot get back into TS4, and with THAT being said, posts would come out a LOT slower just because making scenes is new to me and also (as i can imagine) VERY time consuming. I'm mainly putting off going back to ts4 cuz idk if I have to reinstall the packs that I very legally obtained, and also with a new update means mod updating and ugh.... having over 50 script mods that i have to update...... yeah, not fun. But I do promise at the VERY least to actually post WAS. I love seeing what you all have to say about the teasers and it just makes me so antsy to just make the first post asap

I'd also like to say that it really really warms my heart whenever I see someone say I'm an inspiration for them or have inspired them or changed the way they do something, I genuinely have never seen myself as a person to be an inspiration, at the very least I just see myself as someone who can make a couple people laugh and that's good enough for me, but to have the impact of inspiring people is a whole other boat that I haven't walked on, and I say thank you, I couldn't have even imagined ever being considered an inspiration in my entire life.

And finally, between now and the first WAS post, I will attempt to do some more Leo and Roo lore drops, I have been itching to get back into their story, especially since I haven't fully finished showing off their little timeline, and not to mention the fact that they are still having problems with acceptance of what happened, both in their own ways.

But in the meantime, yall will have to stomach BG3 posts, my reblogs, minor lore drops in reblogs and some Reo content. 🫶

Made new fort in new world (to try out a few really cool mods for plants and dyes lmao), put it north of the northern-most (is that a word) place that currently exists. We have glaciers and snow all year round, also sometimes a yeti?? comes by.

Our fort doesn't attract any migrants in any season. We're in our year two and had the reo (?) pre-programmed migrant waves and then nothing.

However.

We get a CONSTANT stream of bards, poets, and performance troupes? I'm talking "like every week" constant??

A lot of them petition for residency???

So half of my glacier fort is now performers????

My apparently famous tavern (The Tin Sugars) might I add, is still a few squares stomped into the Sandy Loam layer because we have ALL the aquifiers immediately under the dirt and digging goes SLOW. We have two tables and chairs from chestnut. We have one chest. Also from chestnut.

I'm rolling with it, in particular because visitors seem to spike in the even-colder months, and now my lore is that people are just SO happy to find a warm place in the frozen Wilderness (it's Wilderness, yay, we have Giant Elks and Giant Grackles) that they're go, "I'm NEVER LEAVING AGAIN".

Now let's just hope the naked goblins start picking up some clothes if I make them in their size.

(Also a Giant Grackle just "grabbed" one of the human poets "by the upper front teeth" with a wing. Huh.)

I'm having an awful week.... So here's random facts about me and this beautiful fucking hoe of mine 😩😩:

Shorter and I would get so high or drunk off our faces, we end up slow dancing to upbeat club music at a rave party

Learnt to get around New York City because of him

Shorter does the cooking coz he can't stand bland boiled vegetables and meat... not my fault it's good for you SHEESH =3=

He likes my baking at least.. and he's suprised that it ain't bland XD

During art school, I couldn't stop drawing him. (Also true irl, I will admit. Except art school being in America. I never left this oversized island before XD) And honestly still can't stop.

We argue over which consoles better. He prefers Playstation while I prefer Xbox.... then Ash slam dunks us with PC having mods, 4K and more games. Like bruh.

I call his motorcycle Red Steed

Shorter chose the gamer tag "The BFG" Which I've mistaken for as "The Big Friendly Giant"... but he was referring to the weapon in DOOM 4/ Eternal "The Big Fucking Gun" And of course he changed it after that convo XDD

Out of all of Shorter's friends, I can't get along with Ash. Simply because every game he touches beats my high score and I have to spend all day and night trying to reclaim the dozens of high scores =-=

Shorter would definitely hate my dad, especially while my dad's drunk and wouldn't hesitate to beat his ass. And he doesn't need my permission to either. Someone needs to knock some sense into that fool when he gets like that.

I swear Shorter teaching me Chinese and making me say it after him is his plan to kill me with embarrassment. But he convinced me he's being genuine by letting me teach him Te Reo... now I understand why he likes making me nervous XDD

Ngl I love it when he's emotional or sensitive, its so fucking sweet

I've met Nadia and she's so fucking cool, I love it when she talks about every single embarrassing story she has of her brother.. but Shorter hates it. Probably why he doesn't like hanging around his sister while I'm there, if he had to stay then he's probably thinking "Wow, they're bitches from different witches alright."

He never admitted that he was in a gang yet and I haven't admitted that I have PCOS, Diabetes type 2 or Hypertension... coz I have no idea what he'd do if he finds out this whole time we can't have a kid so easily or at all if it was ever decided ^^;... then again, what would I be thinking if he told me he leads a whole mafia and killed people before? o3o;

I play Fortnite and he hates seeing it on the TV almost every... Fortnite 👀 (bad pun ik XD)

Between me and Shorter, I'm mostly terrible to sleep with. I kneed him hard in the butt once in our sleep and now we have a pillow barrier between us.. still gotta get use to sharing a bed XD

I hate it when he watches me draw coz he knows I'm always drawing him

It was a surprise to me that he could do graffiti art and shamelessly flawless at it, but he has no idea why I'm making such a big deal out of it

I appreciate how he likes to talk about his culture, means he's closer to home than we think. Me? I rather be far from my home as possible tbh XD

Short summary of me

I'm in my mid 20s, I work full time, and I am one of the most infrequently social person you'll ever meet. Despite that I am a very excitable and soft person and I love chatting about anything, but especially anime :3 My ask box is wide open!<3 also it is physically painful for me to not use some kind of smiley face :) I love them :D I want people to know I'm smiling >:) (painfully addicted to emojis and the use of 'lol' cant help myself)

If we chat enough for me to give you my discord, you'll find that very often it takes me several days upwards of weeks to respond. i sweAr im not ignoring you---my social battery is just sad and recharging.

IF YOU SEE ME active on discord ((especially for hours at a time) and I'm not responding to messages, I am definitely gaming with my man. We play games together as quality time, and we're never tired of each other.
