So the past couple days I’ve been drawing more of @bellatheinkdemon fankids
Just to list off who’s who, we got:
Spicy Plum Sauce Cookie (Red Pepper/Plum)
Choco Peach Tart Cookie (Dark Choco/Peach)
Sweet Cream Dragon Cookie (Pure Vanilla/Longan)
Mixed Berry Choco Cheesecake Cookie (Wildberry/Crunchy Chip)
Choco Cream Cake Cookie (Dark Choco/Whipped Cream)
Raspberry Ripe Cookie (Dark Choco/Raspberry)
Mint Cocoa Cookie (Mint Choco/Cocoa)
Truth be told, I was planning on drawing them back when the next batch of 6 came out, but then I never got around to it, only deciding to draw them randomly a couple days ago. Though I do plan on drawing the rest at some point, just don’t know when
Honestly, I feel like I did a lot better this time around than last time, especially with them all being around the canvas instead of just rows, I think it looks better that way. And heck, I even got an extra one in this time
Probably could have fit an eighth, but I didn’t really want to move around the characters on the canvas even more
I’d say my personal favorite was Sweet Cream Dragon, I think they turned out real nice
I do have to say though that I just don’t like how Mint Cocoa’s hair turned out, but I wasn’t sure how else to interpret the original without majorly tweaking the hair. I mean yeah, I did do some tweaks here and there, but I wasn’t really sure how to hear without majorly changing things. Shame because I really liked how her eyes turned out. But ah well, them’s the brakes I suppose
But yeah these were fun to do, and hopefully it won’t take as long for me to get to the next batch. Hope y’all enjoy!

It emits an amber-hued glow through the light and in Chinese, it is known by the most lyrical moniker – some call it “the tears of peach blossom”. Its nutritional content is as rich as its appearance. It is Peach Gum (桃胶), surfacing on diners’ radar in recent years for the large amount of collagen it contains. Peach gum is the resin from peach and Chinese wild peach trees, already solidified when it is found. As detailed in classical Chinese medical literature, its curative qualities include solving urinal infections, thirst-quenching and relieving stress.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not only used frequently by doctors of Traditional Chinese Medicine, peach gum is also a natural and healthy food rich in amino acid, which allows collagen to be quickly absorbed into the human body. This makes many people fall in love with it, and many recipes featuring peach gum has been devised since then. From soups, cooked dishes to desserts like this home-cooked Peach Gum & White Fungus Sweet Soup, the gemstone-lookalike is a delight to both our palate and skin.

If all versions of Sun Luzhen love apples and hates peaches, what about the other Wukongverse kids? Any favourites? It'll be funny the peach loving Wukongs have half of their kids not liking peaches. The betrayal of genetics.
At least Heaven's Peach Gardens are safe from them... Or are they...?
Referencing this post about Luzhen loving apples and hating peaches.
LMK Xiaotian/MK has canonically expressed his love for stonefruit, so he probably loves peaches. I've seen hcs that he absolute fave though is apricots ("Not too big, not too mushy, just the right amount of cronch!"). This gets his Au counterpart the nickname Apricot.
Mei would love any fruit thats brightly coloured - kiwis being her fav for flavor alone, but dragonfruit is a close second.
Bai He is in the kid phase of "fruit is gross", but Macaque has managed to get her to enjoy frozen blueberries and strawberries.
The Eclipse Twins devour any fruit offered to them like little piranhas, but especially melons. Give them a red watermelon, and the end result looks like a crime scene.
Yuebei is a peach fiend like her baba. No stonefruit left unturned. Her twin brothers Jidu and Luohuo are a little different since they loudly prefer plums and mangos like Macaque.
Hib!Liuer is a peach-fiend like his adoptive dad/mentor. Fa Ming probably convinced the little monk to eat his fruits by telling him how much the Monkey King loved peaches.
Hib!MK/Xiaoyun has a predicament... he does like peaches and other stonefruit - but his fave fruit is pomegranate, a fruit that requires a lot of dexterity to enjoy. Dasheng only found out Xiaoyun had this issue when he caught the one-armed kiddo trying to peel a pomergranate with his feet. Pre-peeled pomegranate fruit/seeds are aa god-send for him.
Shui Lian (the white vixen in the HiB verse) loves most berries and tree fruits, but her favorite is cider apples (like irl foxes) which confuses anyone who eats one and gets a mouthful of super-sour rotten-tasting apple. More for her then :3
In the Reborn verse; Qi Energy/"Fruitie" is a little fruit glutton. As shown in the film; the little nature spirit noms on what appears to be breadfruit, longans, and apples while in the village market. He also eats to replenish his powers. In the reborn au; as Xiao Qi he's even worse. Ever since he's been introduced to stonefruit, he ravages peaches like they're going out of style. The parents still joke that he's a fruit cannibal.
The two wolf siblings (Zhu Yu and Ku Ai) that Reborn!SWK & LEM picks up are used to forest fruits like berries and the rare crabapple. Their favorites are blueberries, which they will literally jump into bushes for. They don't see what the big deal is with peaches.
And ofc you got the 5 Stone-Fruit Monkeys, who are all named for said fruits. More cases of "fruitie cannibalism" the pilgrims joke; as the five babies have declared the fruit they were named for to be "their fruit". Fights will break out if you attempt to feed anyone other than Xiaotao/Little Peach a peach. They all agree that dates are a neutrally-enjoyable fruit however.
Netflix!MK/Xiaoshi loves peaches, but Netflix!SWK actually doesn't care for them that much - bad experience with the poisoned one.
The twin pebbles love cherries, and again, crime scene occurs when left alone with a basket of them. They also love raw tomatoes.
The Heavenly Orchards may breathe a sigh of relief for now... until the different MKs get into the celestial realms and start getting hungry. Xiao Qi and Yuebei probably give a few immortals pstd flashbacks with their snack runs.

