Summary

Riku wakes up in a bed, confused and dazed, what was he doing there? who was he? even if he tried to remember, his mind could not come up with any memory. Luckily someone told him what he was: a fairy. For Riku something felt out of place but he didn't know what it was. Meanwhile, Kairi woke up in a strange kind of hospital, next to her was Sora. She noticed that her friend Riku was not there, Sora woke up next to her in another hospital bed and when she asked for Riku, Sora only made a grimace of disgust…

So, if Kairi has to have short hair again in Kingdom Hearts IV--which I imagine there's a good chance that she will. I feel like Kairi herself prefers short hair. And it makes sense for her to keep short hair now that she's a warrior, so that her hair can't be used against her in battle--one hairstyle I would personally love for her to have would be this one:

Something akin to Maria Deluca's from Roswell season 1.

It does that flippy thing, like Yuna or Selphie's, but it's also different from theirs, because instead of doing that on either side of the head, the hair is flipping out behind the head, if that makes sense.

I just think it's pretty. And it bonus points in that it could seem like Kairi was inspired by her friend Selphie, or something like that, while also still being original.

this girlie can fit so much guilt complex in her (OR SHE COULD IF NOMURA GAVE HER ANY SCREENTIME AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT). she can kick so much ass (OR SHE COULD IF-). she drives me Insane. she missed a year of everybody adjusting to having bodies and becoming friends because she willingly chose to miss it to be asleep the whole time for the small chance of a hint of finding her best friend. she barely knows the two girls whose whole existences are practically defined by her. she may be a princess by blood??? as well as by plot. she spent a whole year not remembering one of her best friends even existed. she was kidnapped. she flirted with a girl in the middle of her kidnapping. she even later befriended her kidnapper. her favourite colour is pink and she looks incredible in it. destiny's embrace fuckign rules. her theme(s) slap(s). she writes letters that she almost never gets the chance to send and the time that she did it saved her best friends from being trapped in hell forever. if she doesn't get a major role in kh4 i am legally allowed to explode the square enix hq

day 1: your husband: miguel o'hara.

"mmm... mi amor, don't go..."

his gravelly voice begged of you as his sculpted, tan arms wrapped themselves around your waist. he buried his sharp nose in your hair as he took in the delicious scent of his spouse, the love of his life that he was so fortunate to have for... forever now. he kissed down your neck as he held you closer, pulling you towards his massive body and caging you in his tight, loving grasp. "mi vida... it's sábado, don't leave me alone in this big bed..." he murmured to you as he sneaked his hands under your top and roamed his palm all over your smaller, plush body.

from the moment he got to know you, the moment you flashed him your signature, beautiful smile and looked up at him in the eyes with so much friendliness and openness in those eyes of yours... he felt himself fall into the insanity and the calmness of loving yo; whether he realized it or not at the time he was yours the minute he felt his heart skip a beat at the sight of you.

miguel made it a point that he loved you, that he loved you from the top of your head to the tips of your toes; he loved you for your heart, your mind, your body, and just all of you. you make your husband go crazy with the smallest of things you do, and it's even better when you're oblivious to him being absolutely smitten with you. he had never thought he'd be the type to settle down and devote the rest of his life living quietly with someone as spectacular and worth loving, that someone being you.

he'd whimper silently into your ear when he's craving you and your love, when he's desperate and needs to be held and loved by you, the most perfect person to ever exist. he's a stern man who takes his responsibilities seriously, but he does lose his composure and all his restraint when you're out here being so lovable to him. "please don't go... i'll be lonely... the bed's so cold without you... you know i hate the cold..." he whines as you sigh and turn over on your side to face your husband. "it's cleaning day, miggy, i have to get up early."

miguel gave a long sigh and pulled you even closer to him with one hand. he kissed your forehead and grumbled. "i don't give a crap if it is, it's a rest day, mi vida; you need a rest from being away from me... i'm your husband for goodness' sake, and i'm tired of not being with you, so... por favor, mi amor? just a few more minutes in bed with me...?" he begged you like a child, pouting out his lower lip to try and make you feel sorry for him, but it instead made you giggle.

he chuckled lowly at your contagious giggling and brought his face closer to yours. "that's right, oh, i love it when you laugh... makes me forget all the shit i've had to deal with earlier this week." he mumbles as he pecks your lips gently and brings his hands up to either sides of your face, holding you close as he kisses you. "my precious spouse... i never wanna live another morning without you here." he mutters as he smiles at you, brushing away a stray lock of your hair and chuckles again, relishing the passing minutes with you close to him and in his hands, thanking his lucky stars that you became his one and only, and swears to you every day in his own ways that he will make you the happiest with him; for he's your husband, and he will always, always devote himself to you and love you unconditionally.

So, since Lunafreya is arguably somewhat a Naminé expy...

and Dawn of the Future was eventually going to give us Luna in a purple dress:

I wonder if that at all hints that we might get Naminé in purple someday. I've had the theory that we might, since Kairi isn't really using it anymore.

Then again, maybe she might be in the future:

Though to be honest, I don't know if Nomura was involved in the shirt and skirt choice that the model is wearing here for the Kairi part of the SuperGroupies Kingdom Hearts line (since they're not selling the shirt and skirt, I don't think). Though maybe he was.

And also... even if Kairi does start wearing purple again, that doesn't mean that Naminé can't wear it. Since for instance, both Donald and Riku wear blue:

And also, take all of this with a huge grain of salt, of course. Because we don't know how much of FFXV was Nomura's after he got kicked off the project. Or how much of Luna was Stella, if at all. (And also, I--and TV Tropes--could be dead wrong about the Luna and/or Stella being a Naminé expy thing. And even if she is, that doesn't necessarily mean it's going to at all hint at Nami's future wardrobe), I do think at least a few of Nomura's Versus and Stella ideas made the transition, maybe.

But still: grain of salt.
