Different Worlds 27 (March, 1983). “Dawn of the East,” by Mark Roland. This reminds me a lot of Dragon 31. The texture and palette here are too much for me, though I do like the way the city reminds me of the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.

Saw a tweet in this thread showing that the throne/chair Crowley has seems to be the same one his Supernatural namesake has and also a certain character of Michael Sheen’s.

Is the props supply that small that this is literally the same chair plus or minus a paint job or lighting? This is such a weird coincidence.

Also amusing that Roland Blum is sitting the most bisexually of these three

Everyone who worked at Eden’s definitely knew about Andrew and Neil before Neil did because you can’t tell me that Roland, a man who commits crimes on what seems like a regular basis, isn’t That Coworker™️ who just knows everything about everyone and spreads gossip like there’s no tomorrow.
