f1wags After a brief hiatus from social media, y/n makes a cameo on her friend's IG Live today! In today's live, she spilled the beans on some questions about her christmas holiday in Australia and the short getaway in Japan with Oscar. She couldn't help but gush about the incredible experience—her first time in Australia. Oscar played the perfect tour guide, showing her around his hometown and introducing her to his family. He also told us about their short getaway in Japan. Y/N explained that they haven't seen each other for more than two weeks as Oscar is already back to work—busy with meetings, simulator sessions, and prepping for the upcoming F1 season at the McLaren Technology Centre, and she have to return to her work and projects too.
And can we just say, we're glad the couple is still in good terms after the recent not-so-great rumors?

Gojo as your bf headcanons!
Tumblr media
Includes: fluff, lots and lots of fluff, Gojo being silly, mention of having kids and possible spelling errors
So let's start off with how you two lovelies meet :)! You're probably a new teacher who got transferred from the sister schoo Kyoto to Tokyo because of your skill and prowess as a Jujutsu sorcerer. While principal Yaga gives you a tour of the school, you meet the strongest sorcerer, Gojo Satoru. He'd get all into your personal space, getting a good look at you before a smile crept up onto his face, greeting you with an enthusiastic smile.
"Hey, heey! You're the new teacher from Kyoto, right?~ Welcome to Tokyo!~ You know me as Gojo Satoru, the strongest, what's your name, newbie?"
Before you could properly introduce yourself, Yaga gave Gojo a good smack on the head, telling him to stop bothering you and act a bit more professional.
While Yaga started walking to continue the tour, you looked at Gojo who gave you a sheepish smile.
"Heeey, I still didn't get your name!"
You laughed and told him your name was L/N Y/N, which earned you a toothy grin from Gojo
"L/N.. I like that name! Say, do you wanna get a bite during lunch? My treat~"
And that's how it kinda all started!
let's just say that ever since you began working at the Tokyo school, the students started to absolutely adore you! Especially Nobara and Yuiji find you absolutely awsome! Megumi found you quite the Jujustu Sorcerer, though he didn't really let it show.
Okay, onto the actual headcanons lolsies
Gojo randomly barges into your office at whatever time. Either telling you about the latest gossip, bringing you mochi he bought from the sweetshop, or to complain about the higher-ups. He somehow always finds a way to be near you and spend time with you instead of doing his paperwork.
He likes to try out different foods with you! Whenever the food is too spicy, he'll give it to you wether you can handle spicy foods or not. (If you can't handle spicy food, you'll both be burning your tongues)
We all know Gojo is too rich for his own good, so what's a better solution then to let his amazing partner spend his money! Whether you use it for clothes, shoes, accessories, vehicles, hobbies, etc.. He doesn't care, as long as his pretty/handsome baby is happy, he is too!
He totally pranked you once by picking you up in his arms and flying with you in the air when you were still asleep.
He really likes playing with your hair! Sometimes he makes little braids in your hair (or atleast tries to) when you guys are just chilling in the comfort of your home.
He'd be totally down to wear matching outfits/shirts with you!
When you're both seperated because one (or both) of you are on a mission, he totally spam texts/calls you at any given moment. Sometimes even when he's fighting! (He is the strongest after all!)
Would be totally down to put a ring on your finger and make you Mr/Mrs/Mx Gojo Satoru
DEFINETLY wants kids, like he wants an army of babies that look like him and you!! His heart melts at the thought of it :((
If you can't get kids then he's always down for adoption! But if you don't wan't kids then you two can always adopt a few cats/dogs :)
Totally NOT a morning person, you seriously gotta drag him out of bed bc his ass is NOT MOVING (unless you're not a morning person either, then you're both stuck n late)
Ya these were the headcanons, thank you for reading to the end!~

