LOVE, SIMON 2018
You are still you, Simon. You are still the same son who I love to tease and who your father depends on for just about everything. And you're the same brother who always complements his sister on her food, even when it sucks. You get to exhale now, Simon. You get to be more you than you have been in... in a very long time. You deserve everything you want.

“you are a good nurse” (knives out and great men)
***(this is extremely spoilery for both knives out and glass onion. read with caution)***
In quarantine, in a smaller apartment than you might expect, Benoit Blanc is playing Among Us. This is a game—like Clue—which the celebrity detective hates. It’s too simple, too obvious, and too easy to resolve. Although he holds himself to be better than these “stupid things,” they are also a weakness—later, we will be told that he nearly failed to solve a case because it was too simple all along. For now, the gentleman sleuth is doing poorly in isolation, suffering from an all-consuming boredom which descends between cases (a trait he shares with his literary antecedents in Hercule Poirot and Sherlock Holmes). This is, all in all, a tremendous reintroduction to Blanc, the detective who, in 2019’s Knives Out, solved the murder of James PattersoHarlan Thrombey and who—in 2022’s Glass Onion—will attend a murder-mystery themed weekend getaway of the innermost circle of tech billionaire Elon MusMiles Bron. Blanc shares DNA with the classic sleuths—but he is both more and less of a hero than they were. Much of that has to do with the communities he finds himself in. Murder mysteries have always run on high-energy casts of colorful characters—most especially in the works of Agatha Christie, whose Mousetrap, Murder on the Orient Express, and And Then There Were None feel like important steps on the road to Knives Out. Working with big tropes and cliches makes sense in a genre which is, in many ways, about developing and subverting reader expectations, and the two Knives Out films certainly build on that mold, establishing a set of stock characters drawn from the here and the now. Whether we’re dealing with a wealthy college student who sets her political beliefs aside to bow to the demands of her family (Katherine Langford as Meg Thrombey, Knives Out) or an internet micro-influencer about to explode into the mainstream screaming about the downfall of western masculinity (Dave Bautista as Duke Cody, Glass Onion), the supporting casts of both Benoit Blanc murder-flicks are fresh tropes for a fresh culture. They’re also—critically—all drawn from a particular world. Children of wealthy families, publishing executives, influencers, lifestyle models—these are people given a huge privilege, not only in the quality of their lifestyles but in the degree of their control over the direction of their lives. Although Knives Out and Glass Onion both  depict circles dependent on the charity of individual, powerful men—Harlan Thrombey and Miles Bron, respectively—they are also circles made up of people who society grants decision-making power, imbuing them with the belief that they are the protagonists of life granted the god-given right to personhood in contrast to those in sidelined roles—the help, medical staff, and “Derol.” The heroes of both films, however, are the odd ones out. They are neither the suspects (the colorful ensembles of those who “could have done it”) nor the celebrity sleuth himself (on whom everyone depends to solve the mystery and straighten things out), but rather those who are pushed to the side—assumed to be objects, not actors. Marta and Helen are the Watsons of both movies—the characters through whom we view the story, whose experiences frame and color our own (Helen takes on this role predominantly in the second half of the movie, once her true identity has been revealed to the audience). Unlike Holmes’s Watson or Poirot’s Arthur Hastings, however, these two characters are not neutral “straight characters” but individuals who suffer an active isolation, people who—however “normal” they might be in comparison to the cast—are marginalized and assumed to occupy a passive space. This positioning impacts their perspective, skewing things for viewers, reminding us that there is no apolitical way to view these events—and not to normalize the antics of the elite. In both cases—as Marta is Harlan’s long-term nurse and Helen is dedicated to seeking justice for her sister—they are presumed to, and in many cases do, act without ego, functioning solely as objects and in the ecosystem which surrounds the powerful decision makers (Harlan Thrombey and Miles Bron) and support systems on which the protagonists of life can lean. Although the films work to counteract this assumption—reminding us of the fundamental personhood of both Helen and Marta—it is also partially through their dedication to serving others that both Helen and Marta succeed. Blanc puts this clearly in Knives Out when he reveals that he knew Marta was involved