Hi Max! I just wanted to say thank you for helping get me back into reading this year. I’ve never been a good reader, I’m so slow and always feel like that means I lag behind or I can be easily put off if books are too long because I just defeat myself with ‘you’ll never get through that’ before I even try!
But I’ve been preaching and preaching to my pupils to read and i thought i should practise what I was preaching. I found rack ‘em and CLM during the summer and I was hooked (as i think you know lol). From there I fell down the rabbit hole of your masterlist, and then I found other stories and writers that I enjoyed too.
I’m always telling kids that it doesn’t matter WHAT you read, and I feel proud enough now to say that I don’t feel like a scam artist when I’m telling them that reading is wonderful and you just need to find what you like 😂
Anyway, that was a lot of nonsense really, but I wanted to let you know that you were one of the first writers in this fandom that I found, and your writing is incredible. I wish I could teach writing and reading lessons based on your stories because they are SENSATIONAL.
I tell you all the time and I feel like the words I have won’t ever be enough to explain just how phenomenal I think your writing style is. The way you’re able to immerse your readers in the stories, and the way you can take a character and write so many different versions of him (that are all still so quintessentially Joel) leaves me in complete and utter awe every time. The language you use, your adjectives, style of writing, it’s almost like poetry. It’s so beautiful that I’m stunned after every single thing you post, no matter what story it has come from.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas if you celebrate, and that you are well-rested and spend lots of time with loved ones, friends and family 💕

Hi hello just wanna say V0 looks absolutly incredible and I really like their design. Glad to know bug inspired V models are as popular as I wanted them to be.
It also adds symbolism bc I personally view angels as birds and birds eat insects. But then you have the goliath bird-eater. (I know spiders are not bugs but shhh, let me talk.) And all the spider v1 memes. The insignificant fuck who tabled the turns and ate a bird instead.
Arthropod V models instead so we can include spiders.
...
That way we also include crabs.
V2 as a crab model.

Ghosts, vigilantes, archenemies, ghost and vigilantes as archenemies. It was all so complicated.
But up here, in the cool night sky, it all melted away. It was just Danny and Valerie. Side by side.
Valerie let her head hang back as the wind blew through her hair. She inhaled deeply and let the atmosphere fill her lungs.
"Absolutely beautiful." Danny breathed beside her.
Valerie flushed at the compliment and giggled turning to Danny only to see him looking up at the stars.
Of course that's what he meant.
"Oh. Y-yeah, the stars."
How embarrassing.
Valerie ducked her head out of Danny’s vision and covered her face. How obvious could she get?
"Hey Val?" Danny asked, leaning in close.
"...yeah?" She responded, uncharacteristically shy.
"Tag." He said as he tapped her on the nose and took off.
"Wha-Danny!" Valerie spluttered as she took off after him.
They raced across the sky, weaving between each other, exchanging taps, until Danny got in a playful smack and tore ahead into a clearing just outside of town.
Valerie followed him, slowing down as she weaved between trees before stopping and crouching behind some bushes in Danny’s periphery.
Danny stood amongst the fireflies as he pretended he didn't see her as Valerie creeped closer.
With feline-like grace, Valerie lept from the bushes and tackled Danny to the ground.
"I got you." Valerie crowed in victory
"You got me." Danny huffed in laughter.

the girls are downing tylenol and ibuprofen because apparently getting 2 wisdom teeth out is $1000 😣 kisses u gently so as to not disturb the tooth ripping a hole in my head
oh gorgeous!!! I am so so sorry. I’ve had toothache a few times and had to get a tooth pulled a few years ago and the pain genuinely, truly made me want to hurt myself, I didn’t know how to cope, and im so sorry you’re experiencing that now!!! It’s such an awful pervasive pain!! Have you ever heard of clove oil? It doesn’t fix the pain by any means but that did help me some, as well as very sensitive toothpaste, and over the counter medications!!
also, I know lots of people have impacted teeth and they can’t be saved, but my wisdom teeth are fine in my jaw these days. After the initial pain of them growing in they’ve yet to hurt me, so hopefully your pain is temporary!!
