🐤Hello friends, I've done so much sewing lately but no updates for you, how neglectful!

🐤Please accept my humble offering of this, possibly the happiest piece of clothing I've ever had on my body. It has secret egg pockets 🍳 and two amusingly mutated ducks along the seam lines 😂

🐤Pattern is my self drafted orange sundress pattern, fabric is a cotton hubble with ducks! from poundfabrics.co.uk. The secret egg fabric was a gift :")

practice bow welt pocket for my seamstress final exam 💕 these look adorable on lolita jackets, cosplays as well as any everyday garment that needs a bit of sweetness that isn’t too overbearing ✨

A set of scrunchies I made for a work secret santa (to be joined with a tote bag and some nice hand cream). IMO of all the sewn gifts you can make that are 'universal' gifts, scrunchies are definitely in the top 3 for usefulness and ease of making. No one asks for a pillowcase or book cozy, but a scrunchie can be great!

The last month has been really crazy but it's so nice to make something little and easy!

Pattern: metra blazer by love notions (up to 5xl)

Size: xs with full bust front

Adjustments: none, might make the sleeves a bit longer if I make this pattern again, the lenght is fine, I think I just prefer it.

Fabric: punta di Milano from driessenstoffen.

Notes: used lovenotions class for this garment, which was especially useful since this was my first time doing welt pockets and the burrito method.

Started a new pair of socks! These ones are gonna be the tallest ones Ive made sofar and my first attempt at self drafting a pattern. Im pretty excited and happy with the progress and the colors. i think Ill make them just over the knee

The Gilbert Top from Helen’s Closet, in a lightish weight cotton woven I thrifted from a local reuse warehouse.

The pattern alignment was a total accident! I should try less hard more often.

✨Proud make moment! ♥️ For the launch of our new Grange Aran yarn, tomorrow, I thought I would show y’all a bit of a preview of this yarn in action! I knit the #verdea by @mishi2x in the 🧶colorway: “Salted Pearl”, and I just couldn’t be happier! ✨I loved every stitch, BUT, obviously the cables are my favorite! I mean- Hello stitch definition! 🍄Reversible adventurecore bodice!🍄

Grey thrifted linen and rust thrifted cotton, done up in my own armhole princess seam bodice pattern with bias lacing loops and tie. Time to never wear anything else ever again :")

Made the cutest little quilted jacket for my friend living in Berlin who’s pregnant! First time quilting, first time using my machine to make buttons openings and sewing buttons. So fun! (Using only second hand materials of course) 

it cold — time to revive last year’s Oslo sweater! She’s made out of undyed BFL held double with a variegated-colored suri alpaca and it’s basically the nicest thing I’ve knit ever ever ever

I have been hitting my goal of 10 rows a day, bringing me to 40 rows right now. Fingers crossed that I get this done before the yarn for my valentines dress arrives so I don’t start bouncing between projects
