people don’t realise that the a-spectrums are basically a z axis to sexuality.
people still see sexuality as a scale but they need to understand there’s Depth! it’s 3D!!!
one axis for sexual attraction, one for romantic, but there’s an equally important axis to measure how MUCH of that romantic/sexual attraction is felt… that’s the a-spectrum
and it goes for Everyone.
‘oh i don’t really develop feelings towards someone until i know them really well’ BOO MF YOU’RE DEMIROMANTIC UP THE Z AXIS YOU GO!

Seeing "proship dni" (or the variety of rude variations that folks think are cute/clever *sigh*) in controversial communities, attached to dead dove content, or on selfship posts makes my head spin every damn time
my brother in christ, who else is gonna stick up for you? the antis? lol. lmao, even.

there’s absolutely nothing wrong with having previously identified with a lot of microlabels only to have realized those weren’t for you and only identifying as one or two things now, but if you list out all the microlabels you used to go by and have the punchline be “oh isn’t it CRAZY i identified as SO MANY things lol 🤪 i was so WEIRD and CRINGE back then 🤣” i am blowing you up with my mind

I love shows that take you on like. A mental health journey while you watch them. Like
Me: oh man I’m having trouble finding people to date that sucks :/
*watches first two seasons of crazy ex-girlfriend*
Me: I will be alone forever nobody will ever love me or be attracted to me I am in desperate need of therapy
*watches last two seasons of crazy ex-girlfriend*
Me: I am absolutely capable of finding romantic love but I don’t need it cause I’m worth so much more than who I date and happiness comes internal peace and not external validation

Miss seeing those really cool painted, illustrated paperback book covers. Most of what I see now is minimalistic or photoshop stuff. Or my least preferred, covers from movies. Which aren’t inherently bad, but it’s just not… fun for me. Like I’m talking, I’m wanting covers where the cover artist went OFF. Cheap paperbacks with some SOUL. I want to pick up that book and be sucked into the world with the cover. I want that artist signature in the corner. More illustrated covers!!

Hello, im wehaveagathering from my main blog, im kind of obsessed with your hockey poetry edits and I think your blog is great! I guess I kind of have a dumb question, where do you find the images you use for your edits? Did you say Getty in your tags?? I’ve gotten into making icons recently (and i have ideas for poetry edits hrrrghhh) but it’s hard to find high res images. Thanks for your time and I hope you have a nice day :)
first of all thank you so much 🥹 and second that’s absolutely not a dumb question!! i do pull a lot of images from getty and i’ll also download pictures from sports articles (i got a lot of the hugheses pictures from online access articles, for example), or sometimes from instagram/facebook/twitter if an account is public. freely admitting that i am not technologically advanced? inclined? in the slightest here, but the image editing software that you use and how you import/export photos with it makes a difference in the quality of them as well!
if you haven’t seen them yet, i would also recommend checking out @simmyfrobby @national-hockey-lesbian @hauntedppgpaints @tapedsleeves @starscelly and @captainbradmarchand’s blogs just off the top of my head!!! they might know more places to get high res images and also i love their work 💕🫶

anyway. am i allowed to say that yes aimsey is a good role player and they make really cool stories and i’m very excited for her being in purgatory, but i’ve always been kinda meh on them ever since they threw a little shitfit over the existence of bisexual lesbians a few months ago?? like it was kinda hypocritical that he was pissed over bisexual women who may also identify as lesbians, which is an identity that breaks the typical definitions of both of those labels, while also being nonbinary and a lesbian, which is also an identity that breaks the typical definition of both of those labels. ik it was a while ago, they did apologize and explain their reasoning, but it’s just left a bad taste in my mouth ever since
