Just Anti Things: "It's problematic to ship these two because she was a minor when they met!"
She kidnapped him, used mind control potion to keep him under her total control for three years, kidnapped him, killed his entire crew, repeatedly raped him, left him to die on an iceberg in the Arctic, and her entire justification was 'your grandfather was a fascist who hurt my family historically so I'm completely within my rights to do whatever I want with you'.
Firstly, he's not the abuser here, and secondly, how does the 5 year age gap even register as a problem compared to all of that?
Anyone else find it terrifying that antis will side with the younger party even when she drugged and raped a man repeatedly? It's like they think being a minor/younger means you can't be abusive. And they apply that logic even when the abuse is so clear-cut there's no good-faith way to say she was the victim.
If antis think fiction = what you support in reality, what do they think defending a murderous rapist indicates about themselves?

If you don't mind I'd like to ask you (or your followers) if you think something is worth reporting?
In the end author note on a work on ao3 the author went on a typical anti rant (proshippers are gross and harmful blah blah trauma dumping and blaming) and ended it with "proshippers go die".
I'm not sure this would constitute a harassment report or if I'm just being too sensitive. And idk if it would matter but the work is orphaned.

It is 420 so take this rambling with lots of salt.
But I feel like those antis who are particularly uptight about what happens to a fictional character/what situations you write a character in are also ppl who did not play a Sim-style game in the late 90s/early 00s.
So very many of us had Sim City or Rollercoaster Tycoon and played them in such a way as to cause the biggest disasters possible. Like completely ignoring the point of the game to just be unhinged.
Free yourself. Build a residential neighborhood next to a nuclear power plant and then drop a meteor on it. Build a rollercoaster that ends by throwing riders off a cliff. There is no better example of the idea that these are all dolls in a sandbox than that.
Truth! I remember growing up and watching my cousin play the sims and one of her favorite things to do was to lock all her sims in the house and set it on fire. My aunt was terrified that she was going to grow up to be a serial killer but she turned out fine

For context im about to turn nineteen. I've been feeling more and more guilty about still being into fandom and having hobbies instead of spending 99% of my time looking for a job and talking about taxes or whatever the fuck antis think grown adults do.
Antis have created this narrative that the moment you turn 20 you should immediately drop everything you love and get a dead end job and be miserable for the rest of your life. And if you don't do that you're weird and creepy and a freak who's probably a pedo/s
Seeing people in their 20s being called freaks for still writing fanfics or just having fandom related hobbies in general makes me wanna throw my phone into a lake and never log on ever again
