As Shaochung feels Lopmon is in danger, she climbs up a pillar, and her Digivice somehow takes her to Zhuqiaomon's palace. Throughout all this, Guardromon is watching her—and says/does absolutely nothing. Then, Hirokazu comes back to find that Shaochung had disappeared and Guardromon is standing there.

Shaochung: Lopmon? (Shaochung checks on her digivice and finds that Lopmon is in terrible danger.) Shaochung: Lopmon! No! (Shaochung wants to help Lopmon but she remembers her brother's warnings not to go into the palace. Then, Shaochung decides that she must do something by climbing up the pillar of the entrance. Guardromon just watches her curiously.) Shaochung: Lopmon, don't die! (Cue to her prayer, Shaochung's digivice glows and takes her to the palace, sending her flying.) Shaochung: Huh? What? (Guardromon watches Shaochung fly to the palace and stands there silently, doing nothing. Moments later, Hirokazu comes back to check on Guardromon and Shaochung.) Hirokazu: Hey, Guardromon! I just heard Jian's little sister's voice... (Hirokazu looks around and finds that Shaochung is missing.) Hirokazu: Where is she? Guardomon: She flew away. (Hearing his partner's words, Hirokazu reacts in disbelief.) Hirokazu: Flew away?! What's that about? Didn't I tell you to keep an eye on her? Guardromon: But I was looking at her. (Hirokazu stares at Guardromon and scratches his head in a mixture of shock, disappointment, frustration and disbelief). Hirokazu: That's not what I meant!

Recently I've gotten into enstars and this guy, Yuzuru, is nothing but a grown up Jenrya. The main difference is that Yuzuru has a sharper chin, but everytime I try to play a song, all I can see is a tall Jenrya.

He also has to look after a shorter and annoying pink-haired friend who he works as a butler for, which kinda reinforces that image as well.

We know that Digimon has tons of universes from anime to video games, so why stuck in one universe? Let’s do something like they did on Xros Wars.

What if little Shiuchon Lee got to meet Tomoki Himi on a playground? What if Takumi Aiba’s reporter mother actually work in the same news company with Takeru Takaishi’s mother?

How about taking a bigger leap and actually crossing to another fandom? A crossover between Digimon and Attack of Titan? Tamers’ Hogwarts House? Are you up for a mythology AU? Maybe Digimon as Game of Thrones’ quote? Or a battle between Apocalymon and Thanos to decide who’s the most badass in the whole world?

Get wild with your imagination! Cross over everything that holds you back!

If they were to do a Next Gen for Digimon focusing on the offspring of the previous heroes, they’d probably have most of the previous female heroes marry fellow digidestined and I’d be fine with this. However, there is one female Digi-hero to marry someone who is not a pre-established character, and that is Yoshino Fujieda (age-wise, she’s 1 of the more logical candidates to do so, along with Shiuchon Lee from Tamers). I want her to marry some sweet ordinary guy who didn’t have any connections to Digimon prior to marrying Yoshino.

As long as I’m discussing the idea of Yoshino getting married, I might as well share my one of OCs with you guys- Minoru Mori. He’s paramedic who’s very dedicated to saving lives. He has black hair and brown eyes and wears glasses. They met when a mutual friend set them up on a blind date.

The main reason I created him was for the Next Gen fic in my mind that I call Digimon 2030, and I wanted Yoshino to have a daughter (more on her later) and I didn’t really like the idea of her husband/baby-daddy being any of the pre-established Savers characters (not even the ones who canonically showed romantic interest in her).

You know, the way the families work in Tamers seems to also be reflected in the way they treat their partners.

Takato has very loving parents who spoil him, so he treats Guilmon very much the same at the beginning of the anime.

Shiuchon gets on Jenrya's nerves a lot, but they both love each other as siblings. We've seen Shiuchon being affectionate with Terriermon and thus annoy him to no ends. And while we haven't seen a lot of it, Jenrya seems to give the same responsible older-brother treatment towards Lopmon if the Locomon movie is any indication.

Ruki's family has some hiccups, but over the course of the series they get better. She originally treats Renamon like distant co-worker, but eventually her close relationship with Renamon pushes her to open up to her mom as well. It's a reverse situation to the other two, but it kinda counts I guess.

So does this mean Ai and Makoto's parents are arguing for custody? Who knows, right?

Ryo keeping Cyberdramon on a leash is... you know what, his dad might just do it so he won't disappear again.

As for Juri...

...

...now, I don't wanna say the way Juri treats Leomon like a potential husband is reflective of her family life. Her family isn't that messed up (⁠￣⁠ヘ⁠￣⁠;⁠)

But it's worth noting that originally before production Juri was supposed to be a girl called Mishio who lives with her parents in the red light district.

That aside, during the Locomon movie, we can see Juri wiping cake away from Culumon's cheek in a very motherly way. Because this is after the anime, if we assume her relationship with her dad and especially her stepmom has gotten better, this fits well into this little no-basis headcanon of ours (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)

I never noticed how different the Tamers' skin complexion was

Takato is tan and Jenrya a bit yellowish, sometimes tanner and paler than Takato in different promotional arts. Meanwhile Ruki just sits there like she's the Japanese Snow White.
