What does overwhelmed mean?

Feeling overwhelmed might signify various things to different individuals. To some, it can simply mean being stressed out and overwhelmed by too many chores. 

Others can see it as feeling entirely out of your depth and unable to cope. 

In any scenario, feeling overwhelmed is not a nice sensation. It can cause feelings of anxiety, worry, and even panic.

It may seem like you are trapped in quicksand when you are feeling overwhelmed, and the more you move, the more you sink. It seems as though the weight of the world is bearing down on you, and you are unable to escape. You can feel as though you are submerged in a sea of obligations and are unable to maintain your head above water.

The feeling of overwhelm can result from a variety of circumstances. It could be brought on by an unanticipated event, a tight deadline, or a huge challenge. 

Regardless of the cause, feeling overwhelmed can be quite debilitating. When you’re feeling overwhelmed, it could be difficult to think clearly or come up with a solution. 

Your heart can race, and your breathing can feel laboured. It seems as though the stress of the situation is about to break you.

What causes people to feel overwhelmed?

In the world we live in, there are a lot of demands and expectations. We are constantly receiving broadcasts telling us what we should do, how we should live, and what we should buy. It seems that we frequently feel overwhelmed.

Also, several factors can contribute to feeling overwhelmed. One of the most common is simply having too much to do. for instance we are juggling work, family, and social obligations, and trying to fit in time for ourselves. 

It can feel like we’re constantly running on a hamster wheel and never getting anywhere.

Another common cause of feeling overwhelmed is perfectionism. We put unrealistic pressure on ourselves to be perfect in every aspect of our lives.

We try to do everything perfectly and end up feeling like we’re falling short. This can lead to feelings of inadequacy and worthlessness.

Sometimes, the causes of feeling overwhelmed are more psychological. We can have unresolved trauma or anxiety that is causing us to feel constantly on edge.

We can be holding onto unrealistic expectations that are impossible to meet. Or we can simply be unable to say “no” to others, leading to a build-up of resentment.

Whatever the cause, feeling overwhelmed is a common experience. But it doesn’t have to be a permanent state.

There are things you can do to start managing your overwhelm. Start by identifying the root causes. Once you know what’s driving your overwhelm, you can start to make changes.

The process for reducing feelings of overwhelm

STEP-1 

The first step to managing the feeling of overwhelm is to identify the cause. As mentioned above, we have identified some of the possible reasons for overwhelming feelings. 

Once you know what is causing the feeling, you can begin to take steps to address the issue. If the cause is a situation that is out of your control, try to take a step back and focus on what you can control.

El dia de hoy se llevaron a cabo las premiaciones #mma2019 ( de las más principales de Korea), y en la cual @bts.bighitofficial rompió récord ganando los 8 premios por los que competía, 4 de ellos daseang (los premios más importantes) álbum,grabación,canción y artista del año,convirtiéndose en el mayor ganador de ese evento ,con 33 premios en solo 6 años.Un récord impresionante para ellos y una lástima que hayan sido vilmente ignorados para las nominaciones de los #grammys2020 ,teniendo hasta el momento el álbum más vendido del 2019 y la canción más escuchada en plataformas digitales musicales,y ni hablar de la gira #loveyourselfspeakyourself con más de 3 sold out incluyendo el Citi Field, donde agotaron las entradas en menos de 15 minutos. No sabemos los motivos por los cuales no se consideraron para esta premiación, y nadie hizo una declaración oficial,dejando muchas dudas sobre si es Xenofobia o discriminación a su música,lo cual provoco que muchos artistas y medios de prensa famosos,cuestionaran la fiabilidad actual de los Grammys,y sumado a esto las nuevas regulaciones de #Billboard sobre ventas de álbumes de los artistas en donde se reveló que la mayoría consigue sus ventas por medio de bundles...lista en cual no figura #BTS,con lo que se comprueba que sus ventas son legales y limpias, gracias al esfuerzo de sus fans (#ARMY) quienes apoyan constantemente al grupo.
