#Hi its me! mod dox here#I wanna say that Im really sorry for the sudden disappearance of this blog#i promise we dont want to drop it (or at least. i dont want to)#we havent been back for 2 major reasons:#1. ive been Very burnt out. Something has happened in the Minecraft YouTube fandom
It’s such a mess… antis learned that an artist that was commissioned for one of SMajors thumbnails drew NSFW and attacked. Artist tried reaching out to Major about it and major basically said he didn’t want to get involved. But then on a live stream major basically threw the artist under the bus saying he didn’t know what proship was, just to save his own hide.
Which triggered another wave of attacks from antis. That ended in a full dox needing police protection and suicide watch. And deactivation of social media.
And it’s just awful. Major changed his boundaries just to save himself. For him it’s kinda a face eating leopard party, kind of thing. If antis had even an ounce of a real mission they would tear him apart. ‘So much flirting, queer, age gaps.’ Every thing they say they hate. I’m so tired of the hypocrisy.
ugh what a mess, I hope that that artist is okay

What’s been going on, a summary
Hello everyone I have finally decided to speak about something that’s been happening with me lately.
I’m tired of scooting around it and being vague.
For nearly the past two years, I’ve had a stalker. Stalking my blogs, what I say in public servers, what I say on other websites, etc etc.
I left servers over them, i even gave up servers I used to run because of this.
I often turn off my ask boxes and DMs at random to avoid getting harassed further or to attempt to “stop it” for a short amount of time. Just for a moment of peace.
Earlier this year I left all servers and whatnot after receiving a threat of doxxing me. I got afraid and stressed so I just left without saying why. I cut off social contact for the most part without saying why. I was scared and stressed and overwhelmed by it all.
But yesterday, after getting a onslaught of messages spread across my blogs. I was in fact, doxxed and received several threats on my partners life.
We are fine however. My partner is fine and I am fine (as I can be given the circumstances). I just wanted to state that, we are fine.
We have support and are dealing with it behind the scenes. We are fine aside from me being (reasonably) a bit emotional over it.
I do not know who the individual is. I’m primarily harassed and sent threats via anon or burner accounts. So, it’s led to me being quite paranoid around people and what I say and do.
Hence why I left servers and why I don’t talk to anyone anymore. It’s made me paranoid and afraid. Because I just! Do not know who. I just don’t know.
I don’t know what I even did to this person. I don’t know why they haven’t chosen to just block me if they don’t like me. I don’t get it and I’m tired of trying to reason with them or understand.
So. As of now.
All my inboxes are closed to asks for the time being. As well as making my DMs to be “mutuals only” since there isn’t entirely a “close DMs” option.
They won’t be closed forever and I do still plan on answering any asks/interactions I’ve already gotten. I just am keeping everything closed for a bit. I am merely trying to limit how much they can harass me for the time being. I hope you all understand.
So that’s, what’s been happening with me.
I’ve been trying to avoid speaking publicly out of fear of being doxxed, but that happened anyways.
So I don’t know what’ll happen after me posting this, if it’ll get worse or not. Whatever happens, happens I suppose.
Again, I want to reiterate that my partner and I are fine. We are dealing with it and handling it behind the scenes.
I’m just, speaking publicly about it now to explain my rather, erratic behavior over the past year.
Sorry for the long and sudden serious post, but after discussing it with others, we think that maybe me posting about it publicly will help.
Again, apologies for dropping this suddenly, just unsure on what else to do here.
I’ll still be around, lurking and quietly working on content. But I’m just going to have my asks/DMs mostly turned off to hinder the amount of harassment I can get for the time being.

A vent about the poll runner that got doxxed:
I was originally going to reblog the post, as many people have - and I don't blame anyone for doing so, it's something people will want to spread awareness about, especially among other poll runners, because the stakes just got a lot higher. It's not just worrying about mean and hateful people in your inbox or your notes - which can be extremely harmful on its own and has led some mods to abandon their polls - but it adds a new layer of concern.
doxxing is very serious, it comes with it's own mess of fears to the victim: there's the same psychological harm you might get from the hate, but also a physical danger, because letting someone know you have their address is a threat. It's a very clear and serious threat, even if you don't say you'll do anything. It can be traumatizing, a lot of us are already neurodivergent and/or mentally ill in ways something like that can cause more harm than it would to a mentally healthy/neurotypical person, and those would probably be heavily affected by it as well. If you struggle with paranoia as a symptom of anything, or just very high anxiety, this could change your life drastically. If you don't struggle with those, you might start to. I don't know what kind of sick fuck would doxx someone without knowing how awful their action is, but on the off chance there's people out there that would do it and somehow don't realize the gravity, please have some compassion. You don't even need empathy, you just need common sense. Think critically about how you're going to hurt that person. Hurt people around them. Why do you want to do that?
In the end I decided against reblogging the original post. I don't know OP, i don't know how they're feeling right now, I can only hope they're as okay as they can be, and they're safe. But I know that in their place I wouldn't want notifications reminding me of the whole thing. I know you can turn those off, but I felt more comfortable not reblogging it. I also won't say who the victim is, I don't feel comfortable exposing them like that, but there's lots of other poll runners reblogging it* and you might find out through them.
*to clarify, i'm not trying to claim me not reblogging it is somehow the "morally correct choice". its not a matter of what's correct, it's just a personal choice. In fact, i'm thankful that people are reblogging it because I was made aware of the danger, as I didn't follow op. There's pros and cons to either decision, mine was to not reblog.
And not to make this about myself, that's really not my intention, but i'm fucking terrified after reading that. I haven't given up on the poll, but I might need some time to recover because i'm not exactly the most stable person and shit like this rlly messes me up. I hope you can all understand if the round one polls don't come out on sunday. I won't apologize if they don't, cause i think this is a pretty good reason to need a break.
Once again, I hope the mod for that poll is safe, and i hope they can recover from this soon.

gonna be briefly petty on main here cause i've blocked this person since I got into this fandom and i never want to interact with them ever, but I genuinely do not know why you'd trust the person w/ the canon artemis url when they keep dressing up their opinion as fact, cherrypick citations if they use them at all, and keep going onto the posts of new people to be like ACTUALLY THE BOOKS SUCK AND THE AUTHOR SUCKS in what seems to be some bizarre attempt to control new folks' reading experience.
Like I know they're an oldguard BNF and all but holy shit, if I'd interacted with that person literally at all upon getting into the fandom I would have been turned off these books forever. Genuinely don't get it tbh.

I cannot describe to you what it's like to wake up, open youtube, almost immediately get hit by an ex jumpscare (as in, my ex in a thumbnail of a recommended video) and not even a minute later get slapped with a former tumblr crush jumpscare

When people try to play off proship concerns regarding harassment from antis as "overblown" or "not that big a deal", when people have been doxed and lost their jobs over this shit, it comes off the same as when people say "we don't need feminism because I'm doing fine". Like great. Good for you. Glad you're not affected by this. A lot of people ARE affected by it though, and if it continues, your bubble of relative comfort and safety disappears too.

Are mixed origins systems allowed to reblog your userboxes, even if we were professionally diagnosed?
We consider mixed origins under the endogenic umbrella, and would prefer them not to interact. Also, many of the times systems who consider themselves mixed origins often fall under the pro-endo part of our DNI as well.
I could share thoughts about mixed origin systems, but I don’t want to get into syscourse or into arguments on this blog. If you later end up finding out you are traumagenic DID/OSDD instead of mixed origins, and your beliefs are not pro-endo, then at that point in the future, you would be welcome to interact. At this point in time though, we will decline, due to a plethora of negative and hurtful experiences with both the endo and pro-endo community.
