Another day, another dollar. Funny how things change. The job interview for instance, the awkwardness, fumbling through, hoping the impression left was good if not adequate. Tense Reunions - Junho (2pm) Imagine

Requested by henry-anon: can I request an expansion of Junho's entry from the 2PM breakup scenario that centers around the argument he has with his S/O when they reunite? Thank you.

Word Count: 974 words

The tension floating in the living room seemed impossible to cut. Not even a chainsaw would be able to chip away at it. Junho sat as far away from you on the couch as he could. He hadn’t said a single word to you since you’d arrived over two hours ago. He hadn’t offered you anything to drink or eat, as one normally would to any guest. He had simply let you in and then gone to sit on the couch ignoring your existence as he stared at the wall in front him. His cats had been paying you more attention than he was. But you couldn’t blame him for his reaction, not when you were the root behind it in the first place.

You had left the country after breaking up with him with little to no explanation or way to contact you. In your defense, you’d hoped your decision would spare him the anxiety and worry of not knowing if you would wake up alive or be on your way home in some wooden box for your funeral. But even that was a pathetic excuse, and you knew that very well. There were many ways you could’ve handled your assignment and breaking the news to him. Many ways that wouldn’t have resulted in the two of you sitting in his living room avoiding each other’s glances. You simply took the cop out, the easiest one that required the least amount of effort and consequence on your end - or so you thought. You weren’t entirely sure what reaction you were expecting from him when you’d arrived, but you weren’t expecting the air to be thick with as much negativity as it was.

“So are you going to tell me why you’re here or are you just going to sit there?” he asked, avoiding looking at you.

“I know (y/f/n) told you why I broke up with you,” you began. “Honestly I don’t know-”

“You don’t know why you did that instead of being honest with me? You don’t know why you didn’t take into consideration that I could’ve been understanding of the situation, that I could have supported you? That I would’ve been more than willing to stay by your side, abit in a different country, and have done anything in my power to make sure you had what you needed? What don’t you know (y/n)?”

His sudden outburst caught you off guard, making the breath catch in your throat as you listened to everything he said. Under any other circumstances, Junho would’ve let you continue without interruption until you were finished speaking, and if he did interrupt it would’ve been in a calm and collected manner. Neither of you would get as fired up as you were within the first 30 seconds of a discussion.

“Look I’m sorry I made a mistake! I thought it was the right decision at the time and I know it wasn’t. I just want to-”

“Spare me! I know that! But that doesn’t explain why you’re here. You broke up with me without giving me any sort of an explanation as to why. I was in pain - I am in pain - and you put me here!”

“Junho,” you cracked, moving closer to him on the couch, hand reaching out to take his, only for him to pull away as he stood up and walked away from you. “Junho, you have every right to be angry and upset with me. I was wrong and because of my decision I know I have ruined everything we have - had. But I never meant- I didn’t want to hurt the way I did. I wanted to keep you safe. To prevent you from having to live here not knowing if I would be coming back alive or in some box or not coming back at all! I didn’t want you to be fixated on me, I wanted you to live!”

Back and forth the two of you went, cutting each other off and not truly listening or validating the other’s feelings. With each phrase said, your voices grew louder, as if being louder would make your point more logical and correct than the other, and before long you were both yelling over one another, standing only a few centimeters away from each other. Noses almost brushing against one another. The two of you went silent as you noticed the close proximity to which you’d grown to.

“I just want you to know that I’m sorry,” you finally whispered. “I took the cop out and it was wrong of me to do that without taking you, my boyfriend, into consideration.”

“We could’ve made it work,” he choked out. “I would’ve made it work.”

Neither of you said a word as you stood before one another in silence again.

“I hope that one day you’ll be able to forgive me,” you said, a lump forming in the back of your throat. “I know it’s a lot to ask after everything but I don’t want to lose you or for you to hate me.”

“I could never hate you. Even if I wanted to, I could never.” His forehead pressed against yours for a brief moment before he pulled away, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly. “I love you and I always will. I want you to know that (y/n).”

“I love you too.”

As you took a step back moving to leave his home, he grabbed your wrist stopping you from getting more than a few steps away.

“Maybe we can talk some more once we’ve cooled down a little bit and aren’t wanting to bite each other’s heads off.”

