Most heroic journeys involve going through a dark place—through mountain caverns, the underworld, or labyrinthine passages to emerge, finally, into the light. Or they may involve traveling through  a desolate wasteland or desert to a green land. This journey is analogous to passing through a depression.
In the myths as in life, the traveler needs to keep on moving, to keep on functioning, to do what has to be done, to stay in touch with her companions or manage alone, to not stop and give up (even when she feels lost), to maintain hope in darkness.
The darkness may represent those dark, repressed feelings (of anger, despair, resentment, blame, vengeance, betrayal, fear, and guilt) through which people must pass if they are to get out of a depression. It is a dark night of the soul, when in the absence of light or love, life seems meaningless, a cosmic joke.
Grieving and forgiving is usually the way out. Thereafter, vitality and light may return. It helps to realize that death and rebirth, in myth and dreams, are metaphors for loss, depression, and recovery. In retrospect, many such dark periods turn out to be rites of passage, a time of suffering through which a woman has learned something of value, and has grown. Or she may have been, for a while, like Persephone in the underworld, a temporary captive who later becomes a guide for others.

You may have the strength in you.
You may have the darkness in you.
You could be the white sheep.
You could be the black wolf.
Do you really need someone to find it out for you?

Falin has the most extreme case of "dead anime girl voice" I've ever seen. It's terminal. It's resurrectional. She's gone all the way around from innocence to mindless bloodlust. Her breathy innocent tones have got her sporting big beefy legs! She got feathers on her titties! She's got titties on her feathers! She's got the t-- the titt-- the.... what was I talking about??

Ingenue: ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ an innocent, physically charming and generally nice woman or girl that is unbothered by worldly knowledge *ੈ✩‧₊˚

“people love an ingenue” - a playlist about relating to the ingenue feminine archetype. girlhood, femininity, being kind, naïveté, hopeless romantic, inner child, people pleaser, being a mess, coming of age, making mistakes, being too trusting, messy relationships, and above all else just being a girl at the end of the day.

She will stay the eternal maiden or the eternal victim, until she stops withholding herself, denying the truth about her situation, and learns from experience. Only then does she become a woman who has “eaten the pomegranate seeds” and is committed to following her own destiny.
If Persephone had not eaten anything in the underworld, she would have been restored to Demeter untransformed by the experience. Eating the pomegranate seeds meant that she would return, but never again as a victim. By eating the seeds, she symbolically integrated (or digested) the experience...
The experience had changed her... She acquired Hecate’s wisdom and discerning twilight vision, and then became queen of the underworld, ruled the realm of the spirits...and was a guide for those whose mythic journeys took them into the underworld...
An abducted Persephone can literally be an incest or rape victim, or she may be in a withdrawn depression, or be an addict, or be overwhelmed by the unconscious, and be out of touch with reality. When she recovers and if she integrates the experience and is stronger and wiser because of it, she is then able to be a guide for others, perhaps as an AA sponsor, or therapist, or indirectly through her creative work as a poet, artist, musician, or writer... With the archetype of queen of the underworld, she can draw upon her empathy, imagination, and easy access to the collective unconscious, which are resources for creative work.

The same people who compare Peach with Zelda, and conclude that Peach must be inferior because she is too pink and feminine and bubbly, and therefore definitely a brainless damsel with no good characterization, also completely ignore or misgender Sheik because the idea of a woman also being a man makes them uncomfy.

I was reading astro posts and I am once again faced with the fact that me and my natal chart are walking paradox or rather a blend of two extremes.
The Scholar and the seeker, the student and the teacher, the maiden and the crone, the wild woman and the nurturer, etc etc etc
Like Aquarians are supposed to be contradictory, but, I don't think it's supposed to be this extreme 😂😅
Let's not forget that my representative tarot card is the High Priestess— someone who sits perfectly balanced on the boundary of the dark and the light aka two extremes.

TOP 5 FAVORITE LEN'EN CHARACTERS (very obvious ask)
There's nothing wrong with an obvious ask! I certainly didn't see it coming, even when I know I should've lol.
(Disclaimer: This list is highly subjective and the order can be changed at anytime. What can I say, I am not good with lists lol.)
1. Adagumo no Saragimaru. Something that is absolutely baffling to me, as characters of their archetype tend to be fairly low on my mental list. I think I just like how pathetic they are (and for being a rather sympathetic and painfully relatable person, things I find rare in stalker characters), and how the only person with any common sense here is this little asshole lol. Also their design is neat. I like capelets.
2. Adagumo no Yaorochi. I find them surprisingly relatable, in a lot of their odd quirks. I rarely see anxiety (and by proxy paranoia) and hotheadedness paired together like this (with hotheadedness in the forefront at least), which is painfully relatable to me as someone who has struggled with both in the past (and still often does). Not to mention I just like the fact that they successfully obtain and restore (albeit to a point) the object of their obsession...and then just continue on with their life lol. Also their arrogance and quick temper is funny.
3. Kuroji Shitodo. I just think they're fun. This asshole constantly toes the line between me wanting to watch them succeed (at their more noble goals at least), and watching them crash and burn like they oughta, and it's glorious. If Tsubakura is who you'd wish to be in Len'en because they are cool, Kuroji is probably who you'd realistically end up turning into if you actually end up in Mugenri (assuming you don't die at least). A very shaky analogy, admittedly, but there is a weird truth to them that I just can't shake. I cannot wait to see where their corruption goes (and whether they are able to turn themselves around or not).
4. Sukune Katano. They're such a cutie. But that's not why they're here. They're here because they're the exact sort of stubborn, hardworking fellow able to take care of themself (and others) that I can't help but admire. Their character arc about creativity is a very, very relatable one (especially as a creative myself) as well. They aren't the most complex character in Len'en to understand, but they are a character I relate to in their simple honesty. And I can't help but admire them for it.
5. Tsubakura Enraku. You knew they had to be here somewhere lol. Tsubakura is on here more as the character I can safely say got me into Len'en as a whole. I think I mainly just like the mystery they present and also their dialogue is funny. Also, I love their design lol. Not much more to say for me on them. Others before me have put it best.
And that's all I got for now! A pretty obvious list if you're familiar with me and my writing tricks by now, but hey, now you know for certain! At the moment. Who knows with me lol, but it's usually around this range.

It took 3000 years, but I finally got Witch’s Strike to resolve against another player! It’s pretty finicky about what counts as actually setting it off, but it’s SOOOOO satisfying to just wipe out your opponent’s entire field and hand with it
The fact that I did this to a Magical Musket player just makes it all the sweeter, haha
