Haven't done one of these in a while, so here's something soft and sweet and a teensy bit spicy!

Asra loves to start off slow and gentle with wrist kisses. He looks at you underneath his snowy lashes, a mysterious glimmer in his eyes. Feather-light, he presses his lips to your wrist, sending delightful shivers up your arm.

It tickles a bit and makes you giggle, a sound that's music to his ears. Asra beams brightly before he draws himself up to capture your lips with his. He swallows up your laughter, presses you close to him as you tangle your fingers in his curls. Each strand is soft against your fingertips. He hums into you as you deepen the kiss.

Asra's fingers slide up underneath the hem of your shirt. His hands are warm against you. You can feel the familiar thrum of his magic flowing through him. Even when he's not using it, you can sense its comforting presence.

Nadia loves to press featherlight kisses to your eyelids. Her plush lips always grace you with warmth and gentility. She moves to litter kisses across your cheekbones, along your jawline, and at the corners of your lips. When she pulls back, her eyes are alight with a sultry mischief.

A lot of times, it starts with a tickle fight and ends with her littering your face with kisses, before she moves to make things a bit more heated. She loves the way you gasp at her first touch, the way your hands grasp desperately at her soft thighs.

Your fingers tangle in Portia's curly locks and it's moments of bliss like this that she is grateful for. Whether it's quiet evenings in her cottage, cozied up under some blankets, or enjoying a picnic lunch break on some adventure, Portia loves to make sure you know how much she adores you.

Portia's kisses are bubbly and bright, conveying her deep adoration for you. She breathes you in like a crisp spring breeze.

Muriel loves your lips. They're plush and soft against him. He'll pull you into his lap while the two of you are sitting in front of the fire and just hold you close for a moment. When you gaze up at him, firelight twinkling in your eyes, he can feel heat creep to his cheeks.

- she goes to write back and blanks, realizes she doesn’t know what’s right or if there’s a wrong way to do the love notes, but a little advice from portia who ‘accidentally’ walks in her brainstorming session helps

there were a lot of frustrated sighs and growls coming from nadia’s room and the girl thought to go in there to see if the countess was torturing someone or needed a break from whatever documents had her in a tizzy

- the countess is remarkably good with flustering you in person or not, there are moments with the servants believe the countess to be having an affair of some sorts because of how flushed she walks around, but not so, it’s only you and your lovely words leaving her breathless daily

- these help on long days away from you when she really can’t bear it, she loves the sentiment of receiving you loveliest words from you, but she’ll often tell you she wants to kiss the sweet words off your lips

- she loves to send you little gifts and things that require you to be in her presence or return to her (she thinks she's clever but you see through it) and nadia is a bit too smug when you return to her with whatever she's sent you

- oh muriel, this baby has considered love letters only because he wants to put the effort into having one of those relationships you see on the streets where one lover is entwined with the other even if you assure him that not all love has to be a performance

- like the countess, he spends time mulling over what he wants to say to you until it settles that it’s close to a regular letter, except he can relay his heart to you

you’ll have to talk to him beforehand about sending love letters because if he up and gets one he’s going to worry over whether or not such sweetness is meant for him and if it’s alright to return one back to you

- “i think of you whenever you aren’t here” and ‘here’ is scraped out and replaced with home “because no place i’ve visited with you ever feels whole when i’m there alone’ truly, it’s a marvel to read

- muriel struggles the most with love letters only because he’s reluctant to pen down his feelings for you to a page when he’d much rather show you his affections, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t good at it

- he’s not all too worried when you don’t send a letter, he’ll poke around your shop to see if anyone’s seen you and might pout, but when there is a letter attached to inanna’s neck, there’s a tug of his lips that rival any token he could ever send you

muriel's love letter includes :: pressed leaves + flora, small carved charms, and a cross-stitch square

- he’s not against the idea of sending love letters but he wonders why exactly you want them, he doesn’t see them as pointless - he mostly wonders if you’re serious

- he doesn’t spend time mulling over what he’s going to send you, it happens and whatever he thinks of in the moment he’ll jot down and miraculously is the best at not being repetitive with these lovely written numbers without needing to remind himself what he's written to you

- he grows fonder of these handwritten letters more and more because these are ways he gets to appreciate you and pick up on the little bits you think of him and he eats. it. up.

