Have you ever reacted badly to something and when the moments over, felt awful about it? If so, what do you do to make yourself feel better when it can't be fixed?
OH MY GOSH I'M SO SORRY I THOUGHT I ANSWERED THIS ALREADY!
Okay yeah, I'll be honest, Anon, there have been times where I've lost my cool over something and lashed out about it and immediately regretted it. For sure. It's definitely not a great feeling to live with.
The first thing I do is I give myself space. As soon as possible. If I'm angry enough to react badly and lash out like that, then I need time to cool down and to process what happened.
I have to remind myself that no matter what the issue was, whether I was in the right or in the wrong originally, reacting like I did wasn't the right thing to do, and I definitely should apologize for that. It's not the right way to handle things; in fact it only makes things worse. So regardless of anything else, I need and should apologize for that.
So after I've cooled down and I realize my mistake, I go find that other person that was involved in the moment in question, and I apologize to them for reacting the way I did. And I mean it.
If the other person is pissed about my behavior, then okay. That's kinda fair, and they need time to get over that. If everything isn't fixed yet because of that, it's not the end of the world. That person needs time and space like I did, and hopefully, they'll come around and accept my apology. Then hopefully we can talk about what all went down and why it went down that way.
If it can't be fixed, then I have to evaluate what happened and what I could have done differently. I have to look at the situation and learn from it. That's one of the best things I can do in that situation. Learn from it, forgive myself over it, and then let it go. I can't dwell on it, or it's only going to drag me down. Easier said than done, I know, but that's the reality of things.
And if I have opportunities to help me get back into the good graces of whoever was affected by my behavior, then I take them. I'm not saying go suck up and kiss ass, but I am saying be a little extra kind and considerate of those people. There is a difference, and that difference is your attitude and motive for doing it. That kind of thing really can go far.
Anything beyond that, I let myself do things that have been proven to cheer me up. Moping and being sad for longer than necessary isn't going to do you or anyone else any good. I grieve my mistake and then try to let it go.
I hope this helps, Anon. Good luck. And I am so so so SO sorry for the late reply.

Thursday Motivation: Rising Stronger After Every Fall
Written by Delvin Welcome to the Thursday Motivational blog post! Today, we draw inspiration from the wise words of Nelson Mandela, who reminds us that true greatness lies not in avoiding failure, but in our ability to rise up each time we stumble and fall. Life is a journey filled with ups and downs, and it is through our resilience and determination that we can achieve remarkable things. So,…

Writer advice #2
I was talking to a friend, who enjoys drawing, and I asked if they have drawn anything, they answered that they haven't because they believe the drawing won't look good, and it stops them. To which I asked them: why does it have to look good? Art, specially art regarding drawing and painting, have the advantage of being as abstract as one's wishes. Sure, maybe people won't get it, but do you want to? Especially since they aren't drawing for anyone.
They answered me that is because they want it to be perfect, since the people surrounding them pressure for perfection.
I think this is an experience that most people have gone through regarding something in their life, I will do it until I know for sure I will succeed first try.
I had gone through it, and I am tired that this has stopped me from writing. Regarding talents that you were born with or not, those can disappear since we don't practice. You can't expect to achieve this idealistic perfection if you don't allow yourselves to make the mistakes to achieve it. To find your strengths, idols, weaknesses, inspirations, mistakes, what you love and what to stay away from, until you find yourself.
But I want to be the next Shakespeare, and that guy was a master at his craft. Probably because he was a man with literally nothing better to do than to write. Consistency and discipline are the keys to those talents.
Furthermore, I want this to be very clear as you are writing, or creating any art form like my friend, nobody has to see your craft if you don't want to. It doesn't have to satisfied nobody else but you, who says that for you to master writing, cooking, or programming you have to publish or sell your talents? You are allowed to have hobbies.
Masters of the arts like Shakespeare, Miguel de Cervantes, Sor Juana, Margaret Keane, Meryl Streep and other artists love their craft because they found love and passion on their own style. So please, practice not to be the best, but to fall in love with yourself in those words, sketches and "bad" works. That's just your beginning.

So basically I have this memories along time ago,I don't really remember my age at that time but it a ermmm...sad memories.
It all start like my family were going somewhere(I don't really remember where they go)so I'm all alone at home with my grandma. If you didn't know my grandma will be they taking care of me or my little brother when my parents are out.Usually, they left us when they go to a store or somewhere far and at that time we were little so they left home since we are little kid and you know..problem maker.Back to the story,I was in my room playing with this leash I found.I basically tied it at my window cage thingy. If you don't know what is that just search on google "window cage".So I tied the leash on that window cage and start swirling it around until somehow it got around my neck😀.My grandma was watching TV in our living room.I was a loud kid so my grandma was so weird why did everything when silence. She went I'm my room and found me with leash around my neck.Panicking, call my parents. They came home and bring me to the nearest clinic. So that it.Now I feel what it feel like when you suicide with a leash around your neck and trust me it really hard to breathe with that.Ok bye and have a nice day/night.And please don't the same mistakes like me.I don't want anyone to get hurt.

You can't worry about everything, otherwise you'll go insane. That means you have to actively restrict yourself, or you'll lose yourself in the process. I should know, because I've been there before. You learn from your mistakes. But you still have to keep reminding yourself of what you already know.

There's a version of the "don't go grocery shopping while hungry" rule specifically for writers where you should never under any circumstances be allowed to touch your draft within 3 hours of reading a really good story. Because sometimes when you read something great your head goes "fuck this is so much better than my stuff I should make that more like THIS instead!" Look at me. That's the devil talking and you should close the document NOW.

Oops! A Big Mistake!
I saw this headline: “Oops! Buc-ee’s Billboard Goes Viral Due to Embarrassing Spelling Mistake”. Apparently, the billboard reads: “You had me at Hodwy,” misspelling the word “Howdy”. The mistake was first reported by radio announcer Danny Merrell who said the typo was discovered by his wife, an English teacher, on an Interstate 35 billboard. Merrell joked “In the event that HODWY was an…

people make fun of the "oh you only hate her because she's a WOMAN" crazy feminist mentality but yeah actually you guys do only hate her because she's a woman a lot of times. for every hated female tv character there's ten male tv characters who are a million times worse and still given at least the "intriguing morally grey character" treatment if not straight up praise. for every hated female celebrity in real life there's one hundred famous men who have done worse and don't get half the hate she does. for every hated female politician, for every hated female historical figure, for the women you know in real life and on and on.
