Today I heard someone say that there is an "insecurity epidemic among young men" and I am just so fucking happy someone has FINALLY given me the words to describe what is happening to the world. I keep hearing whinging about "men's mental health crisis" and "male loneliness" and "male suicide rates" blahblah in spite of the fact that none of that stuff is actually an issue. Women's depression and rates of suicide attempts have remained consistently higher than men's over the years, and if we look at sex stats you'll see that the rise of loneliness is actually affecting women at very similar rates to men (12% and 14% celibacy rates in the US, respectively). Not to mention the suicide attempts of young women and girls have sky-rocketed in the last couple of years. Suicidal ideation in girls in my country is currently double that of boys. In spite of all this we still see males lashing out en masse, claiming that "men are under attack", "women are privileged", and feminism is "ruining men's lives". Even though none of their claims have any basis in reality there is still an obvious problem here- something is very disturbed in the modern male psyche; but I have not seen anyone accurately label the issue until today. There is an insecurity epidemic among men. Women are finally attending classes, entering the workplace, and gaining voting rights in most countries around the world. These changes are a recent development and they are making modern men question their place in society- as they should. Sadly, instead of taking this time to self reflect, men are desperately trying to stop women's suffrage and cry "abuse" whenever we hold firm. What we are seeing is a big, glorified tantrum, not a "mental health crisis". I am not sure how we would go about fixing this problem but I'm glad that I am finally able to name it!! I thank D'Angelo Wallace for the help.

MRAs claim they are against the war on fatherhood and that they want better outcomes for boys for when they become men. However, boys have far worse outcomes when their mother is not in the bonds of a marriage, an institution high-ranking MRA Paul Elam has denounced (while also discouraging men from starting families). If MRAs were actually concerned with these issues, they would have dogpiled Elam years ago, but the outcomes of the sons of single mothers is not a topic they're ready for.

Feminists be like "Misandry doesn't exist. Look at this horrifying example of societal misogyny. As you can see, misandry does not exist." Right wing MRAs be like "Misogyny doesn't exist. Look at this horrifying example of societal misandry. In conclusion, misogyny does not exist."
Perhaps consider the even more horrifying conclusion that both are a problem and oppressive gender roles suck for everyone.

Sorry, but I will never ever believe an older, wealthier, powerful man over any woman, who says she’s been abused by him. EXACTLY the same way I won’t ever believe the police or the military’s version of events, for the same reasons.
TERFS DNI.

I'm making a sequel to My Twisted World, and it will be about how hard it is for men online. Men, especially gamer men, are oppressed by the moderators and the women of the internet. Men are so oppressed that men who voice their support for my Men's Rights Activism efforts in Isla Vista are harassed and then eventually silenced by the jannies. When will we stop being second class citizens on the internet? Us men must fight for our rights...

why does everything have to be so complicated. why cant we just say okay this is a space/institution/scholarship/whatever for women only, this one is for transwomen only, and this one is for both of us? why does it have to be such a fight. i think its reasonable to create opportunities and spaces for trans people especially when they are medically transitioned but why does it have to mean female only spaces, opportunities and so on have to always be inclusive of males

Small children who think the stork delivers babies show a better understanding of the birds and the bees than MRAs who hardline for "financial abortion."

look, in all seriousness:
if you're suggesting 'removing the men from winx,' you had fucking better have reams of worldbuilding prepared explaining the new gender system you came up with to replace it. because otherwise you're just doing 'eeeeewwww, boys!' gender essentialism. it's gross.
if you think winx would be better without yucky boys distracting you from the pretty girls kissing, you don't want a story, you want a porno. go write one.

it’s worth adding that the guy in the screenshots from that terf blog (transmascpetewentz) is a prominent transandrobro and proud defender of israel who, as soon as people started posting about predstrogen getting deleted, immediately accused her of running a sexual harassment campaign against him with no evidence or further information other than “it was all on her old blog” (you know, the one that got nuked)
yeah that pete wentz fucker is on the same level as nothorses. acts all chummy with transphobes and radfems because of how much he hates trans women

So, gendies, let's see if I can get this straight...
The definition of "terf" matters because words have meanings, and that is more important than women's feelings, but trans women are women because trans women have feelings, and respecting people's feelings is more important than maintaining the definitions of words like "woman"? And holding these views is somehow feminist...? 🤔🤔🤔
Idk, though. I can't help but notice that all of the people whose feelings matter less than maintaining the definitions of words have one specific biological trait in common, and so do all of the people whose feelings matter more than maintaining the definitions of words. I'll leave it to you to work out what those things are for yourselves. I'm sure you'll figure it out eventually. (And no, I am not talking about whether they are trans or not).
