One of my sweet little kittens has discovered that I have gel in my seat cushion and is endlessly fascinated by it. She turns in circles and makes biscuits on top of it and it's absolutely adorable.

(The gel is always redistributed in a weird way when I transfer back into my chair, but I can't bring myself to stop her. She's the sweetest little cat child and seeing her curl up on my chair is unspeakably cute.)

Thinking about a rain scene in GO3. It starts to rain while they're arguing over something. Probably something stupid too, it wouldn't be during something major. So they start to look for an awning to shelter under while still arguing. And Crowley just starts laughing because he remembers the Awning of a New Age™️ and how it didn't fucking work. And Aziraphale gets so angry because Crowley is laughing while they're supposed to be fighting and also they're starting to look like drowned rats, and he just snaps and grabs Crowley by the lapels, like Crowley did in season 1, and shoves him into the nearest surface to continue what he was trying to say so Crowley will listen. And he gets a few words in before stopping when he realizes-

1. What he just did.

2. Their faces are very close.

3. Crowley is just staring at him. With that same face from Eden, when he admitted that he gave his sword away to Adam and Eve. And in the bookshop, when he admitted that he blew up his halo declaring war on Hell.

Not upset, not shocked, not scared. Amused, pleased, slightly smirking. Besotted. And Aziraphale tries to back away then, dropping his grip, but Crowley doesn't let him. "No no no, by all means finish what you started. Don't let up now on my account. We were arguing, yes? Continue." But by then Aziraphale can't recall what they were arguing about or why it was so important.

The History of Gay Bars in Indiana & Season 4 Imagery

So. I want to make a quick disclaimer that this post isn’t a theory— I’m not saying any of this is connected, I just stumbled upon it today and thought it was interesting.

I did a search for the song ‘Rock Me Amadeus’ and ‘Queer,’ because I was listening to the song while writing a fic and was curious if there was any subtext I should know about. (For anyone who forgot, this song plays in Rink-o-Mania before El’s wipe-out.) I didn’t find any queer-lens lyric analysis, but what I did come across is maybe even more interesting.

An article from Indystar published in 2013 on the history of gay bars in Indiana, which just so happens to mention the song. Keep in mind that I didn’t search for Indiana or Indianapolis, just the song and the word queer.

I started reading out of curiosity, and I noticed a couple of interesting lines that reminded me of imagery we saw in Mike-and-Will scenes in season 4. Again, I’m not saying I believe they’re connected, I’m just hyperfixating and love drawing connections between media and history.

This is almost certainly coincidental, but I love to find patterns and make connections even when two things aren’t plausibly related. I know that the Duffers are very intentional with their music choices, though.

came home from uni for the weekend and had the house to myself for approximately two hours while the rest of my family were at work before I began having a conversation with the empty living room about how awfully so many people mis-characterize Gojo, especially some dude-bro fans who insist on projecting weird male power fantasies on him and stripping him of all his compassion so that he's "basically a villain who has no morals, he's just on the side of the good guys cause it's more entertaining." cause like apparently they think the epitome of male coolness is for a guy to be basically a god and have no empathy at all and just destroy things bc he wants to.

I put off watching the end of Classic season 11 for a WHOLE WEEK because I was so sad that 3 was regenerating. That's my baby girl like... I've heard people say that 4 is where it really gets good, but 3 was so fucking amazing to me. I've liked each doctor more than the last so far, and as excited as I am to watch Tom Baker I'm gonna miss John Pertwee so much.

Still love mickey and Ian but fuck I'm actually sobbing now.

Just finished reading Nac’s anniversary story and was hit by an angsty thought. These poems by Tite Kubo really fit Nac and Aruji’s dynamic “You, without sin, are like the sun” “Even with your sins, you are like the sun”. I’m just gonna crawl into a hole and sob for awhile.