You sent him a soft smile, “I’d like that.”

“I’ll see you around then. Hopefully sooner rather than later.”

“Yeah,” you agreed. “See you around.”

I looked out to see that we have already arrived at the court.

"Jagiya, we should get going. Its almost time." I heard a voice beside me.

Late Night Cuddles ~ Lee Junho

Your footsteps were sloppy as you walked through the apartment, noticing Junho laid out on the sofa. He could barely keep his eyes awake as he looked across to finally see you walking in, smiling weakly as he placed his phone down beside him on the sofa.

You had no recollection of how late it was, as you slipped your shoes off, noticing Junho sitting himself up slowly, stretching his legs out from the many hours he’d spent on the sofa.

Just as he sat up, you sat down, letting go of a heavy groan as soon as you felt yourself hit the comfort of the sofa cushion. To say you were knackered was an understatement, your body felt as if it was running on empty, which Junho quickly realised.

Yet another late shift, and yet another late arrival back home.

Tonight, seemed different as he studied you though, watching as your hands nervously ran through your hair, shaking from the lack of energy that you seemed to have.

Watching you broke Junho’s heart, he’d watched you come home several times over the past few weeks, but this one finally seemed to be the one that broke you as he wrapped his arms around your frame and pulled you down to lay across the sofa.

“I’m sorry that I kept you waiting,” you told him as Junho laid your head down to rest against his chest, running his hand along your arm.

His head shook back across to you, he was prepared to wait up all night long if he needed to, to make sure that you were safe. Even if you didn’t want to talk, which seemed to happen most nights, he would still be there for you.

“You don’t need to apologise,” Junho assured you in a calming whisper, “I know that you’ve had a hectic few days, you were needed at work, and that’s alright.”

More than anything you didn’t want to be needed at work, you wanted to be left alone and allowed to leave work at a reasonable time. You wanted to be able to come home and talk to Junho rather than immediately bail on him for bed.

For some reason though, he seemed to understand. He didn’t get angry or frustrated at the lack of time that he seemed to have for you, instead he just took care of you like he always did and made sure that you were looked after for the limited time that you had at home.

“I’m sorry that we’re having to be like this right now,” you whispered across to Junho.

As you tilted your head back, he brought his down to be able to meet your tired eyes. He didn’t want to listen to you apologise, and he definitely didn’t want for you to feel bad about what was happening, it was out of your control, which Junho understood.

“You shouldn’t have to stay up until one or two in the morning to look after me,” you told Junho as he tightened his arm around your frame, “you need to go to bed at a good time too, I’m not the only one that works.”

A soft kiss was pressed to the top of your head so that Junho could silence you momentarily. “I always have time for you, even if it’s two in the morning. There’s no way that I could leave you alone right now.”

You smiled anxiously back across at him, “you should be asleep though, you said earlier that you were starting to shoot today, that must have been exhausted.”

Whilst admittedly, the shoot for his new drama had taken it out on Junho for the day, he knew that he wouldn’t be able to sleep without having you home anyway. However long he’d have to wait, he’d do it, just to see your face.

“I’m not the priority right now Y/N, you are.”

“I shouldn’t be your priority this late.”

“You’re always my priority,” Junho assured you, continuing to keep the encouraging smile on his face. “It’s obvious how exhausted you are, even if you keep wanting to pretend that you’re fine. I know you feel like you’re burdening me, but you’re not, I promise you. I want for you to be alright, that’s the only thing that matters to me.”

Your head nodded as Junho spoke, as ever there was a clear sincerity in his voice that meant you absolutely believed every word that he said to you.

His hold on you was strong too, cuddling up to you tightly to make sure that you knew that you weren’t alone. He always seemed to have the right answers when it came to looking after you, even at such a terrible hour of the day.

“I’m so tired,” you whispered across to Junho, “what did I do to end up like this?”

“You didn’t do anything,” Junho smiled, struggling to know what the best thing to say was.

As much as he knew that you were working late because the people at work trusted you and knew you were capable, seeing that being to wear you down suddenly flipped everything around for Junho, he didn’t want to see you tire.

“Why don’t we head up to bed soon so you can get some sleep?” Junho asked you, “I’ll even carry you up if you’re tired, as long as you stay on cat watch for me.”

“That was pretty funny when you tripped over one of them last week.”