in the murder from the start: “I want you to remember something very important:” he says “You won not by playing the game Harlan's way, but yours.” The heroes of these films do not succeed by using their invisible status to their advantage in playing “the game Harlan’s way,” getting one up on everybody by being the cleverest person in the room. Rather, they succeed by staying true to their values and doing what they know is right—even if that means sacrificing themself to the cause of another because it is right. For Marta this is attempting to save Fran—for Helen it is running out of clever ways to seek justice for her sister, and setting fire to theb building instead. By working against their own self-interest in the “game” or “puzzle” of a murder mystery, both Helen and Marta defeat their antagonists. In Knives Out, the Thrombey family spends much of their time bickering over who really deserves to inherit Harlan’s legacy—and the film is clear that none of them can truly claim to have built success themselves, as each was granted the privilege and security of their family’s wealth. None are truly as independent—we might say, “protagonal” —as they believe. Glass Onion takes this a step further, attacking the “source” of the cycle of  wealth. While Harlan Thrombey seems to have been a generally good man, a skilled storyteller, and a strong judge of character—it was his decision to reward Marta, and not his kin, with the inheritance—Glass Onion’s counterpart in Miles Bron is explicitly framed as lacking substance (being a “Glass Onion,” which appears deep but is in fact easy to see through) and having simply been in the right place in the right time to steal someone else’s work. There is no “self-made man” or “good billionaire” in Glass Onion—only people who were lucky enough to be given the opportunity to step on someone else on their way up the ladder. This developed critique of “great men” plays directly into the events of Glass Onion’s climax. Unlike Knives Out, where the police are presented as broadly interested in justice and glad to work alongside Blanc although their investigation has already ended, Glass Onion demonstrates explicitly how systems of power—the courts and the police, but also social dynamics and community pressures—can be bent to the defense of those assumed to be powerful decision makers (like Miles Bron or Ransom Thrombey). There were allusions to this in Knives—where Ransom claims that Benoit solving the murder means nothing, since he has good lawyers and will avoid a significant sentence—but they are eventually unsubstantial, as Marta tricks Ransom into confessing in front of two officers and he is arrested as a result. When, in Glass Onion, when the only evidence to Bron’s crime is burned, Blanc himself seems to surrender, claiming that “This is where my jurisdiction ends” before leaving the room (though not before handing Helen the physical and emotional material she needs to literally burn Miles Bron’s island home to the ground). Although Helen eventually manages to set fire to the Mona Lisa—defeating Bron by ruining his public image, not through criminal prosecution—this does not seem to be her intention when she begins destroying the mansion. In this, Glass Onion seems to develop a second critique of Knives Out—not only do we come to question the validity of the narrative of “good” billionaires, we are shown that, faced with hostile powers insulating  themselves within systems of law and order, the only path to justice may be working outside the law and our basic (i.e. carceral) assumptions of what “justice” is. As the emergency  services arrive to pick up a body, Benoit sits on the beach, smoking a cigar. His hands are clean, and he has inspired Helen to the heroic action that she must take. He is as smart as any Holmes, but he did not do his part in this adventure in the way Holmes would, by playing the game, solving the puzzle, and handing things over to the police. Rather, Benoit has himself taken on a supportive role—supportive to Helen, who has, in turn, taken action and found justice for her sister. He understands the limits of his jurisdiction—in other words, he knows when it is actually his turn to be the protagonist, and when it is his role to inspire others. In a world full of people who claim to have risen to power by their skill and focus, Blanc actually has remarkable skill—but he uses them, ultimately, to ends of uplifting the meek, not simply restoration of order.

Returning characters:
Tumblr media
Jemma Redgrave as Kate Stewart, head of UNIT.
Tumblr media
Bonnie Langford as former companion Mel Bush.
Villains:
Tumblr media
Jinkx Monsoon as a villain favouring piano-themed attire, described as "the Doctor's most powerful enemy yet". Not everyone survives the encounter...
Tumblr media
Indira Varma as the Duchess. RTD: "a whole new audience will be hiding behind the settee when the Duchess unleashes her terror." Varma previously played Suzie Costello on 2 episodes of Torchwood.