- quoting poems and literature seems juvenile to him so him because tethering words to you would be an insult when people are more prone to remember a sunset or the stars in the sky, so he mostly sticks to recalling his favorite bits of you and he’s truly fortunate to be yours

- he’s a softie about these things and as someone who was indifferent about the whole endeavor to begin with, he gets a little miffed when he doesn’t receive a love letter in return (expect a grumpy valerius)

The Arcana - One Shot

This is a huge ass self insert moment. Asra and Lucio are my all time favs and while I did choose Asra as my main at first I gotta admit that broke me felt like he didn't want me, got my own feelings hurt after taking this game so serious and switched to lucios route in the meantime with the initial intention to distract myself while I collect enough coins for Asras route and boi oh boi- I fell for Lucio :p oppsie

CHARACTERS: Lucio, Asra

GENRE: kinda angsty tbh

CONTEXT: romantic relationship (Lucio), platonic relationship (Asra)

WARNINGS: major spoilers of both routes I think, argument (nothing gets physical tho)

EXTRA INFO:

1) this plays during Book 12-The Hanged Man (1. Vicious Cycles) of Lucios Route (essentially right after everyone including Lucio returns from the magical realms but this definitely includes some info about MCs 'past' -

2) Essentially the reader used to have romantic feelings for Asra however decided to move on since Asra didn't make his feelings clear (yk the entire ordeal if you have finished his route better). Reader is romantically pining for Lucio in the present moment

As everyone got up to have lunch so did I. This entire ordeal had unravelled so much crucial information at once that ones hunger cues were automatically no longer prioritised. We walked towards the exit, however, before I could reach the door I felt Asra putting his hand on my shoulder.

"MC, can I talk to you for a minute?", we whispered, leaning closer as to make sure that nobody else heard. Nobody besides Lucio seemed to be bothered though even he decided to leave us alone - if not reluctantly.

"Is everything alright?".

It wasn't unusual for Asra wanting to talk to me in private. However, I hadn't gotten the chance to ask about his well-being ever since he had reunited with his parents. I figured that Lucios actions must have affected him greatly which I wasn't I aware of before. Infact I wasn't aware of anything Lucio had done in the past until now.

"Are you sure about Lucio?"

I knew exactly what he ment. He had obviously taken notice of Lucios fondness towards me. And I admit I didn't have any interest in hiding my obvious attraction towards him either.

"I know that he definitely likes you", Asra continued, "but you don't know him as well as I do. He wouldn't hesitate to harm the people around him for his own good.."

"Asra, I understand your worry", I sighed. His gaze remained on me, showing a hint of unsatisfaction or even disappointment. "But you know I can take care"

My tone must have given away my frustration since I was already very much familiar with these types of conversations with Asra.

"This isn't about you, MC", his tone sharpened as he said my name, "It's about Lucio. He isn't the kind of man he tries to make you believe he is-"

"Asra, I understand-"

"But do you?", he almost whispered. While his words were harsh his eyes were focus on me with their usual gentleness having returned before I had even noticed, too occupied with the topic at hand.

"Do you know about even half of the things he has done to not only me but the rest of us? The rest of Vesuvia?"

Asra stepped closer to take both my hands into his. His eyes shifted to our hands as he caressed mine with his thumbs. I could feel his magic tingling at my fingertips, a familliar and comforting feeling.

"MC, I wouldn't forgive myself for not being there for you. And I am sorry if I ever made you doubt that in the past"

I sighed. "But you did leave me-"

I shake my head as I slip my hands way from his, closing my eyes while my gaze shifts away from him.

"Asra, I don't doubt what you tell me about Lucio. But I have seen him change for the better step by step. I simply believe in him."

"So you don't care?" - "I never said that!"

Asra closes his eyes as he takes a deep breath attempting to calm his nerves. I felt guilty for not simply listening but at the same time this wasn't right. This wasn't right for him to do.

"It's much more about me making my own judgement", I continued, "I understand your pain and I don't expect you to forgive him."

Asras eyes met yours again, full of worry and doubt. I guessed he doubted myjudgement? My abilities? Maybe even doubted me as a whole?

"Please, MC. Listen. I say that with all honesty, if something happened to you I wouldn't know what to do with myself anymore. Please, don't do this", his familliar tenderness had returned as he replied. His hand found it's way to my arm caressing it affectionately, calming me down in the process. But I simply shook my head, this time not taking my eyes away from his pleading face.

"Just why do you doubt me so much, Asra?", my voice had become a whisper at this point. This wasn't the first time that I had asked him this question but this time I was burning for an answer. Was I truly that helpless in his eyes? Still? After all these years? I always thought I was strong, stronger than before at least. It was confusing for him to confirm my belief once and then tore it apart in the next.

"Just tell me, why Lucio? Out of all-why Lucio?"

