Miscelleanous traditional doodles of Barry Norman, one of the main characters for my Feltling setting! He's a ex child actor who was the star of a 80s children show that's now a office worker with a very Very normal life. :)

Some of these artworks are a bit old and still conceptual but they still work well I think! I'd say they're a good introduction to him! More about Barry under the cut!

Barry Norman was first conceptualised for a children's puppet TV show in the 80s. In it, he was a little girl of a different name who would dance and sing songs, read stories, and teach valuable lessons to any children watching. As sweet natured the show was, being born to literal stardom was rough on Barry, and he felt like he could never really be himself as every move of his was watched and leaving it was impossible due to it being the only thing he knew. Add to that he had many Kid Things to deal with, such as his education and general development. Eventually as ratings lowered, the show was cancelled, leaving a then still young Barry alone and without much else direction to take.

However, through support with some handlers that still stuck by him to care for him, Barry managed to continue on with life and his education. He decided to never return to the entertainment industry due to the trauma it inflicted and has since worked a variety of mundane and quieter jobs, the most recent of which being a office worker now that he's in his forties.

However, as much as Barry prefers the quieter life, there are still times he can't help but miss when he got to sing songs, preform for others, and read stories. He misses the fun he did have in performing and being able to make people happy through it, but he finds the thought of putting himself in any spotlight or being noticeable in any way to be terrifying, and he suppresses a lot of these aspects to live as 'normally' as one can, even if it is clearly suffocating for him.

Personality wise, Barry is a friendly and affable sort, often going out of his way to be helpful for others, but he is easily overworked and stressed. Add to him repressing a lot of aspects of himself to be as 'normal' and unnoticeable as possible, you get kind of a wreck of a man, though he does try his best.

i forgot to liveblog the new skeppy yt videos like i said i would so here are my reviews: "........." was fun i was very endeared when skeppy read out the "game is game" in chat and scoffed about it and as for the fortnite video well i hope he plays more fortnite and miscelleanous games. i am aware this is asking a lot from him of course.

Vigil HC.

Death ritual.

Natlanians are very ritualistic people, moreso in smaller settlements than those of the main city. Being under the watchful gaze of the Archon of War; Murata, all natives are taught to attend a death ritual, especially after a time of war, if to stand vigil, watch over the departed and making sure souls have a safe journey to, what they typically view as the Afterlife, rather than ascending for Celestia.

They believe souls should go to their own world instead of being 'taken' by the Heavens.

Because of this, its always been a topic of high debate but at the same time, its better to leave their cultures and traditions alone.Its a pretty good reason as to why, Natlan is so isolated from the world than any other nations or miscelleaneous landmarks.

They do not want their rituals to be critisized, converted and so forth. They just do what they've always done; stand vigil.

The vigil itself may come off as mundane, not thoroughly impactful but thats not what its looking to do. It may simply involve standing there, by gravestones, silent until nothing pass them by but the whistling wind and other background noises.

Common folks tends to either stand or sit by graves, warrior-esque individuals do the same but with the addition of lowering their weapons, wheter by their sides, onto the laps or on the ground, in front of them.

Another used method but rather uncommon, is striking the ground itself, where they believe is this Afterlife of theirs, to send souls in this safe journey to be laid to rest.

Items belonging to the deceased or long lost ancestors are also buried with the body, signifying how much they have cherished. This vigil is not exclusive to the natives, sometimes when they have to bury non natives, which is rare, they will stand silent vigil. However, if they are able, Natlanian officials will send back deceased bodies to the nations they belong to, knowing deceased ones will be more at peace being laid to rest, in their own homelands.

For a time, because of the lockdown in Inazuma, the people couldn't send back bodies, so they buried them within their own nation instead. Once the lockdown stopped, an official was sent to give the news, deliver closure at the very least but could not move any buried bodies, given it is seen as a severe crime, even amongst the people themselves.

Hinamori, being of Natlanian blood, was taught the same by her mother, even though she is partially Inazuman. Beside, all nations are bound to greatly value the deceased/ancestors. However, she follow the Natlanian methods rather than the other one, minus setting down Dendrobiums.

The Dendrobium flower.

Never once, has Hinamori believed the Dendrobium to be a sign of terrible bloodshed or bad omens, whatever people would label it as. To her, the Dendrobium is more than a symbol of Death, it is Memories contained within, of Remembrance to those who died, wheter valiantly, in believing what they did or even in meaningless scuffles.

For Hina to drop by graves, with such a flower, means she is giving back the memories of those who fell in battle rather than wishing them unwell. The least a deceased soul deserve, is to have their memories, the bad and good, be on a safe journey with them, to be recovered, to let it be known that someone cares about the life they had, no matter how short. As is the case with Watatsumi soldiers who died, even if she was mostly a stranger to them.