Other characters:
Tumblr media
Aneurin Barnard as Roger ap Gwilliam.
Jonathan Groff as a "mysterious key" character.
Tumblr media
Lenny Rush as Morris, in time for the Doctor's "greatest nightmare". RTD: "But what secrets does he hold? What's secreted in the Segway?! And will his terrifying probabilities be proved true..?"
Jack Forsyth-Noble as Will.
Gemma Arrowsmith and Mary Malone will appear in the Christmas special, while Majid Mehdizadeh-Valoujerdy and Billy Brayshaw will appear in separate episodes.
Tumblr media
Also announced to be appearing: Sophie Ablett, Anita Dobson, Michelle Greenidge, Bhav Joshi, Millie Kent, Eilidh Loan, Pete MacHale, Miles Yekinni, Hemi Yeroham. Dobson previously appeared in the audio play "Blood of the Daleks".
EPISODES
There will be a Christmas special in December 2023, followed by an eight-episode season. (The BBC posted that the season would air in spring, but then removed the information.) Russell T Davies is the showrunner.
A guest star from 2005 returned for the special.
Episode 1's title was coincidentally spoken aloud in a third-season episode of Star Trek: Picard. It includes the words roar, Glastonbury, and conquistador.
Episode 2 contains the words Liverpool, legions, and non-diegetic. Scene 10 begins "INT. CANTEEN. DAY."
RTD thinks episode 4 is one of the best things he's ever written. The line "I once went to the top of the Shard" was cut from it.
The script for episode 7 begins with the line "INT. COFFEE BAR, USA — DAY, 1947".
Episode 8 will contain the words kingdom, gold, and Tigella. Scene 73, featuring the Doctor and Ruby in the TARDIS while "enemies are being fought", was the last scene filmed for the season.
Tumblr media
There's a 1960s episode, featuring the Doctor and Ruby in snazzy period outfits.
Tumblr media
The episode guest-starring both Varma and Groff will be set in the Regency era. "Dress to impress, and beware the Duchess."
CREATOR RAMBLINGS
According to RTD, we will be "staggered" by the 2023 festive season surprises.
There are monsters which are "impossible to describe" without referencing Fourth and Seventh Doctor adventures.
RTD promises that there are "plans still unfurling" which have yet to be made public.
Production designer Philip Sims said he was excited about "designing a new Dalek".
Davies has hinted that the blue doors Michelle Greenidge and Anita Dobson were photographed with are significant.
Script editor Scott Handcock mentioned filming which required nine babies, as well as Ncuti and Millie.
Monsoon's first day on set "teams her with an unexpected name from the Tom Baker era".
Anita Dobson has said she's playing Ruby's neighbour, whose name is either Mrs. Flood or Blood.
RTD used a potato emoji while commenting on publicity photos from the Regency episode (Sontarans?). Davies was also very coy about the identity of Groff's character.
RTD mentioned one episode having gone through three titles with no decision having yet been made. Another episode had "sixpence" in the title for a while, until the coin was cut.
RTD teased a famous guest star appearing in a scene with a giant statue head in the finale.
While writing about the final days of filming, RTD said that "Yasmin Finney wrapped a few days ago".
OTHER
Filming began on December 7, 2022 and wrapped on July 14, 2023.
Block One was directed by Dylan Holmes Williams. Block Two was directed by Mark Tonderai. It included the Christmas special. Block Three was directed by Julie Anne Robinson. It contains "two wildly different episodes, by two different writers". Block Four was directed by Ben Chessell. Block Five was directed by Jamie Donoghue.
Posters of the Doctor and Ruby.
Fifteen will be getting a brand-new sonic screwdriver.
previous
Leaks and sources below the cut!
LEAKS
Michelle Greenidge appears to be playing Ruby Sunday's mother. Since Greenidge and Millie Gibson are different ethnicities, she is presumably an adoptive, foster, or step mother.
Campaign posters for the "Albion Party", with Roger ap Gwilliam as the "Space Saviour", were spotted on location filming.