Slowly his hand slid from my arm into my hand. I didn't hesitate in slowly engulfing his hand into mine firmly, my eyes never leaving his.

"He makes me feel wanted, Asra. I feel acknowledged. Strong even....I know I can't just trust him to be truthful like that but...I feel happy when I am with him"

"He isn't good enough for you, MC-"

"He's enough for me"

It was like time was frozen as we stood there. The silence within the four walls had settled in a comfortable yet noticable manner and I knew that I didn't want to break it.

"MC? The others are almost done having lunch and you're still sticking around this worryrat?" Lucio announced his presence as he barged into the room shaking both of us. Had he been listening this entire time? Chances are he never left since lunch wasn't exactly anything he could really benefit from in his current state.

I simply nod into his direction. I looked over to Asra who seemed to be very unhappy with Lucio barging in, however, his usual tenderness returns as I caress his back gently.

"We should go, don't you think?", I smiled at Asra gently pushing him towards the door, "You must be starving-"

M6 and Jealousy

Here is another set of Arcana headcanons from my old blog! The devs talked about how they'd rank the M6 from least to most jealous in this post here, if you are curious :)

Asra is not a jealous person. He's just too laid back. If he sees you talking to someone else at a party or if a customer flirts with you in the shop, he trusts you enough to know that nothing is going to happen.

He'll get protective of you if someone is bothering you, though. If you're getting unwanted attention from someone, Asra absolutely will step in to protect you. He'll get this sharp glint in his eyes as he approaches the person. It's a little jarring at first, haha. Asra might not be intimidating in stature, but he's pretty skilled with his words. He'll overwhelm the other person with his dazzling rhetoric and cutting insults. His sassiness will deter anyone who won't leave you alone.

If you tend to get jealous, Asra might be a bit perplexed at first. He's never given you any indication that he's interested in anyone else, so he tries to reassure you that you have nothing to worry about. It's something he likes to talk through with you and try to come up with a solution about. It's never his intention to hurt you.

Nadia can get kind of jealous sometimes. Not wildly jealous, but if she sees someone flirting with you, or she thinks you're flirting with someone else, she might get upset.

When Nadia gets jealous, she tends to get distant. She might give you the cold shoulder or cast withering glares at whoever is flirting with you. But she also wants to make sure she's there for you if someone is bothering you. If someone is really getting up in your face, she'll swoop in to protect you. She is not going to tolerate someone bugging you, at all. Her commanding presence alone will drive off any unwanted attention.

If you tend to get jealous, Nadia will understand a bit more than Asra. She'll try to reason things out with you and reassure you that you have nothing to fear. People are often intimidated by her, and her cool confidence is typically enough to shut down any flirting from others. But if something does happen, she'll take you aside and privately discuss how you're feeling. She's good about checking in with you.

Julian, much like Asra, does not get jealous easily. On the rare occasion that he does, he might pout and wallow for a little bit, but he'll perk back up when he realizes he's got nothing to fear.

Again, much like Asra, Julian will throw-down for you if someone isn't leaving you alone. He's not above starting (and finishing) a tavern brawl for his beloved. He'll throw punches and hurl creative insults at whoever is bugging you. Even in the midst of a fight, he's pretty light hearted about it. But he takes protecting you very seriously and you can be settled in the fact that he'll always be there for you.

If you tend to be jealous, Julian might feel uncomfortable. On the one hand, he might think it's kind of cute at first, but if you are really upset, he'll be at a loss. He doesn't ever want to hurt your feelings. He's just a naturally flirty person (the man would flirt with a wall if there was no one else around to talk to). He'd try to reassure you that you're the only one for him, but I think it would be hard for him to turn down his natural charm.

Portia is the most jealous of the bunch (something the devs mentioned, I think). She isn't going to tolerate someone flirting with you or you flirting with someone else.

Portia isn't toxic about it by any means. She just gets really hurt when she sees your attention is being monopolized by somebody else. She starts to feel a bit insecure about her place in your life and will wonder if maybe she's not good enough. She'll start to shut down and fold in on herself. But as long as you reassure her and give her lots of hugs and kisses and talk things through, Portia will ultimately be okay. She doesn't have anything to fear from you and you want to make sure she knows that.

If you tend to get jealous, Portia will absolutely understand, since she feels that way as well. She'll try to do the same for you that you do for her: hugs, kisses, reassurances, and talking things out. She'll never intentionally flirt with anyone and if someone is flirting with her, she tries to shut it down pretty quickly.