While she has preference for standing while in vigil, there are times, she sit, laid down her weapon & occasionally hum a Natlanian melody, foreign in nature, in the names of the fallen. But she does this when at her lonesome instead of being in company, least she trust you to not say a single word or ask what has been sung.

Verdant illumination.

Weapons, while not mandatory in such ritual, can be brought at graveyards, usually from warriors rather than common villagers/citizens, without any ill intent behind that.

Hinamori prowess as a warrior, follows both Inazuman and Natlanian teachings. (See her battle oriented HCs to know all about it). However, spiritually speaking, she follow suit with the latter's teachings.

She, technically, does not have to take her weapon out, mainly because this is not Natlan but she do it either way.

Each times, she would summon and put down Verdant, it would flare to life in Dendro Energy, as if partaking in the vigil alongside its wielder; her. Somehow, its the weapon's own way to guide souls to what is deemed the Afterlife in the eyes of Natlan populace, a quiet domain where Celestia's grasp does not reach.

As silly as it sounds, despite being a Vision Bearer, Hinamori would much rather die normally, as an independent Great Tree instead of what typically happens to allogenes & the whole ascending to Celestia ordeal.

She does not crave this so called godhood. Being partially Natlanian, this woman would prefer something less grandiose, less shackling. She'd rather die, with her weapon at her side & come back as a Nature Spirit than anything else.

Really, one can only dream...

Rumor.

A rumor long gone from being debated upon but for a long time, it was circulated that a ghost was singing, mourning, haunting and so on, graveyard sites. While many tried to catch on what was really happening, for several days, they were at a loss.

Then, one night, curious citizens of this rumor, ended up realizing, get confirmation that, all along, it was just Hinamori's foreign lullaby, which tends to sound very ghost-like. Obviously, that knowledge brought end to the scary rumor.

However, it became something more along the line of a fright story usually told at tourists/visitors of abroad and sometimes, Hinamori herself would bring this story as a real thing, to jumpscare the unwary, especially when Halloween is growing close.

That said, if one happens to hear this foreign tune, in the middle of night, dark hours, then its just her standing vigil for a departed.

Pahsiv HSR Verse.

Disclaimer; Pahsiv is not part of the Script, neither is she some honorary or full fledged Stellaron Hunter. Pahsiv is, however, what one may call a freeloader. She lives with the gang but stray from whatever their endgame is. Don't be alarmed if she knows some muses ahead of time.

Summary.

Keeping it short and sweet, in this verse, rather than using the term Melusine, Pahsiv is a Sea Borne Fairy. However unlike most sea fairies, she is the only one bearing the cross between an orca and sea serpent, hence the unusual eyes.

Pahsiv has a cozy life with the Hunters, in spite of having accidentally left her real home.

Headcanons.

Having a secondary place to call home, allows Pahsiv to often see beyond where she originally comes from and it is possibly the biggest reason as to why she no longer feel like going back.

In spite of knowing what the others do, this whole script and all, she has nothing to do with it.

In contrary to what one may end up thinking, its cozy where she is, on top of being treated well, of being treated like a little sister despite being much older underneath the surface.

Though that most of her times are spent indoors, there can be times, when the others are too busy, that she head out to explore, try and learn new things, buy things when able to.

Pahsiv is not assigned/follow on any Paths but she wields miscelleanous abilities as a sea borne fairy.

Sea serpent does not equals to being a Luofu dragonic citizen.

Her room is fairly spacious, mostly because a decorated water tank is in there, just so she has somewhere to swim.

Because of said tank, she does not use the bed all this much.

Whenever the others are busy, chances are Pahsiv will drop by the Astral Express or if something did happen, that help has to be sought.

Like in main verse, HSR Pahsiv is struggling with communication but she is much better at it than in Genshin verse.

She likes to have tea times, atleast ever since she saw normal kids partake in it. On top of that, she will persuade others to dress up for the occasion, even if it were to include someone like Blade.

Throwing fits on the other hand, cause her to start & make it rain, wheter in or outdoor.

Don't let her childish or struggling demeanor fool you, in her own way, Pahsiv is a smart cookie and don't particularly have a difficult time when it comes to reading to learn.

Her water tank hardly ever truly need changes or cleaning, especially considering she can purify all manners of liquids, not just stained water.