Jinkx Monsoon is in the '60s episode.
Millie Kent is playing Valerie, and Sophie Ablett is Marti Bridges.
Mel Bush will be appearing in the season finale.
Reports from finale location filming, albeit second-hand, of someone on set saying, "This is where the Daleks come in".
According to his CV, Majid Mehdizadeh-Valoujerdy will be playing Carson in an episode directed by Julie Anne Robinson.
Davina McCall may be the returning 2005 guest star. She will apparently host a genealogy show on which Ruby appears, and will be crushed by a falling Christmas tree.
RUMOURS
UNIT may be getting its own spinoff. (SOURCE)
The DWM production journal has led some fans to theorize Steven Moffat will be returning as a writer.

Doctor Who: RTD Makes Interesting Kate Lethbridge-Stewart Comment
Should we be reading into Doctor Who Showrunner Russell T. Davies's Instagram comment regarding Jemma Redgrave's Kate Lethbridge-Stewart?
Published Sat, 30 Sep 2023 15:38:08 -0500 by Ray Flook
When the BBC, Disney+ & Showrunner Russell T. Davies's David Tennant & Catherine Tate-starring Doctor Who's 60th-anniversary event hits in November, the global community will have a chance to celebrate the long-running sci-fi series. From there, we have a Christmas Special before the new year brings a new series with our Fifteenth Doctor Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson (companion Ruby Sunday) taking charge of the TARDIS. One major player who will be assisting both Doctors in their efforts to keep the world safe is Jemma Redgrave's Kate (Lethbridge-) Stewart. Following in her family's footsteps as the head of UNIT, Stewart was first introduced during Matt Smith's run (S07E04 "The Power of Three") – and is now taking on an epic, "summer action movie"-type role based on the recently-released 60th anniversary trailer. In fact, rumblings have been pretty steady that Davies is considering a "WHO-niverse" spinoff focused on Stewart & UNIT – which may explain why folks like us are reading into Davies's comment on a recent Doctor Who Instagram post spotlighting Redgrave's character.
Tumblr media
After noting that "A new era of Kate Lethbridge-Stewart approaches…" as the caption to the post, Davies responded with, "What? Who told you that? How did you..? Oh damn it " (with three angry emojis). Now, could Davies be making a joke about it being a spoiler considering the news and visuals have been out there for a while? Sure. But he could also be teasing that there's more to the "new era" part, possibly something in the near future? Sure. Let's us know in the comments section below what you think:
Tumblr media
Doctor Who: Jemma Redgrave on Series 14, UNIT Spinoff Rumblings
Thanks to the folks over at Good Morning Britain, Redgrave was able to offer some insight into her involvement in the new series as well as those rumblings of a UNIT spinoff earlier this month. "I have been back in one episode in Series 14, and it was such a wonderful thing to be part of that family. I've never taken it for granted that I will be brought back, but it was absolutely tremendous, and to be part of Russell T. Davies' new vision is so exciting," Redgrave shared regarding her work on the new series. Unfortunately (at least, for now), Stewart and Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor won't be sharing any screen time – but Stewart and Gibson's Ruby Sunday will. "I haven't yet got to work with Ncuti [Gatwa], I worked with Millie [Gibson]," she added. " As for that spinoff talk, Redgrave knows as much as the fans do – but she did get a personal perspective on the speculation. "I don't know anything about a spinoff," Redgrave responded – before also sharing, "Somebody in my book club did message me and say, 'I saw something about you having a series,' and I said, 'I've heard nothing about it and I shall call my agent.'"
