This is my attempt at a rottmnt au!! it’s called Three Sided Coin, and the general premise is that in an attempt to save himself from being disintegrated: Future!Leo teleports himself to a dimension adjacent to earth but accidentally ends up dragging two of his past selves along with him.

basically, I just wanted an excuse to draw all three of them together :)

I’m v curious what the other turtles inner selves look like! (Mainly raph bc he’s my fav lol)

Well ok so normally inner selves would present like your idealized self. Like how splinters was him in his Lou Jitsu costume. This time is different because Leo’s mind is being attacked/fucked with, so she’s taken the form or a particularly influential memory (splinter telling leo not to wear a dress) cause it’s easier than trying to hold up his ideal self

That being said, here’s the memory-inner-selves of the other three boys if their minds were also under attack!

Raph: he’s got a broken arm. That memory is one of many moments that really cemented in his mind that he is a thing to be used as a shield and to be broken to prove a point. He doesn’t have eyes because he isnt a person. He’s a subhuman, possibly more like a machine, and his only purpose is to protect his family as well as he can. he is not a person who's emotions are worth thinking about.

Mikey: at first he seems the most normal and well adjusted of the inner people, but he quickly and easily bursts into furious flames. He’s short tempered, hard to deal with, and hard to look directly at when on fires. Being shepherded through his mind isn’t a fun time because he’s easily distracted and will often go on angry tangents about injustices.

Donnie: a crying kid with scars up and down his body that frequently open and bleed. a shackle around one leg. an amalgamation of a lot of bad memories, particularly the days after Abe assaulted him and the memory of being stuck in the corner, which was a sensory nightmare for him and fueled his fear of being held down/kept in place/restrained. He doesn’t have a face, just the hood he used to wear when he was younger. He also has trouble speaking and talks as little as possible unless you ask about one of his special interests or fixations.
