every time i rewatch 5x14/15 i genuinely cannot believe that buddie didn't go canon in the episodes that followed. like what do you mean Eddie reached for Buck in his last moments of consiousness? what do you mean Buck begged Eddie to just breathe and wouldn't let anyone else work on him? what do you mean Eddies only thoughts after being shot were 'is Buck okay? is he hurt?'. what do you mean Buck was shaking and so insanely terrified of what was happening to Eddie and if he would live? what do you mean Buck had to go home and 'have the hardest job of them all' because he doesn't want anyone else telling this to Christopher? what do you mean he cried about Eddie being okay because until he recieved that message there was a pssibility that he (and Chris) would have to figure out how to live in a world without him? what do you mean Buck slept day and night on a couch for weeks so that Chris would stil have a sense of routine while his dad was recovering? LIKE WHAT DO YOU MEAMNNNNNN ?!?!?!?!? JUST FOR TJEM NOT TO BE BOYFRIENDS AND GET MARRIED ?!?!?!? GUYSSSS