If you're planning on starting the game fresh, or just looking for something new to add to your existing mod mountain, you should find something worth your time below. Almost every mod we've chosen will work with either the regular or Skyrim Special Edition, and we've provided links to both versions - or similar alternatives - where necessary. There's also undoubtedly many, many great mods that we've not included. If you think your favourite Skyrim mod is an essential install, then take to the comments and make your case. What I like to do is create a new, unmodified game, get somewhere like Riverwood and then create a save that I can use for testing. We've only picked the very best Skyrim mods, but there are so many available that we've had to break them down by category. You can hop directly to the kind of mod you want via the links below. There are several good ones, but Nexus Mod Manager is your best bet. Download Nexus Mod Manager. Before you test anything in-game, run LOOT. It takes seconds. You can launch it directly from the. Download Achievements Mods Enabler. Basically, it spruces up a huge pile of 3D models, making all of Skyrim look nicer in hundreds of tiny ways. Skyrim HD is a long-running texture mod that replaces over textures. Everything from the sky and mountains to the interiors of ramshackle hovels has been done up. Optionally, you can download just the cities, landscapes, dungeons or miscelleanous packs. This is specifically for old Skyrim, but there are plenty of great alternatives for the Special Edition. Another huge, broad texture mod, this time specifically for the Special Edition. The latest version of the mod only comes with one complete file, but the version is more modular. You can pick what you want retextured, whether it's just the roads, only mountains or all of Riften. Download Skyrim Textures. More than most other mods, the lighting, post-processing and colour tweaks made by ENBs and Reshade mods are down to personal preference. In OG Skyrim, I was rather partial to RealVision ENB, and it still makes the seven-year-old game look absolutely gorgeous, though it does come at the cost of performance. When the Special Edition first launched, flashy post-processing options were limited while we waited for ENB to be updated. ELFX wants to make Skyrim pretty, not just realistically lit. Both mods are great, so it really depends on what kind of atmosphere you want to generate. You could always mix and match, and even throw in an ENB for good measure. Since Skyrim is full of forests, Skyrim Flora Overhaul has a pretty dramatic effect. It includes lots of new, high-quality tree models, even more grasses and plants, and loads of visual tweaks that generally make forests look deeper and more imposing. There are so many tiny touches that make this mod brilliant, like curated sound effects and animated icebergs. The Special Edition introduced a new water flow system, which is nice and all, but it was applied to all bodies of water indiscriminately, which made less sense. Realistic Water also fixes that. Download Better Roads or the Special Edition version. Download Climates of Tamriel or the Special Edition version. Interesting NPCs is packed with new characters scattered all over Skyrim, each with their own background, schedule and branching dialogue. With these tweaks, NPCs respond in more realistic and diverse ways to things like weather, attacks and their day-to-day schedules, depending on who they are. Most important is the survival instinct feature, letting NPCs evaluate threats and act accordingly. Download Immersive Citizens or the Special Edition version. This throws in everything from warring goblin tribes to considerably more exotic and indescribable nightmares. The world a bit more deadly. Download Immersive Creatures or the Special Edition version. It creates patrols for not just the factions of the civil war, the Stormcloaks and Imperials, but also the Dawnguard and Thalmor. There are even some raider patrols, too. These warbands clash in specific areas, with forts and territory changing hands depending on the outcome of the battle. Download Immersive Patrols or the Special Edition version. Ever wanted to traipse around Skyrim with your very own supernatural band? Amazing Follower Tweaks is an extremely helpful follower management tool that lets you have multiple followers, organise their equipment and give them orders, but the best bit is being able to turn them into vampires and werewolves. Speaking of deadly, magical monsters with a thirst for blood and flesh, this mod makes NPCs run away when one of them attacks. Dragons and vampires will scare off NPCs, making them run to their home or the nearest inn until the area is safe again. Not with Convenient Horses, however. Download Convenient Horses or the Special Edition version. Relationship Dialogue Overhaul makes Skyrim a chattier place. NPCs get a whopping 5, lines of new, reactive dialogue, all voiced. NPCs react more realistically, letting you know what they think of you, while followers will take into account their relationship with you. Simply Better Movement Speed tweaks how fast you move while walking, running and sneaking. Walking speed has been significantly boosted, while running is slower. The pace feels more natural, making it necessary to get a horse for long journeys, but making wandering around towns and villages much quicker. It also makes players the same speed as NPCs, so following people around is no longer a chore where you have to make constant adjustments. Getting lycanthropy is a great way to shake things up, but as much fun as it is to stomp around Skyrim as a massive wolf, the system is pretty underdeveloped. Moonlight Tales, then, is essential if you plan on tearing people apart during a full moon. It completely overhauls werewolves, replacing the perk tree, introducing new abilities, forcing lunar transformations