youtube
Along with Jemma Redgrave (Kate Lethbridge-Stewart), Aneurin Barnard (Roger ap Gwilliam), and Jack Forsyth-Noble (Will), Doctor Who Magazine #589 also confirmed that Bhav Joshi (Wedding Season), Eilidh Loan (Traces), Pete MacHale (Gangs of London), Miles Yekinni (Slow Horses), and Hemi Yeroham (Mamma Mia!) have joined the cast for the new series. In addition, Jinkx Monsoon (RuPaul's Drag Race) was also confirmed to have joined the cast – followed by Jonathan Groff (Glee, Mindhunter) and Indira Varma (Obsession, Game of Thrones) – as The Duchess – in May 2023. Bonnie Langford was confirmed to be returning as Melanie Bush in June 2023, along with Lenny Rush (Am I Being Unreasonable) as Morris. In early August 2023, we also learned that Gemma Arrowsmith (Gemma Arrowsmith Sketched Out) and Mary Malone (Vera, The Prince) had joined the Christmas Special – while Majid Mehdizadeh-Valoujerdy (Hollyoaks) and Billy Brayshaw (Still So Awkward) had joined the Series 14 cast.

Why Wait Till Tomorrow
Tumblr media
Media The Maze Runner AU
Character: Newt
Couple: Newt x Reader
Rating Cute
Concept: A World Run By Wicked
My black boots seemed to echo through the dark cobblestones streets, the sound of it echoing off rock and steel. The sky that loomed over me was the constant grey, having never once seen anything else.
I kept my breaths steady as I walked making sure not to draw attention to myself.
As much as you can try, you can't be invisible. It's whether or not you get noticed.
I felt my watch vibrate slightly on my wrist. I didn't need to look at it, I knew what it meant. A moment later the sharp sound erupted.
From every lamppost and street sign sat metal speakers they whined and crackled slightly as they always did before the song began.
‘All Hail Wicked.
In Her Beauty.
In Her Times of trial
and success.
All Hail to Wicked
and the spark high above us all
bringing us songs and shade from the sun. All Hail to Wicked
blessed are we to be with her.
All Hail to Wicked
Let her reign forever more.’
I hated the damn song.
It played from these speakers twice a day, more on holidays and events.
Everyone knew it.
Everyone sang it.
The original recording of the song was done so many years ago the original singer was long dead, even if her voice was still hauntingly plaid.
The echo of the song filled the air as everyone sang it in perfect time and perfect tune.
But I suppose they had to, from as early as you could speak you'd be taught it and I'd heard stories of people being whisked away to the isle for daring to ignore the song, there was a tale on the print a year or so ago that told of a man who forgot a line one day, his ankles were broken by the enforcers and this was reported in the print as a good thing, enforcement was praised and the man because a social pariah.
I hurried myself heading down the street past the Langford theatre where the man himself stood. I didn't say a word to him and he said none to me.
Simply moving over to stand with me, walking in line with our boots and words hidden by the loud song.
"Ya ready for this?" Vince asks
"As I'll ever be" I told him "news on Minho?"
"Not a word since last Cresent" he says "gave up y/n. He's dead. Or worse."
"I hope he's dead" I told him as we walked soon enough snuck in an alley I spotted the red mop of hair a shock to his black outfit of jeans and a long button down. We didn't say a word to him and he didn't to us but he joined us.
I picked up the pace knowing we didn't have long, they were on the last verse the further we went more people in black we came across and all of them joined our walk so by the time we reached the corner of new Oxford Street we had a crowd of At least fifty people just as the song was on its last few lines.
"We'll hang back. Wait for the cue" Vince spoke up
"Understood" I nodded
"Make some fireworks y/n" Harriet smirked handing me the large metal hammer from his bag
I took it and headed down Oxford Street as the song ended.
As always there was a moment of silence after the song of everyone thinking, it was meant to be a moment for those lost, those forgotten, but most just froze in fear of what would happen if they didn't. People stood around the little wooden framed shops, mostly women in pastel dresses and men in suits and ties. Frozen. Stopped. As if someone had pressed pause on them. Stood like robots waiting for it to be over.
The speakers hissed in the silence, the slight sound of whirring coming from the many cameras who zoomed and searched each person. I made sure I saw one making unbroken eye contact with its lense.
And in the silence I screamed hearing my voice echo through the streets, in this quiet my voice could likely have been heard for miles.
"Shut Down The Spark!"
And I swung the heavy metal hammer as hard as I could and let it go. It made contact with the glass window of a bakery shop immediately shattering the glass, sending the broken shards tumbling to the floor.
For a moment not a soul moved but everyone looked at me.