His head shook back across at you, with a tinge of pain still in his back from where Johnny had tripped him as he sleepily made his way up the stairs.

“You can walk up,” Junho joked as he slowly tried to sit you up, keeping his arms around your frame to make standing up with you in his hold much easier. “The sooner you get to bed the better, otherwise you’ll crash on the sofa.”

Your head nodded in agreement with him as you stayed clinging to Junho, not wanting for any distance to get between the two of you.

“I hate seeing you so tired,” Junho hummed as he stood up, carrying you still in his hold with your legs wrapped around his waist. “I wish that sometimes they would go easier on you, take better care of you.”

“Luckily for me I get to come home and be taken care of by you though,” you whispered, pressing a kiss to Junho’s cheek, “even if no one else in the world looks after me, I know that I can always count on you to be there for me.”

“Absolutely, no matter the time, the place, or anything else,” he promised.

Your head nodded back to Junho, knowing that he would be there for all of those situations, always making time for you as he promised time and time again.

“We’ll get you wrapped up nice and cosy in no time,” Junho promised you as he got you up the stairs and into your bedroom, slowly opening the door into the room and placing you down on the bed carefully to stretch out.

“I’ve missed this place so much; our bed is the best.”

A chuckle came from Junho as for once you seemed comfortable again. The weight of the world lifted as soon as you curled up in bed, waiting for Junho to slide under the duvet and cuddle himself up to you again.

“Our bed, with the two of us is my favourite place too.”

Remembering her initial introduction to Lee Junho, I was gushing, fangirling, I am supposed to be a professional.

How embarrassing.

He was nice, amused even, guess he's used to it.

He looks pretty fine, though, she grins.

Following him in her vehicle, the other staff do the same.

She vows to herself, to be professional from this moment.

Usually SF9 blasts through the car speakers but in lieu of today she decides 2PM.

Junho makes an exit, Rose and the other staff follow suit.

"Hungry, got a craving for steamed buns" he explains walking towards the premises.

Junho exits the bakery with a friend.

"What the fuck is he doing here?"

She exclaims under her breath.

Junho explains he ran into Jeonghan and he kindly offered to join the Vlog.

'Shit Shit' she mutters.

Junho introduces Jeonghan to the staff, when he turns to Rose.

"Hello Kitty, imagine seeing you here" Catnip man smiles.

"Oh you know each other? Great!"Junho smiles.

Be professional, you're a professional, Rose tells herself "yes" she replies with a tight smile.

"Rose, should ride with us, don't you agree hyung?"Jeonghan states.

"Yeah sure why not"

"My car" she blurts out.

"We can pick it up later, kitty".

Mumbling "sure"

Rose hops in the backseat Jeonghan joins her.

'Odd thought he would sit up front' Junho thinks to himself.

Junho turns the camera back on and makes intros and greetings explaining how the current situation came to pass.

"Hot hot hot!" Junho yelps as he is videoing the buns tossing them to and fro between his hands.

"Kitty, help my hyung!"

Rose grabs the steaming hot buns, and breaks them apart, swearing under her breath as she burns her fingertips.

"No need, but thank you" an awkward Junho states before biting into the bun.

"Are you okay kitty? Let me see!"

Jeonghan blows on her fingertips, his eyes never leaving her face, then he gently puts her fingers in his mouth.

"OMG will you stop!" Says a very embarrassed Rose.

Junho, staring through his rear view mirror, "well let's get going".

Junho while driving continues his Vlog, 'such a nice guy' she thinks to herself.

Jeonghan randomly talks to the camera but mostly he plays with his kitty's hair.

Rose slides herself further away from him till she is slammed against the door frame.

Slapping his hands away as if he is a pesky fly.

'Be professional, you're a professional'

Junho, for his part, carries on, a true professional.

Finally the vehicle stops.

Rose all but falls out of the car when the door is opened.

Junho explains, he loves nature.

So a walk is the order of the day as he grabs his new camera, time to take some shots.

"Bugs. Insects" Junho says loudly.

"Kitty, why aren't you helping my hyung!"

Totally confused as to what she is supposed to do, she tries to swish the insects away.

"No no no!" As he walks towards her, "like this".

Catnip man has his hands all over Rose, chasing off real and imagined insects.

