((Ngl when I saw Ant-Man's helmet open in the Deadpool trailer I thought it was a huge mound of dirt or a pyramid of some kind or something...goes to show how much I was paying attention lol. I had no idea it was a skull. In my defense, it was sandy/dusty when it opened up though))
((If it makes you feel better, I missed the skull the first two times I watched the trailer. And then instagram was kind enough to have multiple screenshots of it on my timeline.))

Hell no, I survive off of 10 or more hours a day. I just sleep best during the day for some reason
Sir Anon
Ohhhhhh. I gotcha.
Tumblr media
Yeah, sometimes I feel like I’d rather sleep during the day and do whatever at night.

“I know, sweetheart, I fully believe that. But you gotta understand, sometimes bad things can lead to good things down the line. I should know; I’m living proof. And I think so is Cap.”
He explained, “I think a lot of that bad stuff from his childhood helped fuel what he did as Captain America. He fought for good because he knows what big bad bullies are like. Cap is made up of the good and the bad of his past. He just learned how to take the bad and make it have good purpose.” @nessiesbarnes
(ooc: hope it's oknto just send something)
" Uncle Scott...I mean Mr. Lang, sorry I tend to call the Avengers my Aunt and uncles, but do you know anything about the time line and what happens if you make a serious change...even I'd it's accidental?"
“And like, you can’t fix it and revert the change? Ummmm well…it’s not good, that’s for sure. Like it could potentially cause the collapse of that timeline.”
… “What happened? And you can call me, Uncle Scott. It’s fine.”

Scott shrugged and bobbed his head in reluctant agreement. “Honestly with the tech you guys have, we might as well be using floppy disks and computers that take up whole rooms that take an hour to spit out one piece of paper. I feel like we’re that far behind…”
He thought about all the fancy tech and science back home. All of Tony’s work and everything Pym Tech could offer. Even his own suit, he once thought was the pinnacle of science and technology. Okay to be fair, he still thought his suit and the Pym Particles were. To Scott, they would always be hard to beat. But with everything he’d seen so far on this space heist adventure and everything he was about to do, he could help but feel like Earth tech was like the kid sibling with little legs trying to run after the big siblings. “…now that I know what else is out there.”
Tumblr media
Huh. If Scott didn’t know better, there was some hesitation in Rocket’s answer. And with the way Quill wouldn’t make eye contact with Rocket, well, Scott could tell something was up.
“I don’t think your part will take very long,” he tried to assure his friend. Just in case. “I’m pretty good at tech, ya know building and wiring and programming. Definitely not your level, but still pretty damn good if I do say so myself. If you - or whoever - can get the parts for me,” he shrugged, “I can figure out the rest.”

Scott: Whoops.
Sam: Whoops? Whoops? This is not a “Whoops” situation. We are far past whoops. Whoops is a distant speck in the rearview mirror. We are solidly in “Oh fuck” territory, and I expect you to act like it.

You know it's time for bed when the Xbox closes the streaming service app at 7 am after you finish rewatching a show for the second time
Sir Anon
Going to bed at 7 AM? Holy crap!
Tumblr media
I would have been in bed and maybe probably asleep 7 hours prior.
Are you the type that like survives on 2 hours sleep? Because more power to you if you are. I don’t know how you do it.

Scott let them sleep until he heard a knock at the door. He scrambled up from his chair and carefully pulled down Peter’s mask. “Hey, wake up, you two,” he called gently as he shook them both awake. “My doctor contact is here.”
He left them and went to the door to open it and let his friend in. “Thanks for coming on such short notice. I wouldn’t have asked if it wasn’t an emergency.”
“I believe you, Scott,” Claire Temple answered as she walked in, a canvas bag of supplies over her shoulder. “You’re lucky I’m not on duty tonight.”
“Don’t I know it.” He gestured into the room. “They’re both in there. Pretty banged up.”
“Even Spider-Man, right?”
Scott nodded. “Drugged.”
Claire hummed at that before walking further into the room. “Let’s see what’s up.”
MJ came walking out of the dark alley. She wasn’t sure where to go or who she could trust. The only thing she had going for her was that she at least now knew where she was. Looking down the street to see if anywhere was still open because it was so late at night, she saw the lights were still on at the The Drama Book Shop. She had spent a lot of time in there and at least she could go in and regroup.
She slowly began walking towards the open shop but was struggling to keep herself going. The gash on her forehead was turning into a bruise but had caused her to lose a good amount of blood which made her slightly woozy. All she wanted to do was collapse in a ball and sleep but Peter needed her…and she needed him.
When she walked in the door, there was no one in sight. She read the sign right inside the door and saw that there had been a Scott Lang book signing that had ended a little over an hour ago. Again, she looked around but still there was no one to ask for help. MJ made her way over to the check out counter looking to see if they had a phone she could use to call for help, but who did she have to call?
Scott stretched out his back and arms before he collected his things from the back room of the bookstore. What a day. He loved it all though. It’s weird for him to receive such attention, but he would never get enough of seeing kids dressed up as Ant-Man with bright eyes and big grins when they meet him at book signings.
It was one of the sweetest feelings in the entire world.
He grinned softly to himself at the memory of each kiddo in line to see him as he headed toward the main entrance of the store. He felt like a walk back to his hotel was in order. He’d been sitting too long; he needed to stretch his legs.
That’s when he saw the young woman at the checkout counter. She didn’t seem to notice him at first, but he noticed the gash on her head. Instinct kicked in then, and he rushed over to her. “Hey,” he greeted with urgency and concern, “hey, are you okay? What happened? We need to get you to the hospital.”

“Hey Peanut! I got a question. What’s girl math?”
She snorted.
“Did one of those internet anons tell you about that?”

She snorted.
