37. What do they like the least about each other? for Mia and Pio? :)
OTP Relationship Asks
37. What do they like the least about each other?
Well to ask that from Pio would crush him! But let's humour this a little and see what his answer would be 😋
For Pio, he isn't keen on the fact that Mia can be a little too forgiving to others who don't really do anything to earn it; prime example being her parents. In Pio's eyes, they don't respect their daughter's wishes, and insulted him and his own family when he sat at their dinner table! They did come around over time, and are more heedful of their own actions, but truthfully Pio wouldn't want anything to do with them. But he is also aware that they are the only other family Mia has, so he is willing to let them in (reluctantly).
Another example is Grout - an old flame of Mia's and Pio's self proclaimed rival, who is pretty abrupt and rude. Pio is shocked that Mia just approaches him with patience and hospitality, but Pio would like nothing more than to punch him in the face.
Just gonna casually shadow drop a character I want to introduce into my fics 🤭 I'll let you all guess who he is related to.
* * *
Mia doesn't always like the fact that Pio is too blunt with his words. He speaks the truth, but doesn't always think about any of the consequences after. Examples of this being when he pushed back at her father, and much later his words to Mario about bringing Luigi down (I like to think Mia later gave him an earful for that!).
The reason that these two make it through such flaws, is because they know that all their positives outweigh them. They both know the other can make mistakes, but their connection makes it so they can get through it together. Communication and partnership is the key 💕