Muriel is pretty middle of the road when it comes to jealousy. I think he doesn't get jealous too terribly often, but when he does, it really confuses him. He doesn't quite know how to process that emotion at first.

If he sees you getting attention from someone else, or you start showing attention to someone else, he gets this gnawing, weird feeling in the pit of his stomach. He can't comprehend what it is at first. All he knows is that he is less than appreciative of the stranger who is taking up all your time. I think it would bring up feelings of insecurity and feeling like he's "not worthy" somehow. But you are quick to reassure him and remind him how important he is to you. He will also wander over towards you and stand protectively by you if he thinks you're being bothered. He's a big guy, so anyone bugging you will immediately be scared off.

If you tend to be jealous, Muriel doesn't really know what to do. He doesn't understand why you're jealous at first, and then when he realizes, he's at somewhat of a loss as to what to say. He will try his absolute best to reassure you and make sure you know that you have no reason to worry. He might be a little awkward about it at first, but he really wants you to know that he cares for you so much and you have nothing to fear.

OhmyGod, Lucio and jealousy just go hand-in-hand. He is jealous all the time and does not like it when others flirt with you/you flirt with others.

But at the same time, some part of him kind of enjoys it. I think he mostly just likes being the one to fend off anyone flirting with you and making everyone aware that you're his. He'll be livid at first when he sees someone trying to get close to you, but then laugh at the face they make when he sidles up to you and throws his arm around you. Lucio shoots piercing glares at whoever it is and tells them to beat it. He likes seeing you get flustered about the whole situation, too.

This man will purposefully try to vex you. If you get jealous, he will make sure that you get really jealous. He enjoys watching you get upset when he's flirting with someone. He never takes it too far, though. And if you're really, really upset, he'll try his best to calm you down, apologize, and reassure you that you have nothing to truly worry about. He's not the best when it comes to emotional discussions, but he also doesn't want to lose you.

he is so excited to go to the beach

this man LOVES to swim and play beach volleyball and you can’t change my mind

you end up being the driver while he plays his ‘perfect beach’ playlist

you don’t mind because the way he hums and taps his hands on the dash is adorable

definitely packs a speaker and blasts music all day

1000% wears his own merch and probably has cute little green board shorts he wears

sets up an umbrella for you to lay under and put all your drinks

he’s in the ocean more than he is on land

probably brought some pool floaties or something to play with in the water

if you don’t get in he will totally throw you into the water

and starts an all out water war

if you don’t like the water though he respects that

buys ice cream for the two of you

and spends twenty minutes trialling every flavour first

doesn’t wear sunscreen himself but will apply it to you as often as he can

“I don’t want you to burn! My healing only does so much”

if you’re tired at the end of the day he’ll drive you home so you can sleep in the car

and if you get burnt he’ll apply some aloe vera extra gently for you

Baptiste

honestly a bit of a miracle in itself that you could drag him away from his work

but once you actually get to the beach he’s super excited

definitely brings a book or something to read while you’re there

also has a cooler with lots of snacks and drinks, and at least five water bottles

shows up in khakis and a Hawaiian shirt but has cute patterned swim shorts underneath

probably with like little palm trees or something

doesn’t play in the water too much and mostly goes in to cool off

splashes you at every chance he gets though

is an absolute sucker for those fruit drinks that they serve in the fruit

he is no longer a big fan

if he does agree to go to the beach he is definitely not playing any beach sports or swimming

but he DOES bring squirt guns to annoy you with

he pulls them out of literally nowhere to douse you in water

it doesn’t matter if you take it away, he’ll just pull out another one

if you try to retaliate, its all: “babe no the salt water is bad for my armour”

“im literally shooting your actual skin”

he is a BLESSING to have when its really hot though

cause he can control his body temperature, he is like a portable air conditioner

you just lay on him whenever you get too hot

he accepts it because he just wants to be close to you

Hanzo

makes a bunch of food and drinks for the beach

including lots of tea sandwiches and juice boxes

brings it all in this ginormous cooler that he can barely see over

also brings himself a book to read

he’s not very interested in going in the water but he’ll play beach games with you

or just lay on the towel and read

but if he’s reading you’re more than welcome to lay on him

make sure he applies sunscreen!!

he has delicate skin and burns easily and WILL be grumpy if he gets burnt

he’ll go in the water if you ask him nicely

but don’t splash him or else

when you’re swimming he would definitely let you wrap your arms around his shoulders while he swims around and just tow you

he is probably a god at beach volleyball tbh

and shuffleboard but we don’t talk about that

makes sure you stay hydrated the whole time and is constantly pushing you to try the food he made