and, best of all, letting you become a werebear. Download Moonlight Tales or the Special Edition version. There is a seemingly endless supply of user-created weapons on the Skyrim Nexus, but Immersive Weapons should always be at the top of your list. The benefit of using this instead of adding all your weapons piecemeal is that these weapons have been designed to co-exist, keeping balance and lore in mind. Unlike lightsabers. Download Immersive Weapons or the Special Edition version. Like the weapon mod, it introduces hundreds of new pieces of lore-appropriate armour and shields, allowing you to finally live out your dream of wearing a saber-toothed cat on your head. There are some nifty accessories, too, including eye patches and scarves. Download Immersive Armors or the Special Edition version. It adds new item slots to your body and then provides a vast number of pouches, bags and bandoliers that you can strap onto yourself. Download Bandoliers or the Special Edition version. It summons a bounty of cloaks into the world, nearly styles in all, ranging from faction-specific clobber to tattered, monstrous garments that only a Daedra would wear. NPCs will wear them, too, and they actually make guards look more authoritative. A nice cloak commands respect. Download Cloaks of Skyrim or the Special Edition version. Only mugs hold their own lanterns. You can attach the lantern to your belt, or you can just give it to one of your followers; they can hold or wear it for you. Even handier! Honestly, is there any need for the sun now that we've got this sorted? Download Wearable Lanterns or the Special Edition version. Download Deadly Cabbages or the Special Edition version. You can expand your arcane arsenal with blood magic, druidic spells and all sorts of new stuff that can then be combined to create even more powerful results. Cast some lightning magic on someone you just soaked with water magic, for instance, and you're going to do a bit more harm. You can even clone enemies, turn them into chickens or break the laws of time and space. Apocalypse has fewer spells, but boy are they fun. And flashy! You can summon tornadoes and volcanoes, rip ghosts out of corpses and send them towards enemies or trap people in mystical prisons. The handiest, however, are often the more mundane spells, like being able to find gold veins or conjuring up spectral bridges that transport you across large gaps. OK, that's not mundane at all. The mod neatly slots into the game and feels like a natural extension of the existing magic system, but a lot more creative. There are some differences between the versions, but both improve combat AI and introduce attacks of opportunity and timed blocking. Generally, combat is faster and more deadly, with weapons dealing more damage. VioLens lets you customise your killmoves, both melee and ranged, letting you decide how often they appear and what move each weapon triggers. If you want to give your fights some extra cinematic flair, this is a good way to go about it. Swap out the boring vanilla idle weapon animations for something a bit fancier. Pretty Combat Animations lets you pick from full animation sets that change what your character looks like when they run, walk and sneak while armed or unarmed, if you're just using your fists. You'll look dangerous even when you're just standing around. There are maybe a few too many trees, though I am a fan of the overgrown look. The should still work with Special Edition anyway, but there might be some unforeseen issues. Download Towns and Villages Enhanced. They're not quite the dramatic visual overhaul that Towns and Villages Enhanced is, but together these two mods replace the vanilla textures with high-quality versions and add new bits and pieces. The textures are much improved, but they otherwise maintain the original aesthetic, while the towns that have been expanded so far Darkwater Crossing, Dawnstar and Riverwood are familiar but busier. Skyrim hides all of its cities behind gates and loading screens; Open Cities Skyrim smashes them down. This beefy mod moves the cities into the main Skyrim map, rather than the pocket dimension in which they existed, so you can seamlessly move between city and wilderness. Poor Helgen. It only got a few minutes of screentime before it got roasted, along with most of its inhabitants. Helgen Reborn, then, is a lovely mod that gives the town a second life. Download Helgen Reborn or the Special Edition version. Similar to Helgen Reborn, this mod revitalises the gloomy town of Winterhold as you work through a quest. Those merchants, I should add, are very wealthy, so it's a great place to offload your inventory. Everyone wins! Download Winterhold Rebuilt or the Special Edition version. Alternate Start is the best way to start a new game of Skyrim. Falskaar is a total conversion mod created by Alexander Velicky to prove to Bethesda he could make something that rivalled their DLC, but with a fraction of their resources. Adding approximately 20 hours to the base game, Falskaar is an impressive mod that adds a whole new land independent of Tamriel, accessible by portal and later by boat. It boasts new items and shouts, and adds 26 new quests - which includes nine main story ventures and 17 side quests. Download Falskaar or the Special Edition version. Think Poirot, but with magic and ethical conundrums. It feels like a professional production that just happens to also be a mod for Skyrim. A standalone game based on the mod is also in the works. Sick of chilly Skyrim? Hop on a wagon and take a trip to distant Elsweyr, the home of the fluffy Khajiit. The rainforest and desert makes a nice change of scene, and the Khajiit are far more interesting than the moody Nords. As well as a change in setting, there are plenty of entertaining quests, NPCs and, above all else, an airship of your very own. Moonpath to Elsweyr is almost as old as Skyrim and