Lunar New Year Festival
Throughout the week, there was a noticeable buzz in the air of Central Park--not just of rumors and excitement, but of magic itself. One night, a large troupe of beautiful young women dressed in red and black hanfu gracefully flit throughout the large space carrying a variety of decorations and furnishings while a handful of others quickly and expertly cleaned the entire space of litter and rubbish. They carefully marked off the ice sculptures the Norse goddess had previously made; some were moved to other locations to be admired while others were highlighted in their own showcase. Snow sculptures crafted by residents were also carefully relocated to safe places with high visibility so they could continue to be enjoyed by everyone.
Another handful of ladies floated toward a small clearing, carrying several traditional instruments and began to play some lively tunes for the workers to enjoy as they continued to set up, some of the fairies even dancing and singing along as they placed decorations. These musicians would frequently be seen (and heard!) throughout the duration of the week-long festival as well, providing plenty of live entertainment for attendees--as well as accompaniment for professional dancers who performed a variety of dances. Several new sculptures were brought in--angled archways along the entrances to the park, decked with Spring couplets and Fu characters; several very large and expertly crafted dragons of exquisite detail--one dragon for each pantheon: Chinese, Norse, Japanese, Egyptian, Mayan, Greek, and Celtic dragons all--and despite translucent and frozen, the fierce beasts appeared as though they could come to life at any moment to breath a snow storm into existence.
Quickly, the area continued to be decked with banners and signs of crimson paper, adorning messages in a variety of languages, written in bold characters illuminated by magical golden ink shimmering phrases alternating between Happy New Year--2024--Year of the Dragon and variations thereof. Enchanted string lights of crimson and clear in the shapes of hanging lanterns joined in the decor; each lantern's glow also enchanted to provide warmth to the space so those in attendance could enjoy the outdoor festivities comfortably while the park was bathed in the light of a perpetual sunrise regardless of time of day.
Despite the ice and snow still present, one could easily find many blossoming peach, plum, and sakura trees as well as a variety of peony arrangements and even some strategically-placed potted kumquat and tangerine trees with small signs tied around their base for patrons to help themselves to their fruits as it seemed that no matter how many one picked, they always seemed to grow right back! And the fruits themselves were juicy and delicious!
The pleasant smells of flowers and citrus blended even more with the delicious aromas from the various food stalls that would be open from lunch until midnight. Festival goers could partake in an assortment of street foods from classic jiaozi dumplings, steamed bao (with a variety of fillings, with vegetarian options!) as well as special rou jia mo containing steamed catfish and vegetables for a surplus of good fortune in the new year, chuan’r and char siu, longevity noodles, candied hawthorn, popped lotus seeds, bakkwa, roasted peanuts and chestnuts as well as dried shrimp crisps for snacking, tangyuan, fried battered shrimp (for happiness and laughter!), niangao with special fillings ranging from lychee and longan (because how could one NOT have longan in the year of the dragon!?) to persimmon and kumquat, and much much more! And of course beverages were available at the Spilled Tea stall!
In the northern section of the park, a large tunnel had been erected--two large walls of ice with the "fu" character carved along the surface in intricate patterns. Along the top, however, rows upon rows of scarlet lanterns swayed for an enchanting and fantastical display; certainly a beautiful fixture--some may interpret it as magical and inspiring, some may see it as delightfully romantic. Nearby, another long wall stood beside a stall containing red many "fu" talismans; the young woman at this stall would gladly explain to those curious about how to make wishes and prayers on these cards and hang them on the wall to bring about good fortune for the year ahead. This same young woman happily provided guests with enamel pins in the shape of dragons from their respective pantheons. This nice and helpful young lady was also happy to provide attendees with pamphlets containing a map of the different vendors as well as schedules regarding specific performances and activities.
In the southern area of the park, many pillars of varying heights had been set up, wrapped with red and gold ribbons and adorned with more insignia plaques in preparation of the lion's dance to be performed each evening at sundown. In fact, at other times of the day, one might even catch a glimpse of the dancers wandering around in costume--2 lions!--wordlessly and playfully interacting with festival goers (especially children) and obliging selfie-takers. Many vendors could be found dotted throughout the park--a pleasant blend of traditional preparations heightened by magic. One vendor carved custom stone stencils for stamps of varying sizes--from personalized letter signatures to others the size of plates, demonstrating how to use them for those interested in watching that traditional printing style. Another vendor created malt candies in a variety of shapes and characters ranging from dragons to the "fu" character to moons and stars and so much more, much to the delight of children who enjoyed watching him create edible art.
Other activities included a variety of games located near the pavilion that had been erected in the center of the park--a beautiful and majestic structure of ice, trees, and flowers, adorned further with magnificent paper lanterns that swung gently with a light breeze. Of course, this was where the musicians and dancers performed at varying times of day regardless of the size of their audience. If one looked close enough at these lanterns, however, they would find small cards attached to them with riddles to solve--like a scavenger hunt leading them to another lantern hidden somewhere in the park--a fun little game thought of by the owner of Galaxy Games, wherein each lantern at the starter pavilion had a different set of clues and thus, a different adventure each time, ultimately leading to a variety of prizes--some were silly plushies and candies or vouchers for meals or services at different businesses throughout the island, some may find red envelopes containing money, others might find Felix Durant himself at the end who would provide them with a lucky charm granting them optimal good fortune in whatever they did for the next eight hours.
There was, of course, the classics--the arrow toss, archery contests, live portraits, constructing paper lanterns, using silk cords to make braided cords or other intricate designs, an elderly man telling stories with shadow puppets, and a few fellows wandered about performing fantastical tricks with Chinese yo-yos.
Another activity was the "Dragon Battle" on the west end of the park--which was really just a fun snowball fight for all ages, a battle that never seemed to formally end, surrounding a massive space filled with 'forts' made of ice and snow.
The classic dragon dance took place each night at 8:00 sharp and one could follow the illuminated beast's and its dancers' course throughout the entire park as it chased after the glowing golden orb.
Of course, this would all culminate on the evening of February 10th with a magnificent fireworks display brightening the sky with flurries of color and enchanted images including pixius, qilins, each creature in the zodiac (especially the dragon!), a variety of flowers including lotus blossoms, peonies, chrysanthemums, peach blossoms, and so much more all set to energetic music by live musicians.

