when i was still active in the roleplay community, i had this silly wish of getting a bundle (or a zine, whatever you name it) of fics from my friends about my OCs for my birthday. i never got one, but this is something more or less i wished for. i'm one month late, but that doesn't mean i'm being an ungrateful person. the moment sam gave me this, i was crying on my bed lmao.

good morning and good night for everyone, i hope you're doing well 👋

just a few weeks after digiweek ended, the place where i'm working was announcing the plan for restructuring. as a result, team members are moving to another team and some will resign soon. fortunately, i won't be impacted personally, but now there are only 2 persons left in the team, hence more workload but no increase in salary lol.

i still think i made a good decision to resign from the previous company because people are still resigning and heard that it's getting more and more chaotic. seems like i dodged a bullet, although i feel like transferring to another hardcore battlefield.

thanks for sticking around and apologies for the m.i.a. from twitter, tumblr, and/or discord. and also, as serious as this will sound, i hope you are not impacted heavily by the remnants of the pandemic and the global recession.

[chapter 3] the sinensis affair

so this chapter was published on august 31st but i then remembered it was takari week, so i postponed this post a little bit. this should finished back on july, even i planned to have this as digiweek day 5 submission, but the work has been busy. shoutout to @themistymermaid and her reviews because i honestly thought this will be self-indulgence lmao.

It was a regular Sunday morning for Koushiro, even though he only woke up at 9, which was quite late from his usual time. It could be easily justified, though, as he was attending a wedding last night. Despite the fact that he did not take any glass of liquor, the event was still exhausting for an introvert like him—especially with an overly extroverted person like Shiuchon clinging on his tail.

With his eyes half-closed, Koushiro tidied his bed and headed to the toilet in autopilot mode. A flush, then he got out before yelping so loud, eyes now fully opened finding a young woman in the kitchen casually boiling some water.

She was startled by his reaction. "Are you okay?"

He totally forgot that Hikari was staying with him.

Did he close the bathroom door earlier?

★Fanfiction Writer’s Appreciation Day★

◎Currently reading:

⇢Smells like Teen Spirit by @zadien : Honestly there won’t be a time when I’m not reading this fic haha, I just LOVE the TyHil interactions in this one and I always keep going back to read them. But I also really enjoy the fact that there are so many characters which leads to rare dynamics and ships, and a lot of drama which is so entertaining to read. I always end up with a new perspective for the series characters whenever I read through this fic because it is just that rich in development.

⇢The Sinensis Affair by @earlgreymon: I just love the heartbroken character goes on a journey far from home trope, and this fic just has the perfect setting for this. I’m also a big fan of characters breaking out of the shell that the canon or fanon has assigned to them, and here we have bad boy Takeru which I adore and Koushiro and Hikari navigating their lives far away from home and familiarity. Also the traditional proverbs and the superstition easter eggs that are scattered through the fic which keeps you on the edge the entire team you’re reading.

❤︎ Teacher’s Revenge and Loose Lips by @redwheeler - these fics are like my TyHil bible, I have to keep reading them every few months to feel alive. Call me crazy but I can actually recite dialogues from these two fics and I’m so grateful that they were written.

❤︎ Phantom by PinkFalcon - this fic has been incomplete for years but that doesn’t stop me from re-reading it because it’s just that good and a pokeshipping dream come true for me. I think I’ve rec’d this fic a billion times already but here it is again.

❤︎ Senior Year by Bittersweet Romanticide - The only HS X Anipoke fic that I still truly adore, Misty’s characterisation in this fic was truly a gem and I always go back to read this one when I’m seriously feeling low on Misty Motivation.

My Fanfic writers appreciation 2022

By now I think most of you following me and reading this know I write fanfictions, but although I am a fanfic writer, I am a really bad fanfic reader... Especially because I'm a veeeeery s l o w r e a d e r . . . :')

But since it's this special day, Fanfiction writers appreciation day, I decided to try to better my life in the upcoming time and start reading more fanfictions. It's stupid I haven't done that sooner, because there's a reason why I came back to fandom and writing: Wonderful fanfics written by amazing writers!

So this post is dedicated to those four fanfics and their fanfic authors that have (unknowingly) gotten my ass back in here <3

Not Quite Perfect by Most Everyone's Madd Here This fic dates from 2012 and is an older Taiora focused fic (with Mimato in the back). Back in the day, this was one of THE Taiora fics and it has always been one of my faves ever since. The author I don't know... But I want to thank them for giving me a fic to go back to (: -Rated M for sexual stuff...!

Paradigm Shift by Squit Ayumin (@squitayumin) This Taito friendship/Taiora romance/Yamato x Mimi or OC fic and author doesn't need explanations tbh... If you know, you know! This is the writer I get my inspiration from, she is that good with words. That's all. Go read it.

Colors in Autumn by NoctIsFishing (@noctisfishing) Julia stole my heart with her way of writing, her characterizations and this overall incredible fanfic. There are bits that I can read over and over again. I absolutely adore it, just as much as I adore you Juuls! I hope you're doing well, I truly miss interacting with you <3 (also rated M for sexual stuff... it's a pattern)

No Strings Attached by ayushi (@themistymermaid) I have no idea if you know this, but this little fanfic of yours (that's sadly on hold, but I understand and support you!) reaaaaally got me super excited for writing again! The way your sentences flow and how you work towards conclusions is something I admire in your writing a lot, you really have me hooked and that's truly amazing!

taichi was a senior/on his final year of uni in kizuna. assuming that:

1. japanese academic year starts (mostly) at spring

2. it requires 4 whole years to graduate on time

3. kizuna was set in july 2010

4. taichi just turned his thesis topic right after losing agumon

5. kizuna ended in spring (should be 2011 then)

6. kizuna credit title was in autumn, and can be assumed that it was taichi's graduation due to the nice outfit

...does that mean taichi added another semester to his study to finish his thesis, because he should have graduated in spring 2011 if he was on time? 🤔

(i like to think that he's on time with his study, and that credit title was just him doing job hunting or /actually/ going to the office looking dandy, yay)