One scream erupted from a woman in a yellow dress and soon enough every woman was screaming running to the arms of men who pulled them in to protect them.
But I could feel the vibrations through the cobblestones and second's later I was followed by everyone we had gathered on the walk making any left run, as fast as they could to the underground to get away from us.
Everyone breaking windows, smashing lights, pulling cameras down all while chanting as Loud as possible
'Shut down the spark! Shut down the spark!'
I grabbed a sledgehammer off a young girl near the back and joined of course, heading over to the camera I had made the contact with going as close to it as I physically could meer inches from the lense.
I took my trademark panic purple lipstick from my pocket drawing an X or a kiss on the lens with the lipstick, before backing away blowing the camera a kiss and then smacking it with my sledgehammer so hard it shattered into pieces that scattered across the street.
"Bots!" I heard Harriet yell from the end of the street and indeed there was a crowd of enforcers at the end of the street, everyone formed a line a marched giving them no choice but to do the same leaving us at a standoff
'Shut down the spark! Shut down the spark!" We shouted as loud as possible
And one voice rose from the enforcer's line
"Stop this. Turn yourselves in. You do this willingly, you will not be harmed"
"Screw the bots! Screw the bots! Screw the bots!" Everyone cheered
"This is your last chance, come willingly or face the consequences" he warned
Not a soul moved holding our line strong
"Alright. You had your chance" he says and immediately in his word they began to attack and of course we thought back making sure they didn't get anybody for too long but there was just too many of them.
I felt someone grab my wrist and pulled me through the crowd our the back of our line and I saw it was Vince
"What the hell!"
"y/n go."
"No. I have to stay I-"
"y/n! Go. Lead everyone back"
"You lead them back I'll stay"
"We don't have time to argue!" He yelled as many began running away too "we just lost Minho. I'm not losing you to"
"Fine" I to run many who could get away following me, everyone doing our best to avoid detection, going to the little places we all knew, I made it to the tracks on West Street so I held the door making sure everyone got down into the tunnel. Until I spotted an enforcer on our trial "shit"
"Come quickly!" The last girl urged
"You go. I'll lose him"
"What about you?"
"Don't worry about me." I told her quickly shutting and locking the door, I got his attention and bolted as fast as I could leaving him to chase after me "what have I got myself in for" I sighed as I ran making sure to get onto the track streets were it was harder to run hard for me but worse for him, I knew I couldn't run all the way to the border and everyone would have shut the tunnels off by now.
But luckily I saw parked up on the side of the road still on its track a little blue moped unfortunately it has a rider.
"Hey, weird little question. But could you give me a ride?" I smiled as nicely as I could as I approached.
And the rider turned to see me.
They were as thin as a rake, blue and white lace up canvas shoes with hearts drawn on them, right blue skinny jeans with a withered old grey belt, a long sleeve white shirt with a pastel blue button down over it half unbuttoned, his white Moto jacket over him too and his white open face helmet in hand, he had a freshly cut mess of light blonde hair with brown roots to match his brows and eyes, which to mention were fairly wide as the sound of someone speaking to him his helmet gripped tightly in his skinny fingers as he too looked me up and down noticing my every detail
"Uuuuuhh- h- hi" he stuttered moving his leg over to this side of his bike so he could sit facing me "you uuhh you wanted what sorry?" He asks shaking himself from his head
"I was just wondering if you'd mind giving me a ride home, if it isn't too much trouble" I cooed as innocently as I could attempting to sound as sweet as I could
"Oh uhh no, no not at all" he smiled getting up sitting his helmet on the bike offering his left hand where his watch sat for a moment. I held my breath, better test than any I could do at home I guess. I moved my hand over his own letting his watch scan mine and mine scan his immediately his alerted with a little happy bell and I exhaled in relief checking my own "no trouble at all...y/n" he says having to check it for my name
"Thanks, Uhhh" I said as his hadn't actually come up on mine, I need to fix that
"Newt. It's tricky I know" he smiled clearly scrolling through my file but acting like he wasn't before quickly returning his focus "I don't have an extra helmet I'm afraid but I'll drive carefully I promise" he smiled "where are we going exactly? The address hasn't shown up" He asks pointing to his watch
"Ohh I moved recently,”
“Oh, yeah they take forever to update don’t they”
“Yeah, just to circle nine if you can I need to see someone"
"Circle nine? No problem, I was heading that way anyway" he smiled, climbing back on his bike and offering me the front seat with a tap or two.