No no no! In fact, I am cool with it! At least it helps me recognize who is who a little more easier! :D
Goddamnit, Mystic Flour, f*cking kiss the dragon already! /silly /j
But yeah, I hope it's the case! The design is similar to that of a peach blossom, too!

And according to my research, peach blossoms in Chinese culture represent marriage, and a long and healthy life!

Sis is preparing to cook White Fungus & Peach Gum Sweet Soup. First, to rehydrate the dried white fungus (Tremella fuciformis) or snow fungus for about 30 minutes. As for the peach gums (桃胶), she soaked them since last night as they are hard as rock. For the dessert itself, beside the two main ingredients stated above, they are dried longans, red dates and goji berries. Add rock sugar and adjust the sweetness to your liking. This dessert can be consumed hot or left to chill in the fridge for a refreshing change.

I can tell you what fruits i like!
Apples
Oranges
Kiwi
Dragonfruit
Pears
The kinda pears we call pears but arent pears
Lychee
Strawberries
Blueberries
Raspberries
Grapes
Bananas
Durian
Mangosteen
Papaya
Longan
Mangos
Watermelon
Cherries
Peach
Guava
That one fruit thats like a mangosteen but not
Coconuts
Honeydew
Rambutan
Passion fruit
Theres probably more that i forgot </3
That's quite a lot. I actually have not heard mangosteen or rambutan before. Some of these are not super widely available where I live, though. I know what a loganberry is, but I have never seen one being sold. Maybe I need to go to farmers markets again (but crowds of people and sunlight...)
I don't know what the unnamed not-pear is or the not-mangosteen is. There are pears that don't look like traditional pear shapes (Asian pears, for example), but they are still pears.
I am curious if you were just listing or if you went in a particular order? When I mentioned that I shouldn't be allowed to mention fruit I like, I mostly meant my top favorite fruits. (Which I'm actually weirdly specific if I'm asked about my favorite fruit. It's mango - but specifically honey/yellow mango because it's the superior mango and pomegranate is a close second, so I feel like it's unfair to lump all mangos into the top spot when, yeah all mangos are good, but the honey mango does the heavy lifting in the favorite position. I can't do pomegranate dirty like that. The poor fruit has such a short season for me to treat it like that).
My favorite fruits tend to have romantic or erotic associations/symbolism. (I accidentally have slutty tastes, I guess?) I just get into using them in writing: the sweetness, the color, the seasonality, the ability to stain. . . I enjoy using food in writing in general, I think. My brain just gets a kick out of adding it into writing. It adds a bit of spice (pardon the pun - or pun adjacent since spices aren't technically food, and the double entendre for when I write about food in smut)

