Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Americans and Canadians if you celebrate! Hope you all enjoyed the holiday yesterday. I had a lovely time w/my family and friends eating turkey, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. We watched Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving in the evening.

There are two versions: one from the modern day where Snoopy serves jelly beans and toast to his guests and one from 1620 where the Peanuts gang travels back in time on The Mayflower to Plymouth Rock. The latter is surprisingly quite historically accurate. Providing some useful insight into the Puritans' journey to America during King James VI's reign and also how to plant corn then known as maize by the Natives. Warning the depiction of the Native characters: Squanto, Samoset, and Massasoit is somewhat dated and stereotypical. It came out in 1988.
