Been trying to get out of a bad habit of

“If I post blog work, it MUST be a fully shaded fully background image. Must be 100%. Oh you posted a version with a gradient background? How could you”

Been ingrained to me for YEARS and has been ever since I joined as a kid. Been trying to get out of this bad habit mindset but struggling greatly.

But I’m like. A grown adult now. I’m turning 26 next week. I got a job and many health problems and IRL priorities… I can’t just… do what I used to all the time

As a kid? Hell yeah 40+ panel posts all the time YEAAAA

I just don’t have that in me anymore and it’s effecting my blogs cuz…. I rarely update.

Been so stressed over it and I just gotta drill it through my skull that I’m not like. Doing this professionally. I’m not doing this as a job or getting paid. Not even like I have a huge audience expecting stuff from me.

Staring at others who can do so much more than I can, even with the adult responsibilities and whatnot. Envious because “how can THEY do it but I can’t?” And just…. Really bogging myself down about it and it’s!!! So silly.

Im just a guy that maybe like.. 7 people know. I gotta stop putting so much pressure on myself. I run stupid little blogs with stupid little characters… it’s not that deep Raymond!!! Chill out!!!

So ALL IN ALL…

I might start doing “simpler” posts. Things that aren’t fully shaded or background and stuff… maybe even just my silly single color doodle style…

Obviously not every post will be “half assed” but like. I should save my energy for more important posts, y’know??

Idk. Im getting old and it’s getting to me a bit. I want to create and be active and update but it’s just so hard with all the Adult Responsibilities and whatnot.

Just feel bad never updating a lot over a crippling anxiety that is just such a nothing burger. Like I really need to chill out with it. It’s not that deep like come on man!!! Get it through your skull @ me!!!

TLDR: I’m going to try to do quicker and less “polished” posts. I don’t have the time or energy to shade/background every single thing ever. I’m a adult now with stuff IRL and gotta accept it

So if you see my posts “quality” go down then.. that’s why lmao

(( Silly Community Question Time !!! This one is extra silly because... What did YOU do at recess as a kid!! I always enjoy hearing people talk about silly things like this... And oddly enough whenever someone answers it I feel like I know them a bit better. Like ... yeah you would be a tetherball guy huh... I can see it! /silly PLUS... Tide is a teacher so I figured it fit this blog to ask! )) (( as for me.. the Mod... I was... a roleplay kid.. I would run around on all fours either being a warrior cat or a wolf or a dragon or something... Yeah I was that kid... and I would do it again!!! Or kids and I would bring our LPS toys and play in the grass with them a lot. I wasn't much for play equipment since that was where the "Cool Kids" were lmao I'm partial to the swings myself!! Or if was at a FANCY park... the zipline... zipline save me... I love you zipline... ))

Favourite and least favourite color

(( UNFORTUNATELY I am that person that uhhhh

I like all colors? I used to be super opinionated on colors but in recent years I have learned to like and appreciate all colors. No matter what. (Not trying to be “deep” or anything I am just no longer that bitter of a person and I like colors now lmao)

But color COMBINATIONS? I am more picky about, but usually find a way to like most things.

I would say my favorite color combination is this

I like it when black is the primary/base color with pastel accent colors!! I use these ones primarily but pretty much any combination will appease me!

As for something I hate?

Nothing entirely comes to mind other than Unpleasant Gradient

Unpleasant gradient oddly sends me into a angry state like I had to Google this meme and instantly frowned upon seeing it ))

(( I always found the thing of "company makes like 4 renders of the character to just copy and paste over and over for everything" funny as heck. Like I swear I've seen certain renders SO MANY TIMES on SO MANY DIFFERENT THINGS its so funny to me always. CAT NEEDS SURGERY

Hello everyone! I know this looks like a bit of a lengthy post but I need some help

My cat Beary had broken his leg sunday morning, and it took 3 days of him dealing with that for my family to get him into an affordable vet

The costs are 1300$ for his surgery, 155$ for his exam/x-ray.

(I also have personal needs for my own dentistry)

Paying for my cat's leg is putting a serious dent in my savings of several months including my very own appointment and needs. Don't worry though! He has everything scheduled so he'll be okay

But I would really appreciate boosts and anyone checking out my commissions and adopts! For as cheap as 5 dollars, you can get a doodle! I also have some cheap designs and am taking requests

I know everyone loves to dogpile on the antagonist (I know I do) but it was SO NICE TO GET TO WORK WITH ALAXIA FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE!! You let me show a different side/aspect to his character that isn't his normal mwuahahaha AND I APPRECIATED IT SO MUCH!!!