was a bit creaky as a result, but it started getting updated again last year. With a main storyline alone that amounts to 30 hours of questing, Enderal is a titanic mod set in an entirely new land made up of tropical costs, frosty mountains and dense forests. There are countless new assets, running the gamut from photo-scanned rocks to new monsters. And a great one, to boot. Total Character Makeover takes the best appearances from Skyrim Nexus, spruces them up even more and collects them in one convenient package. Worried your greasy hair is holding you back? Keep finding twigs in your mane right after a job interview? The mod offers up a ridiculous number of new styles. Download Apachii's Skyhair or the Special Edition version. It turns each perk tree into a cohesive class, though of course the perks are still all designed to be mixed and matched. Take Alchemy, for instance. The vanilla tree just gives you some resistances and lets you make more powerful potions. The Ordinator version, however, transforms you into a mad scientist, dripping horrible pools of magical and explosive oil and figuring out new ways to hurt people with poisons. Building your own unique class is infinitely more rewarding with all these exotic perks. There are search fields, you can make lists of favourites and everything is displayed clearly. It cuts out so much mucking around. It also includes the Mod Configuration Menu, an extremely handy tool that makes it easy to customise mods. A Quality World Map - With Roads is considerably more detailed, clear and, importantly, shows you where all the roads are. Frostfall turns Skyrim into a survival game. Trekking through Winterhold wearing the wrong gear or taking a dip in an ice water lake can prove fatal — be sure to wrap up. Download Frostfall or the Special Edition version. Campfire takes the camping system from Frostfall and spins it into an even more developed standalone mod. You can craft camping gear, make roaring hearths that give you bonuses and even become a tracker. Nobody really needs to eat in Skyrim, which explains the abundance of food. Imagine how miserable all the chefs must be, preparing food that nobody is remotely interested in. The best they can hope for is that an adventurer will scoff some as a last resort. Realistic Needs and Diseases returns food to its lofty status. Drinking is similarly necessary. There are other negative effects before death, but also lots of positive ones for eating well. It mostly adds visual effects that complement the foul weather, but it also changes NPC behaviours. During bad weather, NPCs will have different reactions depending on their race, age and job. Download Wet and Cold or the Special Edition version. Lonely Mountains: Downhill goes murderously fast but appreciates stopping for a good view. What's better: Cameras which actually take pictures, or running into a wall so fast you hurt yourself? This visual novel takes you on a lovely little cycling tour. There's also undoubtedly many, many great mods that we've not included. If you think your favourite Skyrim mod is an essential install, then take to the comments and make your case. What I like to do is create a new, unmodified game, get somewhere like Riverwood and then create a save that I can use for testing. We've only picked the very best Skyrim mods, but there are so many available that we've had to break them down by category. You can hop directly to the kind of mod you want via the links below. There are several good ones, but Nexus Mod Manager is your best bet. Download Nexus Mod Manager. Before you test anything in-game, run LOOT. It takes seconds. You can launch it directly from the. Download Achievements Mods Enabler. Basically, it spruces up a huge pile of 3D models, making all of Skyrim look nicer in hundreds of tiny ways. Skyrim HD is a long-running texture mod that replaces over textures. Everything from the sky and mountains to the interiors of ramshackle hovels has been done up. Optionally, you can download just the cities, landscapes, dungeons or miscelleanous packs. This is specifically for old Skyrim, but there are plenty of great alternatives for the Special Edition. Another huge, broad texture mod, this time specifically for the Special Edition. The latest version of the mod only comes with one complete file, but the version is more modular. You can pick what you want retextured, whether it's just the roads, only mountains or all of Riften. Download Skyrim Textures. More than most other mods, the lighting, post-processing and colour tweaks made by ENBs and Reshade mods are down to personal preference. In OG Skyrim, I was rather partial to RealVision ENB, and it still makes the seven-year-old game look absolutely gorgeous, though it does come at the cost of performance. When the Special Edition first launched, flashy post-processing options were limited while we waited for ENB to be updated. ELFX wants to make Skyrim pretty, not just realistically lit. Both mods are great, so it really depends on what kind of atmosphere you want to generate. You could always mix and match, and even throw in an ENB for good measure. Since Skyrim is full of forests, Skyrim Flora Overhaul has a pretty dramatic effect. It includes lots of new, high-quality tree models, even more grasses and plants, and loads of visual tweaks that generally make forests look deeper and more imposing. There are so many tiny touches that make this mod brilliant, like curated sound effects and animated icebergs. The Special Edition introduced a new water flow system, which is nice and all, but it was applied to all bodies of water indiscriminately, which made less sense. Realistic Water also fixes that. Download Better Roads or the Special Edition version. Download Climates of Tamriel or the Special Edition version. Interesting NPCs is packed with new characters scattered all over Skyrim, each with their own background, schedule