The cockatrice can be found in a wide range of habitats, from temperate forests to grassy planes. These raptors are apex predators though pose little threat to humans. 

Despite the surrounding myth, the cockatrice does not collect toads in order to hatch it’s eggs but as protection. Once the female has completed building her nest mound, which is a collection of dirt and surrounding debris, she will dig a hole and lay her clutch of eggs. Once laid, she will abandon the brood, leaving the male to finish the task. 

From there, the cockatrice male will begin harding toads. (Venomous snakes have also been spotted in nests as well.) Careful not to kill them, the cockatrice will aggravate, shake violently and bite at the toads in oder to get the toad to secret it’s bufotoxins. Once released, the cockatrice will smear the toxins onto the eggs as best as possible and toss the toad into the nest. For the toads who manage to burrow out from the nest mound, they will do so with their lives. Those unable, will be the baby chicks first meal. Once sealed the male will abandon the brood just the female. Chicks are able to fend for themselves upon hatching.

Magic Table 360 is EXACTLY the kind of project that I am channeling with PresentPlay. It’s neither brain training nor habit tracking, but simply offering people living with dementia a sense of fun and engagement. Writing up my project, I am looking at a lot of the ‘how’ - how will I get it to users? how will I fund it? how does it work? But it’s also a great time to reflect on the ‘why’. And that is simple: meaning, purpose & fun. Seeing the roll out of Magic Table 360s across care homes is a brilliant reminder that this a market who have needs and that technology can be leveraged to meet them.

PARDON ME VIOLET I HAVE A QUESTION! If one were to like, design and get a whole tattoo sleeve around a gift mark on their arm, would that basically hide it from regular people??? Like it'd just look like part of the tattoo maybe??? Or close enough at least

Last night was fun. I did some studies of my crystals and she checked out the new deck I gave her. It’s nice having another first gen friend in my life from the PI. I love spending time with her. I feel energized when I am with her and feel like I can be exactly myself around her. Thankful for friends like her in my life.

To the anon who is trying to be polite to say that rap is a “style thief”, having a similar aesthetic to another artist isn’t copying and just like many people in this hobby, seem to not know what copying really means.

Copying is what Pidgind0ll and MagicT!me did to Fa!ryland stealing their minifee body to every detail. Copying is when Fairyland stole those steampunk weapons for the feeple60 Rin and Celine release. Copying is what Pp!nkydoll did to K!noko Juices and D0llzone by modding their bodies and selling it as their own. Copying is what Ladysa!yuki did to Asleep A!dolons Pear head also modding it and passing it off as their own. Copying is what Mir0doll did to Iplehouse by copying their JID body. Copying is what L33keworld did to Dust of D0lls copying their original Appi body for their dolls. And lastly, copying is what Bunny_munstor did to Villitun3s when they ACTUALLY copied her cyclops doll from head to toe, for real this time. And don’t even get me started on the various East Asian companies that copy Volks’s Super Dollfie bodies.

Those are REAL cases of copying where people were deliberately taking major parts or entirely from another artists work to pass as their own and because rap just happens to like pear shaped bodies and mouse ears like some other artists doesn’t mean it’s the same level in anyway, not even close. Creating drama and pitting artists against each other is so unneeded, especially over something minimal as ears being similar. People really need to find something better to do with their new free time right now.