Insects forgotten Junho watches the Catnip man at work.

"Will you stop!," his Kitty tells him in a very low disgruntled tone.

The spectacle he is causing is gaining attention.

"Please stop".

"Let's go" Junho inputs as he walks away.

Junho spots some gorgeous flowers and stops to take photos.

Jeonghan picks one, "kitty take my photo" as he places the flower between his teeth.

Click click click.

Handing Rose the flower, "for you my love".

Rose inspects the chewed stem, covered with salvia.

"Thanks".

"Do you hear that?," an excited Junho takes off following the sound.

A stream, beautifully situated with the backdrop of trees and green foliage.

Junho at once takes video and still shots.

"I take lousy selfies," he utters.

Jeonghan starts walking along the rock path within the stream.

"Kitty come on, this is cool"

Junho looks at her expecting her to join Jeonghan.

'Professional your a professional'

She does as she is directed.

Catnip man takes hold of her hand, struggling to free her hand she slips on a rock landing butt first into the stream.

A stunned silence followed by boisterous laughter.

Rose is not laughing.

Offering an outstretched hand, which is totally ignored, a chagrined Jeonghan explains "It's a nice day, you will dry off quickly, don't be a sour puss".

Back in the vehicle, Junho tells them the next stop is the grocery store.

As Junho fills the shopping cart with goodies, and finally decides on beef.

Jeonghan adds pasta and other items he warrants are a must.

Next stop as Junho explains is the rental in which he is spending the night.

Catnip man looks at Rose, he winks, " let's get a room!".

Totally ignoring him at this point they arrive at the rental.

"How did I get stuck cooking?"

From time to time Junho takes the tongs and videos himself cooking then returns the tongs to her.

"Let me help" offers Jeonghan as he stands behind her, one hand on her waist the other tossing the beef over the flames grill.

"Keep still, unless of course you want to get burned" he whispers.

"I think of more enjoyable ways to heat things up" he murmurs sensuously.

Finally the food is cooked. The meal prepared.

Time to eat.

"What's that?" As Jeonghan wipes Rose's mouth.

"I missed a bit"

Lips meet lips.

"I got it" he winks at surprised Rose.

The Vlog shoot is done. Time to wrap up and go home.

"Kitty let's get a room, I'm your Catnip your my kitty, I'm in the mood for sexual gymnastics"

as his hand squeezes her butt cheeks.

On meeting YoonA and Junho on the set "As a student who grows up listening to 2PM and SNSD songs, I was amazed at first. It was amazing to see people I saw on TV in person, but it was even more amazing to be acting together from such a close distance of less than 1 meter" "I was also curious about how Lim YoonA sunbaenim, whom I had seen in the movies 'Exit' & 'Confidential Assignment', would be like in 'King the Land'. But we have different settings, and our scenes don't overlap much, but when we were filming scenes of the six siblings, I looked at her and thought, "It’s the same as Cheon Sarang (with angel)”

On YoonA & Junho’s chemistry and ‘King The Land’ achievements “Lee Junho & Lim YoonA sunbaenim have great chemistry. It was such a great romantic performance even for me. I thought that I could trust and be together. Just like what you see from the making videos, Lee Junho and Lim YoonA sunbaenim matched well on the set too. As expected, when it comes to romcom, the people who are playing are very important.

Some pointed out that KTL is full of clichés, but it received great love and was a global hit, with 13.8% of viewership & no. 1 global ranking. To this, Kim Jae Won said. "Lee Junho and Lim YoonA sunbaenim did a great job. I think they saved it. There is no need to say more on their chemistry.”

On YoonA & Junho’s dating rumour Lee Junho and Lim YoonA’s perfect teamwork also sparked rumour of them dating. Kim Jae Won said, “The chemistry was even better than what was shown in the drama. Rather, our relationship was so great to the extent that they have to be cut out as we were having too many ad-libs. The chat room was noisy throughout the broadcast, and we gathered together to watch the first broadcast. We all went to watch Seha hyung’s performance. We talk a lot while encouraging one another. We will continue to maintain our strong relationship.”

