🌸ROHINI🍭

DISCLAIMER: This is based solely on my research and the patterns that I saw. I can't promise that I'm gonna be sure in all the coorelations, but I'm going to attribute each nakshatra a goddess that I think fits it the closest. If you're dissapointed, to make up for it, I'm going to list some other deities in the end that I think also fit the nakshatra. Don't come for me if you think I'm wrong, be respectful in the comments if you think so and have fun 🤍

This one was easy and also not easy? It seems too easy, too easy to be true, like the mythology of the nakshatra itself...

Lakshmi

Pantheon: Hindu

Name meaning: a lucky omen, the goal.

Associations: wealth, beauty, love, abundance, fortune, power, fertility and prosperity.

Symbols: Lotus flower, elephant, owl, gold coins.

Lakshmi, according to Hindu mythology, was born from the churning of the ocean of milk, an event that was caused by the war between the Demons and the Gods. She was born fully grown, on a lotus, with a smiling, radiant face. She rides an owl and is often depicted by two elephants showering her. Elephants are a symbol of strength, luck and proserity. Owl (the symbol of the opposite nakshatra- jyeshta) is often seen with Lakshmi as a kind of guardian, always watching over her.

Rohini is the nakshatra of quick and rapid growth, its real life natives often being physically mature but internally childlike, often more dependant and submissive. This is the trait that makes this nakshatra the favourite of the moon, the planet moon is also literally exalted here, as well as Rahu.

One of the symbols of Rohini nakshatra is a chariot. It's a preserved tradition that brides ride in a chariot on the day of marriage. Lakshmi is often depicted seating on a chariot. Chariot/cart is also the symbol of the Taurus, the sign in which Rohini is located.

Some sources say that Lakshmi is associated with the moistness nessecary for growth (rohini's power).

You might have noticed that in most depictions she has four hands. They are said to represent the four aims of life: Dharma (righeousness), Artha (gathering necessary material recources), Kama (going after desires) and Moksha (liberation through knowledge). Her name literally means "aim" or "goal", so that definitely makes sense.

The deity assigned to Rohini is Prajapati- creator god. Rohini is the birth of the cosmic daugher and feminine at its most submissive. So submissive, that she does not question what influence is offered to her, she just absorbs it and gives it back.

Because Rohini is growth in all of its aspects, it's no wonder that the Hindu goddess of wealth is coorelated to it. Rohini is also closely connected to the Hindu culture overall. The overabundant use of bright, saturated colors and the frequent flower symbolism (flowers are connected to Rohini) is reminiscent of what people find beautiful as children, especially little girls.

The overall analysis of Rohini is a completely different topic and claire nakti has done a stellar job at it. Hopefully this post made it clear why I think Lakshmi is the fit for Rohini. Also, do not think me lazy because I chose a Hindu goddess, it's literally the best one I could find, besides, Indian culture really suits Rohini.

Apologies to Rohini natives and everyone else, I couldn't find other deities that suited Rohini, besides Prajapati and Goddess Rohini herself, but I think that Lakshmi is pretty much on point. Let me know your thoughts, comment, reblog, like. Thanks for reading and take care 🤍

🌸Companions Favorite Flowers!🌸

Was talking with @by-the-erdtree in the Discord about which flowers would be the favorites of the companions and wanted to share 💖

Gale

Loves lilies of all kinds. Something about their delicate, slender appearance looks right to him.

He also has a soft spot for lavender as it's soothing smell is something he would have nearby while studying/meditating on his work. (The fact that they're purple is an added bonus)

Shadowheart

It is confirmed by her in-game dialogue that her favorite flowers are night orchids! She likes other orchids as well, but the night variety are her favorite by far.

Astarion

If pressed to give an answer Asterion would say something stereotypical and "romantic" like roses, to match that sultry seductive vibe he has.

The truth is though, he prefers small delicate flowers like bluebell or violets.

Karlach

A lover of super vibrant and bright flowers, he absolute favorite would have to be sunflowers! They're so big and bright and always looking to the sky, she feels a kinship with them. She would love to lay in a field of them and just soak up the sun's rays for an afternoon.

Halsin

Bear papa likes flowers that come from berry bushes, especially blueberries! Such hard working flowers that grow and transform into tasty snacks for traveling through the wilderness, what's not to love?

Lae'zel

Our tough warrior will insist that flowers are beneath her notice, that she would never find beauty in something so useless.

But if you watch her carefully on your journeys, you'll see how she pauses to admire daisys and dandelions growing along the path. Such hardy little plants that grow everywhere, even the city!

Not that she actually finds them appealing, what are you talking about? 🙄

Wyll

Wyll has an appreciation for all different types of wildflowers he's seen during his time on the Frontier.

If he had to pick favorites though, he would admit he has a soft spot for chrysanthemums, which look so plush and vibrant in color, or black eyed susans, especially the ones that have multiple colors going to the center.

The Emperor

In his long lifespan traveling to different worlds, he's seen some pretty incredible things. Off planet, he'd say his favorite flower is one that doesn't have a name in common tongue that grows in various shades of white and blue, with a soft glow about them due to the planet they grow on being one shrouded in darkness often. They are carnivorous flowers.

If he had to chose one from the Forgotten Realms, one that's known to the people of Faerûn, he would pick ones with big fat petals and vibrant colors. His most favorite would be lotus flowers.

🌈Spring blossoms across the world!🌈

(my version of Deep Cut's Springfest outfits redesigned to match the cultures they represent)

💚🌸 Starting with Shiver and her japanese vibes, I gave her the hanami dango 🍡 from Frye's original design (because I found it super cute!) so I placed it on her earrings and folding fan. Adding to her green of this Splatfest and the sakura leitmotiv already present, I added more greenery by making her headpiece more elaborated with a branch sticking out, similar to a kunzashi! That and a short, modern take on a kimono set up her redesign.

🪷🩷 Moving on to Frye... Oh boy did her looks take a lot of effort and research!

So, as starters I wanted to her Indian vibe to shine, and decided to give her a bit of their own Spring celebration known as Holi, the Festival of Color. On the same note I give her a lotus headpiece that along with jewerly, a translucent half saree and her joyful vibes completed her look.

🌼🩵 And out dear Big Man, if course, had to be a Carnaval King! I made his headpiece waaaay more exaggerated and gave him a butterfly bow-tie cuz puns! I also learned that the national brazilian flower is called an "ipê amarelo" so I placed the small yellow flowers in his crown as well. Overall, gave him more color.

Anyhow, it's my version and a lot of people have done other lovely redesigns, but this is mine and I like it! I hope you guys enjoy it too! 💕

red camellia, pond lily, lotus, lily of the valley, cosmos, marigolds, carnations...

i probably like arrangements more than any one flower, but those are ones i usually stop when i see or try to incorporate in an arrangement the most

About her: Misaki is a young shy lady moved to Tokyo. Leaving home and school to improve her skills, she heard about the Jujutsu High and joined the school with a lot's of other young people in her class. She is a bit shy at the first, but the more she gets to know someone, the more she comes out of herself. She is a gentle, nice, helpful, loving personality, she is reliable, loyal and always there when things get serious. She can also become chaotic, clumsy and very emotional. She lives alone in her apartment in the city, she like to wear black clothes, she has a weakness for sweets and love eating ramen. Her favorit doing is going out for a walk in the nature or at night to look at the starry sky. She also like action but otherwise she is the calm and relaxed type.