and branching dialogue. With these tweaks, NPCs respond in more realistic and diverse ways to things like weather, attacks and their day-to-day schedules, depending on who they are. Most important is the survival instinct feature, letting NPCs evaluate threats and act accordingly. Download Immersive Citizens or the Special Edition version. This throws in everything from warring goblin tribes to considerably more exotic and indescribable nightmares. The world a bit more deadly. Download Immersive Creatures or the Special Edition version. It creates patrols for not just the factions of the civil war, the Stormcloaks and Imperials, but also the Dawnguard and Thalmor. There are even some raider patrols, too. These warbands clash in specific areas, with forts and territory changing hands depending on the outcome of the battle. Download Immersive Patrols or the Special Edition version. Ever wanted to traipse around Skyrim with your very own supernatural band? Amazing Follower Tweaks is an extremely helpful follower management tool that lets you have multiple followers, organise their equipment and give them orders, but the best bit is being able to turn them into vampires and werewolves. Speaking of deadly, magical monsters with a thirst for blood and flesh, this mod makes NPCs run away when one of them attacks. Dragons and vampires will scare off NPCs, making them run to their home or the nearest inn until the area is safe again. Not with Convenient Horses, however. Download Convenient Horses or the Special Edition version. Relationship Dialogue Overhaul makes Skyrim a chattier place. NPCs get a whopping 5, lines of new, reactive dialogue, all voiced. NPCs react more realistically, letting you know what they think of you, while followers will take into account their relationship with you. Simply Better Movement Speed tweaks how fast you move while walking, running and sneaking. Walking speed has been significantly boosted, while running is slower. The pace feels more natural, making it necessary to get a horse for long journeys, but making wandering around towns and villages much quicker. It also makes players the same speed as NPCs, so following people around is no longer a chore where you have to make constant adjustments. Getting lycanthropy is a great way to shake things up, but as much fun as it is to stomp around Skyrim as a massive wolf, the system is pretty underdeveloped. Moonlight Tales, then, is essential if you plan on tearing people apart during a full moon. It completely overhauls werewolves, replacing the perk tree, introducing new abilities, forcing lunar transformations and, best of all, letting you become a werebear. Download Moonlight Tales or the Special Edition version. There is a seemingly endless supply of user-created weapons on the Skyrim Nexus, but Immersive Weapons should always be at the top of your list. The benefit of using this instead of adding all your weapons piecemeal is that these weapons have been designed to co-exist, keeping balance and lore in mind. Unlike lightsabers. Download Immersive Weapons or the Special Edition version. Like the weapon mod, it introduces hundreds of new pieces of lore-appropriate armour and shields, allowing you to finally live out your dream of wearing a saber-toothed cat on your head. There are some nifty accessories, too, including eye patches and scarves. Download Immersive Armors or the Special Edition version. It adds new item slots to your body and then provides a vast number of pouches, bags and bandoliers that you can strap onto yourself. Download Bandoliers or the Special Edition version. It summons a bounty of cloaks into the world, nearly styles in all, ranging from faction-specific clobber to tattered, monstrous garments that only a Daedra would wear. NPCs will wear them, too, and they actually make guards look more authoritative. A nice cloak commands respect. Download Cloaks of Skyrim or the Special Edition version. Only mugs hold their own lanterns. You can attach the lantern to your belt, or you can just give it to one of your followers; they can hold or wear it for you. Even handier! Honestly, is there any need for the sun now that we've got this sorted? Download Wearable Lanterns or the Special Edition version. Download Deadly Cabbages or the Special Edition version. You can expand your arcane arsenal with blood magic, druidic spells and all sorts of new stuff that can then be combined to create even more powerful results. Cast some lightning magic on someone you just soaked with water magic, for instance, and you're going to do a bit more harm. You can even clone enemies, turn them into chickens or break the laws of time and space. Apocalypse has fewer spells, but boy are they fun. And flashy! You can summon tornadoes and volcanoes, rip ghosts out of corpses and send them towards enemies or trap people in mystical prisons. The handiest, however, are often the more mundane spells, like being able to find gold veins or conjuring up spectral bridges that transport you across large gaps. OK, that's not mundane at all. The mod neatly slots into the game and feels like a natural extension of the existing magic system, but a lot more creative. There are some differences between the versions, but both improve combat AI and introduce attacks of opportunity and timed blocking. Generally, combat is faster and more deadly, with weapons dealing more damage. VioLens lets you customise your killmoves, both melee and ranged, letting you decide how often they appear and what move each weapon triggers. If you want to give your fights some extra cinematic flair, this is a good way to go about it. Swap out the boring vanilla idle weapon animations for something a bit fancier. Pretty Combat Animations lets you pick from full animation sets that change what your character looks like when they run, walk and sneak while armed or unarmed, if you're just using your