And to that, I hold. I would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone.

"This would kill a medieval peasant". Most medieval peasants were farmers. You ever tried getting a farmer to go to the hospital? Those guys would truck through anything shy of losing an arm as long as the cows still have to be milked, that peasant is not keeling over from a dorito.

Sorry, but in 200-400 ish years a reincarnated medieval Peasant is going to play a ttrpg set in the time period of our modern day and the npc meant to be you is going to be described as a helpless, uneducated, rube who would explode if they got to eat cookies twice a day.
The GM is giving you a funny accent and your reliance on your apathetic government is being portrayed as a character flaw.
Oooo the players are trying to "civilize you" and give you a sense of purpose beyond "work till you die". They're teaching you to dance ooo.

Medieval peasants lacked a lot of everyday conveniences we take for granted. For example, it might surprise you to find out how they lit their homes.

If I travelled back in time to introduce a medieval peasant to a modern concept I would simply pick baking powder.
Me: --so basically, while we still have yeast, it’s not as necessary anymore!
Peasant: I don’t understand. You eat your bread unleavened?
Me: Well, sometimes? But other times, this acts as a yeast and leavens it. It’s less tangy, but it’s still good, especially for flavor profiles that need less tang, like something sweet.
Peasant: I see! So in the future, you have a freedom of choice regarding what type of bread your family may eat! How wondrous! I am very happy for you.