i've always wanted to visit japan, so much so i'm learning just in case i ever do get the chance to go. . . i'm so happy for you!! please tell more about your adventures, if you're comfortable with it!! enjoy your trip and i'm so happy you get to go!! ^^
Aw thank you! Japan is also my dream destination so I was really excited to visit it. I hope you can go one day too.
Unfortunately (for me) I am not financially stable and I had never been abroad before, so this time I went on a guided tours with my family, which means everything was taken care of and I didn't have much to do but enjoying the scenery and taking photos like a typical ignorant tourist, so I don't think I can help you much ;_; but here's some places I like the most and some of my experiences
If you plan to go on a cherry blossom viewing tour, choose the south if you go on late March - early April and north if you go on April. Since the northern region is cooler the blossoms bloom later
3-star hotel in central area in big cities are really small. The hotel that we stayed in Osaka barely has a pathway lmao
You should definitely try staying at a ryokan. It feels so authentic for me and the staffs are all so friendly (our tour guide said the staffs in countryside are more hospitable than in cities)
This is the ryokan where i stayed
Tumblr media
I learned about the history of the place, ate the specialties of the place, and the scenery was beautiful. But my mom and some other people said they couldn't sleep the whole night because they feel something. I sleep like a rock btw.
If you like animal you should visit the nara park. The deers are tame unless it comes to food. This fucker ate the wrapper of my friend's gift.
Tumblr media
I visited Todai-ji, Kiyomizu-dera and Senso-ji. They are all very impressive and beautiful but there are a lot of people it's hard to take a good photo
Among the cities I visited (Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Tokyo) I like Kyoto the most cause it's quiet and it still has many traditional houses. Also the rental kimono in this place look the most beautiful for me, you should rent one if you have the money and time (our tour guide didn't let us since it takes a while to wear a kimono properly)
The shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the hotel rooms come in big bottles so you don't have to bring your own
That's everything i guess. Sorry it's nothing much, I wish I can go on my own too 😔 wish you the best of luck!

i went on a hatoful boyfriend pilgrimage (lol)
first stop: torimi cafe! the food was very cute and the owner was VERY enthusiastic about birds. there were two other guys in the cafe, and the owner started telling them about the birds (there’s a lot of backstory and drama between the birds, it seems) and his spiel went on for at least 30 minutes. one of the guys closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep.
i mentioned hatoful to him and he said that when moa first asked him about putting the cafe in the game, he didn’t imagine that it would become such a big thing. apparently he used to get lots of visitors to see the birds (though that has dwindled in recent years because the game is old lmaooo). unfortunately rabu and azami have since passed away but their children live on in the cafe! (they did not have children with each other. but y’know. their progeny live on). rabu’s picture is still on the wall! also he gave us (the bf was with me) free cookies at the end which was nice!
next stops: i went to kyoto to visit the places that are in the preliminary inspection tour with the staff trio!
the kyukyodo stationary store: i got some cute pigeon themed post it notes! they had other pigeon stuff too :)
Tumblr media
rokkakudo: unfortunately i was in kyoto in the evening so the temple had already closed. here’s the outside tho lol
Tumblr media
nishikikouji street (and the starbucks): i ended up getting a drink at the starbucks because it felt weird to just take a picture of it and leave lol. i got a yuzu citrus iced tea which was actually pretty tasty
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and that was it!! it was fun to go around and see these places :D

May 24 - Kinkakuji / Daitokuji
Freewriting
Today I woke up at 7 (with a sore throat) and took this morning's quiz before hightailing it to the morning meeting scheduled for 8:10. I grabbed my breakfast bento on my way out of the door so that I could pick at it during the meeting (the rest of my class did the same.) Immediately following the morning meeting, the whole class poured onto a local bus (because much of Kyoto's public transportation centers around buses, as there are less available train lines.) We road the bus to Kinkaku-ji, a famous Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, known for being covered in gold leaf. The temple itself was really cool but due to it being a popular tourist destination and today being Friday, the temple was unfortunately mobbed with tourists.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Our next stop after Kinkau-ji, was Daitoku-ji Temple which was about a 30 minute walk away (this was lightwork, considering that on excursion days I usually average around 25,000 steps.) Daitoku-ji is home to various karesansui gardens (often mislabeled as "Zen gardens" by westerners) that were beautiful. Unfortunately, I was not able to take any photos inside the gardens due to strict rules, but I was able to take photos of the outside temples which were equally as cool! We spent some time mediating within the karesansui gardens and it was a very peaceful and pleasant experience.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Daitoku-ji Temple was todays last group excursion, so after being released a little earlier than I had originally anticipated, I grabbed some lunch with the guys at "The Hamburger." Japan once again delivered with some great and authentic tasting American food (I love burgers.)
Tumblr media
After catching a bus back from "The Hamburger," I took a three hour nap (I hadn't been feeling great all day and am probably coming down with what many of my sick classmates have but this nap definitely helped!) Following my nap, I went back into the city with Rich and Zachary where we got some Chinese food and I bought a carry on suitcase to bring home all the stuff that I've bought (I don't know who I was kidding thinking I was only going to need the one I brought with me.) I took it easy for the rest of the night and even got to facetime Corinn!
Academic Reflection
Kinkau-ji was a truly breathtaking site to witness. I find it to be extremely impressive that the temple lasted from its initial conception until 1950. Unfortunately, in 1950 a 21-year old monk burned the historic Zen temple to the ground in an unprecedented act of arson. No one is certain as to why the young man did this but it is heavily speculated (mainly by renowned author Yukio Mishima) that he did so because of his own idealization of the temple's beauty. The prevailing theory is that he committed the act of arson because Kinkau-ji Temple's beauty was preventing him from finding other beauty within his life. Personally, this feels like a reach to me. Especially considering how little is known about the young man who committed the act of arson but regardless it is an interesting perspective.
The other site that we visited today, Daitoku-ji Temple is home to various karesansui gardens (often mislabeled as "Zen Gardens" by the West.) The tour of Daitoku-ji Temple's gardens was really insightful and I found it really interesting how the gardens all represented Buddhist lands of thought. For example, the "flowing river" of small rocks or the large rocks that represented mountains featuring cascading waterfalls.