I'm makin' this an au now- Runaway Heir au.
In a basic sense, Vagabond indeed is Longan Dragon's son in this au and they did raise him. But, unfortunately for them, Bond made a friendship with Plum cookie and peach cookie(he's a two-three years older than those two) and often snuck out to see them. They treated him like an equal and vice versa. He started to question what his parent taught him. Eventually, he ran away after witnessing a cookie get petrified by Longan without even a thought. Longan thinks that cookies kidnapped him sense in their twisted sense of logic "why would he even think to run away from his own home?". IT'S OBVIOUS WHY- and if you are wondering why they didn't see it coming, it's because they can't see his future. It's undetermined. Because of that, Longan is rather- protective of him. They want him safe by any means, even if it means some unethical behavior. Yes, they have considered unethical ideas, But never went through with them until he ran off. Now they're trying to find him and take him home. Let's just say he'll be- exhausted the moment they find him.
Anyways, here's Bond in the royal attire he used to wear.

--
Sunday was a fast day, of course, It was basically an extra day to digest any food I'd eaten prior. The calories I counted was from a decaf coffee which doesn't count for me but I added it anyway.
(I keep forgetting these are queued)
|Meal breakdown|
Monday: I had one egg, one waffle, and one piece of bacon for breakfast which was about 220 calories and I burned 650 right after. Lunch was just tuna and crackers, I didnt count the calories of things I added so the total was only 196. Lastly for dinner I had rice with seaweed which was only 86cal and im pretty sure I had food my sister brought as well but I couldn't calculate the calories so I just didnt add them.
Tuesday: This was my high cal day, for breakfast I had oatmeal with fruit, a boiled egg and a cream cheese bagel, the total was 315 calories. I had a snack right before lunch which consisted of gerber puffs and sunflower seeds equaling up to just 40cal. Lunch was Greek yogurt with half a peach and a protein brownie totaling about 175cal. And dinner was instant ramen containing 470cal and a snack right after of a honey bun and ice cream bar equaling 560cal.
Hi, so I hadn't planned on my next diet being so soon so this week as to get a medium and how much I should be eating a day for this upcoming diet and also to track my self control.
Wednesday: Breakfast was once again, an egg, a waffle and one bacon equaling out to 220 calories. I wrs hungry or bored after work so for a snack I had one bowl of cereal equaling out to 115 calories, and then for dinner I had a cream cheese bagel and oatmeal totaling 370cal. I had another snack which was a Grandma's peanut butter cookie 190cal and then a second dinner ( I know..) which was popcorn chicken and curly fries from jack in the box and that was 530cal total.
Thurday: For breakfast I had pancakes (5) and fried egg yolk from the egg i used for the pancake mix totaling to just 170cal. Fir a snack I had a small piece of a Grandmas peanut butter cookie and a rice cake totaling out to just 40 calories then, for lunch I had greek yogurt and a protein brownie totaling 150cal. For another snack I had longan fruit and rice crackers totaling 170cal and lastly dinner which was instant ramen and half a can of alcohol free mimosa (mimosa was disgusting btw) totaling 405 calories.
Friday: Friday was a pretty low cal day, for breakfast I had oatmeal with berries amd tea for just 103cal. I had a one snacl the whole day of just cereal and rice crackers totaling 152.5cal, and for lunch I had oatmeal another packet of rice crackers and then my sisters leftover totaling out to about 315.5cal. Lastly gor dinner I had Udon noodles with an egg and sparkling water totaling out to just 300cal.
Saturday: Last day of eating like a "normal" person for breakfast I had oatmeal and a cream cheese bagel totaling 373cal and for lunch I had oatmeal and a packet of rice crackers totaling 148.5cal. I had a snack while running an errand of just a packet of rice crackers for 42.5cal. For dinner I had a sweet potato with cauliflower which I didnt really calculate and my sister gave me some pie right before the clock reset so it totalled out to about 333cal
So far, excluding my cheat day I should be eating about 700 calories per day and burning about 300 but, since the cal intake is so high I'm going to reduce it by 100 each day and try to burn 100 more each day.