So I climbed on immediately noticing an enforcer at the end of the road clearly keeping his eye out for anything unusual I did my best to get comfortable on the little moped and also not look suspicious as Newt for his helmet on and put his arms around me to reach the handles staring it up, electric of course so no engine sound and the moped slowly moved down the track not to inline a small child's roller coaster slowly going down the streets following his on-screen instructions for directions
"So what takes you to circle nine then?" He asks
"Ohh visiting my sister" I lied "you?"
"Aww that's nice, said I'd drop my dad his dinner off while he's at work" he shrugs
"That's kind of you"
"Well I'll be moved out soon might as well do them as many favours as I can while I'm still here" he explained
"Found yourself a place then?"
"No, not yet. Got to find a girl first" he chuckled "got my eye on this lovely little place over in circle two"
"Circle two. Expensive up there"
"There not too bad with my discount" he shrugs and soon enough we arrived at the worse place in circle nine we could have arrived at, the enforcers office "I'll drop his stuff off then I'll drop you home y/n" he smiled climbing off the moped "just a moment" he smiled taking my hand giving it a soft kiss before he went to the doors scanning himself in with his watches screen. I was undeniably nervous. Any of these enforcers could know who I was. Honestly I'm surprised Newt didn't recognize me. I thought about just taking the moped and bolting but it was synced to his watch so it was turned off till he got back and syncing it to mine would take too much time not to mention the obvious stupidity of the idea, of stealing a moped parked Infront of the enforcers office
Soon enough Newt returned climbing back on the bike "all done. Now you direct me" he says starting it up again, I have him directions mostly making him go around in circles getting him lost near the end of circle nine he did try chatting with me nothing important just mindless chatter
"Stop here. I need to check the Address I think" I lied as we pulled into a small off street with no cameras in sight
"No problem take your time I don't have to be home for another hour or so" he smiled
"I uhh I don't know what's going on maybe her address isn't coming up right in here" I laid fiddling with my watch
"Maybe." He says "uhh y/n?" He says slipping his helmet off
"Yeah?" I asked waiting for some people to wander past the end of the road turning to sit on the side of the moped but he took my hand softly making me a little confused
"I'm sorry, but I had to be sure… I saw on your profile you're well…" he blushed making me hold my breath "Not taken" he blushed and I sighed in relief trying not to giggle well this is a good distraction
"You looked?"
"I did. I'm sorry I just couldn't believe it to be true when I first saw it. I checked twice. I can't help thinking this was… a chance meeting of fate. And I admit you're very beautiful" he smiled "I uhh I don't have work tomorrow, did you maybe wanna go out maybe take a nice walk In Melrose park?" He suggested
"That sounds very nice. But why wait till tomorrow" I cooed nuzzling close to his neck stroking his shirt, I could feel and hear his heart beating fast, his breaths sharp as he eagerly glanced down at me
"Uuuuuuuuuuughh-" he gasped melting into the tiny touch of my skin against him "y/n…" he sighed happily his eyes rolling back into his head
God you'd think I was doing something serious to him all I'm doing his nuzzling at his neck and kinda poking him
He glanced at my lips clearly egar to kiss them I went along with it allowing him to get get inches before I grabbed his shirt and pushed him as hard as I could onto the cobblestones
"Oww!" He complained in shock,
I synced the moped to my watch and quickly pulled out the speed Inhibitor
"What are you doing y/n?" He asks very confusedly Still laid on the floor confused
"Thanks for the ride Newt" I smirked blowing him a kiss before rushing off as fast as the little moped would go much faster now without the inhibitor the screen going crazy trying to stop me but I ignored it getting out of circle nine and even circle ten even if it didn't like leaving the tracks at the end of circle ten.