fists. You'll look dangerous even when you're just standing around. There are maybe a few too many trees, though I am a fan of the overgrown look. The should still work with Special Edition anyway, but there might be some unforeseen issues. Download Towns and Villages Enhanced. They're not quite the dramatic visual overhaul that Towns and Villages Enhanced is, but together these two mods replace the vanilla textures with high-quality versions and add new bits and pieces. The textures are much improved, but they otherwise maintain the original aesthetic, while the towns that have been expanded so far Darkwater Crossing, Dawnstar and Riverwood are familiar but busier. Skyrim hides all of its cities behind gates and loading screens; Open Cities Skyrim smashes them down. This beefy mod moves the cities into the main Skyrim map, rather than the pocket dimension in which they existed, so you can seamlessly move between city and wilderness. Poor Helgen. It only got a few minutes of screentime before it got roasted, along with most of its inhabitants. Helgen Reborn, then, is a lovely mod that gives the town a second life. Download Helgen Reborn or the Special Edition version. Similar to Helgen Reborn, this mod revitalises the gloomy town of Winterhold as you work through a quest. Those merchants, I should add, are very wealthy, so it's a great place to offload your inventory. Everyone wins! Download Winterhold Rebuilt or the Special Edition version. Alternate Start is the best way to start a new game of Skyrim. Falskaar is a total conversion mod created by Alexander Velicky to prove to Bethesda he could make something that rivalled their DLC, but with a fraction of their resources. Adding approximately 20 hours to the base game, Falskaar is an impressive mod that adds a whole new land independent of Tamriel, accessible by portal and later by boat. It boasts new items and shouts, and adds 26 new quests - which includes nine main story ventures and 17 side quests. Download Falskaar or the Special Edition version. Think Poirot, but with magic and ethical conundrums. It feels like a professional production that just happens to also be a mod for Skyrim. A standalone game based on the mod is also in the works. Sick of chilly Skyrim? Hop on a wagon and take a trip to distant Elsweyr, the home of the fluffy Khajiit. The rainforest and desert makes a nice change of scene, and the Khajiit are far more interesting than the moody Nords. As well as a change in setting, there are plenty of entertaining quests, NPCs and, above all else, an airship of your very own. Moonpath to Elsweyr is almost as old as Skyrim and was a bit creaky as a result, but it started getting updated again last year. With a main storyline alone that amounts to 30 hours of questing, Enderal is a titanic mod set in an entirely new land made up of tropical costs, frosty mountains and dense forests. There are countless new assets, running the gamut from photo-scanned rocks to new monsters. And a great one, to boot. Total Character Makeover takes the best appearances from Skyrim Nexus, spruces them up even more and collects them in one convenient package. Worried your greasy hair is holding you back? Keep finding twigs in your mane right after a job interview? The mod offers up a ridiculous number of new styles. Download Apachii's Skyhair or the Special Edition version. It turns each perk tree into a cohesive class, though of course the perks are still all designed to be mixed and matched. Take Alchemy, for instance. The vanilla tree just gives you some resistances and lets you make more powerful potions. The Ordinator version, however, transforms you into a mad scientist, dripping horrible pools of magical and explosive oil and figuring out new ways to hurt people with poisons. Building your own unique class is infinitely more rewarding with all these exotic perks. There are search fields, you can make lists of favourites and everything is displayed clearly. It cuts out so much mucking around. It also includes the Mod Configuration Menu, an extremely handy tool that makes it easy to customise mods. A Quality World Map - With Roads is considerably more detailed, clear and, importantly, shows you where all the roads are. Frostfall turns Skyrim into a survival game. Trekking through Winterhold wearing the wrong gear or taking a dip in an ice water lake can prove fatal — be sure to wrap up. Download Frostfall or the Special Edition version. Campfire takes the camping system from Frostfall and spins it into an even more developed standalone mod. You can craft camping gear, make roaring hearths that give you bonuses and even become a tracker. Nobody really needs to eat in Skyrim, which explains the abundance of food. Imagine how miserable all the chefs must be, preparing food that nobody is remotely interested in. The best they can hope for is that an adventurer will scoff some as a last resort. Realistic Needs and Diseases returns food to its lofty status. Drinking is similarly necessary. There are other negative effects before death, but also lots of positive ones for eating well. It mostly adds visual effects that complement the foul weather, but it also changes NPC behaviours. During bad weather, NPCs will have different reactions depending on their race, age and job. Download Wet and Cold or the Special Edition version. Lonely Mountains: Downhill goes murderously fast but appreciates stopping for a good view. What's better: Cameras which actually take pictures, or running into a wall so fast you hurt yourself? This visual novel takes you on a lovely little cycling tour. i love making gifs, but tumblr hates uploading them! the fact that the serenessa gifset actually uploaded is so wild (i was literally messaging @blairwaldorfisgay like “i made a really fun serenessa gifset! if tumblr co-operates you MIGHT see it in the next 40 years!” when it posted so it sure was a moment, lmao.)

