back before the apology scene came out, i made this manga visual to show how i hoped it would feel for those of us who were ktdk-brained but it became more than that as i worked; i wanted to time important scenes to the key parts of the song like is done in animation, and i wanted the theme to be "stop trying to win this on your own", which is why the ending was added. i never posted it here but i guess i should have. it's not an "edit" in the tiktok sense, it's more like the old AMV style but manga panels?? idk i don't edit things but i tried

Bakugou haters are always wrong
I am unsure why Bakugou haters never learn.
This post will have manga spoilers up to the latest leaks.
I just wanted to talk about the fact that Bakugou haters always seem to misunderstand the next steps Horikoshi wants to take with the character. Per se, it would not be a problem, but the problem here is that, reading the same text (bnha) Bakugou lovers/fans and Bkdks reach different conclusions. And they are right.
So it means that someone is reading BNHA with their eyes closed, but also doesn't learn.
Here are some examples:
Back in the day, on reddit you would find people who believed Bakugou would join the villains
People would say that Bakugou's arc was done after he patched up things with Deku post Deku vs Kacchan part 2, so he would probably die during the first war - which didn't happen
Bakugou's "death" during the war. When he sacrificed himself, people who hated Bakugou were saying that that was the end of him. The sacrifice was enough, there was nothing else for him to do. Except that Bakugou fans were waiting for the apology - which arrived
Later, during Deku arc, people were sure Uraraka would swoop in and find Deku. Horikoshi wrote a giant panel of Bakugou doing that
After the apology, now people are sure Bakugou's arc is done, which is why they believe he was dead in chapter 360, when Shigaraki started strangling him.
During the Shigaraki confrontation, Bakugou haters were sure the "closest to Midoriya" sentence was a mistranslation. It was not.
And now this "death"

Why I think he is okay
mha 362 spoilers
why Bakugou isn't dead:
- We have a small part (final part) of his story (Deku and Bakugou never talked after the apology)
- Deku would be very sad at the end and I doubt Hori wants him to end up on a sad note
- Endeavor imagined the future, but because of the new costumes it felt more like a narrative flashforward and Bakugou was there
- There is a rise in temperature. Why?
- Aizawa's character arc was to protect his students. BNHA is too much of a happy story about saving to allow him to see one of them murdered
- The story is about how they all surpassed AM, so I don't believe anyone in Class 1a is going to die
- Remember how Hori said Bakugou will do something that haters love and that his fans will love. He hasn't done the second yet
- "His heart stopped" is a very strange way to phrase it. He lies on the ground and his heart stopped.
Now, he could have died and finish his story in Deku's vestige world, but it feels like a big jump to include a movie that was not part of the manga story, and is soft canon.
