Gusu school arc is still a school arc.#wwx would have a blast pouncing on lwj's Too Long Tail He Has Yet To Grow Into.#(Its very important to me that lwj/bluepaw has those kittenish big ears).#I will probably circle back to drawing teenxian apprentice antics after I get through the cast.#I had to put myself into a cat drawing boot camp for this AU (despite my sona being a cat I...actually don't really know how to draw one).#and I feel like I learned a lot + need a lot more practice...however this *is* the practice! Was thinking about scum villain cats because of poorly-drawn-mdzs's warrior cats au (because I was and still am obsessed with the battle cats). I ended up thinking about a cat show svsss au. Or just general cat au.
Liu Qingge is a silver Egyptian Mau, Shen Yuan is a seal point Balinese, and Luo Binghe is an all-black Savannah kitten (though the others don't know that). They all live in the same apartment complex.
I might eventually write something with this premise. Or I'll just use it as motivation to get back into practicing how to draw cats. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is my cat Amy. She has been very brave!
Two and a half weeks ago, she had to have major surgery. There was a huge line of stitches the length of her whole belly and some of her chest, so she had to wear a cone and a body suit!

here’s a google doc that is basically just me absolutely brain vomiting about anything that came into my head. it’s very very unfinished, so please comment/make suggestions whatever! if you have any cool ideas just tell me! im very open to like. anything at this point.
A couple notes:
names were chosen based on either what their name/title actually translates to in English, or something that their known for/look like. it just depends on what i was feeling.
i had to change several things both about the warriors canon and untamed canon (obviously) to make this fit so some things will be different
most cats don’t correspond to specific breeds cuz like, they’re wild cats, but that being said nmj is a Maine Coon and lwj is an oriental longhair. no i dont take criticism
every designer cell in my body is SCREAMING at me to make wwx not just Plain Black because that’s Boring, but also... come on. come on. black cat. come on.
if you have an idea for a name or coat color/pattern or whatever that you think is better, please tell me!! im not super attached to a lot of these, so @ me or comment or whatever! please i’d to hear from you

me? combining hyperfixations again? it’s more likely than you think!
hence, the leaders of the clans in @shadowsofhiraeth, as the leaders of the sects i associate with them! quick explanation under the cut
qinghe nie sect: HUGE. struggle w temperament, but are known for their strength and ethic- they don't care about blood as long as you can prove yourself useful. so i made them thunderclan! this parallel is the reason i made these drawings, i REALLY wanted to see hollystar in all of thar armoured gold
yunmeng jiang sect: water bitches! all of them are incredible swimmers, they live on piers and build around marshes because their whole area is full of lotus ponds and rivers. i thought therefore that riverclan would fit them!
lanling jin sect: care more about beauty and reputation, have a motif of gold. they dont fit windclan EXACTLY but the people there DO tend to be of a slighter build and they care a lot about their blood, which lines up with shadows of hiraeth’s lore in that they were the only clan that didn’t take in any shadowclan refugees
gusu lan sect: skyclan babyyyyyyyyyyy ok the lan sect literally have a sky motif and live somewhere called the Cloud Recesses. do i need to explain any further? no i dont. but they’re pretty serious about their rules and keeping to them! the skyclan of SoH fits this really well.
which lives the qishan wen sect as shadowclan - the fifth great sect that was completely wiped out thirteen years before the events of mdzs. the parallels between the wen clan’s extinction and shadowclan’s in SoH is almost too perfect!
i’ll most likely be drawing more and more of this au that will go nowhere purely because it makes me happy. watch out for that, i guess?
and if you couldn’t tell, minkstar’s outfit is based on donghua jiang cheng, hollystar’s outfit is a mix of donghua and manhua nie mingjue, ploverstar’s outfit is a mix of donghua and novel jin guangyao and raccoonmask’s outfit is a mix of donghua and novel lan xichen!

Are those little dolls made to look like 3zun as animals in the most recent comic? I need to know how/when Nie Mingjue got those. Are they gifts from Lan Xichen or Nie Huaisang? Did Jin Guangyao sew them himself and stuff them full of evil talismans in case the song didn't work? So many possibilities.
The 3zun dolls were a self-indulgent reference to this (previously abandoned) doodle! As for who made them in universe? I'll leave it up for interpretation B*)

Even if it's just a silly sketch or a doodle.#Sometimes they are little B plot jokes or alt dialogue to a comic.#or notes about what I want to say in the tags!#I was trying to thumbnail what would have been a larger piece (for the lace detailing practice) but put it aside to focus on the comic.#The aesthetic I was going for was 'Antique Victorian Dolls' with the little hand sewn dresses.#I really want to practice drawing lace and I thought this would be a cute way to do so.#Also something about the Venerated Triad being fluffy cats just really speaks to me...This is 3zun. In my heart.#In the comic they are 'cat -bunny - goat' dolls but the kitty trio was the OG concept.