During the Thailand trip, which serves as an opportunity for the formation of the six siblings in the drama, the actual actors also formed an even deeper friendship. Kim Jae Won said, “Doesn’t it feel great to meet Koreans in foreign countries? Since we went and filmed together, you can imagine how much we relied on one another. Even though it was after the Thailand trip that a deeper bond was formed, but we also went on a MT together before filming started. The director was considerate towards the actors so that we were able to get close and play together naturally. Thanks to that, the seniors treated me like their younger brother from the first meeting.”

Free Time With You ~ Lee Junho

As yet another groan came from Junho you couldn’t help but chuckle, looking across the room as he spun the two panels around to try and figure out how they fitted together. He had no luck at all, getting himself worked up as he tried his best to keep up with you building alongside him.

You had been looking froward to getting a new shelving unit in your room for weeks, and after finally deciding to put a night aside to build it, Junho was more than happy to help.

“You don’t have to help me, I know that this isn’t really your thing,” you told him, stepping over the different pieces that were on the floor to take a look at what he was doing.

“How hard can this be?” Junho frowned as you picked up the instructions and read through them, trying to figure out where he was going wrong.

After looking through for a moment, you noticed that Junho had one of the screws missing. “You know the instructions are pretty easy to follow if you pay attention.”

A sigh came from Junho as you fixed his mistake, finally getting what he was working on looking the same as it was supposed to look in the guide that came in the box.

Slowly things were coming together for your shelf, mainly thanks to you. You appreciated how much Junho wanted to help, but you knew that his expertise were better suited elsewhere and definitely not with building things.

“Come on,” you tried your best to encourage him, “the next bit is putting it all together to one.”

His head reluctantly nodded as you moved the different pieces into the room to start fitting them together. It didn’t take long for your eyes to work out where everything needed to be, just needing to fit them in properly to place.

“Can you pass me the screwdriver to put these in?” You asked Junho, placing the side against the back frame of the shelf, holding your hand out to take the tool.

“Here,” Junho smiled, placing the tool in your hand, only for your eyes to narrow back at him.

You looked to him almost in disbelief as you felt the chisel be placed into your hand, passing it back across to him as soon as Junho realised the mistake that he made.

“If you don’t want to be here, it really is alright Junho.”

“No way, I want to stay here and help you finish what it is that you’re building Y/N.”

Your smile was weak back across at Junho, although he tried his best to seem enthusiastic, you knew that he was far from it. Very little made sense to him, and his smile was fading the more that he kept messing up for you.

Junho passed over again, getting it right the second time around. “This is right, isn’t it?”

“That’s the one that I’m after.”

You quickly screwed the nails in to be able to start putting the shelving together, Junho stood back and watched you, studying you in awe at how quickly you moved.

“You’re too good at this,” Junho mumbled.

“Most of my room comes from IKEA, that’s why it’s easy,” you chuckled, “you know IKEA is fun no matter how many times you argue otherwise whilst building this.”

Junho’s head nodded as you moved round to the other side, “I think the looking round IKEA is fun, but the building part is just annoying.”

“It’s just about getting the hang of it,” you tried your best to assure Junho. “Building isn’t everyone’s thing, just like the fact that I can’t sing the way that you can.”

Junho smiled appreciatively as you tried your best to make him feel better. Despite no longer helping you, he still stayed in the room and watched you, not wanting to head back downstairs and spend any time with himself.

“Are you sure there’s nothing more to this?” You asked Junho, noticing his eyes suddenly trailing off from you as he sat down on your bed.

His head shook as you placed what you were doing down and made your way across the room to sit down beside him. You nudged against Junho’s side to get his attention, offering him a smile to reassure him that he didn’t need to worry about a thing.

“Has something happened?” You asked Junho, placing your hand over his, “you’ve seemed a little off all evening whilst we’ve been building.”

“You’ll think it’s silly,” Junho told you, only for your shoulders to shrug back at him.

Slowly he began to tell you how he didn’t want to be by himself, how he wanted to be with you even though he had no interest in what it was that you were doing. He didn’t care about being no help or the fact that he was just sat there and watching you, the fact that you were there was the only thing important to Junho.

“I just want to spend my free time with you, doing anything, is what I’m trying to say,” he concluded.

“Now I feel bad for doing this during your free time.”

Junho’s head quickly shook back at you, “please don’t feel bad, I’m enjoying watching you do this because I know it’s something that you’ve been looking forward, the fact that I’ve been little help doesn’t matter to me.”

