I take back what I said about the ugly ass hats. They’re still ugly but it’s a really fun pattern

#i think. i am getting the hang of crocheting #it does hurt my hands more than knitting does but like i can take breaks. it’s fine #one thing though… either my gauge was wrong or this pattern is very badly sized #because like why does a hat for a 2-4 year old fit my head. i mean it’s tight but like.. i’m a grown adult with a huge head #that should not be a thing #okay i’ve just checked and my tension on the finished hat is if anything a tiny bit tighter than the gauge specified #i’m getting the correct height but 14 stitches instead of 13 to 4’’#so i’m a little baffled as to what four year old they were measuring #regardless… i will be continuing #i’m not sure who in their right goddamn mind is going to buy a mango and lime green acrylic crocheted hat that is way too big #for their child’s head and can in fact fit a grown adult; but my neighbour seems to think they’re out there #so whatever. let’s see how many we can knock out before the craft fair #personal

It was so hard growing up in a minimal-fruit household. Only fruits we had consistently were apples and bananas which aren’t juicy enough to be considered true fruit imo. I was so jealous of my friends that had oranges and berries and melons. I thought they were millionaires. Other people nowadays complain they didn’t have snack foods like cheez-its and cheese-filled crackers and potato chips and pop tarts and things growing up but we had all that. Cuz it was cheap in bulk at Sam’s Club and didn’t require washing or cutting and didn’t make a mess. But it was soooooo dryyyyyyy and I didn’t even like those foods. It was like eating sand (and still is to me). All I wanted was some juicy ass fruit 😔

#oh and also we didn’t buy fruit cuz it was expensive and when we did. because we never had it and it was my favorite food. I would eat all #of it #fruit still is my favorite food. when I earn my own money I’m gonna buy sooo much fruit 😤😤😤😤😤#I think I’m allergic to kiwi and mango cuz I literally didn’t try it till I was like. 12/13 #OMG I DIDNT TRY HONEYDEW OR CANTALOUPE TILL I WAS 7/8 #not cuz I didn’t want to but cuz we didn’t buy fruit!! cuz it was expensive!!#we had canned fruit in that syrup that makes them not even taste or feel like fruit #i mean my parents tried. the bush years drained our finances #OMG LITERALLY when I would have a fruit craving and we didn’t have any I would have a vitamin c gummy instead. which I still do #and they help. but it’s stupid cuz we were literally middle class not even poor and couldn’t afford it

https://www.palestinagrupperna.se/ en huvudsaklig samlingsresurs för grupper i sverige att organisera sig med som är aktiv sen 70-talet. Här finns fakta, poddar, konsumentbojkotter, föreläsningar, insamlingar, osv. Palestinagruppen är mot apartheid fundamentalt utöver elduppehåll. De organiserar även Tuesdays for Palestine, för universitet och högskolor.

angående konsumentbojkotter i Malmö och Göteborg specifikt om ni köper second hand så stöttar björkåfrihet gaza, och säljer specifika palestinaimportprodukter såsom olivolja och kikärter.

SVT pekar mot EBUs beslut och att en stor del av osannolikheten av Israels uteslutning är att en huvudsponsor för ESC är ett Israeliskt företag.

i malmö har det i nuläget(02/22) bestämts att frågan om Israel i Malmös eurovision skall tas upp i kommande lokala kommunmöten. Man kan som medborgare ta del av dessa möten. I nuläget är det endast vänsterpartiet av regeringspartierna som driver frågan, men man kan ta kontakt med kommunrepresentant för att själv framföra frågan och ämnet. “Sydafrikas regering har anklagat Israel för folkmordsliknande agerande mot Gazas befolkning”

“kriget i Gaza, som inleddes efter Hamas blodiga attack i Israel den 7 oktober. EBU har sagt att Israels public servicebolag inte brutit mot några regler och kommer att få tävla.”

Inga ord om att ICJ dömde Israel för detta “folkmordsliknande” beteende, eller vad som skiljer folkmord från “folkmordslikt”, medans attacken gentemot Israel är rentutav "blodig". På denna nivå överlag ligger journalistiken i Sverige.

Det är viktigt att vi som medborgare belyser att Sveriges regering inte bara är åskådare utan är medbrottslingar i Israels fortsatta utrotningsförsök mot det palestinska folket. Vi bör vara väl medvetna om propagandan som inte bara kommer utifrån, utan inom sverige, och bekämpa denna.