Day 9 - Kyoto
We left the apartment for 10am and got a taxi to the station as it was tipping it down! A 45 minute train ride and we were in Kyoto, our hotel was a minute walk from the station, well more of a run to avoid the rain!
After dropping off our bags we hopped on a bus for 20 minutes to Nishiki market, a 400 meter long indoor market full of shops and food and drink vendors and restaurants. We arrived at 2pm and bought tickets to the samurai museum for 4.30pm. It took us until 3.50pm to walk all the way to the other end (okay we went into shops and had a couple of stops but it was super busy and so much to look at!).
Our first stop was the 2D cafe, it was quite a nice vision break from all the colours and lights we’ve been seeing. I had a blue magic tea that changed to purple once it hit the fresh lemon, it was very refreshing!
Next was lunch in a little restaurant to the side, Michael had ramen and I had fried shrimp and tofu. Further along there was a stand selling sake, ¥100 for a small shot or ¥200 (£1) for the full glass, so of course we went for the full glass because that saves us money, right?
Finally it was time for the samurai museum, learning about the history and seeing their armour and swords, and understanding why there aren’t any more samurai’s. After the tour we got to have some ninja training, learning to throwing the ninja stars, it’s a lot harder than you would think!! Lastly we got to dress like samurai’s and have our photos taken, Michael was buzzing for this and I was obviously thrilled to be taking part!
Last up was dinner and I finally got to have vegetarian ramen!!

It's important to think about a number of variables before focusing on any one country, as they may affect your choice:
1. Weather and Climate: In many regions of the world, May is a month of transition. While some countries are entering summer, others are either in the process of moving from fall to winter in the Southern Hemisphere, or from spring to summer. Think about the weather conditions that you like for your vacation activities.

Too many people end up stuck in this process of consideration and opt to visit the same spot year after year. While there are numerous considerations when picking a vacation spot, cost is always the primary one.
Luckily for you, if you've read this article, the only thing left to worry about is obtaining enough scheduled time off to visit all of these reasonably priced locations.😀

Hey y’all! Just a quick little update! I am very very very tired, but I am in the middle of my tour in Japan!
Turns out, I have zero fear of flying, and my Japanese is passable enough that I can order food and ask where things are. Although mostly.. what I say is “excuse me” and “this one please” and it gets the job done?
Right now it’s my last night in Kyoto, which was the city I was the most excited to see, then we’re moving on! I’m really glad we’re hitting all the most tourist-y landmarks but as you can imagine, there’s a ton of other tourists. Dang tourists XD
This has, so far, been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done for myself and I am so glad that I’m doing this. I’m gonna need a vacation from my vacation because this tour is intense!