i also currently have, uhhh, limited clips of things? so while i CAN make most of the gifs i want to make, there’s some stuff i am figuring out HOW to access. this is specifically relevant for milo gifs - i’m SURE you all knew that was going to happen, probably. but i’m letting you know it’ll take a solid amount of time! 

anyway because i’m me i’ll probably make occassional derena edits, dair edits with lyrics that are not taylor swift (nothing against swifties - y’all are keeping the fandom afloat - it’s just, there’s tons of that content already so i don’t feel like i NEED to make it, y’know) alongside MANY MANY MANY miscelleaneous gay edits or rarepairs or just meme gifs. i hope to make lots of jenny and eric content, as well, “minions” aesthetics, etc etc, and i am so so so excited for this all.

Anger HC.

In a nutshell.

She just doesn't exhibit such a specific emotion, finds no reliance of it. No anger, no temper tantrums, no real frustration. Suffice to say, Hinamori is the least likely of all individuals to come off as angry, no matter what is dished her way.

Bitter is the most apt description.

Perception.

Her views towards anger as a whole when it comes from other people, is partially seen as a defense mechanism and something situational. She does not require or feel appealed to get angry. Firm?, expressing a serious beneath her coolheadedness?, yes to these but never it is genuine anger. You're never going to get it out of her, lest children are involved/threatened.

In this one instance, she will not stand idly by and will defuse the situation but will never raise her voice all the same. Needless to say, she is able to be firm, able to scold others but never one to cross the line; anger.

How she, herself, utilize 'anger'.

Gently but not naive in its reliance.

Hinamori is well aware that life is hard, unfair, it is capable of unfathomable cruelties but it is why she, herself, will not adhere to this side of reality.

Many times is she perceived as a beacon of light, a relentless lighthouse amidst all kind of storms, etc. And it just shows time after time. She is a woman of solace, even in her fighting prowess it shows. She is a Healer, a Protector, just think of it akin to that healer meme.

Anger is not impossible but she does not treat it as such where someone else might. Disappointment?, bitterness, concern?, yes to these.

Her, 'going ham' (as to be read in a specific thread), is not her being angry. If anything it falls into being disappointed, into a dislike of hearing people belittle themselves.

Now lack of self confidence and belittle oneself, are two different things.

She is not going to call you out for being shy & awkward because thats a road Hina is much familiar with. But treating yourself like a tool, like garbage, right in front of her?. Well she is obviously going to say something to that.

Really, at most, all that is going to happen is her putting on a serious face, should she need to but even then, its effortlessly hidden beneath her calm demeanor, in her words.

'Anger' is both a possibility but also not.

Miscelleaneous.

The only real time where she may have reached the edge of anger, was in a time of loss- loss of control with her Vision.

Although, given it was not her in control, it was not a self willing anger moment so she does not see it count & would much rather not have to think back on what really occured that day.

Even if that kind of day, were to pass again, she has better control of her Vision, of herself as a whole.

HC - Harnessing/Using Electro.

Taroumaru himself.

One of the thing to understand is not viewing him as a mascot of the Yashiro Commission and the Komore Teahouse. He is first a friend, second; the teahouse manager and third, a canine warrior who can utilize Electro and fight with a sword. He may have retired but that not make him rusty or keep Taroumaru to stop enjoying life, the thrill of a fight even.

Retirement.

He doesn't just sit in the Teahouse all day, come morning, he actually go off in a morning jog, to keep in shape and it would be no secret of seeing him join fighting events, like he has done a few times.

He and his human partner may have retired but it doesn't keep them from enjoying the little things in life. Due to that, seeing him outside, out and about, is not uncommon.

Capabilities.

Taroumaru is a capable ninja dog, holding many tricks in his paws, topped with the ability to manipulate Electro and is just as devastating in a swordfight. Many great warriors has been felled by him, wheter in time of missions or friendly sparring.

Yes, he could easily defend the Teahouse because of that but Electro is volatile and he knows better than cause property damages to the very place he watch over.

His fur is capable of storing Electro particles to use attacks of said element in a fight and in the past, he would oft electrocute people whom dared grab him. While they were mostly accidental, one should be careful while holding Taroumaru up.

Although, these days, what he wears help prevent this turn of event, from happening.

Worn apparels.

Both his default attire and fighting armor are made of material able to store Electro, in place of his fur, to keep him from electroshocking others, no matter who they are. At most, one will get startled by a static shock feeling upon touching Taroumaru's fur.

What he wears also harden and does not tear easily because of all the Electro getting condensed, in his headband mostly. If it were to get torn, all the accumulated energy would just burst out and cause unprecendented damages so its better to be smart and avoid tearing his apparels, even in a spar.

He may be small but the people themselves knows to be cautious. Taroumaru is much more deceitful than he looks on the surface.

Miscelleaneous detail.

All dogs are given a partner and trained to control one Element & they get to choose which one.

For Taroumaru, he has decided to go with Electro because how much Inazuma, in its entirety, is surrounded by water, which makes it the perfect element to use when out on the field.

The area where the dogs are trained, is still active to this day and should the chance arise, he will go there and train other dogs, pit himself against them to see how are things.