You smiled weakly back across at Junho, “how many other times have you pretended to be interested in things just to not be alone without me?”

“Do you remember that reality series you watched the other day?” He asked you, “I hated it so much, I only humoured it because it put a smile on your face.”

Your eyes widened as you remembered exactly what Junho was on about. “I really thought you liked that, you are such a good actor it’s unfair.”

“I can pretend to smile a lot better than you anyone thinks I can,” Junho chuckled, “but most of the time I promise that I’m enjoying whatever we’re doing.”

“Maybe we could dedicate a few days to doing things that we both enjoy,” you suggested. “Maybe one day a week we do something I like, and one day a week we do something you like too, even if we’re not interested, we do it for the other person.”

Junho found himself nodding at your suggestion almost straight away, it seemed like the perfect way to still spend time together. It seemed like the perfect way for him to get what he wanted which was the most important thing to him.

“There’s not much that I do that you don’t like,” Junho reminded you, “unless you’re a surprisingly good actress too and hide it well.”

Your head shook back at Junho, “most of the time you want to spend your evenings with the cats, who could ever say no to that?”

“What about if I suggested working out more in the evenings?” Junho suggested, sniggering as your expression quickly shifted. “We’ve got the gym upstairs, we could work out and relax at the end of a long day together.”

“I think you’ve finally found the thing that I’m going to have to pretend to enjoy,” you quickly told Junho, “that definitely isn’t the one for me.”

“I’ll think of something else,” he assured you, “I find it much better to work out in the mornings anyway rather than at night.”

Your smile quickly returned again, “I was kind of hoping that you would say that to me.”

“I’ll think of something though, I always do.”

Extraordinary Attorney Woo. 이상한 변호사 우영우. 8/10

I would recommend this drama to my friends. I would rewatch this drama.

I love all the familiar faces from Hospital Playlist, Yumi's Cells, Vincenzo, Big Mouth, Hometown Cha Cha, etc. Lee Bong Ryun was casted perfectly for her character. I love the illustrations at the end of each episode. I love Geurami's smirk when Junho asks about Young Woo for the first time. I love Su Yeon's reaction to being called Spring Sunshine. I also love Young Woo for observing the kind acts done for her like that. I love how Su Yeon develops in her care for Young Woo. Such a tough love deep care. The meeting room view is beautiful. omg the girls who support girls vibe in the gender discrimination trial. I love it.

LMaoo at one of the moms of the kidnapped children thinking about their kid wanting to go to law school. How real. Lmao at Jun ho's reaction to Young Woo's confessions. Lmao at Young Woo understanding dad jokes. Lmao at Young Woo mentioning her kissing troubles in the elevator. Young Woo and her dad first discussing kissing is so amusing to me.

Young Woo and Jun Ho's soft moments together make my heart flutter.

It saddened me to see the hakwon students getting the convenience store food and so late.

Wow the recap at the end shows me how much has happened. It is amazing that when Young Woo went off about aquariums being bad, Junho just immediately said that he didn't know, instead of getting defensive.

Kim Hierora is pretty. Ha Yoon Kyung has always been pretty. Young Woo is so cute for being herself. Her mannerisms are so cute to me. Hwa Yeong is like Shin Se Kyung and Lee Yeon Hee look vibes. Jung Suk Yong, Kang Ki Young, and Lee Sang Yi give me similar vibes.

This drama makes me quite emotional in terms of empathy. Your child has never spoken but all of a sudden, she memorized law. Imagine how that must feel for the dad. Young Woo calming down with whale sounds on the train is represented so well to relieve even my anxiety. Geurami rebelling in school is actually way more badass than how I see Americans rebelling. Min Woo and Su Yeon arguing over the treatment of Woo Young is interesting because they have valid arguments. It's amusing to have Young Woo's whale sound hearing to be like a That's so Raven moment. The constant undermining, being overlooked, and abuse are themes I understand. Another job Young Woo can have is a quiz show host.

When it's mentioned that Young Woo is really smart in some aspects and not in others, it's interesting that we even have to categorize it like that. She's smart to an extreme with the law, so it makes her stand out while in other ways, she stands out to the other extreme for not being capable. If we lessen the extreme, every person is like that. Good and bad at things. Why should the other characters feel the conflict of wanting to help her or not?