First Date (part two)
Tumblr media
Haru: Wait, wait! Don’t do anything crazy just to impress me. I’d feel awful if you hurt yourself.
Eden: Relax, Haru. I’m a professional, and this is the easiest thing. Let me show off a little for you.
Haru: Okay... but just to warn you, I have no idea what to do if you get hurt.
Eden: I won't get hurt. It'll be fine. Watch.
Haru: Okay.
Tumblr media
Eden: I'll show you a jump. Just a small one, though. Don't worry.
Haru: You're gonna jump? You mean, with skates on?
Eden: You said you've watched videos of me, so you know that's exactly what I mean.
Haru: But that was like, at a rink.
Eden: *laughing* What did I tell you? Ice is ice.
Tumblr media
Haru: Wow! That's way more impressive in person than on video! That’s a small jump?
Eden: if you’re here during the Winterfest holidays, come see me in the competition in Kyoto. Then you can see the big jumps.
Haru: I don’t know if we’ll even be in the country for Winterfest. The tour, you know? If we’re in the country then, I’ll be going to Tokyo, to my grandparents.
Eden: Oh. Well, maybe you can come watch me at practice some day.
Haru: Yeah. I’d like to do that. Would your coach mind?
Eden: I’ll ask, but I’m sure it’ll be fine. Practices are technically public. It’s just that people don’t tend to show up to watch every day.
Haru: We'll have to coordinate our schedules. When do you usually practice?
Eden: My ice time is in the afternoon for the time being. I usually start at one o'clock.
Haru: Okay. I'll check with Sarah, to see if I can have a free afternoon before we leave. I'm not sure exactly when we're going, but I'm pretty sure the tour dates are already finalized, and we’ll be getting the official travel schedule any day now.
Eden: When exactly will you know?
Haru: Not sure. I'll tell you when I find out, but you might know before I get the chance to tell you. Your brother will get the travel information too.
Eden: When do you think you’ll be leaving?
Haru: In a couple of weeks, or maybe three at most.
Eden: That doesn’t give us much time.
Haru: I know, but we’ll just have to make the most of the time we’ve got before I go.
Eden: You'll call and text me when you're on the road, right?
Haru: Of course. I'm not very good at texting, but we can talk on the phone. Or video chat. I like video chats.
Eden: Me too.
Haru: Can we do shirtless ones?
Eden: Mmm... definitely.
Haru: You're awesome, you know.
Tumblr media
Eden: Ready? Here comes the big finish. You’ve always got to end with dramatic flair.
Tumblr media
Haru: *to himself* He's amazing! How can any person be this talented and beautiful?
Tumblr media
Eden: Come on! Want to race?
Haru: What? No! What happened to you holding onto me?
Eden: You said you could skate. You can—
Haru: Eden! Oh, crap… I’m gonna—
Tumblr media
Haru: Oowww...
Eden: *gasps* Haru!
Haru: I think I broke my face.
Tumblr media
Eden: I’m sorry! I should’ve kept holding onto you. Let me see your face.
Haru: Is it bad?
Eden: No. I don’t see any marks or anything. Where does it hurt?
Haru: My nose, and my forehead a little bit.
Eden: Anywhere else?
Haru: Mostly my knees.
Eden: Do you think you can get up? I’ll help you.
Haru: Yeah, I think so, but just give me a minute.
Tumblr media
Eden: Should we call it a day? I can take you home, if you want.
Haru: But, we were going for ramen, weren’t we?
Eden: We still can, if you want to.
Haru: Of course I want to. You might have to stay really close to me, though. You know, ‘cause I might be limping and I might need help.
Eden: Why don’t we go to my place instead of a restaurant? You can rest on the sofa, and we can get some food delivered.
Haru: What about your roommates?
Eden: They can get their own dinner.
Haru: That’s not what I meant.
Eden: Oh. Well, obviously I’m still going to cuddle with you, regardless of who’s there. Maybe put some ice on your knees, so you don’t bruise too much, and give some special attention to your poor face.
Haru: I have some ideas about the kind of attention my face needs.
Eden: Do you?
Haru: Mm-hmm. Maybe you could start with my mouth.
Eden: *leans in* Like this?
Haru: Exactly like that.
Tumblr media
Haru: You taste like peppermints.
Eden: I have some in my pocket. Do you want one?
Haru: I, uh… I already have one, thanks.
Eden: Oops. Sorry. That’s never happened before. I didn’t even realize it was gone.
Haru: Want it back?
Eden: *laughing* No, you finish it. But, I think I will kiss you again.
Haru: How about in the car? I’m getting cold.
Eden: Sure. Let’s get out skates off, and then we can head back. I’ve got a blanket in the car, and I can turn the heater on.
Haru: Yes, please. That'll do till we get to your place. I’m looking forward to cuddles on the sofa when we get there, and maybe some dry clothes too.
Eden: You’re about Charlie’s size, so if you ask nicely, you can probably borrow something from him while we put your stuff in the dryer. If not... well, I'll just have to wrap you in a blanket and cuddle you like that.
Haru: I wouldn't complain.
Eden: Honestly, I can't wait to curl up under a big blanket, not to mention how nice it'll be to have some hot food. That ramen is gonna taste so good after this.
